Anti-Immigrant Activists: Obama Inciting Civil War By Making Immigration Announcement On Mexico’s Revolution Day

Today, President Obama is scheduled to announce that he will grant temporary deportation relief to some immigrants living in the country illegally. Today also happens to be the Mexican holiday of “Revolution Day,” which commemorates the start of the Mexican Revolution in 1910. At least two anti-immigrant activists think this is not a coincidence.

In a press release today — which has already been dotingly covered by the Washington Times – anti-immigrant extremists William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC and James Neighbors of Overpasses for America claim that by picking today for his announcement, Obama is creating “a permanent symbolic relationship between his actions and Mexico’s violent revolutionary and civil wars from 1910-1920!”

“Obama is making a powerful and dangerous symbolic declaration to large Spanish media audiences today comparing his new immigration orders to the violent Mexican revolution and civil war!” Gheen writes in the release, claiming that the decisions of major networks not to air the speech are meant to “keep most US citizens oblivious” as Obama sends a revolutionary message to Spanish-speaking viewers.

Unbeknownst to most Americans, Barack Obama currently plans to issue an edict that defies current US Laws and the US Constitution by establishing amnesty for millions of illegal immigrants on Mexican Revolution Day 2014, which is traditionally celebrated on November 20 in Mexico and by Mexicans everywhere.

November 20 is Mexican “Revolution Day” or Mexican “Civil War Day” which is the equivalent of America’s 4th of July. Obama’s choice of this date for his departure from his Oath of Office and the US Constitution creates a permanent symbolic relationship between his actions and Mexico’s violent revolutionary and civil wars from 1910-1920!

“Obama is making a powerful and dangerous symbolic declaration to large Spanish media audiences today comparing his new immigration orders to the violent Mexican revolution and civil war!” said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. “Obama is timing his move to thwart the American public’s voice in Congress to coincide with Mexican Revolution Day and the Ferguson verdict while CBS, ABC, and NBC will keep most US citizens oblivious tonight!”

In case it wasn’t clear what they were getting at, Gheen included this image in an email to supporters promoting the press release:
