As a general rule, whatever movie or book that Glenn Beck has recently seen or read is absolutely amazing and contains all of the answers that America needs at this moment and so everyone should see or read it immediately!
As Beck is currently reading Jonathan Cahn’s “The Mystery of the Shemitah: The 3,000-Year-Old Mystery That Holds the Secret of America’s Future, the World’s Future, and Your Future!,” naturally he is convinced that it is the most important book currently in print and so he is talking about it a lot on his radio and television shows and lecturing his staff about it, as he did during yesterday’s televised staff meeting.
This book is a follow-up to Cahn’s “The Harbinger,” which was quite possibly one of the stupidest books ever written, purporting to explain how the 9/11 terrorist attacks were foretold in the Book of Isaiah and how the subsequent construction of the Freedom Tower was an act of defiance against God that will lead to further judgment.
The Shemittah is a Sabbath year on the Jewish calendar during which fields are to be left fallow, no agriculture is to take place, and debts are to be forgiven. It began last month and, according to Cahn’s new book, these requirements are going to be imposed upon America in the coming year by God whether we like it or not.
Beck is, of course, entirely convinced that this is true, telling his staff that because America made an “Abrahamic covenant with God” upon the nation’s founding, we are being held to the obligations of the Shemitah year and “it is wiping us out” because “God is warning us.”
“I don’t think it ends the way we want it to end,” Beck said. “But we’ve entered a new period. I can feel it. We’ve entered a new period. And so it begins”:
For those who may not know, “and so it begins” is Beck’s shorthand phrase for his belief that everything he’s been warning about for the last several years is now all coming true.
