As one source told <em>The Washington Times</em>, their chances for   confirmation can be boiled down to &ldquo;<a title="http://www.washtimes.com/national/20061115-105416-8912r.htm" href="http://www.washtimes.com/national/20061115-105416-8912r.htm">burble,   gurgle</a>&rdquo;:</p>
