Gohmert: 'We Have Put Into Place Leaders Who May Bring Down Judgment On The United States'

Following Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress yesterday, Rep. Louie Gohmert called into the "Point of View" radio program to discuss the Israeli Prime Minister's remarks. During the discussion, the Texas Congressman alleged that the Obama administration told the Nigerian government that the U.S. will not assist in the fight against the terrorist organization Boko Haram until Nigeria legalizes gay marriage.

"I don't know if you saw this story," Gohmert said, "but it was reported from Nigeria that this administration said unless you change your law to allow same-sex marriage, then we're not going to help you against the radical Islamist Boko Haram, which is killing Christians, having young girls raped and sold into sex slavery."

The "reports" that Gohmert mentioned seem to have come from right-wing outlets such as WorldNetDaily and The Gateway Pundit, so obviously they are very reliable.

Gohmert then went on to warn that God will punish America for "turning its back on Christians and Jews around the world."

"I am very afraid since I know," he said, "that the judgements of the Lord are true and righteous altogether. It doesn't matter how many people in America are faithful followers, we have put into place leaders who may bring down judgment on the United States if we don't start helping the good guys";

Louie Gohmert: Obama Part Of The 'Ayatollah Caucus'

Yesterday on “Washington Watch,” Rep. Louie Gohmert criticized President Obama and Vice President Biden for declining to meet with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu when he came to speak to the U.S. Congress just before the Israeli elections.

Gohmert told the Family Research Council’s Tony Perkins that while he attends Obama’s speeches out of “respect for the office” even though he rarely agrees with what the president is saying, Obama and other administration officials “disrespected Israel and disrespected the leader of Israel, it was not about the man.”

“If you named a caucus by who it helped, you’d have to name this one the Ayatollah Caucus,” Gohmert said of Obama, before hailing Netanyahu as the “Esther for the United States.”

Kris Kobach: 'Not A Huge Jump' To Think Obama Could Ban Criminal Prosecution Of Black People

Kansas Secretary of State Kris Kobach, one of the chief architects of the anti-immigrant movement’s legal and legislative strategies, told a caller to his weekly radio program last week that while he thought it was “unlikely,” it would not be a “huge jump” to predict that the Obama administration could call an end to the prosecutions of African Americans for any crime. Claiming that “it’s already happened more or less in the case of civil rights laws,” Kobach told listeners that “I’ve learned to say with this president, never say never.”

Kobach was discussing the University of Minnesota’s decision to stop including race and other physical descriptions in email alerts of crimes on campus unless they have “sufficient detail that would help identify” a perpetrator, when a listener named Stu called in to share a theory.

“Given the situation in Minnesota, given the recent story that Obama was instructing immigration enforcement to not enforce the immigration laws against illegal aliens, I don’t think it’s too much of a stretch, Kris, to envision an announcement that any black person accused of a crime, charged with a crime, is not going to be prosecuted, regardless of the crime,” he said, adding that “we’ve already seen it from Eric Holder in his failure to prosecute the Black Panthers.”

Holder, Kobach agreed, “basically made it clear….that the civil rights laws were only to protect minority races, and he was not going to be enforcing them to the benefit of white people who were discriminated against on the basis of their race. So, that’s basically what you’ve described.”

“So the word is going to come down that there just won’t be any prosecutions of black criminals,” Stu predicted. “And I can see it happening. I don’t think I’m nuts for envisioning it.”

“Well, it’s already happened more or less in the case of civil rights laws,” Kobach responded. “So I guess it’s not a huge jump, I think it’s unlikely, but you know I’ve learned to say with this president, never say never.”

Kobach got national attention back in November when a caller presented the outlandish scenario that a Latino majority in the U.S. would embark on an “ethnic cleansing,” to which Kobach responded in a similar noncommittal way, saying that while he didn’t “think it’s going to happen in America,” under Obama “things are strange and they are happening.”

Bryan Fischer Demands That Every GOP Candidate Be Asked If Being Gay Is A Choice

Bryan Fischer was so enamored with Ben Carson's statement that prison sex proves that homosexuality is a choice that he spent two segments on his radio program today heaping praise upon Carson and defending his statement.

In fact, Fischer was so impressed with Carson's statement that he declared that Carson has now set "the benchmark for the other Republican candidates" and called for every other possible GOP candidate to be asked the same question so that they are all forced to state for the record whether they believe that being gay is a choice.

"I hope they are asked this question," Fischer said. "I want every single Republican candidate on record: Do you think that homosexual conduct is a choice? I want every GOP presidential candidate to be asked that question and to be put on record. Do you believe that homosexuality is a choice? What is your answer?"

Kevin Swanson: Girl Scouts Turn Girls Into Lesbians And 'I Don't Want My Little Girl Turning Into A Lesbian'

Today on “Generations Radio,” Religious Right pundit Kevin Swanson repeated his criticisms of the Girl Scouts, which he previously said is a “wicked” organization that is turning young girls into lesbian communists. “Please, I beg of you, do not buy Girl Scout cookies,” he said at the time. “Please, I beg of you, stop buying Girl Scout cookies.”

Swanson insisted on today’s program that he isn’t “backing away” from the Girl Scouts issue because the organization corrupts children and, as Jesus said in the Gospel of Matthew, “If you offend one of these little ones who believes in me, it would be better for you that a millstone be hanged around your neck and you be drowned at the bottom of the sea.”

Later in the program, Swanson said that people are leaving the Girl Scouts because the vast majority of “parents who really care about their little girls do not want them being lesbians at 24 years of age.”

“Now there’s a six percent out there that are thinking, ‘I would love for my girl to grow up and become a lesbian and never get married and never, ever, ever, ever fulfill God’s role for her as a woman,’” Swanson continued. “My guess is the average parent in America, I’m talking 95 percent of parents in America, are not going to be keen on their kids growing up and becoming lesbians and homosexuals at 24 years of age. It’s one reason why I have a hard time understanding why they send their kids, their little six-, seven-, eight- and nine-year-old kids to schools with the GLSEN-sponsored signs plastered all over the facilities.”

Swanson also posed an important question to parents who send their children to public schools: “I would love to ask these parents: Is it your objective that your kids be well indoctrinated in lesbianism and homosexuality such that they will become the future lesbians of America?”

“I think 94, 95, 96 percent of Americans will say, ‘That’s unacceptable, that is not my vision for my little girl, I don’t want my little girl turning into a lesbian,’” he added.

Alex Jones: Liberals Are 'Demonic Villains' Who 'Want Blood' And Are 'Going To Kill Everybody'

Joel Gilbert, a conspiracy theorist filmmaker who followed up his 2012 opus on President Obama’s secret communist father with a recent movie comparing the president the Wizard of Oz, joined Alex Jones yesterday to discuss Obama’s “game plan” to stage a radical Marxist takeover of America.

Jones was, of course, in complete agreement, telling Gilbert, “That’s what I’ve found when I’ve been around socialists and communists at events over the decades.”

“I’ve been around a lot of them at all sorts of behind-the scenes Democratic conventions,” he said. “They’re really like criminal, bank robber types, like felon types I’ve been around before that are really creepy and have bad will towards people. And behind the scenes they’ll go, ‘Listen, when we take over we’re going to kill everybody. We want blood.’”

“They really are demonic villains, but on the surface, it’s like ‘I’m liberal.’ They are just so sick.”

Chuck Pierce's Prayer Effort Got Sam Brownback Re-Elected

Kansas Gov. Sam Brownback has had deep ties to the modern day "prophets" and "apostles" within the New Apostolic Reformation going back to his days in the United States Senate. So deep are Brownback's ties to NAR that he actually lived with NAR leader Lou Engle for several months and his ties to the movement even became an issue when he was first running for governor back in 2010.

As governor, Brownback has maintained his ties to NAR and its leaders and on a recent episode of "God Knows," the program hosted by "respected prophet" Cindy Jacobs and her husband Mike, top NAR leader Chuck Pierce revealed that it was the prayers of their movement that helped Brownback win re-election last year.

Without ever mentioning Brownback's name, Pierce and Jacobs discussed their "good friend who was running for governor ... in Kansas," and revealed that God had told Pierce to go to Kansas in order to pray for him and salvage his struggling campaign.

Pierce, the self-proclaimed prophetic apostle who claims his prayers are so powerful that they caused earthquakes and captured Saddam Hussein, said that this candidate had called him and after the call, God told Pierce that "if you'll go there and draw my people together in that state and worship ... I will shift the environment of that entire election."

Pierce then organized various prayer events in the state, several of which featured the participation of Brownback himself, and saved Brownback's campaign.

"As a matter of fact, it's called The Lazarus Election," Pierce said, "because there was no way, they had assumed that thing was dead. That night of worship, the prophetic that came down from Heaven shifted and turned around that whole situation into a triumph like never before":

Sandy Rios: Obama's Immigration Policy Will Lead To Attacks On Christians

After telling listeners last month to prepare for martyrdom, Sandy Rios of the American Family Association today warned that Christians in America may soon face death at the hands of terrorists.

Rios, reeling over yesterday’s collapse of the GOP effort to defund part of the Department of Homeland Security in order to block President Obama’s executive actions on immigration, said Obama’s immigration policy could lead to the death of Christians at the hands of ISIS.

“Some of us, honestly, may face martyrdom, there’s no question,” Rios said. “I’m not sure in our lifetime although it could be with ISIS waging — you know, now the borders are so porous and we are being so careless with our immigration policy, there are many things that may unfold more quickly than we think.”

GOP Rep: John Boehner 'Surrendered' The Constitution 'To The Left'

Rep. Tim Huelskamp, R-Kan., is none too pleased that the House GOP leadership allowed members to vote on a clean bill to fund the Department of Homeland Security, avoiding a department shutdown over President Obama’s executive actions on immigration. While speaking yesterday with conservative talk show host Steve Deace, Huelskamp said that grassroots Republicans have been “double-crossed by the establishment.”

Huelskamp was especially angry with the conservative American Action Network, a group close to the House GOP leadership, which launched attack ads against him and other congressmen who opposed fully funding the DHS.

“How can we trust them when on one hand they say they’re going to fight and on the other hand they always lose?” Huelskamp said. “I know some of my colleagues have been fond of saying, ‘Our leadership keeps fighting the same way and expecting different results.’ I don’t think that’s accurate. They keep fighting the same way and expecting the same result. Which is a lot: a loss of liberty, a loss to Obama and let Pelosi and Reid run the House and the Senate, they’re now the de factor leaders.”

He said that the GOP leadership betrayed the will of “conservative grassroots activists” and “average, ordinary Republicans.”

“We were double-crossed in the election,” he said. “This could be the day we look back and say, that was the time the Constitution was finally surrendered to the left. And where are our Republican friends? Voting with Nancy Pelosi, many of them.”

Pat Robertson Warns Against Seeking A Demon Exorcist, Unless It's Pat Robertson

Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson told one curious viewer that indeed demons and Satan are real. However, he cautioned the viewer against seeking out ministers who preach nonsense and claim that they can cast out demons.

“Most people don’t know what a demon is like and you get these people who are into demon-casting-out ministry and it’s a lot of hokum and they can do a lot of psychological damage to people, telling them that they have demons,” Robertson said.

Robertson then seemed to contradict his own point by advising viewers of the prayer he personally uses “that takes care of demons.”

Of course, Robertson has a long record of “demon-casting out” himself, calling on members to rebuke the demonic spirits in their sweatershousehold objectsartwork and games like Dungeons & Dragons.

He also believes that adopted children can bring “demonic influences” into their new home, homosexuality is “related to demonic possession” and people who practice karate are “inhaling demonic spirits.”

So if you need someone to cast out demons, just ask Pat Robertson, not one of the ministers preaching “hokum.”

Phyllis Schlafly Worries Immigrants 'Don't Want To Be An American And Abide By Our Constitutional Laws'

In an interview with WorldNetDaily’s radio network posted today, Phyllis Schlafly declared that she was “tired of” Republican presidential “losers,” and said that at last week’s CPAC she was impressed by Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker and Louisiana Gov. Bobby Jindal.

In particular, Schlafly liked Jindal’s comments about immigrants not becoming “hyphenated Americans,” saying that “these illegals…don’t want to be assimilated into America.”

“I also thought a very good speech was made by Gov. Bobby Jindal of Louisiana, who covered a lot of important issues, and particularly the fact that we do not want a lot of these illegals to be assimilated, and they don’t want to be assimilated into America,” she said. “I think anybody that’s let into this country for permanent residency should want to be an American, and if they don’t want to be an American and abide by our constitutional laws, we shouldn’t let them in.”

Prison Sex Proves Homosexuality Is A 'Choice': Ben Carson Continues His Tradition Of Making Absurd Anti-Gay Statements

After announcing the formation of an exploratory committee for his likely presidential campaign, Ben Carson appeared on CNN’s “New Day” this morning, where he outlined his view that homosexuality is “absolutely” a choice.

“A lot of people who go into prison go into prison straight and when they come out, they’re gay,” Carson said. “Did something happen while they were in there? Ask yourself that question.”

Carson’s absurd statement shouldn’t come as a surprise, as he has a long record of making similarly offensive and inaccurate claims about gay people. Here are just five of Carson’s most notorious anti-gay comments:

5) Gay Marriage Part Of Marxist Plot Against America

In a speech to the National Organization for Marriage last year, Carson warned that “neo-Marxists” who plan to “bring America down” and impose the “New World Order” have their sights set on “attacking” religion and families. Carson cited the book “The Naked Communist” — a favorite of anti-UN conspiracy theorists — as proof that movements such as the gay rights struggle are designed to “weaken the structure of America.”

Carson also claims that gay marriage supporters are among the “hateful,” “enemies” of the American people and that any federal judge who rules in favor of marriage equality should be removed from office.

4) Gay Rights ‘Compromise’

Carson said last year that he had found a “compromise” that could satisfy gay marriage opponents and supporters alike: gay people can’t get married. He explained that while gay people “can do what they want to do” and “form some other kind of relationship and call it something else,” they should not be allowed to get married since that would be like arguing that 2+2=5.

3) Affirming Churches Offend God

While the likely GOP presidential candidate frequently claims that he is a victim of anti-Christian prejudice, Carson has no problem attacking Christians who accept gay people and churches that perform same-sex weddings. Carson told Religious Right icon James Dobson last year that such Christians are “distorting” marriage” and are “really going pretty deep into the finger-in-your-eye to God.”

2) Gay Marriage Threatens Free Speech

Carson contends that liberals who criticize his views are trying to restrict “the freedom of speech [and] the freedom of expression.” He told CPAC last year that he will never give in to those “who have tried in many cases to shut me up” since it should be obvious to all that while “gay people should have the same rights as everyone else,” they “don’t get extra rights, they don’t get to redefine marriage.”

1) Grouping Gay People With Pedophiles

As Carson sees it, gay people are trying “to impose their lifestyle on everyone else,” and it is up to Carson to speak up against them. In a 2013 interview with Sean Hannity of Fox News, he even went so far as to group gay people with people who want to have sex with children and animals.

“Well, my thoughts are that marriage is between a man and a woman,” Carson said. “It’s a well-established, fundamental pillar of society and no group, be they gays, be they NAMBLA, be they people who believe in bestiality. It doesn't matter what they are. They don’t get to change the definition. So he, it’s not something that is against gays, it’s against anybody who wants to come along and change the fundamental definitions of pillars of society. It has significant ramifications.”

Scott Walker Pushes Birther Talking Point About Obama's 'Sealed' College Records

In the past few weeks, there has been renewed media attention on Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker’s decision to drop out of Marquette University before completing his college degree, as various reporters try to unravel the story of the potential presidential candidate’s final college years.

Although this sort of attention to an unusual detail in the life of a potential presidential candidate is nothing new, birthers like Donald Trump have been accusing the media of a “double standard” for covering Walker’s college years while supposedly neglecting Obama’s — a reference to the birther myth that the president has “sealed” his college transcripts in order to hide something about his identity.

But it turns out that it’s not just people like Trump who are using this talking point. In an interview with radio host Dana Loesch at CPAC last week, Walker gave a nod to those who are skeptical of President Obama’s history.

Referring to the stories about the Wisconsin governor’s college days, Loesch told Walker, “You’ve already been more vetted than the commander-in-chief.”

“Yeah,” Walker responded. “And more written about my college days than the president. I unsealed my records!”

It’s not even clear what Walker is referring to. Like many presidential candidates, Obama hasn’t released his college transcripts … but neither, as far as we can tell, has Walker.

Beck: My 'Restoring Honor' Speech Could Have Saved The Nation 'If America Would Have Listened To It'

After comparing Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu's speech to Congress this morning to the biblical book of Esther, Glenn Beck declared on his radio program today that Netanyahu's speech was the most important one given since the one that Beck delivered at his "Restoring Honor" event on the National Mall back in 2010.

"Have you ever seen a speech that hasn't been given get this much attention?" Beck asked. "The last speech I saw get this much attention before it was given was 8/28."

Beck went on to claim that his 8/28 speech would have changed the course of the world "if America would have listened to it."

Sadly, the nation didn't listen, Beck said, but he knows that he still accomplished God's "desired outcome."

"I do believe it did change the course with many people," Beck said. "It had its desired outcome, I believe, for the Lord":

Sandy Rios: Migrant Kids Spread Disease Because They Don't Know 'How To Go To The Bathroom Properly'

On her radio program this morning, the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios claimed once again that young immigrants are responsible for a recent outbreak of Enterovirus D68, even though health experts have found that there is no link between immigrants and the debilitating illness. After reading a Washington Post story about the illness that didn’t mention any connection with immigration, Rios went ahead and suggested that Central American children who “were shuttled to unknown place around the country” spread Enterovirus D68 to other kids.

Rios backed up this assertion by claiming that immigrant children don’t have any basic understanding of hygiene and are largely unvaccinated, despite the fact that Central Americans have a higher vaccination rate than U.S. youth. She even claimed that the kids don’t even know how to use the bathroom.

“We have vaccinations and hygiene and cleanliness and we teach people in western civilization how to go to the bathroom properly, how to take care of things, how to do things in a sanitary way,” Rios said. “Do you not think that when we open our borders to a glut of people from another world who have never been trained, don’t know that, that that’s not going to bring in disease?”

Walid Shoebat Warns Radical Islam Leads To Gay Rights And Cannibalism

Walid Shoebat, a right-wing activist and frequent Fox News guest who has built his career around the questionable claim that he is an “ex-terrorist,” told Alaska politician and radio host Joe Miller in an interview last week that Islamists in the Middle East are seeking to introduce an anti-Christian tyranny that will ultimately “bring in homosexual rights” and “rights to cannibalism” because “that’s how tyrannies work.”

“The Islamification process is not just the idea of making it difficult for Christians like you see in the Palestinian arena,” he told Miller.

“Now it’s really transforming into something more. In other words, tyranny begins at that stage, in which tyranny wants to basically bring in homosexual rights, pretty soon it will be rights to cannibalism, rights to polygamy, rights to [etc.] And that’s how tyrannies work. It’s not just Islamo-tyranny, but any tyranny, this is how it works,” he said.

Ben Carson: Net Neutrality Creates Government 'Control In The Private Lives Of Citizens'

Ben Carson, the conservative activist who announced today that he will be forming a presidential exploratory committee, spoke with David Brody at CPAC last week about his likely 2016 bid.

When Brody asked Carson for his views about “this whole F.C.C. net neutrality thing,” Carson gave a baffling response that seemed to have nothing to do with net neutrality, which ensures that internet service providers treat all internet content equally, as he suggested that the principle of the open internet somehow will lead to more secrecy and less privacy.

Carson told Brody that President Obama and others want to “impose another level of secrecy and control in the private lives of citizens” through net neutrality, arguing that officials should instead focus on “exploring ways to allow people to do what they want to do, they’ve been doing it for years, so why should we now impose a layer of government control.”

Joe Miller Fears Immigration Will Hurt 'Integrity' Of Population, Destroy Second Amendment

As we noted earlier, former GOP Alaska Senate candidate Joe Miller is launching a new chapter as a right-wing radio host, and recruited an all-star cast of activists to be guests on his show in its opening weeks. Miller set the tone for the program with his very first guest, prominent anti-immigration activist and Kansas secretary of state Kris Kobach, who discussed with Miller the “cultural damage” being done by high levels of immigration.

Miller lamented to Kobach that too many people “react with sympathy and empathy” to undocumented immigrants when really President Obama’s executive actions on immigration amount to “the destruction of a nation.”

“If you’ve got a country that doesn’t protect its borders, doesn’t protect the integrity of its people, what do we become?” he asked.

He added that immigration reform would endanger the Second Amendment because “there’s no concept of the Second Amendment in Mexico, people don’t have the right to have guns, they don’t understand the constitutional right here.”

Kobach picked up on the argument, fearing that since “our schools aren’t pushing American culture and our American creed anymore,” immigrants are failing to assimilate, resulting in both “economic damage” and “cultural damage.”

Klingenschmitt: Murder Of North Carolina Muslim Students Was An Anti-Christian Hate Crime

Last month, three young Muslims students were murdered in an apartment in North Carolina, in a crime allegedly stemming from a long-simmering dispute over parking. The man accused of committing the murders was reportedly an atheist who frequently posted anti-religious messages on his Facebook page.

Among the things he had posted on his Facebook page was an image asserting that despite their opposition to one another, "radical Christians" and "radical Muslims" actually hold similar ideological positions on a wide array of issues ... and because of that, Colorado state representative Gordon Klingenschmitt is convinced that these three Muslims were really killed "because they were like Christians."

Taking the Religious Right's persecution complex to its absurd conclusion, Klingenschmitt cited this particular Facebook post on his "Pray In Jesus Name" program today as proof that this "radical left-wing atheist who is going around killing people of faith ... killed these Muslims because they think like Christians":

Pat Robertson: Muslim Neighbors Want To Kill You; Obama Advancing Islam

Today on “The 700 Club,” Pat Robertson said that the Islamic world has largely embraced violent extremism “like a trigger went off” and “something activated this latent spirit in Islam.”

Robertson said that while Christians in the Middle East should love their Muslim neighbors, they must “be aware that they are trying to kill you.”

Earlier in the program, the televangelist repeated his frequent refrain that President Obama is aiding Islamic extremists, telling listeners that Obama has “a desire to somehow weaken America, weaken western power and build up Islam.”

“His action time and time again is favoring Islam and not favoring America and what we would call western democracy,” Robertson said.
