Right-wing activist Clint Bolick is pushing a lawsuit in New Jersey, claiming that schools in cities like Newark are not meeting the state’s constitutional standards for quality education. But instead of demanding that the state improve its public school system, the longtime school voucher advocate wants to force the state to fund private schools with public money—leaving even less resources for struggling schools.
