Last week, virulently anti-gay activist Theodore Shoebat posted a video declaring that gays have a deeply demonic desire to murder Christians and warning all the “sodomites” that they will one day be violently forced to submit to Christian values.
Citing reports that Kentucky clerk Kim Davis had received death threats for refusing to allow the county office to issue marriage licenses to gay couples, Shoebat said that this should come as no surprise because every gay person harbors a violent desire to kill Christians.
“When we see these threats, it really shines a light on the demonic and satanic and violent desires that these homos have,” he said. “Do not think for a second that the sodomites would treat us peacefully! Do not think for a second that the sodomites do not want to commit persecution against Christians. I do not hesitate at all to say that the sodomites — and I say this with confidence — that the sodomites would not hesitate to kill people like me, to kill Kim Davis, to kill other Christians, to kill anyone who is opposing their agenda.”
But gay activists will not be allowed to get away with persecuting and murdering Christians, Shoebat vowed, because right-wing militias are already rising up to protect people like Davis and to force gays to submit to Christianity.
“It’s either/or,” Shoebat declared. “You either make the sodomites submit to Christian morality, to the law of God, to the law of Heaven or they will force you to submit. There is no other choice … This is a message to you sodomites out there, if you are listening, expect to one day submit to us and submit to the law of God.”
And just in case Shoebat wasn’t clear on how exactly he intends to make gays submit to the law of God, he wrote a separate post once again calling for them to be put to death:
Since homosexuality is against the sacrament of marriage, which is the building block of society, then it is against the common good, and the very Faith of our civilization, and thus is an enemy to the Christian people and should be treated as sedition. Let the heretics who believe in such license read where St. Paul refers to these sodomites as “deserving of death,” and also those who “approve of those who practice them” (Romans 1:32), and let them dare say that homosexuality should be allowed in a Christian society … A small step is a great fall, and a little leaven spoils the whole batch; if we allow such wickedness to be done in incriminates [sic], then they will soon be done in great numbers. Crush the eggs of the baby serpents before they hatch. The sodomite, the atheist, the fanatic feminist, the Muslim — all such must be deemed as criminals and enemies to civilization, for they war against the Faith, promote death and hate life.
They should be told to leave their wicked ways under coercion, and if that does not work, then death and strong suppression is the only solution. We cannot allow someone the freedom to do evil, for this will only increase the presence of darkness in the society, and it will become an internal enemy … Let the governments take up the Holy Cross, and destroy the works of the devil. (1 John 3:8) Let it destroy the advancers of antichrist, and utterly annihilate the acolytes of the evil doctrines of Sodom. Christus vincit!
Allow us to point out once again that Shoebat is not just some fringe zealot, but was actually featured in Janet Porter’s anti-gay documentary “Light Wins” along with several Republican members of Congress and GOP presidential candidates Mike Huckabee and Rand Paul.
