On her radio program today , American Family Association official Sandy Rios doubled down on her support for Donald Trump’s recommended ban on all Muslim immigrants.
She took issue with Fox News pundit Charles Krauthammer’s criticism of Trump’s plan, lamenting that he was trying to make Trump supporters look like delusional bigots.
“If that’s deeply bigoted, I guess I sign up because I think that’s a great idea myself,” Rios said of the GOP presidential frontrunner’s proposal. “I’m not sure how we’ll do it but I think it’s common sense. That’s my position on it and I’m not ashamed to say that.”
