Mike Huckabee Returns The Favor, Endorses Janet Porter For State Senate In Ohio

Back before he dropped out of the presidential race, Mike Huckabee spent an a lot of time blasting the Religious Right for failing to support his campaign as most of the movement leaders lined up behind Ted Cruz, while he was reduced to scrounging up endorsements from fringe candidates like Janet Porter.

Porter has long been an ardent Huckabee supporter, so it was no surprise to see Huckabee eagerly welcome her support, despite her radical views and long history of promoting bizarre conspiracy theories, ranging from warning that President Obama would orchestrate food shortages to starve conservatives to death to speculating that Obama would use swine flu fears as an excuse to lock conservatives up in prison camps.

She also released an insane anti-gay movie last year in which Huckabee was prominently featured.

Porter, of course, is currently running her own campaign for elected office in Ohio and Huckabee has now returned the favor by releasing a video endorsing her bid for a seat in the state senate:
