Glenn Beck's Ideal Government
Near the end of his radio broadcast today, Glenn Beck began to promote the prospect of Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert launching a primary challenge against Republican Senator John Cornyn, resulting in a delegation to the US Senate that would consist of "a couple of ass-kickers" in Gohmert and Ted Cruz.
The idea so enthralled Beck that he began laying out his fantasy government of the future, consisting of Cruz as President, Rand Paul as Vice President, Ron Paul as Treasury Secretary, and Gohmert as Secretary of State.
When co-host Pat Gray pointed out that if Cruz and Gohmert were both serving in the administration, Texas would need two new senators, Beck suggested that he and Gray could fill those positions, which prompted co-host Stu Burguiere to declare that there is no way he'd ever vote for Beck.
"You're a loose cannon," Burguiere said. "I don't trust this guy at all":
