Glenn Beck opened his television program last night by marveling that America’s “tolerance of lies and corruption is phenomenal” and declaring that if the nation fails to hold the Obama administration accountable for things like Benghazi and the IRS scandal, “I am afraid of the monster we have created.”
Beck went on to blast the media for failing to adequately cover these and other stories to his satisfaction, saying the media “either [has] lied, they’re incredibly stupid, or they’re part of the cover-up and if you’re any of those things you should be put out of business.”
Beck went on to say if media incompetence has in any way aided the administration’s various cover-ups, then those responsible are guilty of obstructing an investigation and should go to jail.
Later in the program, Beck declared that the Obama administration is “a Chicago crime syndicate” and smirked that “out of all of the things that this crime family in Washington has done, wouldn’t it be appropriate if they were taken down by the same organization that took down Al Capone”:
