Anti-gay Religious Right commentator Larry Tomczak is very concerned about all the gays that are appearing in the media these days, warning readers of The Christian Post today that an agenda is at work to convince their children and grandchildren "that homosexuality is a beautiful way of life." Distraught about the news coverage surrounding Michael Sam as well as by the fact that gay people are being featured on television shows and in advertisements, Tomczak warns that "the indoctrination and propaganda coming from those advocating a gay lifestyle in our country, classrooms... Slate’s Joshua Keating is out with a profile of Konstantin Malofeev, the Russian oligarch who has become a full-time activist and benefactor to “traditional family” causes in Russia and Europe. Malofeev worked with the Illinois-based World Congress of Families to organize last month’s social conservative conference at the Kremlin. In fact, Malofeev sounds a lot like an American Religious Right leader when he argues that Christians are facing totalitarian persecution in the U.S. and western Europe: “Just as Christians in the West in Ronald Reagan’s... On today's radio broadcast, Bryan Fischer unveiled a new conspiracy theory alleging that the FCC would soon start rescinding the broadcasting licenses held by Religious Right broadcasters on the grounds that they were promoting "hate speech" by publicly opposing "the normalization of homosexual behavior." Citing claims that the FCC will start placing researchers in newrooms all over the nation, Fischer warned that anti-gay activists who use their radio broadcasts to say that homosexuality ought to be discouraged and made illegal because "it's immoral, it's... Glenn Beck was deeply disturbed by Sunday night's Grammy Awards show, but not for the reason all the other Religious Right activists are outraged. In Beck's case, he was upset by Katy Perry's "Dark Horse" performance, which was unmistakably "demonic." Calling the performance "full-fledged witchcraft and demonic glorification," Beck said Perry's performance is further proof that American society is worshiping a false, demonic god ... "and it's not going to end well": MORE

The first film released under Rick Santorum's leadership at EchoLight Studios was "The Christmas Candle," which didn't even manage to earn back a third of its $7 million budget. But Santorum maintains a grand vision for the future, telling Matthew Hagee, who is apparently a talk show host now, that he intends to turn EchoLight into "the Pixar of faith movies": MORE
American Decency Association: 'God's Wrath' Coming to America Because TV Shows 'Shove Homosexuality Down Our Throats'

Bill Johnson of the American Decency Association apparently was surprised by the pushback his group received after the ADA attacked Magic Johnson for showing support for his openly gay son, and the watchdog group is, naturally, blaming the media. “We once were a people largely united under what was right and what was wrong,” but then, Johnson claims, “Network television began to shove homosexuality down our throats.” Johnson concludes that “America is deserving of God’s wrath” as a result of the media’s alleged promotion of gay people’s... To say that Bryan Fischer is furious about his failed appearance on CNN earlier this week where anchor Carol Costello threw him off the program would be a bit of an understatement, as yesterday he went off on an epic rant against the "gay gestapo," saying that Costello's refusal to allow him to spew his bigotry unchallenged on national television is exactly what "the gay gestapo looks like in action." Fischer made multiple references to the "gay gestapo," proclaiming that "the stormtroopers of the homosexual movement" and "the Nazis... MORE
