Before addressing last week’s March for Marriage, where he called for a new anti-gay “civil rights movement,” Rev. William Owens appeared on “The Capitol Hill Show” with Tea Party News Network host Tim Constantine to promote the rally. Owens told Constantine that allowing gay people to marry takes away his rights, without of course saying which rights he is losing exactly. He is suffering so greatly, in fact, that he called for “another civil rights movement to reclaim our rights” with people who are “willing to die” to oppose LGBT... MORE

While the National Organization for Marriage inexplicably stated that 10,000 people attended last week’s March for Marriage in Washington D.C., pastor Dan Cummins concedes in WorldNetDaily today that “reports put the turnout on the Capitol’s west-side lawn at 2,000.” “The Mall should have been packed all the way to the Washington Monument with biblical marriage supporters,” Cummins laments, decrying the “dismal turnout” as just another victory for the Satanic left. Cummins writes that “the left, those left at the rapture, [are] desperately... MORE

Mike Huckabee closed out the March for Marriage today with a speech dedicated primarily to excoriating the nation's judicial system for striking down various bans on gay marriage and demanding that legislators, political leaders, and citizens alike all stop abiding by such rulings, warning that failure to do so will result in God unleashing his judgment upon this nation. "There is no doubt in my mind," Huckabee said, "that this country would not exist had it not been for the providential hand of God. And I'm also convinced that if we reject his hand of blessing, we will... MORE

Rev. William Owens, president of the NOM front organization known as the Coalition of African-American Pastors, spoke at today's March for Marriage where he declared that he had participated in "the real civil rights movement" and "didn't march one yard, one foot for the same sex to get married." Saying that the push for marriage equality is nothing but a "bully movement," Owens declared that the fight against gay marriage is the modern civil rights movement and, as such, activists must refuse to comply with laws recognizing it and be willing to go to... In his speech to the March for Marriage today, National Organization for Marriage chairman John Eastman compared the Supreme Court’s decision striking down a key part of the discriminatory Defense of Marriage Act to the infamous Dred Scott decision. Eastman cited Justice Scalia’s “call to arms” in his dissent to the DOMA decision, paraphrasing it as, “the court should never take away controversial issues away from the voters in this country.” “The last time the court tried to do that a century and a half ago on the slavery question, Abraham Lincoln... Sam Rohrer of the American Pastors Network had an ominous message for today’s March for Marriage: The legalization of same-sex marriage will “destroy the very fabric of our nation,” “invite God’s judgment” and “remove His blessing from our nation.” The former GOP Pennsylvania lawmaker added that marriage equality will lead to “tyranny” and ensure that America will not “endure” as a nation. New York state Sen. Ruben Diaz told “March for Marriage” participants today that even if the Supreme Court legalizes same-sex marriage, they must continue the fight because the American people are behind them. He pointed to the case of government organized prayer in public schools, which was ruled unconstitutional in the 1962 case Engel v. Vitale. As a result, Diaz maintained, Satan took over the schools, leading to waves of crime and disobedience. Diaz said this year’s decision in Town of Greece v. Galloway proves that the cause to preserve government-sponsored prayer is... MORE
