Leftovers

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/28/15

  • Dinesh D'Souza is working on a new movie that will "look at the secret history of progressivism and of the Democratic Party."
  • You really have to feel for the person over at FRC who was tasked with transcribing Donald Trump's word salad of a speech at the Values Voter Summit.
  • Once again, Glenn Beck is "going to turn over a new leaf" and if any of his previous declarations are any indication, it will probably lead to no discernible difference in any way whatsoever.
  • Lance Wallnau has a beef with Pope Francis.
  • Barbara Simpson also has concerns: "Is the pope socialist? A communist? I don’t know, but I hope we find out before the Church is destroyed from within."
  • Finally, Julio Severo is not happy with the nomination of Eric Fanning to serve as Secretary of the Army: "I am sure that in Obama’s and Fanning’s case, the Father of America would approve sentence on them and he would treat, with abhorrence and detestation, their sodomy and sodomy advocacy as an infamous crime. In the least, Obama would be expelled from the U.S. presidency and Fanning would be expelled from Army, both with dishonor, never to return. Both have committed treason against the Father of America."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/24/15

  • Fringe right-wing activist and "imprecatory prayer" aficionado Wiley Drake is making a run for the presidency!
  • Apparently, "Game of Thrones is so popular because the sexual immorality it exhibits is so popular."
  • Beware! The U.N. is plotting to create a one-world "global state," just as was "predicted by the biblical prophets."
  • Glenn Beck is now openly promoting Seven Mountains theology on his radio program.
  • Finally, CBN's David Brody continues to serve as Donald Trump's mouthpiece to the Religious Right and will be dedicating an entire upcoming program to him and his campaign.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/23/15

  • FRC is not exactly welcoming Pope Francis with open arms: "May American Christians give the Pope a hearty welcome! When hearing his views on 'Climate Change,' economic policy, and proposed Palestinian State, may they be like the Bereans who respectfully and eagerly listened to the Apostle Paul but examined the Scriptures daily to see if what he taught was true."
  • Donald Trump is now boycotting Fox News because the network "has been treating me very unfairly."
  • A good question: "Where Are the Cross-Inspired Doritos?"
  • Bill Muehlenberg says that "given that the sin homosexuality is singled out by Paul in this section of Scripture as the predominant example of why sinful man deserves the wrath of God, it seems we can say with full assurance that the West is long overdue for God’s righteous judgment."
  • Finally, the Media Research Center has released an informative new report: "Right Wing Watch Proves Norman Lear is No 'Conservative'."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/22/15

  • Ben Carson says that America should not elect a president who will not "swear to place our Constitution above their religion." He was talking about Muslims, but that would obviously also eliminate the likes of Ted Cruz, Rick Santorum, and Mike Huckabee, as well as the entire Religious Right movement.
  • Unsurprisingly, Carson's Muslim-bashing has been very good for his presidential campaign coffers.
  • Sher Zieve warns that "no nation has ever survived the treason which is now an every day occurrence in what was once our White House."
  • Phyllis Schlafly says that "Carly Fiorina was the only candidate on stage who firmly declined the moderator's invitation to recommend a woman for the $10 or $20 bill, replacing Hamilton or Jackson, two great men without whom America as we know it would not exist. The 10 male candidates should have had the fortitude to resist that bad feminist idea."
  • Finally, despite the fact that Jonathan Cahn's Shemitah prophecy was a total bust, it amazingly still managed to come true!

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/21/15

  • Peter LaBarbera is predictably outraged by the news that a gay man has been nominated to serve as Secretary of the Army: "Homosexuality is deviant sexual conduct. Sodomy is immoral, unnatural, and condemned by God. Now we have the military going from George Washington, who drummed a homosexual out of the military, to the U.S. Army being led by an open homosexual."
  • Jesse Lee Peterson knows just what Donald Trump is going through: "I know how it feels to be attacked the way Trump was in the two debates. For the last 25 years, I’ve been set up in the same manner. Many years ago, I was invited to be a panelist at the National Association of Black Journalists’ Conference. The audience was stacked against me, as were all of my fellow panelists – Michael Eric Dyson and other extreme racist liberals. I was called a 'white man’s boy' and worse."
  • Someone really needs to keep Glenn Beck away from Facebook: "We are at a fork in the road and while many will not understand the direction I am headed in, PLEASE for those of you who have documented the things we have seen coming that have now arrived, P L E A S E, listen to my warning and plea."
  • MRC's Dan Gainor is outraged that networks don't cover the post-game prayers following NFL games.
  • Finally, Bethany Blankley is not a fan of the new rainbow Doritos: "Doritos has taken feces and anal sex to a whole new level– making it taste good. Left out in nearly all discussions about homosexuality is the reality that anal sex often infects people with E. coli bacterial infections, spreads sexually transmitted diseases, and can cause anal cavity bleeding and rupturing. Homosexual acts in part, involve one man inserting his sexual organ into another man’s rectum, which contains and emits human excrement."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/18/15

  • Anti-gay activists are waging a "superhuman effort" to defeat Houston's anti-discrimination ordinance because "part of the homosexual agenda is to destroy religious freedom."
  • Don't you just hate it "when apostles and prophets use prophetic witchcraft against you"?
  • An excellent point from Paul Hair: "Liberty University invited Bernie Sanders to speak to its students and promote his Marxist ideology, and if it is open to hosting this politically correct evil advocate, Liberty should be open to hosting a politically incorrect evil advocate next."
  • Todd Starnes is very angry with the Muppets.
  • Finally, rest assured that Glenn Beck is only working on "saving the right people" with his $10 million Nazarene Fund ... by which he means "Christians."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/17/15

  • Evangelicals should love Donald Trump because he is "absolutely the best leader and he’s absolutely the best guy to take this country out of the morass."
  • Erik Rush is very sad about Glenn Beck.
  • Laurie Roth is no fan of Common Core: "We might as well send our kids off to ‘Hitler’s mind grooming camp’. We are told to live with Common Core, which is literally stealing the minds and achievement potential of our children."
  • E.W. Jackson will host "The Christian Awakening Project," because apparently there just aren't enough conferences calling "Americans to return to God, to the Bible, to Church, to family as God designed it."
  • Finally, let's all wish Kim Davis a happy birthday.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/16/15

  • David Lane predicts that Donald Trump will flame out because "he doesn't know Jesus."
  • Jake MacAulay explains that the true purpose of public education is to enslave Christians: "If you can isolate children, and train them to believe that there is a wall of separation between God and government, then you can enslave them—or rather—they will have enslaved themselves."
  • Susan Stamper Brown has some very valid concerns about what might happen if Kim Davis is required to issue marriage licenses to gay couples: "Might the same un-law someday authorize her to issue marriage licenses between stuffed animals and humans? Or robots?"
  • A Muslim started a petition calling on Germany to cancel Oktoberfest and it has received a few hundred signatures, so naturally Glenn Beck sees it as validation of his warnings about "the Caliphate."
  • Finally, "Coach" Dave Daubenmire can't understand why everyone can't see the obvious: "If you just take a few minutes to stop and look around, you will be able to see these Demonic forces hard at work in 'high places.' Can you say the Supreme Court? Can you say Congress? Can you say the White House? Can you not see all of the 'high places' where Satan is in control? "

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/15/15

  • Glenn Beck now appears to be in a fight with Breitbart.com, but he's hoping they can all hug it out.
  • Bethany Blankley says that "Barack Obama and every single member of Congress" are guilty of treason.
  • Janet Porter wants Fox News to fire Shepard Smith for being insufficiently anti-gay.
  • NOM's lastest fundraising email declares that "if there was ever any doubt about how much power a United States president has to destroy everything our nation stands for, there is no uncertainty now. Just look back at the last six-and-a-half years. Things you and I viewed as our unalienable rights as Americans are now in shambles."
  • Finally, Operation Save America is outraged!
  • - Kim Davis got what she wanted (no marriage licenses issued in her name)

    - Homosexuals got what they wanted (marriage licenses)

    - Lawyers got what they wanted (accommodations for Kim Davis)

    - Judge Bunning got what he wanted (compliance of the county clerks)

    - The Supreme Court got what it wanted (lawlessness enforced as a Constitutional right)

But did God get what He wanted? The answer is a resounding NO!

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/14/15

  • Apparently, "this whole ISIS ordeal was orchestrated to garner pity from the western world hoping that we would offer shelter to the refugees" in order to "plant scads of ISIS agents in the refugee hopefuls, therefore making a mass deposit of terrorists in Western Nations."
  • After rather suddenly ending her radio program last year, Religious Right radio host Janet Mefferd returned with a new radio program today.
  • Jesse Lee Peterson climbs aboard the "Kim Davis is a modern-day Rosa Parks" bandwagon.
  • Remember, Glenn Beck doesn't even know anybody who is anti-gay.
  • Finally, some deep thoughts from Steve Deace: "The Rainbow Jihad is much more than an attempt to promote a behavior Western Civilization cast aside as barbaric centuries ago. It is the lethal scimitar malevolently wielded by progressives in the cultural battlefield for one existential purpose."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/11/15

  • Laurie Higgins hails Kim Davis: "Her action has exposed the alienating actions and hostility of those in and out of government who are hell-bent on subordinating First Amendment protections to the pagan sexual revolution that, like the 'corpse flower,' is coming into full fetid bloom."
  • Deacon Keith Fournier hopes that the Davis saga will lead to a "Christian revolution."
  • The Kentucky state lawmaker who put Davis in touch with Mat Staver "doesn’t believe Liberty Counsel would advise Davis to fight a battle she is likely to lose simply to advance its own causes or interests." That is literally laughable.
  • Linda Harvey says that gay marriage is not based on "real love": "This is not authentic love. Real love does not relish and exalt sin, as we know from scripture. Real love rejoices in the truth."
  • Finally, Todd Starnes and Erick Stakelbeck will host a panel discussion next week on "The 3 Biggest Challenges Facing Christianity: The Rise of Radical Islam, Militant Atheism and Intolerant Homosexuality."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/10/15

  • Ted Cruz spoke at David Barton's "Pastors' Briefing" last night on Capitol Hill.
  • Even Joe Arpaio thinks Donald Trump has gone too far with his anti-immigration rhetoric, which is quite an accomplishment.
  • Speaking of Trump, he has reportedly turned down an invitation to speak at the upcoming Values Voter Summit.
  • Dave Daubenmire credits the prayers of his "Salt and Light Brigade" for Kim Davis' release from jail.
  • Finally, Phyllis Schlafly says that "when the Supreme Court ruled that all 50 states must license same-sex unions on the same terms as marriage, the court was implicitly declaring that Christianity and the Bible are wrong."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/9/15

  • James Dobson is out with his latest monthly newsletter and he is predictably still freaking out about the Supreme Court's gay marriage ruling and its implications: "It is the beginning – an open door to the entire gay and lesbian agenda coveted and lusted after since the 1960s or before."
  • Bill Donohue reveals that he will be among of group who will be meeting with Pope Francis when he visits the United States later this month.
  • Sylvia Thompson issues a dire warning: "What Kim Davis faces is pure fascism cloaked in victimhood, and the evil must be fought and fought vigorously, lest this nation become the latter-day Sodom on which path it is currently headed."
  • Jan Markell says that Sen. Al Franken has "engaged, I think, in the worse form of treason and committed the most gravest of crimes."
  • Finally, CBN's David Brody proclaims that the jailing of Kim Davis is a victory of the Religious Right:
  • Look, can we get real for a moment? Liberals, if she ends up back in jail, do you really think that’s a victory for you? Hardly. If she goes back to the slammer, the evangelical voices and mobilization will just increase exponentially. No, if Kim Davis goes back to jail the sleeping giant (evangelicals in America) will arise even more. Trust me, that’s the last thing liberals want. Evangelicals, especially pastors in the pulpit have been relatively silent as the culture has deteriorated for decades. Don’t you want them to stay sleeping? You’re playing with fire.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/8/15

  • Rep. Louie Gohmert says that he may not run for re-election if the Iran nuclear deal is not defeated. Apparently, he thinks that is some sort of threat.
  • Robert Reilly, author of "Making Gay Okay: How Rationalizing Homosexual Behavior Is Changing Everything," will be the keynote speaker at Peter LaBarbera's annual fundraising dinner next month.
  • Larry Pratt and the radical Second Amendment activists over at Gun Owners of America have endorsed Ted Cruz for president.
  • If this quote from Sarah Palin doesn't perfectly sum up today's GOP, I don't know what does: "I think I’d rather have a president who is tough and puts America first than can win a game of Trivial Pursuit."
  • Matt Barber wants "a million more bold Christians like Kim Davis."
  • A.J. Castellitto agrees that "we must all become Kim Davis" because the gay "agenda is the undermining of the Godly standard and the normalization of homosexuality. The intentions are fundamental demonic transformation of the culture and eradication of the last remnants of Christian truth from mainstream society."
  • Finally, Donald Trump never served in the military but he "always felt that I was in the military" because he attended a military-themed boarding school where he received "more training militarily than a lot of the guys that go into the military."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/4/15

  • Bryan Fischer says that "Kim Davis is Rosa Parks" while Mat Staver compares her to Martin Luther King, Jr. and Dietrich Bonhoeffer.
  • On a related note, Concerned Women for America and Travis Weber of the Family Research Council say the Supreme Court is to blame for Davis' predicament because it issued its gay marriage ruling in the first place.
  • Bradlee Dean fumes: "When a sodomite confronts a county clerk for not handing out state licenses in violation of Gods Moral law and calls it bigotry, homophobia or hate, we, as Americans, need to realize that they are willfully ignorant or just plain wicked. And the wicked are those who know the truth, but choose not to obey the truth."
  • Franklin Graham says that Davis' jailing "is exactly what we feared would result from the Supreme Court's disastrous ruling in June ... As Kim fights this battle, she is really fighting for religious freedom for all of us."
  • Finally, Bill Federer warns that America is following ancient Rome's road to ruin.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/3/15

  • "Respected prophet" Cindy Jacobs says that "historic changes will take place in the coming days that will be a prophetic catalyst for a great awakening."
  • Laurie Higgins has some thoughts: "One’s sex cannot change, which is a fact with which even leftists agree. Bruce Jenner is not now, nor ever has been, nor ever will be a woman. He can pretend and with enough money the mask and costume he wears to the cultural masquerade may become increasingly convincing. But to aid and abet his delusional desires, he needs to eliminate all glimmers of truth."
  • Glenn Beck is, yet again, ashamed to be an American citizen.
  • FRC prays against Planned Parenthood: "May God give congressional leaders courage to stand up to the evil of Planned Parenthood. May they lead to permanently prevent Americans from being forced to fund Planned Parenthood! "
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer blasts Ben Carson for supporting civil unions: "As a medical professional who is committed to restoring human health in any way possible, he should be opposing the normalization of sodomy with every fiber of his being rather than looking for a way to accommodate it. As a medical doctor, he should no more support civil unions than he would support the normalization of IV drug abuse."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/2/15

  • Glenn Beck is predictably outraged that the media did not understand how amazingly life-changing his "Restoring Unity" rally really was.
  • Discredited anti-gay researcher Mark Regnerus has been added to the lineup for the World Congress of Families conference in Utah next month.
  • Franklin Graham is traveling to all 50 states for his "Decision America Tour" in an effort to "urge Christians not only to vote but also to engage by running for political office at all levels—local, state, and federal. We need Christian judges, Christian assembly members, and Christian mayors. We need Christian clerks of court, school board members, governors, and, of course, senators and representatives."
  • Ex-gay and anti-gay activists are holding a "Clarity Conference" in Oklahoma later this month.
  • Finally, in case she hasn't already made it abundantly clear, BarbWire's Gina Miller does not like homosexuality: "It’s about the destruction of freedom, and specifically, the destruction of Christian freedom.  Truth does not change, and the truth about homosexuality does not change.  Homosexual behavior is sin.  It’s destructive and dangerous.  It’s unnatural.  It’s immoral.  It’s a gross perversion of God’s design for human sexuality.  It’s naturally repulsive to those who retain a functioning moral compass."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 9/1/15

  • Rowan County, Kentucky clerk Kim Davis continues to refuse to abide by court orders to provide marriage licenses to gay couples because, she says, "it is a Heaven or Hell decision."
  • Due to her refusal, Davis now gets to appear in court later this week to explain to a judge why she shouldn't be held in contempt.
  • The National Organization for Marriage, of course, fully supports Davis and declares that, like her, "NOM will never bow to a lie, nor will we salute what is evil."
  • Franklin Graham has some thoughts: "Isn’t it a shame that universities all across the country are allowing the LGBT community to push their propaganda on America’s young people!"
  • Todd Starnes also has some thoughts: "Friends - the time has come for President Obama to order the race agitators to stand down. Immediately!"
  • Glenn Beck knows what is "really" going on with the Mt. McKinley name change: It's all misdirection!
  • Finally, a "Christian woman" explains her support for Donald Trump using, quite possibly, the least convincing argument ever:
  • "Although I am not sure that Donald Trump has ever decisively made Jesus the Lord of his life, I have seen something about his heart by observing his current views. There is a somewhat curious repentance that seems to have taken place in his life—a dramatic shifting away from the ungodly liberal ideologies, and a determination to further Christian-friendly policies. Simply put, if not born again, Mr. Trump’s heart does seem to be steered by the Lord. When he changes his view about a matter, it seems to be because of a realization on his part that his former paradigm was simply wrong. From what I can tell, his switching of positions has nothing whatsoever to do with politics and everything to do with conscience."

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/31/15

  • CBN's David Brody bravely comes to Donald Trump's defense against some random Huffington Post blog post.
  • Larry Kudlow is vowing to run for the Senate if Connecticut Sen. Richard Blumenthal votes for the Iran nuclear deal.
  • Some exciting astronomy news! "A historical researcher claims to have discovered what appears to be a representation of the crucifixion 'in the stars' on the day he is believed to have died."
  • The Benham brothers say "America is disintegrating before our very eyes under the weight of postmodernism (without truth and a moral code), and people are hurting everywhere."
  • Finally, two weeks ago, Glenn Beck said that he wasn't even inviting the media to cover his "Restoring Unity" rally because the event was really only about being seen by God. The rally took place last weekend and Beck predictably spent the opening of his radio show today complaining that the media didn't cover it.

Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 8/28/15

  • Ted Cruz and Donald Trump will be holding an event in Washington, D.C. to oppose the Iran nuclear deal and Glenn Beck will also be participating.
  • Bryan Fischer has some "advice to teens on dating."
  • A warning from Scott Lively: "Sexual Orientation Regulations (SORs) (also known as sexual orientation anti-discrimination policies) are the most devious tactic of the LGBT movement for stripping Christians of First Amendment protections and setting the stage for the 'gay' takeover of any social, political or cultural entity.   These SORs are the seed that contains the entire tree of the homosexual agenda with all of its poisonous fruit."
  • Mat Staver warns that if government officials are not allow to discriminate against gays, then "that's a completely different America. That's no longer the shining city on a hill."
  • Finally, BarbWire's Tristan Emmanuel rails against Christians who think they can reach out to gay activists in "love": "They are examples of the enemies of Christ ... The only kind of 'love' these wolves deserve is the full weight of the law bearing down on them and putting them in their rightful place – a place where they have to learn to live, and let live. A place where they should thank their lucky stars that Evangelicals are eminently more tolerant and long suffering then say, they are, or, say, members of ISIS."
