At last week’s BookExpo America in New York, birther extraordinaire and WorldNetDaily editor-in-chief Joseph Farah caught up with Obama impersonator “FauxBama” and pressed him on his birth certificate and college transcripts. FauxBama, it must be said, was slightly more believable as Obama than Farah was as a journalist:
Before he landed his big FauxBama interview last week, Farah was best known for breaking a series of stories about things that never happened, like Obama’s birth in Mombasa, Kenya. Additionally, he uncovered Obama’s war with God,... MORE

There used to be a time when the Washington Times was a real newspaper, and conservatives derided the Washington Post as Pravda on the Potomac. We no longer live in that time.
Yesterday’s newsletter from Times247.com – “a Washington Times Internet edition that spotlights carefully selected news and commentary on a real-time basis” – featured a breathless report from none other than Pravda about President Obama’s forged birth certificate:
Pravda, you’ll recall, was the official mouthpiece of the Central Committee of the Communist Party... MORE

Judson Phillips of Tea Party Nation is taking a stand for the Birther movement, months after President Barack Obama released his long-form birth certificate to quash discredited claims that he was born outside of the U.S. Naturally, conspiracy theorists were not satisfied by evidence, and the president of one of the country’s leading tea party groups still doubts the President Obama’s citizenship. In a column sent to Tea Party Nation members praising Orly Taitz, the fanatical birther activist who has floated armed rebellion against Obama is now embarking on yet another lawsuit... MORE

Every time you think the Birthers can't get any more ridiculous, they prove you wrong. Molotov Mitchell explains that even though the Bible prohibits tattoos, it totally doesn't mean it. A two-hour movie all about how great Sarah Palin is? I won't be watching that. Because it went so well last time, Rudy Giuliani is apparently thinking of making another run for president. Peter LaBarber's obsession with all things gay continues. Finally, Timothy Miller pled not guilty to charges of helping Lisa Miller kidnap her daughter and flee the country. MORE

Mike Huckabee is now involved in a feud with the Anti-Defamation League. Dennis Prager says Donald Trump is now unfit to be president because he swore. CWA gives a "Cave Man Award" to King & Spalding. It looks like all those anti-Sharia bills will end up banning Jewish laws as well. Orly Taitz says that President Obama "has created this psychological Kristallnacht." Finally, Mona Charen claims that Osama Bin Laden really learned his hatred of America from liberals. MORE

Perhaps the rise of Donald Trump’s poll numbers among Republicans following his escalating “birther” rhetoric has given a boost to the discredited birthers, as the Arizona State Senate just passed a “birther” bill. The legislation requires candidates to prove that they are born on U.S. soil if they want to receive a spot on the ballot, and its chief sponsor in the House even met with Trump to discuss the bill’s prospects:
The measure, House Bill 2177, is aimed at President Barack Obama and those on the political right who want him to produce a birth... MORE

While Minnesota Congresswoman Michele Bachmann raised eyebrows after consistently and wrongly asserting that the Battles of Lexington and Concord occurred in New Hampshire, rather than Massachusetts (and later implying that Bay Staters were not proud of the American Revolution), the birther website WorldNetDaily was touting an interview between Bachmann and right-wing radio personality Jeff Katz.
“I am concerned about the future of this country; I am concerned about the existence of the country my dad handed down to me,” said Katz, “And just yesterday my boys brought home... MORE
