Bachmann: Maybe God Uses Terrorist Attacks To Humiliate Obama

Michele Bachmann, the former congresswoman turned End Times prophet, took to WorldNetDaily today to blast President Obama for his approach to fighting the terrorist group ISIS.

As Bachmann sees it, ISIS strikes whenever the president tries to downplay the group’s threat or change the subject to issues like U.S. relations with Cuba. This may be God’s way, she said, of humiliating Obama.

Or maybe our president’s humiliation comes in a manner so devastating it makes one wonder whether the Creator of humankind isn’t reminding this world of the inferiority of foolishness in the face of wisdom.

The president once again mocked his nemesis, the Jewish people and the nation of Israel, by cleverly turning the international press corps toward his brilliant work in Cuba, instead of covering ongoing Islamic attacks against the Jewish state as outlined that very same day at the annual pro-Israel AIPAC meeting in Washington, D.C.

History changed less than 24 hours later in the blink of an eye, and the rug was pulled out from under his well-laid plans.

The Tea Party icon also declared that ISIS is a perfect representative of Islam, warning that the religion intends to conquer Europe and is a demonic death cult bent on exterminating Christians and Jews:

History changed less than 24 hours later in the blink of an eye, and the rug was pulled out from under his well-laid plans.

Bits and pieces of flesh and blood, some Americans, all innocents, were scattered – scattered to further the act of conquest by Islam against the continent once enlightened by the beliefs and values of Western Christendom.

Three men committed to a false God and a doctrine of demons chose death to advance Western civilization’s defeat.

This week, some 2,000 years ago, a Jewish Savior named Jesus willingly gave His life as a substitutionary sacrifice to pay for the sins of all humankind, to reconnect us with the God who made us.

This compare-and-contrast of competing worldviews was soberingly and glaringly revealed.

One religious worldview brought peace and life, another glorified death and the cult of suicide.

For 14 centuries, world history records the facts, not beliefs, that Islam sought to annihilate first Jews, then Christians, then Muslims and non-believers who did not agree with Muhammad’s commands.

Read the Quran. Read the Hadith –the sayings of Muhammad – which provokes the reader to kill infidels in order to appease their god, Allah.

It was reported the Islamic murderers in Brussels shouted in Arabic as they blew themselves and others away.

Donald Trump Hopes He's Rewarded For Calling Brussels A 'Hellhole'

Donald Trump spoke today with right-wing conspiracy theorist Michael Savage about the Brussels terrorist attacks and, naturally, the GOP presidential frontrunner managed to smear Muslims and urged voters to reward him for his “vision.”

Savage said that the attacks proved that Trump was “100 percent right” when he proposed banning the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from the U.S., and asked him if he would consider closing “radical mosques.”

“We have to have tremendous surveillance and that includes the mosques,” Trump said. “We have to be intelligent people.”

Trump claimed that the attacks were sparked by the arrest of Salah Abdeslam, the ISIS-linked terrorist behind the Paris attacks, and that people in Abdeslam’s neighborhood “were protecting him” because “they want to practice Sharia law.” He added: “We have to do something and we have to do it rapidly because the whole world is collapsing.”

After Savage said that “all terrorism is coming from the [Islamic] holy book,” Trump defended his proposal for a “temporary ban” on Muslims from entering the country.

“These people aren’t coming from Sweden or Norway or Denmark or, frankly, from China, they’re not coming from — they’re coming from a certain part of the world and we have to be smart and we cannot be politically correct,” Trump said.  This reminded Trump to attack President Obama’s “humiliating” news conference in Cuba.

When Savage asked, “Would profiling be part of a Trump plan to combat terror?,” Trump said, “I would say yes.”

Trump hailed the city of New York’s Muslim spying program, calling it “the finest there is in the world and many people talked about it” and insisting that “it caught things before it was going to happen.” In reality, according to the AP, the unit he referred to “never generated a lead or triggered a terrorism investigation.”

He urged law enforcement officers to get tough on their targets, praising the use of waterboarding, and warning that Syrian refugees “could be fighters” and “the ultimate Trojan horse.” But the upside to these events, according to Trump, is that security concerns have increased his poll numbers. “I think it’s one of the reasons, and I wish it weren’t for this reason, that my poll numbers are so high,” he said.

Indeed, Trump touted his own wisdom, claiming that in Brussels he “saw a population that has hate, that has tremendous hate, I saw something that other people didn’t see and I hope that I’m going to be rewarded for having vision.”

“Now it’s a hellhole,” Trump said of Brussels. “I’m getting a lot of credit for having vision and for having foresight.”

Cruz's Call To 'Patrol And Secure Muslim Neighborhoods' Echoes Demands Of Extremist Advisers

Sen. Ted Cruz reacted to the terrorist attacks in Brussels today by saying that the U.S. should “empower law enforcement to patrol and secure Muslim neighborhoods before they become radicalized,” a vague proposal with troubling civil liberties implications.

It should hardly be surprising that Cruz made such a statement, however, since he has recently named as national security advisers several activists who have called for the severe curtailing of civil liberties for American Muslims.

One of Cruz’s new national security advisers, Family Research Council official Jerry Boykin, has said that “Islam is not a religion and does not deserve First Amendment protections” and has called for “no mosques in America”:

Perhaps giving a hint at the neighborhoods Cruz wants the police to “secure,” Boykin once absurdly claimed that the police refuse to go into the city of Dearborn, Michigan, because of its large Muslim population.

Boykin first gained notoriety as a Pentagon official during the Bush administration, when he was repeatedly rebuked by the administration for giving speeches framing the conflicts in Iraq and Afghanistan as holy wars between Christianity and Islam (or, in his words, “our God” and the “idol” Satan).

Another of Cruz’s new national security advisers, the Center for Security Policy’sFrank Gaffney, believes that there is extensive Islamist infiltration of the federal government, the Republican Party and even the National Rifle Association, and once called for the establishment of a “House Anti-American Activities Committee” to investigate this supposed infiltration. To give you an idea of whom that committee would go after, Gaffney is the activist behind allegations that Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin, conservative activist Suhail Khan and anti-tax crusader Grover Norquist are all aiding the Muslim Brotherhood. (Khan and Abedin are Muslim and Norquist’s wife is Muslim.)

Another Cruz adviser, Clare Lopez, said recently that Sen. Joseph McCarthy was “spot-on” in his notorious hunt for communist infiltrators. Another adviser, Andy McCarthy, has said that Islam may not deserve full legal protections because it may not be, “strictly speaking, a religion.”

Rick Wiles: Muslims Have Taken Over America!

“We have been taken over!” So said Rick Wiles last week on “The Jim Bakker Show,” warning the studio audience that “we have been taken over” by Muslims.

Wiles, who hosts the End Times radio program “Trunews,” bravely declared that he will stand up and fight the Muslim takeover to his death.

“I am not surrendering this nation to Muslims,” he said while pounding on his desk, as an audience member blew a shofar.

Wiles: We have been taken over. We have been taken over.
Bakker: Aren’t you afraid to say that?
Wiles: No! They are going to kill us, Jim! My God Jim, they are going to kill us some day! They kill us now or later, when do you want to die? When do you want to die, later or now?
Bakker: But the church is denying what you’re saying. I know it’s true. You know it’s true. But the church don’t want to hear that.
Wiles: I’ve got a granddaughter, two years old. I am not surrendering this nation to Muslims!

Donald Trump Taps Figure Tied To Militia Group As Foreign Policy Adviser

After explaining that he consults his brain on foreign policy, Donald Trump told the Washington Post today that one of his advisers on foreign affairs is “counter-terrorism expert” Walid Phares.

It shouldn’t be that surprising that an anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist like Trump is taking advice from Phares, who believes that the Obama administration is “being advised and suggested to by Muslim Brotherhood either fronts or advisers or sympathizers” and “has decided to quit the ideological confrontation” against terrorist groups.

Adam Serwer reported back in 2011, when Phares signed on as an adviser to Mitt Romney, that Phares “was a high ranking political official in a sectarian religious militia responsible for massacres during Lebanon's brutal, 15-year civil war” and worked as “a close adviser to Samir Geagea, a Lebanese warlord.”

In 1978, the Lebanese Forces emerged as the umbrella group of the assorted Christian militias. According to former colleagues, Phares became one of the group's chief ideologists, working closely with the Lebanese Forces' Fifth Bureau, a unit that specialized in psychological warfare.

That ideology, some experts say, helped rationalize the indiscriminate sectarian violence that characterized the conflict. "There were lots of horrendous, horrendous atrocities that took place during that civil war, in part fueled by that fairly hateful ideology," says a former State Department official and Middle East expert.

It’s almost fitting that Trump would select a person with ties to a militia group that committed atrocities, as the GOP frontrunner has pledged to order the military to commit war crimes if he’s elected president.

The GOP's Islamophobia Problem Is Much Bigger Than Donald Trump

Months before Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump called for a total ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the U.S., the billionaire mogul claimed at an Iowa conference that President Obama had banned Christians from immigrating to the country.

“Muslims can come in but other people can’t; Christians can’t come into this country but Muslims can,” he said. “Now what’s that all about? What is that all about? I mean, something’s gotta be coming down from the top. When I heard that, I couldn’t believe it.”

Trump’s audience may have been receptive to his bogus claim, since he was speaking to one of the National Security Action Summits that anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney organized in early primary and caucus states. Many of Trump’s fellow GOP presidential candidates also addressed these gatherings, where they got to hear about things such as Obama’s thwarted plot to set off a nuclear bomb in Charleston, South Carolina.

Gaffney, who heads the right-wing Center for Security Policy, has emerged as one of the key conservative voices on issues such as immigration, Islam and U.S. foreign policy. Most recently, Gaffney was named a member of Ted Cruz’s foreign affairs advisory team.

But until recent years, Gaffney was seen as an outcast in the conservative movement as a result of his many bizarre views, from entertaining conspiracy theories about President Obama being a foreign-born Muslim to claiming that radical Islamists are running the White House, the Republican Party, NASA and the Internet. He’s even given a platform to and praised a prominent white nationalist.

Much of the blame for Gaffney’s rise can be pinned on the GOP itself. Trump has frequently suggested that Obama is a secret Muslim, and Cruz alleged at one of Gaffney’s security summits that the Obama administration has banned anti-Muslim speech.

Gaffney also organized the Washington, D.C., rally against the Iran nuclear deal headlined by Trump, Cruz, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin.

Trump and Cruz aren’t the only candidates to have embraced the conspiracy theorist.

Ben Carson, who told one of Gaffney’s meetings that the Obama administration has a communist and anti-American outlook, adopted one of Gaffney’s core positions, that the Council on American-Islamic Relations is a terrorist group, as part of his anti-terrorism platform. Carson called for the government to “fully investigate the Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as an offshoot of the Muslim Brotherhood and a supporter of terrorism” and told CNN that the group is pushing “civilization jihad,” language that came straight from Gaffney.

The right-wing figure’s allegation that Obama is deliberately ignoring if not supporting terrorist groups has been picked up by CruzCarson and Bobby Jindal. He has also targeted Muslim houses of worship, accusing mosques of bringing Muslim Brotherhood agents into the U.S. under the guise of being doctors, scientists and engineers. These sorts of claims have, in turn, helped to prop up extreme policy positions such as Mike Huckabee’s call for government monitoring of mosques and Trump’s suggestion that he would close some mosques.

While Trump’s rhetoric has shocked many, extreme anti-Muslim views have permeated the GOP, and Frank Gaffney is one of the people to thank for that.

Frank Gaffney: From Pariah To Ted Cruz Adviser

Gaffney was banned from CPAC, the annual conservative event, after he promoted the bogus charge that two of the event’s organizers were secret agents of the Muslim Brotherhood.

Then he got banned from the “Weyrich Lunch” of right-wing figures.

A witch hunt against Muslim-Americans serving in the Obama administration, crafted by Gaffney and spearheaded by then-Rep. Michele Bachmann, drew severe rebukes from Republican leaders such as John Boehner, Lindsey Graham and John McCain, who delivered a rousing floor speech on how his attacks had “no logic, no basis and no merit.”

But recently, things have changed. This year Gaffney returned to CPAC, and today it was announced that he has joined Ted Cruz’s foreign policy advisory team. It’s quite a turn of events, as one would think that Gaffney had lost all credibility when he said the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell would lead to the reinstatement of the draft, wondered why liberal groups and Jewish leaders are “making common cause” with Islamists and said that Boehner and McCain, in opposing his anti-Muslim crusade, were “parroting the Muslim Brotherhood line.”

He has also endorsed the birther conspiracy theory, said President Obama is aiding terrorism and said that Muslims who believe in Sharia should be prosecuted for sedition.

Most recently, Gaffney interviewed and praised the work of an infamous white nationalist writer, although he tried to distance himself from the racist activist after being called out for it.

Despite this outrageous record, most of the major GOP candidates this cycle have appeared at Gaffney’s “national security action” summits, including Cruz and Donald Trump. It was at a Gaffney event that Trump accused Obama of barring non-Muslims from the country; later, Trump cited a bogus statistic from Gaffney’s group to justify his proposed ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the country.

Seeing that the two top Republican candidates have used conspiracy theories and anti-Muslim rhetoric to score political points, it can’t be too surprising that Gaffney is no longer a right-wing pariah.

Ted Cruz Adds Birther, Anti-Muslim Conspiracy Theorist To His Campaign

Ted Cruz has continued to reach out to extremists that even other Republicans wouldn’t dare touch, today appointing Frank Gaffney, an activist so bizarre that even the American Conservative Union issued a blistering report criticizing him for making outlandish claims, to his campaign’s foreign policy advisory board.

Gaffney, who heads the Center for Security Policy, has alleged that “there is mounting evidence that the president not only identifies with Muslims, but actually may still be one himself,” calling President Obama “America’s first Muslim president.”

Indeed, Gaffney believes that Obama may not just be a secret Muslim but also an Islamist bent on aiding “Islamic supremacists” and instituting “the Sharia blasphemy agenda of our enemies” in the U.S., comparing the president to Osama bin Laden.

Among Obama’s secret Islamist crimes? Gaffney once claimed that what was clearly a rocket on a redesigned Missile Defense Agency logo was actually an Islamic crescent that was created on orders from Obama. He claims that the president wants to overturn the Citizens United decision in order to ban anti-Muslim speech and believes that Obama is trying to give control over the Internet to an Islamic group.

He told one radio host that “the Obama administration is … well, they’re playing for the other team” and “providing aid and comfort to enemies of the United States. And that is the definition, as you know, of treason.”

It shouldn’t be surprising that Gaffney had his fingers all over the smear campaign targeting Hillary Clinton aide Huma Abedin for supposedly being a Muslim Brotherhood agent. He even accused New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie of committing “misprision of treason” for appointing a Muslim to a state judgeship.

If this smells like a McCarthyist push against Muslims serving in government, you’re right, as Gaffney has called for Congress to establish a House Anti-American Activities Committee to investigate those in government who are secretly aiding Islamists.

It is a bit ironic, though, that Gaffney would join the Canadian-born Cruz’s presidential campaign, since Gaffney has pushed the birther conspiracy theory that Obama was born abroad and is therefore ineligible to serve as president.

One of Gaffney’s colleagues, Clare Lopez, who also joined Cruz’s campaign team, is such a conspiracy theorist that she can’t decide whether Obama is a secret Sunni Muslim radical or a secret Shiite Iran-lover. Also joining the Cruz campaign is Andy McCarthy, who defended Donald Trump’s ban on the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering the U.S. by stating that Islam is not a religion.

Of course, Cruz has echoed many of Gaffney’s own claims, baselessly asserting that the Obama administration imposed a “ban on anti-Muslim rhetoric” and secretly aids terrorism. Cruz also spearheaded a McCarthy-esque campaign against then-secretary of defense nominee Chuck Hagel, joining Gaffney in wondering if Hagel was an agent for America’s enemies.

And that’s what is truly scary.

Donald Trump: Virtually 100 Percent Of Mosques Preach Hate Against America

Following last night’s debate, Chris Cuomo of CNN asked Donald Trump about his nonsensical claim that “Islam hates us.”

When pressed by Cuomo if he believes that all Muslims are “part of the hatred,” a characteristically vague Trump said that “if you look at the mosques and you go to various places and you look at what’s going on there and it’s virtually 100 percent. Certainly you can say radical Islam is a disaster right now, it’s causing tremendous problems worldwide, not just here. But the question was asked about Islam and there’s a great hatred, there’s no question about it.”

Trump, who wants to ban the world’s 1.6 billion Muslims from entering America, added that Americans must “run our own place” rather than worry that such comments would alienate Muslims across the globe, noting that many people in the audience seemed to like his idea.

“There is animosity like I’ve never seen before and hopefully we can straighten it out,” Trump said.

Louie Gohmert: Obama's 'Hate Crimes' Against Christians Invite God's Judgment

Yesterday on “Washington Watch,” Rep. Louie Gohmert railed against “the hate crimes by this administration” against conservative Christians, such as the nuns of the Little Sisters of the Poor.

The Texas Republican and radio host Tony Perkins, the president of the Family Research Council, falsely claimed that the Obama administration refuses to offer religious groups an exemption from the Affordable Care Act’s contraception coverage requirement.

In fact, the Little Sisters of the Poor is covered under its accommodation but refuses to fill out the form seeking an exemption.

Gohmert said that instead of focusing on America’s enemies, “they just choose to spend a great deal of their time going after Christians.”

“We’ve never had a religion permit the kinds of hate crimes that this administration is in going after them and bullying them,” he added, claiming that the administration’s “bullying” is “the worst in our history.”

After alleging that the ACA has “been used as a government tool to go after Christians and those whose religious beliefs are different from the president’s,” Gohmert went on to make the baseless claim that the White House tried to cut off aid to Ethiopia, Kenya and Nigeria until they legalized same-sex marriage. “This administration hasn’t confined their bullying just to this country,” he said.

Gohmert should not be considered an expert on hate crimes, as he once said the hate crimes law passed in 2009 would legalize pedophilia, necrophilia and bestiality while ushering in Nazism.

The two also blasted an Obama administration effort to fight hate crimes directed at Muslim-Americans. Gohmert dismissed concerns about such hate crimes while saying that the White House is ignoring crimes against Christians and Jews throughout the world because “we have a United States leadership that will not protect Christians [and] puts a real prize on protecting Muslims.”

He said that Muslim people should be more grateful to U.S. service members fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan, claiming that the U.S. has only gotten terrorist attacks in return.

“It is absolute insanity that this administration continues to do great harm and persecute Christians for their religious beliefs,” Gohmert continued.

The congressman then quoted from the book of Hosea to suggest that America is facing God’s wrath because “nations are made to account when they put leaders in place that persecute those who are trying to follow the words of God.”

Perkins, for his part, said that Obama is only promoting religious liberty for Muslims. (In the past, Perkins has repeatedly said that Muslims are not protected under the First Amendment).

Donald Trump Repeats Lie Of Americans Using Bullets With Pigs' Blood To Massacre Muslims

Once again, Donald Trump praised the actions of a U.S. general whom he said massacred Muslim “terrorists” in the Philippines while using bullets covered in pigs’ blood.

While the account has been roundly debunked, Trump repeated the story at a rally today in Virginia, holding it up as a great way to fight terrorism while dismissing media criticism for using the story.

“We are going to have to get tough,” he said.

Ted Cruz Announces Endorsement From Jerry Boykin, Anti-Muslim, Anti-Gay Conspiracy Theorist

Ted Cruz’s presidential campaign announced the support of yet another far-right figure today, issuing a press release touting the endorsement of Lt. General Jerry Boykin, the executive vice president of the Family Research Council.

Boykin first gained notoriety when he was publicly rebuked by the Bush administration for giving speeches framing American military conflicts in the Middle East as a religious conflict between “our God” and Satan. After retiring from the Army, Boykin threw himself into Religious Right activism, eventually landing the number-two post at the Family Research Council. (Boykin's boss, anti-gay extremist Tony Perkins, is also a Cruz endorser.)

Boykin’s career in the military came under further scrutiny last year when the Intercept reported that Boykin — who now frequently accuses the Obama administration of persecuting Christians at home and abroad — created a Pentagon program that used unwitting missionaries as spies.

His career as an activist has featured plenty of the same Holy War rhetoric for which he first became known, combined with conspiracy theories about President Obama as a terrorist sympathizer and a vision of Jesus as a “man’s man” who will return carrying an AR-15. He is deeply involved in both anti-Muslim activism and the fringe “dominionist” movement that seeks conservative Christian control over the U.S. government.

Just a few lowlights of Boykin’s career:

  • Thinks Christians should act more like ISIS and be “willing to die” for their God.

  • Blamed Obama and his supporters for the shooting at an Oregon community college, adding that we here at Right Wing Watch use “the exact same tactics” as ISIS and Al Qaeda to encourage attacks on Christians.

  • Suggested that the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell led to the “absolute destruction” of our military.
  • Said that “God’s army” must fight the “evil” of gay rights.

Frank Gaffney: Obama Speaking Out Against Islamophobia Will 'Get More Of Us Killed'

Anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney joined Indianapolis radio host Tom Rose on Friday to discuss President Obama’s recent visit to an American mosque and comments pushing back against anti-Muslim prejudice, which Gaffney said would ultimately just “get more of us killed.”

“Am I totally out of bounds in saying that if this guy worked half as hard evangelizing for America as he does evangelizing for Islam we’d all be a lot better off?” Rose asked.

“We’d not only be a lot better off, we’d be safer,” Gaffney responded. “The trouble is the way that this is read, this behavior, this endless effort at the very least to excuse and appease the Islamic supremacists, the way they read that is not that it is, you know, some magnanimous gesture motivated by a heightened sense of multiculturalism or diversity sensitivity or political correctness.”

“But, Tom,” he continued, “this is read by them as an act of submission … And when you engage in submission when you’re an infidel, the way the Sharia doctrine commands the Islamists who subscribe to it to respond is to make them feel subdued, to use the term out of the Koran, which means to use violence actually, to effect the final status of dhimmitude, the permanent submission to which we are ultimately to be consigned. So far from this doing anything to ameliorate the situation or, as you put it, to help us be better off, this is actually going to get more of us killed.”

We’ll just repeat that six days after 9/11 George W. Bush appeared at a mosque to denounce violence and prejudice against American Muslims.

Michele Bachmann: Muslim Migrants Rape Women To Commit Jihad And 'Destroy Western Christendom'

Michele Bachmann spoke with End Times radio hosts Jan Markell and Eric Barger on Saturday about the migration of Muslims into Western Europe and the United States, calling it a “planned invasion” meant to destroy “Western Christendom.”

“This clearly is an invasion,” Bachmann said. “This is a planned invasion, not only in Europe but also in the United States, I believe for the specific purpose of destroying Western Christendom.” Bachmann said that countries with large Muslim minorities like France now experience “Islamic jihad 24/7, terrorist bloodbath attacks 24/7,” warning that the same thing is coming to the U.S. unless we decide to have “no more immigration into the United States.”

Now, Bachmann said, Muslim migrants are raping Western women as part of their religious terrorism.

“The more that come in, the more they act upon their religious convictions and their stated religious convictions,” she said. “The imams from the original countries that they come from, they recruit and send these guys to come in and to bring about this destruction. Right now in Europe it’s called a ‘rape culture’ that’s coming into Sweden and Germany and all across Europe for the specific purpose of Islamizing these countries, and they are falling.”

“Islamists have a plan,” Bachmann later added. “They have a plan to destroy Western Christendom. It’s called civilization jihad. By bringing Islamists into our country and destroying us from in, they don’t need to just have a nuclear bomb. If they send their invading army into our countries and if young men are doing what they did on New Year’s Eve in Cologne, Germany, and other places where they are literally sexually attacking and raping and groping women and causing them to fear, we are looking at a completely ramped-up level of invasion one like we have never seen before.”

“Not only is Europe getting that, the United States is getting that, but we need to recognize what is happening,” she said. “This isn’t unintentional. This is intentional and it’s meant to destroy Western Christendom.”

The former congresswoman and GOP presidential candidate then said that Muslim migrants from countries like Pakistan and Iran may pose as Central American refugees in order to enter the U.S., all thanks to Obama’s refugee policy.

Earlier in the same interview, Bachmann suggested that President Obama is an Antichrist-like figure bringing about the Last Days.

Pamela Geller: Olympic Fencer Competing In Hijab Is 'Islamic Supremacism'

On Saturday, fencer Ibtihaj Muhammad qualified for the U.S. Olympic team, making news for becoming the first U.S. athlete who will compete in the Olympics wearing a hijab.

As far as we know, Muhammad’s choice to wear a head covering during the competition isn’t going to affect anybody else on the U.S. Olympic team, but anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller is up in arms, saying in an interview with “Breitbart News Daily” this morning that the one athlete wearing a hijab amounts to “Islamic supremacism” and “imposing Islam on the secular marketplace.”

“The Olympic team now, they’re wearing hijabs, aren’t they?” the program’s host, Stephen K. Bannon, asked Geller.

Geller confirmed that “they’ve designed special outfits for them."

“It’s more of imposing Islam on the secular marketplace,” she added, “whether it’s in the workplace, whether it’s in the school. It’s Islamic supremacism is what it is. You have even in Canada, the Mounties, they’re designing a police officer’s uniform with a hijab. This is Islamic supremacism. You know, Jewish law pertains only to Jews, canon law pertains only to Christians, but Sharia, Islamic law, asserts it’s authority over non-Muslims. This is the problem and this is something that is never discussed.”

Alex Jones: Liberal Women Seek Out Muslim Men To 'Slap Them Around'

Yesterday, Alex Jones of InfoWars chatted with Judicial Watch founder Larry Klayman about Klayman’s column naming President Obama 2015’s “Muslim of the Year.”

Jones, discussing cases of sexual assault in parts of Europe by migrants from North Africa and the Middle East, claimed that some liberal women in the West actually want to be assaulted by Muslim men.

“What is happening with the left?” he asked. “Not just here, but in Europe. I even found out that it’s a new fad where liberal women want to go out and find a very Sharia-law Muslim man to slap them around and dominate them but they hate their daddy from the liberal West who gave them all that freedom. Is this like some type of mass suicide culturally by the left? Who are these people?”

Klayman, for his part, said that Islam “is not a religion at all” and that Muslims constantly try to “kill each other.”

Later in the interview, Klayman praised Donald Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the U.S.

End Times Radio Host Warns 'Islamic Males' Are Walking Down Streets

End Times broadcaster Jan Markell is very worried about something: “Islamic males” walking down streets…in America!

In an interview yesterday with the American Family Association’s Tim Wildmon on his “Today’s Issues” program, Markell said that while she doesn’t “want to scare people, apparently, Islamic males are kind of walking down some of the main streets of some of our cities.”

“They’re simply intimidating Americans,” she said. “Nothing has happened at this point but they seem to be taunting Americans, taking pictures of buildings and things like that. I have some eyewitnesses to that.”

Markell insisted while she isn’t “trying to blow it out of proportion, but I just think we have an enemy within and we need to be aware.”

RNC's Dave Agema: 'Obama Uses Taqiyya' And Is A 'Socialist Dictator'

Former GOP state lawmaker Dave Agema represents Michigan as a national committeeman at the Republican National Committee, where he has used his post as a platform for voicing anti-gay, anti-Muslim and racist statements, prompting one Republican consultant to call him “the RNC’s David Duke.”

This week, Agema is attending the RNC winter meeting in Charleston, South Carolina, where introduced a resolution calling for the impeachment of President Obama (it failed).

In a speech to the meeting, the text of which he later posted on his Facebook page, Agema declared that Obama is both a domestic enemy and a “socialist dictator” who, along with Hillary Clinton and Republicans who “have been co-conspirators in tyranny or treason,” must be stopped:

It's the RNC's duty to steer the GOP. We have allowed a socialist dictator in the White House and the RNC has done nothing to stop Obama nor encourage a feckless congress to act.

What this resolution does is encourages someone in congress to do the right thing. I don't buy the garbage that impeaching Obama will motivate the democrat base. This impeachment process will expose in the media-TV, radio, talk shows etc. how egregious the behavior of both Obama and Hillary has been. There comes a point when playing politics must yield to the more important issue of saving our republic from Obama and any future over zealous [sic] presidents.

The RNC is about to answer whether we stand for enforcement of the constitution or not. The RNC is about to set a precedent whether treason and tyranny are allowable and no separation of powers exist.

It will be the GOP that will be lynched for permitting tyranny to occur and not have attempted to stop it. We are seeing the overthrow of our constitutional republic and if the RNC does nothing, then we are part of the problem. If we do nothing, we are establishing a policy within the GOP that treason is NOT an impeachable offense. The yearning for success to beat our opponents is sought after, at all cost, even to the exception of the constitution itself. It won't work. If you think we have a chance to beat Hillary by sitting on our hands and do nothing, you are sadly mistaken.

Carter, Clinton and Obama were elected by the female voters and they are lining up behind Hillary, but they won't when she has been implicated as a co-conspirator of treason and tyranny for her work in the State Department.

...

Objections to such a resolution stem from ignorance of the process or they are attempting to protect a few of our own republicans that have been co-conspirators in tyranny or treason. It only takes 1 Rep to put this in, 20 yes votes in the judiciary of which 23 are republicans and 218 yes votes on the floor of which we have 247 republicans. This public display of their behavior will emasculate both Obama and Hillary for all the world to see.

There are 48 articles of impeachment in this resolution and supporting documents for every one. Obama can do even greater damage in the next year and he most certainly will, as been evidenced in his gun executive orders and spying on congress.

There are two ways to lose a country. One is from outside forces and the other is from within via tyranny. Choose this day what you stand for, our future depends on it. Our voting base is watching and thus far, they don't like what they see.

As a former military officer, fighter pilot and state rep, I took the oath of office to defend the constitution against all enemies foreign and domestic, I hope by your vote today you do the same. Thank you."

Agema also suggested that Obama is a secret Muslim who “uses Taqiyya,” or an idea embraced among some Shiite Muslims that “a person who faces religious persecution can withhold the identity of their faith in order to avoid bodily harm or death.” Oddly, Agema thinks Obama is also aiding ISIS, which believes all Shiites should be put to death.

Now he talks about keeping us safe as he allows ISIS to enter via the refugee program and he weakens our military. He abuses the military with his useless ROE and our enemies do see our weakness. This guy is living in a bubble and is an excellent liar.

He claims he wants to go after terrorist networks, but doesn't allow our soldiers to utterly destroy them. He calls ISIS, ISIL which doesn't recognize Israel. I think Obama uses Taqiyya.

10,000 airstrikes with many coming back with their bombs and telling the enemy before he went after ISIS's oil trucks. What about Bengahzi [sic] that you allowed to occur whithout helping. Obama thinks he can solve the worlds [sic] problems. He causes them!

I cant [sic] watch anymore of this guys [sic] BS. Too many believe his lies based on a speech that is void of facts. For example, he claims to have stopped Iran from getting NUCs- [sic] he gave them $150 billion to complete their work with NUCs [sic]. I'm done- can't take it anymore!

Outside the meeting venue, Agema spoke with InfoWars reporter Joe Biggs about his claim that Michigan is on the verge of adopting Sharia law, asserting that judges already incorporate Sharia law in their rulings. He also alleged that refugees coming to the U.S. are waging “civilization jihad.”

Bryan Fischer Can't Stop Making Stuff Up

In a column this week defending Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the country, Bryan Fischer of American Family Radio insisted that Japan has issued similar restrictions on Muslims, and that is why the country doesn’t face terrorism:

There is a simple reason we never read about jihadi attacks in Japan. There are no Muslims there. No Muslims, no terrorists.

Dr. Mordechai Kedar, writing in The Jewish Press, offers some of the details (emphasis mine throughout):

This country keeps a very low profile on all levels regarding the Muslim matter: On the diplomatic level, senior political figures from Islamic countries almost never visit Japan, and Japanese leaders rarely visit Muslim countries. The relations with Muslim countries are based on concerns such as oil and gas, which Japan imports from some Muslim countries. The official policy of Japan is not to give citizenship to Muslims who come to Japan, and even permits for permanent residency are given sparingly to Muslims.

Islamic proselytization is forbidden in Japan, it is very difficult to import Qur’ans into the country, and there are very few mosques. In Japan, Muslim men are expected to pray at home, not in mosques or in the middle of the street as they do in France. Islamic organizations are not allowed, so the Japanese do not have to deal with the incessant stream of propaganda coming from pro-jihadi groups like CAIR. There is only one imam in Tokyo, a city of over 13 million people.

Virtually the only Muslims who are in Japan come as employees of foreign companies. And even that is the exception rather than the rule. “The official policy of the Japanese authorities is to make every effort not to allow entry to Muslims, even if they are physicians, engineers and managers sent by foreign companies that are active in the region.”

As the myth-busting website PolitiFact notes, the claim that Japan imposes special restrictions on Muslims emerged in a right-wing meme that consisted of nothing but false claims.

"The chain email is nothing but malicious falsehood," said Kumiko Yagi, a professor at the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies Graduate School who has written extensively about Islam and other religions.

Kamada Shigeru, a professor of Islamic studies at the University of Tokyo, agreed, saying that all four of the claims we spotlighted are wrong.

He said Japan doesn’t discriminate in permanent residency on the basis of religion and that "propagation" of Islam is not banned. He added that the Koran or other religious books in Arabic can be imported.

Meanwhile, there is nothing in Japanese nationality law that prevents Muslims from becoming naturalized citizens. The requirements concern length of residency, age, a history of "upright conduct," the ability to support oneself and a willingness to give up other nationalities. There is no mention of religion.

The graphic says that in Japan, "permanent residency is not given to Muslims," the "propagation of Islam" is banned, "one cannot import a Koran published in the Arabic language," and "Muslims cannot even rent a house."

Each of these four statements is incorrect, and the overall point of the graphic -- that Japan keeps itself free from radical Islam by discriminating against all Muslims -- is dramatically off-base. We rate these claims Pants on Fire.

Warren Throckmorton also points out that Japan’s own government claims that Muslims in Japan face less discrimination than they do in western nations.

In 2013, Fischer similarly relied on a right-wing meme to falsely claim that Japan has banned Muslims, the Quran, mosques and the teaching of Islam.

Apart from Fischer’s inaccurate description of Japan’s policies towards Islam, he also ignores the fact that Japan has indeed faced terrorist attacks ... but not from radical Muslims.

The extremist Aum Shinrikyo cult was behind a sarin attack on Tokyo’s subway system in 1995, an attack that “left 13 people dead, and more than 6,000 others suffering the effects of the nerve gas.” The group also conducted a deadly sarin gas attack in 1994.

The police found “hundreds of tons of chemicals in raids on Aum Shinri Kyo (Supreme Truth) doomsday cult,” including “extensive preparations for chemical and biological attacks.” The police also broke up other plots to conduct “guerrilla raids against parliament and prime minister's residence.” One subway cleaning woman later discovered bags in a subway station restroom with enough cyanide gas “to kill, in theory, 10,000 people.”

“Nearly 200 members of the cult were convicted in connection with the Tokyo sarin attack and a string of other terror attacks and assassinations,” the Huffington Post notes.

Japan also has a history of violent attacks from both far-left and far-right groups.

Perhaps Fischer may consider performing a simple Google search next time he wants to use his column to repeat right-wing myths.

Zmirak: Obama Wants Refugees To Destroy 'Middle Class, White, Christian America'

John Zmirak, a conservative writer and an editor of James Robison’s The Stream website, said in an interview with former Alaska GOP Senate candidate Joe Miller this week that President Obama wants to accept refugees from the Syrian civil war because he sees Muslims as “tools” to “destroy the middle class, white, Christian America that he has hated since his youth.”

Miller, appalled that the U.S. will still accept refugees after the terrorist attacks in Paris, asked Zmirak, “What’s going on with the administration, why aren’t they recognizing the danger?”

“Because Obama identifies with the Islamic world,” Zmirak responded. “He went to Islamic school, his political sympathies have always been with the so-called victims of colonialism in the Third World, and every one of his policies in foreign policy, as Dinesh D’Souza pointed out, can be explained by an attempt to de-westernize America and to weaken the West and to strengthen the Third World. It’s all in support of his postcolonial, quasi-Marxist agenda.”

“I don’t think Obama is a Muslim,” he clarified. “I don’t think he would be this brazen if he were a Muslim. He would be actually less brazenly pro-Muslim if he were really a Muslim, he’d be a little bit embarrassed. But because he’s an atheist Marxist, he can just see the Muslims as tools to be used to destroy the middle class, white, Christian America that he has hated since his youth.”

Today in New Hampshire, Donald Trump defended his proposal to ban Muslims from entering the country and blamed the massacre in Orlando on America’s immigration system, despite the fact that the shooter was born in the U.S. Trump repeated the bogus claim that Hillary Clinton will not only “ban guns” and begin “abolishing the Second Amendment,” but will also “bring vastly more radical Islamic immigration into this country.” “She wants to take away Americans’ guns and then admit the very people who want to slaughter us," he said. Walid Shoebat, a conservative activist and the father of unhinged anti-gay vlogger Theodore Shoebat, joined One America News Network’s Graham Ledger yesterday to discuss his completely evidence-free theory that the missing Malaysia Airlines flight and the Egypt Air flight that crashed en route from Paris to Cairo last week were both taken down by Muslim pilots intent on being martyrs to the faith. This all led Ledger to ask Shoebat if he would “get on a small airliner that’s based out of the Middle East.” Shoebat responded that even beyond that, he quit all air travel... MORE

Correction: We originally reported, based on a Politico article, that conservative activist David Horowitz had been tapped as a delegate for Donald Trump in California. A spokeswoman for the David Horowitz Freedom Center, however, tells us that contrary to the Politico report, if the David Horowitz listed as a Trump delegate is the same as the one who runs the Center it’s “news to him.” Horowitz has, however, urged conservatives to unify behind Trump now that he is the nominee. We’ve updated the post to reflect this. Conservative activist and author David Horowitz is... MORE

Ted Cruz’s national security adviser Jerry Boykin repeated roundly debunked internet-fueled rumors about “Sharia courts” in Texas and Michigan in a radio interview on Monday. Boykin, in an appearance on “Sandy Rios in the Morning,” alleged that agents of the Muslim Brotherhood are gaining influence in the U.S. government to further the Islamist group’s goal of “changing our culture in general and forcing us to essentially modify our own behavior in what I think is a dangerous way.” After alleging that Islamic law has gained a foothold in Europe... Ted Cruz’s national security adviser Frank Gaffney, a notorious anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist, has been urging members of Congress to refuse to meet with participants in today’s National Muslim Advocates Day, where Muslim-Americans around the country went to the U.S. Capitol to meet with their elected representatives and their staff. Gaffney claimed that the lobby day, a tactic used by various groups of all political stripes, was actually an effort to impose “Sharia inside our country.” And at least one official followed Gaffney’s advice and refused to meet... Last week, BuzzFeed released a story about how Muslims in Tennessee have faced a rash of threats, vandalism, hate crimes and, in at least one case, a firebombing. Buzzfeed notes that the state “became a key battleground in a national anti-Muslim movement whose influence has culminated, for now, in the presidential campaigns of Republican frontrunners Donald Trump and Ted Cruz, both of whom are being advised by people whose views on Islam were once considered too extreme for mainstream politics.” One of the advisers BuzzFeed mentions is Frank Gaffney, president of the Center for... Today on “Sandy Rios In The Morning,” Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy expressed outrage that the U.S. Council of Muslim Organizations has organized an “advocacy day” on Capitol Hill, despite the fact that groups across the political spectrum have organized similar lobby days where activists meet with lawmakers and congressional aides. The event page notes: USCMO’S advocacy day event will focus on promoting a legislative agenda in support of equality and social justice issues that will be of benefit to all Americans, regardless of faith or...
