Ann Coulter: Trump's Muslim Ban Was 'My Best Birthday Gift Ever!'

Ann Coulter is, unsurprisingly, one of the conservative activists most enthusiastic about Donald Trump’s call to ban all Muslims from entering the United States , telling Florida talk radio host Joyce Kaufman yesterday that Trump’s proposal was her “best birthday gift ever!”

Coulter was less impressed by the Republican “eunuchs” who came out to denounce Trump, including Mitt Romney, whom she had hoped would run for president on a joint ticket with Trump .

“The hysteria is amazing, and a lot of the hysteria is coming from our side,” she said. “I mean, I really do think Fox is terrified here, and, I hate to say it, my mild pal Romney has signed onto the denunciations of Trump; Dick Cheney; Paul Ryan; of course all these eunuchs running in the presidential race against Donald Trump.”

Kaufman, for her part, cited the internment of Japanese Americans as a positive precedent for Trump’s idea, saying, “They forget their history. I mean, they forget that Franklin Delano Roosevelt interred the Japanese. They forget that Jimmy ‘Hitler’ Carter made the Iranians, they were banned during the hostage crisis.”

The two, of course, could not resist also attacking immigrants from Mexico.

“I find this the same as not wanting drug cartels and coyotes taking over southwester parts of my country, which now have a drug culture which is killing a whole generation of American youth,” Kaufman said.

Coulter agreed, saying that “probably more Americans are killed by Mexicans” than by Muslims.

Coulter added that the people saying that Trump’s Muslim ban would be impossible to carry out are “the same people who said the exact same thing about building a wall” on the southern border.

“It is absolutely possible to not keep importing …more than 100,000 Muslims per year,” she said.

Pat Robertson: Islam Is Not A Religion But A Military Group 'Bent On World Domination'

Today on “The 700 Club,” televangelist Pat Robertson said that people should not view Islam as a religious faith since it is a “political system masquerading as a religion” and is really “an aggressive, military, disciplined” group “bent on world domination.”

“It isn’t a ‘religion’ as such,” he said, claiming that unlike Christianity, Islam is obsessed with violently converting people throughout the world.

“We’re not dealing with a religion,” Robertson continued. “People say, ‘Oh, it’s just terrible, you shouldn’t discriminate one religion versus the other.’ Well, yes you can if one religion is actually a political system that is intent on dominating you and killing you. Christianity isn’t intent on dominating and killing you, it just isn’t.”

He said more people would agree with him once we start “telling it like it is.”

Tim Wildmon: People Think Obama's A Muslim Because He 'Identifies More With Islam Than Any Other Religion'

In a column for the Northeast Mississippi Daily Journal on Sunday, American Family Association president Tim Wildmon speculated that a large number of Americans believe that President Obama is secretly a Muslim because “he is always so sensitive about criticism of Islam” and “clearly … identifies more with Islam than any other religion ‘for all practical purposes.’” This, Wildmon wrote, explains why the president “defends Islam any chance he gets.”

Wildmon went on to warn readers to be wary of their Muslim neighbors because terrorists “often blend into western countries well because an essential part of jihad is to deceive the infidels into believing you are a ‘nice guy’ until the day you are ready to strike.”

Given this strategy, he asked, “how in the world are Americans supposed to tell the good Muslims from the bad Muslims?”

According to a September CNN poll, 29 percent of the general American public believes that he is. Every time there is an act of Islamic jihad like in San Bernardino, California, this week and Obama pretends there is no connection to Islam and terrorism it only causes more people to consider this possibility.

Why he is always so sensitive about criticism of Islam? My view is clearly Obama identifies more with Islam than any other religion “for all practical purposes.” This would explain why he defends Islam any chance he gets. In fact, there were news reports on Thursday that his administration was putting pressure on the FBI not to label what happened in California “terrorism” despite all the evidence mounting that points to the fact that it was. Evidence like building bombs in their garage, subscribing to jihadi materials, etc.

It bears repeating that while all Muslims are not terrorists, almost without exception all the terrorists are Muslims. Why is that? There is rarely any context given to what is going on with the jihad movement wreaking havoc around the world. The news media just moves from one attack to the next. Many westerners are ignorant of why these people continue to do what they do. And if they are indeed perverting Islam – and Obama and others say that they are – then tell us exactly how and call on the true Islamic leaders and countries of the world to please stand up and join those of us trying to defeat these “radicals.” I’ve not heard Obama one time call for Muslim leaders to take the lead on confronting this ideology that has “hijacked” their religion.

Those committed to Islamic jihad are not crazy people and they often blend into western countries well because an essential part of jihad is to deceive the infidels into believing you are a “nice guy” until the day you are ready to strike. That is what happened with Farook. In fact, the L.A. Times interviewed some who worked with him and here is what they wrote: “Co-workers told The Times they were shocked to hear Farook’s name linked to the shooting. Two who were in the restroom when the bullets began to fly said he was quiet and polite, with no obvious grudges.” They also described him as “very religious.”

So given how these jihadists operate, as we saw in Boston, Chattanooga and other places – how in the world are Americans supposed to tell the good Muslims from the bad Muslims?

Maybe President Obama will call a conference of world-wide leaders to condemn jihad and hold the event in Mecca. He just did that in Paris to combat climate change. Maybe he will do that and rally the Islamic world to fight this jihadi ideology within its own societies. Yeah. Maybe…

Right-Wing Activists Praise Trump's Plan To Ban Muslim Immigration

Frank Gaffney of the Center for Security Policy, the group who put out the bogus poll of Muslim-American views that was cited by Donald Trump in his press release calling for a ban Muslim immigration, appeared on Breitbart’s Sirius XM radio show today to defend Trump’s proposal.

Gaffney, like Trump, promotes birther conspiracy theories along with bizarre claims that Muslim Brotherhood and Sharia law advocates are taking over the U.S. government and both political parties, touted his poll as “an insight into how the Muslims that we polled felt and it’s worrisome.”

“Fortunately, Donald Trump, like you, I’m not endorsing him, I’m not speaking of his fitness, I’m just saying that in response to events that have taken place in this country and elsewhere in recent months has recognized what I think most Americans recognize, that we don’t actually want more jihadists in this country,” he said, insisting that Americans “don’t think augmenting them willy-nilly in the name of some kind of sense that they are entitled to come here is a sound policy.”

He continued: “We have called for a moratorium on the introduction of still more Muslims, particularly from countries with a tradition of Islamic supremacism.”

Gaffney wasn’t alone. Fox News pundit Todd Starnes also defend the GOP presidential front-runner plan:

Ann Coulter joined in on the fun:

As did David Brody of the Christian Broadcasting Network, who lauded Trump’s courage:

American Family Radio host Bryan Fischer said Trump is merely advocating what he called for years ago:

Conservative columnist Diana West called it a “perfect” plan:

John Nolte of Breitbart offered a more unusual defense:

Rick Santorum Has A 'More Practical Way' Than Trump To Ban 'A Lot Of' Muslims

Rick Santorum reacted today to Donald Trump’s call for banning all Muslims from entering the country by insisting that he has “a more practical way than the way Donald Trump is suggesting” to ban not all Muslims, “but a lot of them.”

Santorum told Stephen Bannon on the SiriusXM program “Breitbart News Daily” this morning that he has “proposed actual concrete things in our immigration law that would have not the effect of banning all Muslims, but a lot of them.”

“We start changing our immigration laws, we can deal with this problem,” he said. “I think the way Trump has proposed it, it may have some constitutional infirmity. We can do it in a more practical way than the way that Donald Trump is suggesting.”

Santorum also told Bannon that while he is considered an “enemy of ISIS,” the terrorist group doesn’t “call President Obama an enemy” because he “creates the false narrative which allows ISIS to survive.”

“The reason they called me an enemy was because I identified them accurately and said why they had to be defeated, just like I explained to you,” he said. “To them, that made me an enemy, because I was someone out there telling the truth which will, if the American public and the West would believe it, would lead to the destruction of ISIS. They don’t call President Obama an enemy because President Obama creates the obfuscation, creates the false narrative which allows ISIS to survive.”

“They’re very happy that the president’s out there trying to convince the Muslim world that they’re illegitimate,” he added.

Santorum told Newsmax TV yesterday that ISIS in fact sees Obama “as an ally.” ISIS, however, does not seem to agree with this view.

Trump: Ban Muslim Immigration To Make America Great Again

After floating the idea of mosque closures, being open to a government database to track all Muslims and making false claims about Muslim-Americans celebrating the 9/11 attacks, Donald Trump is now calling for a sweeping ban on all Muslim immigration to the U.S. Trump proposed the immigration ban in a press statement today, claiming that Muslims harbor a “hatred” of America and of human life.

To back up this assertion, Trump cited an unscientific online poll from the Center for Security Policy, a radical group led by conspiracy theorist Frank Gaffney, that the group claimed demonstrated anti-American views among American Muslims. Experts have dismissed the poll as significantly flawed and dishonest.

While Trump’s statement implies that he is interested in “preventing Muslim immigration,” his new plan may even bar tourism as it calls for the “total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country’s representatives can figure out what is going on.”

His campaign manager Corey Lewandoski told the AP that Muslim tourists would also be barred from entering the country.

Trump’s GOP presidential rival Rand Paul made a similar suggestion on Glenn Beck’s program today, saying that “until we have a better handle on who is already here and whether the people here are obeying our laws, I’d just stop immigration from the Middle East.” Paul also called for increased scrutiny from European travelers because too many people who live in the continent are “against Western civilization.”

Don Feder: We Need 'Islam Control' Not Gun Control

Conservative media consultant Don Feder, who among his projects serves as a spokesman for the World Congress of Families, wrote on his GrasstopsUSA website today that instead of calling for tighter gun laws in response to the recent mass shooting in San Bernardino, California, President Obama should have “called for bi-partisan Islam control.”

This “Islam control,” Feder writes, would include banning Syrian refugees from the U.S., accepting only Christian refugees in the future, requiring the FBI to “stake out every mosque in the country” and demanding that every national security official be personally approved by John Bolton, Dick Cheney and anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney:

Instead of targeting gun owners, try to imagine Obama saying that San Bernardino shows the need for "bi-partisan support for Muslim control." After it stopped foaming at the mouth, the Committee on American Islamic Relations would have called it racist and paranoid, and not at all nice. The suggestion would have been condemned by every Democratic presidential candidate. And the Norwegian Nobel Committee would have taken back Obama's Peace Prize.

How would Islam control work?

• The administration would cancel plans to bring 85,000 Syrian refugees to America, in the calendar year that began on October 1, including many jihadi sleepers.

• Potential refugees would have to pass a religious test (Christians yes, Muslims, no) which Obama recently condemned as "un-American."

• The FBI would stake out every mosque in the country. According to a random survey of 100 U.S. mosques, undertaken by the Mapping Sharia In America Project, three in four either had imams who preached holy war or jihadist literature on the site.

• National Security officials would be screened by a panel composed of former UN Ambassador John Bolton, former Vice President Dick Cheney and Frank Gaffney, head of the Center for Security Policy. Then we wouldn't end up with the politically lobotomized, like Obama's ISIS Czar Robert Malley, who in a 2010 documentary suggested that Hamas was basically the Palestinian equivalent of the Salvation Army.

Feder also gloats that he knew immediately that the perpetrators of the San Bernardino shooting were Muslim because of the U.S. mass shootings with multiple gunmen in the last 15 years, only two have been “committed by non-Muslims.” He doesn’t mention that there have been only three such incidents in that time period.

How did I know San Bernardino was another episode of the Wonderful World of Jihad when only the bare facts were known? Because it had the earmarks. Guess how many mass shootings in the United States in the last 15 years involving more than one gunman were committed by non-Muslims? Exactly two — including Columbine.

WorldNetDaily Pundit: 'Bomb Mecca Off The Face Of The Earth'

WorldNetDaily columnist Burt Prelutsky writes today that he has an ingenious but “politically incorrect suggestion” of how to defeat ISIS, namely that the U.S. “bomb Mecca off the face of the earth, not concerning ourselves in the least with collateral damage, letting the Muslims know once and for all that our God is far more powerful and, yes, vengeful than their own puny deity.”

According to Prelutsky, it’s time to realize that Muslims are “savages” and there’s no way we “can re-educate Muslims or show them a better way to live.”

“I, for one, am sick and tired of seeing the Islamic bullies demand our lunch money and, like a bunch of scrawny wimps afraid of our own shadow, we hand it over,” he writes. “What’s even more appalling, we then pretend we did it because we’re good guys who realized that they’re human beings just like us, and who just happen to be a little bit hungrier than we are.”

One American president after another has described Islam as a religion of peace, and Barack Obama has gone so far as to claim that Muslims helped create America and also played a major role in space exploration, although both claims are as false as his vow that we could keep our doctors and our insurance plans if we liked them. Islam was never peaceful. From the very beginning, those who refused to accept Shariah law and to bow down to Mecca were killed.

Unlike Christianity which says that we should treat others as we would wish to be treated, to love our neighbors as ourselves and to be our brother’s keeper, Islam’s message is a threat: Convert or perish.

Whenever I see the so-called Muslim moderate Dr. Zuhdi Jasser show up on Fox, I am reminded of the well-dressed, well-spoken representatives of CAIR, the terrorist organization that attempts to pass itself off as a benevolent society, as if it were the Islamic equivalent of the Shriners.

Dr. Jasser keeps telling us that Islam is a wonderful religion that has been hijacked by a handful of thugs. Inasmuch as they have committed countless atrocities in the name of Allah in Spain, France, Egypt, England, Russia, Israel, Syria, Iraq, Java, Yemen, the Philippines, Lebanon, China, Austria, Italy, Argentina, India, Kuwait, Scotland, Japan and the U.S., that is some handful.

Those like Dr. Jasser who talk about their wonderful religion having been hijacked are lying through their teeth. Suggesting that there is nothing wrong with a religion whose Quran is a handbook for terrorism is reminiscent of those fools who keep insisting that communism is perfect, and that the only problem with it is that it’s never been done right, whether in China, the Soviet Union, Cuba, Venezuela, Mongolia or North Korea. Believe in Marx’s utopia, the idiots insist, not your own eyes.

My own politically incorrect suggestion is that we remove ISIS from the face of the earth, hopefully as a joint effort with every other nation it has threatened or attacked, and that we then bomb Mecca off the face of the earth, not concerning ourselves in the least with collateral damage, letting the Muslims know once and for all that our God is far more powerful and, yes, vengeful than their own puny deity.

It’s harsh, but they’ve been asking for it for over 1,400 years, and it’s time they got it. I, for one, am sick and tired of seeing the Islamic bullies demand our lunch money and, like a bunch of scrawny wimps afraid of our own shadow, we hand it over. What’s even more appalling, we then pretend we did it because we’re good guys who realized that they’re human beings just like us, and who just happen to be a little bit hungrier than we are.

The notion that we in the West can re-educate Muslims or show them a better way to live by our example is foolish in the extreme. It’s not just our movies or our music or the fact that we live in a post-ninth century world that they hate. It’s our art, our culture, our technology, our Judeo-Christian values, our tolerance, our treatment of women, even, for all I know, our love of dogs.

The idea that we can civilize these savages is beyond ludicrous.

It would be easier to domesticate snakes and raise them for their milk.

WND Pundit: Ban Muslims From Public Office

WorldNetDaily columnist Lord Christopher Monckton suggested yesterday that in response to the Paris terrorist attacks, the U.S. should consider prohibiting Muslims from holding public office “on grounds of a grievous and life-threatening conflict of interest.”

According to Monckton, this ban will include President Obama. While the Constitution prohibits such a religious test, Monckton says that people should weigh “whether we should any long regard Islam as a religion at all.”

“For while one may tolerate another’s religion, if that ‘religion’ increasingly seems to be the wellspring of terrorism, and if that ‘religion’s’ leaders say and do nothing to deter the terrorists, and if that ‘religion’s’ adherents, such as Mr. Obama, are also sullenly silent, then perhaps, after all, it is Islam itself that should no longer be tolerated,” he wrote.

Monckton claims that Obama is trying to distract people from the problem of terrorist attacks not only because he’s a secret Muslim but also in order to push policies combatting climate change, which Monckton says is “a pretext for inflicting totalitarian control on those who would prefer to be free.”

As usual, there has been near-total silence from those Islamic mullahs who, we are told, are “moderates.” It is their silence that is leading me, among others, to wonder whether we should any longer regard Islam as a religion at all.

And that is a shame: for it was the formidable scholarship of Islam, in the Damascus and Baghdad of the 9th to the 12th centuries, that kept civilization alive while Christian Europe was in the intellectual doldrums of the Dark Ages. Also, Islam upholds some of the Christian teachings – on abortion and homosexuality, for instance – that Christian bishops nowadays seem too politically correct to defend.

However, the conclusion can no longer be avoided: Today, except perhaps in the Ahmadiyya sect, there is no such thing as moderate Islam. And even the Ahmadiyya Muslims seem not to have spoken out in condemnation of the latest atrocity perpetrated in the name of Allah.

What does the “leader” of the free world have to say about these events? Mr. Obama made the usual ritualistic noises of outrage, but at no time did he mention the inconvenient truth that the terrorism that destroyed 3,000 of his fellow citizens in New York in 2001, and that has been responsible for numerous outrages before and since, is Islamic.

Instead, Mr. Obama has said, over and over again, that global warming is a greater threat than terrorism. He began saying this in January 2008, during a campaign speech, when he asserted that the “immediate danger” from oil-funded terrorism “is eclipsed only by the long-term threat from climate change, which will lead to devastating weather patterns, terrible storms, drought, and famine.”

Why, then, does Mr. Obama state, over and over again, that non-existent global warming is a greater threat than Islamic terror? One reason is that the eco-fascists, like their predecessors in Nazi Germany, have adopted environmentalism as a pretext for inflicting totalitarian control on those who would prefer to be free.

They clambered on to the bandwagon without checking the science first. They did not care whether the small clique of fellow-extremists in academia who fabricated the global-warming scare were right. All they cared about was the opportunity to set up a global new world order, the most conspicuous feature of which is that none of its leaders will be elected.

As for Mr. Obama, who is on record as having spoken of “my Muslim faith,” he must redeem his failing “presidency” by making it quite clear that he is not a terrorist sympathizer. He is, of course, entitled to his “Muslim faith,” for your nation was born of a desire to replace the Catholic and then Protestant intolerance of Europe with a more open-minded approach to other people’s faith.

Yet a true leader has to get his priorities right. And Mr. Obama’s whining about the non-threat of global warming and his culpable silence on the fact that people who call themselves Muslims are responsible for nearly all terrorist acts around the world are no longer acceptable.

For while one may tolerate another’s religion, if that “religion” increasingly seems to be the wellspring of terrorism, and if that “religion’s” leaders say and do nothing to deter the terrorists, and if that “religion’s” adherents, such as Mr. Obama, are also sullenly silent, then perhaps, after all, it is Islam itself that should no longer be tolerated.

Perhaps Mr. Obama and others who share his Muslim faith should be debarred from holding any public office on grounds of a grievous and life-threatening conflict of interest. To be silent in the face of Islamic terror is to be a sympathizer with that terror.

Right-Wing Pundit: Muslim Refugees Are 'Human Garbage'

WorldNetDaily pundit Erik Rush is no stranger to making genocidal statements about Muslims, so it was no surprise to see him refer to Muslim refugees as “human garbage” and “a demonstrable threat to public health and public safety” in a column yesterday.

After kicking off his weekly WorldNetDaily column, titled “Islam: A Treatable Malignancy,” by saying that ISIS is “Barack Hussein’s Obama’s mercenary army,” Rush accused the president of “inundating America with Muslims” as just “one component in his grand plan of sabotage” against America.

He wrote that people should try to “neutralize this threat with every means at their disposal,” claiming that all Muslims, including children, are a danger to society and should be stripped of their First Amendment rights.

“Muslims — all Muslims — have repeatedly proved that they represent a societal malignancy,” Rush wrote, “they will always perform as a body of enemy operatives, insidiously and incrementally worming their way into non-Muslim nations with the express intention of undermining and conquering them. Every individual has a part to play in this tragic comedy, from the helpless baby to the trained combatant.”

Although average American news viewers remain blissfully ignorant of this, Europeans have been turning out by the thousands in protest of their governments’ intention to throw the doors open wide to innumerable Muslim refugees from regions in which Barack Hussein Obama’s mercenary army (otherwise known as ISIS or Islamic State) and other militant Islamists have made life as they know it untenable.

The ire of these distressed Europeans is certainly not for a lack of tolerance. They have already been subjected to exponentially more tribulation than have Americans as a result of the human garbage with which their politically correct socialist overlords have saddled them over the last 30 years. These new refugees have already proved to be a demonstrable threat to public health and public safety, and have touched off several particularly violent riots.

Regular readers will take it as given that Barack Hussein Obama’s design of inundating America with Muslims is but one component in his grand plan of sabotage, and that he is also doing the bidding of malignant globalist interests that have long wished to see America brought low.

Regardless of what history’s disposition concerning Obama, his co-conspirators and the Washington corruptocrats we know so well will ultimately be, the most expeditious manner in which America can counter the Islamist threat is through grass-roots efforts that serve to enlighten Americans as to the incompatibility of Islam with our society and the immediate danger it represents. Having accomplished that, it will be far easier for us to collectively acknowledge that Islam is not a religion, but a pernicious political system with a religious component. Thus, its adherents will find themselves bereft of the First Amendment protections they and their brainwashed advocates are opportunistically exploiting to compromise American society.

Given the spirit of inclusion America has always exhibited (human imperfections aside), of course it will be difficult for many of our citizens to consign an entire class of people to the status of persona non grata. For the past 1,400 years however, Muslims – all Muslims – have repeatedly proved that they represent a societal malignancy; they will always perform as a body of enemy operatives, insidiously and incrementally worming their way into non-Muslim nations with the express intention of undermining and conquering them. Every individual has a part to play in this tragic comedy, from the helpless baby to the trained combatant.

When the Muslim population finds its numbers sufficient, for the non-Muslim it’s either conversion, death, or an indentured status. Prior to such a time, it is the duty of non-Muslims to take up the mantle of “infidel” with pride and neutralize this threat with every means at their disposal.

Bryan Fischer Enthusiastically Backs Trump On Mosque Closures

Yesterday, Donald Trump told Fox Business Channel that he would “ absolutely” support shutting down mosques in America in order to fight ISIS, so naturally American Family Radio’s Bryan Fischer came to the Republican presidential candidate’s defense today, repeating his frequent assertion that the First Amendment applies only to Christians.

“So the question is, can you close down a mosque in the United States of America given the First Amendment and its guarantee of the free exercise of religion,” Fischer said, “and the answer is that you absolutely can. Yes, Donald, yes, Virginia, we can constitutionally close down mosques in the United States of America.”

This is, he explained, because “the only religious tradition that is being explicitly and expressly protected in the First Amendment is the free exercise of the Christian religion.”

Ted Cruz: Obama 'Radical And A Zealot' For Welcoming Refugees 'Coming Here To Commit Jihad'

Sen. Ted Cruz told conservative Iowa talk radio host Jan Mickelson yesterday that if he is elected president, “one of the things that will stop immediately” are efforts to resettle some of the millions of refugees fleeing Syria’s civil war.

“President Obama’s proposal to bring in tens of thousands of Muslim Syrian refugees makes no sense and I think it’s crazy,” the Texas Republican said, falsely conflating the refugees who are travelling to Europe with those who would be resettled in the U.S. and ignoring the intensive screening process for refugees.

“It is lunacy for President Obama to be bringing people into this country who are coming here to commit jihad to murder innocent Americans,” Cruz said in the interview, which was first flagged by Buzzfeed's Andrew Kaczynski and Megan Apper. “It doesn’t make any sense and, sadly, it’s the result of the ideological extremism of this president and his unwillingness to protect our national security.”

“The real solution here is electing a new president,” he added, “because, unfortunately, there are consequences when you elect a commander in chief who is a radical and a zealot and is undermining our country.”

Later in the interview, Cruz implied that he would support taking only Christian refugees because Syrian Muslims would “put at jeopardy the safety and security of Americans.”

Pamela Geller: 'Jihadi In The White House' Is 'The Most Dangerous Man In The World'

Anti-Muslim activist Pamela Geller warned yesterday that President Obama is planning to grant asylum to 10,000 of the millions of refugees fleeing Syria’s civil war because he is a “jihadi” and a “tyrant” who is leading a “government at war with its own people.”

Florida conservative radio host Joyce Kaufman asked Geller in an interview about a report from Fox News’ Monica Crowley in which she claimed that Europe is experiencing an “invasion” of “fighting-age males.” While the majority of asylum seekers in Europe are male — many have made dangerous sea journeys to reach the continent — the U.S. will be resettling refugees who are currently living in camps, giving priority to “people with serious medical conditions, children and teens on their own, and women and children at risk," according to an Amnesty International expert who spoke with Politifact.

“It’s an army,” Geller agreed. “The majority are young, fit and male. Four out of five are not from Syria. Why not go to a country where they speak the language and have the same culture? Why wouldn’t they go to Muslim countries?”

“Why is this being dumped on Europe?” she asked. “Because ISIS warned …that they intended to send an army of ISIS operatives in a migration to Europe.”

“And then you have that jihadi in the White House saying that he’s going to take, you know to ‘offer assistance,’ hundreds of thousands in,” she continued. “Well, does Europe offer assistance to us and take in Mexicans and Central Americans? He is the most dangerous man in the world, because he has the most power and he is the leader of the free world and he is aiding and abetting the global jihad movement at every turn, every turn.”

Geller added that the “tyrant” Obama is “dumping these communities from jihad nations” in American cities. “This is a government at war with its own people,” she said.

Kaufman didn’t want to stop there. “Forget about some of these scary-looking men,” the radio host said, “here we are in Broward County, where they’re dumping families and now we have to have Arabic translators in elementary schools, we have a number of new families on food stamps and housing assistance and certainly you can’t get a job if you can’t speak English and you have five kids you’ve got to raise. And I’m looking at this situation, so, even if they don’t send in a jihadi soldier, they’re sending me families of these jihadi soldiers so I can raise them.”

“Well, that’s Al Hijra, that’s the immigration jihad,” Geller agreed.

GOP Candidates' Favorite Anti-Muslim Activist Interviews Prominent White Nationalist

The Center for Security Policy, the anti-immigrant, anti-Muslim organization run by former Reagan administration official Frank Gaffney has a comfortable place in Republican politics.

Republican presidential candidates Ben Carson, Donald Trump, Mike Huckabee, Rick Santorum, Bobby Jindal and Ted Cruz, have all spoken at at least one CSP event, as have a number of prominent conservative activists. Former Vice President Dick Cheney has accepted an award from the group. Just this month, Gaffney cosponsored a rally against the Iran nuclear deal that was headlined by Trump, Cruz, Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin. Carson appeared on his radio program this month; Cruz, Jindal and Rand Paul have joined the program in the past.

This is all despite Gaffney’s long track record of pushing outrageous conspiracy theories , including birther and “secret Muslim” theories about President Obama, panic about Sharia law coming to the United States, and embarrassing campaigns against people he thinks are infiltrating the American government or the GOP or the NRA or CPAC on behalf of the Muslim Brotherhood.

And then there’s this: As the Southern Poverty Law Center spotted, Gaffney invited Jared Taylor, one of the most well-known white nationalists in the country, to speak on his “Secure Freedom Radio” program yesterday and took trouble to tell Taylor that he “appreciated tremendously” Taylor’s work at his racist publication American Renaissance, which Gaffney called “wonderful.”

The two discussed their aversion to the Syrian refugees fleeing to Europe. Gaffney asked Taylor, according to SPLC’s transcript:

At some point there will be a very vigorous resistance to the infusion into these countries of large numbers of people who don’t assimilate, many of them Muslim who bring with them a Sharia ideological program that is antithetical to the culture and civilization and polities of European nations. Do you anticipate, as we’re seeing now evidence of increasing violence, notably against women, on the part of these refugees, not all of them by any means but some, rapes now becoming a serious problem in some of the refugee holding areas, and demonstrations and in some cases worse that are breaking out in various parts of Europe when they’re not accommodated to their satisfaction, that you may see in fact Europe devolving once again into the types of cataclysms that it has from time immemorial with, you know, blood letting taking place. Is that overreaching at this point or perhaps just a distant possibility?

Taylor responded:

We have unleashed now what would not be an exaggeration to call almost demonic forces. We have close to a million now of these so-called refugees, most of whom are young men. They are young, single men. Most of whom have never seen a woman in a bikini in their lives. Most of them are part of, as you say, this Sharia culture that despises any woman who walks around with her face uncovered, with her legs bare. These people are going to be all sorts of trouble for Europe for many, many years to come.

Taylor is an unapologetically racist activist. He has written that "Blacks and whites are different. When blacks are left entirely to their own devices, Western civilization — any kind of civilization — disappears"; he has urged white people to “rekindle” their “instinctive preference for their own people and culture.” Taylor has been active in the effort to build alliances between American white nationalists and the European far-right, participating in a meeting in Budapest last year, where he told his “European brothers” that “the genetic and cultural effect of alien immigration is no different from armed invasion.”

While Taylor is largely shunned by mainstream right-wing circles, he has expressed an affinity for Donald Trump, telling the New Yorker that “I’m sure he would repudiate any association with people like me, but his support comes from people who are more like me than he might like to admit.”

When Media Matters asked Gaffney to explain his interview with Taylor, CSP sent them a statement claiming that Gaffney invited Taylor exclusively to discuss refugee policy and “was unfamiliar with Mr. Taylor's views on other matters and did not discuss or endorse them.” The group did not explain how Gaffney was able to lavish praise on American Renaissance without being familiar with its contents.

While Gaffney’s already lengthy record of extremism hasn’t yet caused major GOP figures to distance themselves from him, Gaffney’s decision to elevate Taylor and his work should cause him to lose all credibility among candidates and officials who wish to be taken seriously in the future.

UPDATE: In a statement on the Center for Security Policy's website, the group says that Gaffney's compliments to Taylor were "routine" and that if he had done his "due diligence" before the interview, he would not have invited Taylor as a guest:

Yesterday’s program included a conversation with Jared Taylor concerning a recent article by him addressing the dire implications for Europe, its people and civilization of large numbers of migrants from nations in which shariah-adherence is the norm.  The host was unfamiliar with Mr. Taylor’s views on other matters and did not discuss or endorse them.

Subsequently, Mr. Gaffney had a chance to examine those views and the American Renaissance website on which they appear. There is much there with which he strongly disagrees.  Had due diligence been done beforehand, such disagreements would have resulted in Mr. Taylor not being invited on the show, routine compliments to such guests not made and an offer to appear again not extended.

UPDATE II: CSP has removed the interview with Taylor from its website.

Tony Perkins Agrees With Caller Worrying That Ahmed Mohamed Could Blow Up The White House

On Monday’s edition of “Washington Watch,” Family Research Council president and self-styled religious liberty champion Tony Perkins tried to make the case that Islam is not protected under the U.S. Constitution.

After insisting that Islam should not be considered a religion deserving of the same protections as Christianity, Perkins addressed the arrest of Texas teenager Ahmed Mohamed for bringing a homemade clock to school.

Perkins said that President Obama’s supportive tweet about the case showed that the president is trying to “vilify authorities” while “trying to placate an ethnic group in this country that has been associated with terrorist activities.” (Among the many things wrong with this statement is the fact that Islam is not an ethnicity.)

“Often times, and I’m not saying that this is the case with Ahmed in Irving, Texas, I am just saying that this is how they operate, is that you will sometimes see terrorists come in and do a dry run to see where the security lapses are and what the responses are and they will just test the systems, again I’m not saying what happened here, but it could have been and you wouldn’t know unless you began asking questions and you began to investigate,” he later said.

A caller, Michael, then chimed in with various scenarios about the student, including one suggestion that Ahmed could actually have been plotting to get the White House invitation so he could then blow it up: “This child’s dad ran for the president of Sudan twice, and we know how Sudan is. Here in America, now we know that the radical Muslims, they’ll tie explosives to the kids, so what makes us think that they didn’t come do this? We’ve got a president that invites this child, and I’ve got nothing against this kid, the president invites him to our White House, now what if, let’s just say for example, what if this child is carrying a bomb? Is it still smart?”

“I agree one hundred percent with your analysis,” Perkins said.

Brigitte Gabriel: Refugee Crisis Part Of Obama's 'Plan' To 'Intermingle America'

Conservative pundit and short-lived Republican presidential candidate Dennis Michael Lynch guest-hosted Steve Malzberg’s Newsmax TV show yesterday, where he invited ACT! for America’s Brigitte Gabriel to discuss her efforts to keep the U.S. from resettling refugees from Syria’s civil war.

Gabriel, who will be speaking alongside several GOP presidential candidates at this week’s Values Voter Summit, claimed that Muslim refugees currently in the country “are not assimilating because they have a different value system,” which “will prevent them from assimilating no matter how long they stay in our country.”

“They are coming to your neighborhood,” she warned, “they are coming to your state, you need to know who’s coming and how many of them are coming and whether you can stop it.”

Lynch then asked Gabriel about his theory that President Obama is intentionally allowing ISIS to gain territory in order to cause a refugee crisis that will in turn “transform” America.

“He said he was going to fundamentally transform America,” Lynch said. “I’ve always believed he was going to do it through immigration. There is a part of me that believes he did not want to take out ISIS, he does not want to take out ISIS, because it creates an incredible refugee issue. … Do you think this is all part of his plan?”

“Yes it is,” Gabriel agreed, “and he is already partly changing America because that’s his values. He does not believe in American exceptionalism, he believes that America has to be on par with the rest of the world and therefore we are all one, and that’s why he wants to intermingle America, to have a population of every corner of the world, whether or not they are equal to us or not.”

Santorum Agrees With Carson: A 'Devout Muslim' Shouldn't Be Elected President

Rick Santorum agreed with this GOP presidential rival Ben Carson yesterday that a Muslim should not be elected president, explaining that while “of course a Muslim could be elected president” because the Constitution bars religious tests for public office, “a devout Muslim who believes in the totality of Islam” shouldn’t be elected president because Islam is “both a political doctrine and a religious doctrine.”

Santorum told Iowa talk radio host Jan Mickelson that Carson “was not clear in what he was articulating” but that he agreed with his essential point.

“What he was saying is, is a devout Muslim who believes in the totality of Islam — which is both a political doctrine and a religious doctrine, which means Sharia law — can a devout Muslim who believes in Sharia law, should that person be elected president?” Santorum said. “Well, the answer is no, they shouldn’t, because that belief structure is antithetical — and, by the way, they wouldn’t be elected president.”

“I would have said, could a Muslim be elected president? Of course a Muslim could be elected president,” he continued, “we can’t bar someone from a certain religion from being elected president. Is a Muslim who believes strictly in the adherence of Sharia law be elected president? I would oppose them for electing president, and I think most Americans would too.”

Tony Perkins: No Religious Liberty For Muslims; Islam 'Incompatible With Constitution'

Tony Perkins styles his group, the Family Research Council, as America’s premier defender of religious liberty … even though Perkins himself opposes religious freedom for Muslim-Americans (and perhaps even liberal Christians) and FRC’s vice president has proposed banning mosques and stripping Muslim-Americans of their First Amendment rights.

On his “Washington Watch” radio program yesterday, Perkins repeated his claim that Islam is not protected under the U.S. Constitution.

While discussing GOP presidential candidate Ben Carson’s recent statement that he would never support a Muslim candidate for president, along with the claims of Kim Davis’ critics that a clerk would never receive such praise from the Religious Right had she been a Muslim, Perkins railed against media commentators for “interjecting” Islam “into all of these discussions.” He said that the media is using Islam as a “wedge” to divide conservatives, suggesting that Kim Davis’ decision to impose her Christian beliefs onto her county office was different because Islam is not protected in the Constitution, while Christianity is.

“Religious freedom and our liberty is ordered liberty under the Constitution,” Perkins said. “And as Dr. Carson pointed out, and I know this is driving the left crazy, that Islam is not just a religion, Islam is an economic system, it is a judicial system, it is a compressive system which is incompatible with the Constitution. That’s what Dr. Carson said and he happens to be correct.”

Perkins said that the country is under no obligation to provide legal protections for people “who want to blow — I mean, when was the last time you saw a Baptist trying to blow something up?”

This may surprise Thomas Jefferson, the author of the First Amendment, who made clear while discussing a bill in Virginia that religious freedom protects Muslims and other non-Christians:

Where the preamble declares, that coercion is a departure from the plan of the holy author of our religion, an amendment was proposed, by inserting the word "Jesus Christ," so that it should read, "a departure from the plan of Jesus Christ, the holy author of our religion;" the insertion was rejected by a great majority, in proof that they meant to comprehend, within the mantle of its protection, the Jew and the Gentile, the Christian and Mahometan, the Hindoo, and Infidel of every denomination.

Perkins’ remarks also go up against the Treaty of Tripoli, which was negotiated under George Washington, signed by John Adams and approved unanimously by the U.S. Senate in 1797.

As the Government of the United States of America is not, in any sense, founded on the Christian religion,—as it has in itself no character of enmity against the laws, religion, or tranquility, of Mussulmen,—and as the said States never entered into any war or act of hostility against any Mahometan nation, it is declared by the parties that no pretext arising from religious opinions shall ever produce an interruption of the harmony existing between the two countries.

The only thing Perkins’ remarks truly reveal is that the Family Research Council is more interested in promoting bigoted attacks on minority rights than actually protecting religious freedom.

Muslim Student Arrested For Making A Clock Lives In Hotbed Of Sharia Panic

Earlier this week, 14-year-old Ahmed Mohamed of Irving, Texas, brought a digital clock he made from a pencil case to his school. He brought the clock to show off to his teachers, but instead of receiving encouragement, Mohamed’s school day ended in handcuffs and with the threat of being charged with making a “hoax bomb.” While many have condemned the actions of the school officials and law enforcement, Irving Mayor Beth Van Duyne has come out in defense of the decision to arrest the teenage boy.

In a Facebook post today, Van Duyne wrote, “I do not fault the school or the police for looking into what they saw as a potential threat. . . We have all seen terrible and violent acts committed in schools, the workplace, and in public venues. Perhaps some of those could have been prevented and lives could have been spared if people were more vigilant. I hope this incident does not serve as a deterrent against our police and school personnel from maintaining the safety and security of our schools.” The mayor later edited her post to remove the latter three sentences and replaced them with a message encouraging Mohamed to not be dissuaded from pursuing engineering dreams.

Van Duyne came under fire earlier this year after she publicly condemned a rumored “Islamic Sharia court” in Irving. Van Duyne claimed the non-existent Sharia court was set up by Muslims trying to gain a foothold in America to “bypass” American courts. In another Facebook post, Van Duyne wrote, “I am working with our State Representatives on legislation to clarify and strengthen existing prohibitions on the application of foreign law in violation of constitutional or statutory rights. . . Our nation cannot be so overly sensitive in defending other cultures that we stop protecting our own.” The “court” that Van Duyne referred to is, in reality, simply a dispute resolution process, similar to systems set up by Christians and Jews, and does not attempt to take precedent over the law.

Nonetheless, in a move backed by Glenn Beck and Frank Gaffney, Van Duyne convinced the Irving City Council to support legislation to ban the nonexistent problem of Sharia law in Texas. Zia Sheikh, imam at the Islamic Center of Irving, asserted that the mayor’s statements fueled “anti-Islamic hysteria.” This hysteria has found a home in the Republican Party, where presidential candidates like Ted Cruz insist that Sharia law is making inroads in the U.S. and failed U.S. Senate candidate Sharron Angle said that the city of Frankford, Texas, is under the thumb of Sharia. (As CNN pointed out, Dallas annexed Frankford back in 1975 and “all that remains is a church and cemetery,” not exactly a hotbed of Islamic radicalism.)

While the Texas bill did not pass, the recent incident involving Mohamed proves that anti-Muslim panic encouraged by people like Van Duyne still thrives in Irving.

Ann Corcoran: Syrian Refugees Will Establish A Muslim Caliphate In America

Last week on her American Family Radio program, Sandy Rios invited Ann Corcoran on to discuss the Obama administration’s decision to expand the number of refugees from Syria’s civil war who will be settled in the United States. Corcoran, who runs the anti-refugee blog Refugee Resettlement Watch, warned against accepting Muslim refugees from Syria, whom she claimed want to move to America in order to establish a “caliphate.”

Lamenting the fact that English-speaking Americans now have to hear Arabic words, Rios asked Corcoran to explain the concept of “Hijra.” Hijra, Corcoran claimed (falsely), is “the Islamic doctrine of immigration. Mohammad told his followers that it was their duty to migrate … The idea is to spread Islam to create a caliphate, literally a worldwide caliphate.” This, she explained, is why Muslim Syrians want to immigrate to the United States, not because they are fleeing an ongoing civil war in their home country that has killed thousands and displaced millions of people.

Later in the program, Rios advocated for barriers to be put in place to stop this “invasion” of an estimated 10,000 of the four million Syrians who have fled the country. Specifically, Rios said, “Christians and children and intact families, maybe, could stay, but all the single, Islamic dudes, go back home, go somewhere else, but not here. And I think that’s a reasonable line to draw.” Single, Muslim men, according to Rios, can be presumed to be only trying to enter the United States to spread the caliphate.

Rios also took time to remind listeners that there are already Islamist threats in the United States government, namely former secretary of state Hillary Clinton and her aide Huma Abedin. Clinton, claimed Rios, was instrumental in passing a rule in the UN that “would make it a crime to criticize the prophet around the world” and that Clinton “brought that back home, that you can’t say anything bad about Islam.” In fact, the Obama administration has opposed efforts to criminalize “blasphemous” speech. Rios then restated the tired conspiracy theory that Huma Abedin is a spy for the Muslim Brotherhood.

In a column this week defending Donald Trump’s proposed ban on Muslims entering the country, Bryan Fischer of American Family Radio insisted that Japan has issued similar restrictions on Muslims, and that is why the country doesn’t face terrorism: There is a simple reason we never read about jihadi attacks in Japan. There are no Muslims there. No Muslims, no terrorists. … Dr. Mordechai Kedar, writing in The Jewish Press, offers some of the details (emphasis mine throughout): This country keeps a very low profile on all levels regarding the Muslim matter: On the... John Zmirak, a conservative writer and an editor of James Robison’s The Stream website, said in an interview with former Alaska GOP Senate candidate Joe Miller this week that President Obama wants to accept refugees from the Syrian civil war because he sees Muslims as “tools” to “destroy the middle class, white, Christian America that he has hated since his youth.” Miller, appalled that the U.S. will still accept refugees after the terrorist attacks in Paris, asked Zmirak, “What’s going on with the administration, why aren’t they recognizing... In an interview yesterday on “Trunews,” Avi Lipkin added a new twist to his conspiracy theory that the Free Mason/Illuminati/Trilateral Commission members “who control the world” are part of a plot to bring 50 to 100 million Muslim refugees to America, where they will be housed in national parks. Lipkin told host Rick Wiles that the plan to bring 100 million Muslims to America “imminently” is on track as God destroys Israel’s “enemies” one by one, predicting that more people will flee the Middle East after God annihilates not only Syria... Conservative activist Jesse Lee Peterson is coming to the defense of Donald Trump’s proposal to ban all Muslims from entering the country, writing in WorldNetDaily over the weekend that only “traitors” like President Obama disagree with Trump’s plan. Peterson laments that just seven years after the 9/11 attacks, Americans elected “a man with a Muslim name and sympathies” who “sides with the enemy.” “Knowing the administration’s desire to overrun us with Muslims, Trump’s position makes a whole lot of sense,” he writes... Katrina Pierson, a national spokeswoman for Donald Trump’s presidential campaign, addressed concerns about Trump’s proposal for a ban on Muslim immigration on Friday by saying such a ban would not be “religious discrimination” because you don’t “have the freedom to kill Americans just because it’s based on your religion.” She added that any Muslim “can just flip into a jihadist” and that Americans victimized by Islamist terrorism are now being “criminalized.” “It’s absolutely not religious discrimination,... John Guandolo, an anti-Muslim activist who appeared alongside a number of Republican presidential candidates at an event organized by Frank Gaffney in July, insisted this week that President Obama’s intention to work with U.S. Muslim communities to combat extremism is useless because all U.S. Muslim groups “share the same ideology as ISIS” and that Obama may even be committing “treason” by working with these groups. Guandolo added that the two Muslim members of Congress, Democrats Andre Carson of Indiana and Keith Ellison of Minnesota, speak “the same... MORE
