Swanson: Homosexuality 'Destroys Civilizations' and Must Be Punished

Pastors Kevin Swanson and Dave Buehner have long warned that homosexuality is responsible for natural disasters and that the US government should follow Uganda and “remove the abomination from the land” before it destroys people and society itself.

So we were not surprised when they kicked off Generations Radio this week by condemning pastor Rob Bell and the government of New Zealand for endorsing marriage equality. In fact, Swanson said that people should scratch New Zealand off their lists of places to turn to in case America falls apart since by legalizing same-sex marriage they will now face divine wrath.

As it turns out what works for Rob Bell is also what destroys civilizations and brings God’s judgment down upon civilizations. I know it’s really hard for some people to understand but if he did it in the Old Testament he is going to do it in the New Testament as well friends because God is the same God of judgment, the same God that holds nations to accountability and of course calls them to repentance as well and he holds them to tighter accounts on that repentance, according to the Apostle Paul on Mars Hill. By the way, New Zealand also has just legalized same-sex marriage so this thing is spreading all around the world today. There will be some nations better than others and New Zealand will not be one of them, friends. I’ve heard people talk about how wonderful New Zealand is and maybe we should all move to New Zealand, I’m sorry, New Zealand has also legalized same-sex marriage and has gone the way of America effectively.

The pair agreed that homosexuality at the very least should be criminalized and maybe even made into a capital crime since the Old Testament “says that homosexuals should be put to death.”

Buehner criticized Bell along with Tim Keller, who said that while he opposes gay marriage he does not consider it a sin to support its legalization, telling them that “not only is homosexuality a sin but it’s a crime” and Christians cannot “in any way cooperate with the committing of a crime against the law of God.”

Swanson: I would say the general equity of a law in the Old Testament that says that homosexuals should be put to death would be to frown on homosexuality.

Buehner: To frown?

Swanson: At least, at least to frown.

Buehner: Before you throw the stone?

Swanson: At the very, very, very least you would hope that somebody would get some kind of a moral directory, a trajectory towards a negative approach to handling homosexuality on the part of the civil magistrate. I hope that somebody would get that out of some of these Old Testament laws.

Buehner: So to Mr. Keller and to Mr. Bell and to many others who are saying these sorts of things, I would say not only is homosexuality a sin but it’s a crime. The general equity requires that it still be a crime; the moral law requires that it still be listed as a crime ergo Christians should in no way give any kind of endorsement, support candidates who give endorsement or in any way cooperate with the committing of a crime against the law of God. God’s law is law, God has the authority, he gives his authority to civil magistrates to execute his law; this is outside, against and opposed to God’s law.

Swanson: If there will be Christianity extant in the year 2060 friends somebody is going to have to be rooted and grounded to the rock solid foundations of God’s laws, otherwise they’re going to be blown about with every political position that comes around that is out to destroy our civilizations as we know it.

Fischer: Gays Should Face Job Discrimination Just As 'We Discriminate Against Shoplifters'

As part of Bryan Fischer’s attempts to “reclaim the ‘D’ word” — discrimination — the American Family Association spokesman is praising a Catholic school in Ohio which fired a teacher after she named her partner in her mother’s obituary.

“The school discriminated against this teacher, yes they absolutely did and they should have,” Fischer said, “they were absolutely right to do it…. It is right to discriminate against people who engage in aberrant sexual behavior, we should discriminate against people like that.”

Fischer maintained that the school was right to discriminate against her “immoral sexual behavior” in the same way “we discriminate against shoplifters.”

Of course, if a school disciplined a teacher for say promoting anti-gay bigotry to students, you could imagine Fischer would go nuts and rail against “homofascism.”

Barton: 'Decent People Find [Homosexuality] Absolutely Reprehensible and Disgusting'

On yesterday's program, David Barton asserted that one way to win the fight against gay rights is to start talking about how "reprehensible" homosexuality is going into graphic details on the theory that it will gross people out and educate them about what is really going on.

On today's broadcast, dedicated to discussing the possibility that the Boy Scouts might lift the ban on gay scouts and/or scout leaders, Barton and co-host Rick Green again asserted that as part of this battle, anti-gay activists need to inform people about how "reprehensible and disgusting" homosexuality really is:

Green: Just yesterday on the program with Father Frank, you were describing at the end of the program just like what Representative [Bill] Dannemeyer had read on the House floor in describing just how graphically disgusting these activities are in the homosexuality community.  And I think a lot of folks who are kind of siding with them on this Scout fight again, do not realize what they're approving to go camping with their ten and eleven year old boys.

Barton: Yeah, people have an image of what they think sexuality is and, you know, that can come from movies or come from other sites as well, but when you get the specifics of what homosexuality activity is, even decent people find that absolutely reprehensible and disgusting.  And that's why when Representative Dannemeyer said "hey you Democrats are trying to promote this, let me read what you're promoting, even Democrats got grossed out and tried to censor the Congressional Record and get that stuff taken out because it was so disgusting.

That is probably a good point to make Rick. While we think of this as being tolerant and whatever, no, you do need some details to realize what we're facing here and it's not what you think it might be. Get some details on it.

Faith 2 Action Mocks Gay People Coming Out by Equating Homosexuality with Adultery

Stooping to a new low, Janet Porter’s Faith 2 Action is mocking the process of gay people coming out by releasing a video of a man revealing to his family that he is an adulterer and demanding affirmation.

Naturally, it ends with a clip from Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality comparing homosexuality to alcoholism.

Barton: Democrats 'Have Wrapped [Kermit] Gosnell Around Themselves'

On today's "WallBuilders Live," David Barton and Rick Green interviewed Frank Pavone of Priests for Life where they discussed the trial of Kermit Gosnell. Following the interview, Barton asserted that the Gosnell case "the biggest mass murder trial in American history" before declaring that activists should not be afraid of placing the blame on the Democratic Party because the Democrats "have wrapped Gosnell around themselves":

The news has done a very, very, very poor job of covering the Gosnell trial which is one of the mass murder trials, the biggest mass murder trials in American history. You know, just basically decapitating a hundred babies or sniping the spinal cords and all the screaming, it's just unbelievable.

Democrats are the ones who have owned the abortion issue. In their platform they proudly proclaim [it,] so why do I feel like I have to tread on neutral ground and not call out Democrats versus Republicans? Hey, the Democrats are the ones who have wrapped the flag of abortion around themselves, they have wrapped Gosnell around themselves. Gosnell is a product of the Democrat thinking and philosophy ... If you're in the Democrat Party,  this is what your party believes, this is what your party platform says, this is what you've wrapped yourself around, this is what you promote as president, this is it.

Barton went on to proclaim that the key to winning the abortion battle is to educate people about the graphic nature of what abortion entails ... just like they should do with the issue of homosexuality in explaining how truly "reprehensible" it is:

Bill Dannemeyer, a Lutheran guy, he said "you Democrats, you're wanting to fund all this homosexual activity, let me describe to you what homosexuality is."  And he just took a homosexual handbook that described the different types of homosexual sex and it grossed all the congressmen out. He said "why are you grossed out, this is what you're funding" and he literally read it into the [Congressional] Record and they wanted to purge the record. But once you get education, you go man, this is gross stuff, whether it's homosexuality, whether it's abortion.

You know, even my grandad, when I got involved in the Republican Party ... he had been a lifelong Democrat, he said "why'd you do that?"  And I said "well, Grandad, because of where they are on abortion and where they are on religious expression and where they are on homosexuality."  We were building a fence at the time and I vividly remember it, we were putting the barbed wire up and nailing it on the post and he just listened to me and for about five minutes, he didn't say anything and about five minutes later he said "sometime you're going to have to tell me what homosexuality is. I hear people use that and I'm not sure what that is."

And there's a guy who has been in the Democrat Party his whole life but because of the reprehensible nature of what it is, he didn't know, it had never been described. The Founding Fathers called it the crime not to be mentioned, it was that reprehensible.

Louie Gohmert Cites Mark Foley Scandal to Defend Boy Scouts Gay Ban

Rep. Louie Gohmert (R-TX) defended the Boy Scouts of America’s ban on gay members today by pointing to the scandal surrounding former Republican congressman Mark Foley, who sent sexually explicit messages to several teenage male congressional pages.

Gohmert, who was filling in for Family Research Council president Tony Perkins on the Washington Watch radio program, accused Rep. Nancy Pelosi of hypocrisy because she condemned Foley’s actions but opposes the Boy Scouts’ ban.

Gohmert later agreed with John Stemberger, the Religious Right activist leading the campaign against gay Boy Scouts, when he said that allowing gays in the Boy Scouts would lead to the end of the program and “if scouting dies, part of the fabric of America dies.”

Gohmert: Back when there was a scandal in the House, I guess there was some left-wing group that had found out and then they sat on it for about a year and then right before the election released this story about one of our members from Florida making inappropriate advances toward eight pages, under age. And I heard Representative from San Francisco, Ms. Pelosi, making this speech on the Floor and the thing that really heartened me was because of the things she said I went to the Floor after her and said I am so gratified to know that Ms. Pelosi will now be helping us in maintaining the current position of the Boy Scouts and help us fight off the effort for Boy Scouts based on the things she has said about what’s happened with the page program. But apparently the things she had to say were only to condemn Republicans in an opportune movement that had nothing to do with being consistent when it came to the Boy Scout program…. Any other thoughts or observations, things you would want to encourage our listeners to do after hearing this broadcast?

Stemberger: Yes we have a simulcast coming up right at FRC studios, Sunday, May 5, it’s Stand with Scouts Sunday. We want to get folks all over the country to stand with scouting, especially folks in the program, it’s going to be an hour long program, we want folks to meet a half hour before and a half hour afterwards to organize because we’re going to have rallies around the country. That’s Sunday night, May 5 from 7-8, we want folks to gather at 6:30 and then the meeting will be over by 8:30. It will be a time to meet folks of other like mind. This is our opportunity. Look, scouting is one of the jewels of American culture; if scouting dies, part of the fabric of America dies.

Gohmert: It does.

Stemberger: Those of us who feel passionate about this, we need to fight to make sure we preserve scouting in America.

Gohmert: Yeah.

Later in the show, Gohmert told a listener named Jimmy, who warned the BSA against approving a proposal that would allow openly gay youth to join the Scouts, that homosexuality violates the Ten Commandments and as a result churches that host scout troops won’t go along with the new policy.

Gohmert blamed state and local governments for pressuring BSA to shift on the issue of gay membership. He said they’re accepting of Satanists but punish BSA simply for holding the same belief that “was contained in so many of the references to the lifestyle back among the Founders.”

Scouting has always had people who figured out they were attracted to people of the same-sex but what is being demanded is to be allowed to openly practice this. Jimmy makes the great point that so many of the scout troops, I don’t know what percentage it is but I know in East Texas so many of the troops are sponsored by churches who believe the Ten Commandments and when it says ‘thou shalt not commit adultery’ that means not having relations outside of marriage between a man and a woman. So this would once again be the government—well, government has helped push pressure, there are some state and local governments that have been preventing scouts from using their parks. You can have all kinds of weird beliefs, Satanic or whatever, and you can use the parks but they have made clear if you are a part of the Boy Scouts of America and believe what was contained in so many of the references to the lifestyle back among the Founders then Heaven help you they don’t want you to have anything to do with their parks.

Bachmann Endorses WND Prayer Event that Likens Homosexuality to Terrorism

Michele Bachmann has heartily endorsed the WorldNetDaily prayer effort to mark the anniversary of the September 11 attacks by praying against terrorism, nuclear war and homosexuality. WND editor and birther leader Joseph Farah claimed today that the day of prayer is needed to stop comprehensive immigration reform, the government’s supposed plans to stockpile weapons to “impose de facto firearms restrictions on citizens” and gay rights advocates who seek to “make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.”

Have you ever had the feeling the nation is on the brink of utter disaster?

Has that feeling ever been stronger than it is right now?

• It turns out that after spending hundreds of billions on foreign wars and nearly an equal amount on a new bureaucracy called the Department of Homeland Security, Americans are just as vulnerable to Islamic terrorist attacks as they were on 9/11.

• For days that seemed like weeks, the systematically disarmed residents of the Boston and Cambridge area cowered in their homes and hid in their closets in fear of one armed and dangerous terrorist presumed to have been involved in the Boston Marathon bombing.

• Sometimes it seems the war on terrorism is really a war on the people of the United States and, particularly, on their liberty, as DHS and other agencies target entire classifications of law-abiding Americans rather than those who pose the gravest threat.

• Even when the Democrat-controlled U.S. Senate narrowly rejects harsh gun-control legislation, the DHS and other government agencies impose de facto firearms restrictions on citizens by buying up billions of rounds of ammunition, thus removing them from the free marketplace where they could be used for citizen self-defense.

• The U.S. continues its slide from moral malaise to cultural hedonism that makes the late 1960s look like the 1950s by comparison, as support for “same-sex marriage” grows, the horrors of the “abortion on demand” crusade are revealed in a Philadelphia courtroom sans media coverage and an epidemic of sex abuse against children by schoolteachers, clergy and scoutmasters is not only ignored but results in capitulation by the Boy Scouts of America to the demands of those who would make the citizenry of Sodom and Gomorrah blush.

• Most of the U.S. press, once considered an important watchdog institution against government fraud, waste, abuse and corruption, has become a disinformation factory – out of touch with the values of the people, the principles upon which the country was established and even the rule of law that specifically guards the media’s own freedom.

• As the country becomes more divided culturally and jobs become harder to find for Americans, one of the highest priorities of the ruling elite in Washington is to ensure that tens of millions of illegal aliens already in the country are permitted to stay, while its calls for amnesty and an open border virtually invite more to emigrate, while rolling out the red carpet for terrorist enemies to enter in their wake.

Do I paint an accurate picture, or do I exaggerate?

It all suggests to me something’s got to give – that we are reaching a breaking point for America.

Harvey: Homosexuality 'Hurts the Person Involved' and 'Hurts All of Society'

Like almost every other day, Linda Harvey of Mission America dedicated her daily radio bulletin to attacking gays and lesbians along with LGBT-rights supporters, whom she claims are “misleading millions of people” by telling them that “they were born this way.” She warned that “homosexual behavior hurts the person involved” and “hurts all of society,” but don’t worry because God can help “any person who has a desire to change homosexuality or repent after an abortion.”

Harvey concluded by lamenting that people “believe many tales in this life that turn out to not be true.”

We need to speak up and challenge the acceptance of homosexual behavior. We need to have courage to risk from disapproval because the stakes are very high. Persuasive celebrities and politicians like our President are misleading millions of people. On this issue if you are not firmly grounded in the word of God you will be swayed by the narratives, the people who insist they were born this way, who really believe they cannot live any other kind of life and that it hurts no one. Yet the evidence is overwhelming that none of that turns out to be true. Homosexual behavior hurts the person involved and it defies God’s will. And it hurts all of society. Of course, our merciful God forgives any person who has a desire to change homosexuality or repent after an abortion so no one should ever feel hopeless. God does not give up on us so why should we? No, we let ourselves believe many tales in this life that turn out to not be true.

Os Hillman: Lowering the Divorce Rate Will Lead to a 'Reduction in the Gay Population'

Writing in the Christian Post, Os Hillman argues that people are gay because they grew up in troubled households and the best way to “see a reduction in the gay population” is “to heal marriages.” “Healthy marriages produce healthy children with healthy identities,” Hillman writes, “Divorce is the entry point of dysfunctional and wounded lives that often lead to aberrant behaviors in human beings” like homosexuality.

Hillman, the dominionist behind Reclaiming the Seven Mountains, claims that gay people need to be freed from “bondage” and know that “God didn't create Adam and Joe.” If the gay rights movement succeeds, Hillman warns, then we may “end up like the Roman Empire and disintegrate from within.”

In the last 50 years the Christian evangelical church has allowed the value of covenant in marriage to be exchanged for contract in marriage. We no longer honor the marital covenant and we make it easy for marriages to break up and reproduce the same pain through remarriage, which also violates scripture. There is no longer shame for divorce or remarriage in the church. The problem has become epidemic and so divorce has become a manufacturing mechanism for dysfunction in society. Consequently the church has lost its moral authority to speak on this issue of gay marriage. Also, the failure of the Catholic Church regarding sexual abuse contributes to the failed authority within the Catholic Church.

We have compounded this by the church making homosexuality as the unpardonable sin by judging and condemning those in this lifestyle. A friend of mine who was delivered from the gay lifestyle said to me one time, "If there was a divorce rate of less than 5%, you would not be talking about gay issues." It would be a non-issue. That's because healthy marriages produce healthy children with healthy identities.

Wounds can happen so early that a person can believe they were born that way. One thing is for sure, God never made a person gay. That would violate what the Bible teaches.

There's only one way to deal with the root problem; that is to heal marriages and return to covenant commitments in marriage learn to love those who are caught in a web of bondage. Only then will we see a reduction in the gay population.

Divorce is the entry point of dysfunctional and wounded lives that often lead to aberrant behaviors in human beings in each new generation. Unless there is a stop-gap somewhere in the cycle, more and more expressions of aberrant behavior will be the result until we end up like the Roman Empire and disintegrate from within.

In 2011, pop artist Lady Gaga received three American Music Awards from three nominations for her smash hit "Born This Way". Millions of young people and adults under 40 heard the gay propaganda over the airwaves compliments of Lady Gaga.

CNN weekend anchor, Don Lemmon revealed in 2012 he was gay during an interview. During one of his interviews with someone else on a CNN broadcast he subtly commented to the interviewer that he knew he was born gay. Because of the power of media viewers often take what is said as truth. Our young people have especially bought this lie. Yet there is no scientific data that proves a person is genetically pre-disposed to be gay. This deception is played out regularly in the media with few willing to state the truth for fear of backlash from the gay community.

Most of us hear the rationale of gay activists that they are born gay rather than their sexual preference being an influence of how they were raised and the exposure to societal factors and childhood wounds that predisposed them to this lifestyle. After the Ball authors Kirk and Madsen made an amazing admission in their book: "We argue that, for all practical purposes, gays should be considered to have been born gay, even though sexual orientation, for most humans, seems to be the product of a complex interaction between innate predispositions and environmental factors during childhood and early adolescence." Here you have an amazing admission by gay leaders that "We are not born gay." But we want you to believe we were. What is their ultimate goal?

It isn't just to get acceptance. It is far more than that. David Kupelian explains: "The end game is not only to bring about the complete acceptance of homosexuality, including same-sex marriage, but also to prohibit and even criminalize public criticism of homosexuality. In other words, total jamming of criticism with the force of law. This is already the case in Canada and parts of Scandinavia."

Let's face it; God didn't create Adam and Joe. He created Adam and Eve.

However, being right about an issue has very little redemptive value in helping a gay person who we know is in bondage but may be unwilling to admit it.

LaBarbera Finds It 'Reassuring' When Gays Are Affected By STIs and Violence

Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality spoke to “Coach” Dave Daubenmire last week, telling Daubenmire that he finds it “reassuring” that the gay community is impacted by STIs and violence as it confirms to him that “God believes [homosexuality] is an abomination.”

“If it really is a detestable behavior as God says, you’d expect it to be linked disproportionately to disease, we see lots of gay-on-gay violence, domestic violence,” LaBarbera said. “There’s no logic to the liberal left, they are all about doing whatever the homosexual movement wants, it is like spoiled children but nobody wants to say no them.”

Barber: 'Homosexualization' of the Military Leading to 'Marxist' Persecution

The folks at Liberty Counsel are quite upset about an email sent by a lieutenant colonel which called out anti-gay groups, and as you might expect, Matt Barber is already blaming the incident on the “homosexualization of the United States military” that began following the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

Barber, an ardent supporter of the military’s then-ban on gay service members, also told Faith & Freedom cohost and Liberty Counsel head Mat Staver that the email is part of a “Marxist” attempt “to marginalize people with whom they disagree.”

Klingenschmitt: Children of Gay Parents Are 'Abused Kids' Who Are 'Recruited Into' and 'Used as Pawns for the Homosexual Agenda'

In an email to members of his Pray In Jesus Name Project yesterday, Gordon Klingenschmitt said that Religious Right activists must become “the voice” of the “abused kids” raised by same-sex parents, who he says are “not only recruited into but used as pawns for the homosexual agenda.”

Klingenschmitt responded to Justice Kennedy’s statement about the need to remember the “voice of those children” who “live with same-sex parents” while hearing the Proposition 8 case by arguing that “those abused children really wanted one mom and one dad, they just didn't know better having been misled by California Judges who impose homosexual parents upon innocent kids, against their will, and against the will of California voters.”

He also claimed that Christians cannot support politicians who favor legalizing same-sex marriage and warned that gay rights advocates are bent on “taxing heterosexuals more to pay homosexuals to engage in immorality” and “reward their acts of sodomy.”

Now 51 of 55 Democrat Senators are now openly pro-homosexual (all but Pryor, D-AR; Johnson, D-SD; Manchin, D-WV; and Landrieu, D-LA) compared to just 2 of 45 Republicans(Portman, R-OH; Kirk, R-IL). [Dr. Chaps' comment: Never again can any Bible-believing Christian support them, if Christ is still Lord of your heart.]

Shocker: Last week Senator Bill Nelson (D-FL) literally blamed Jesus Christ for creating homosexual "marriage." Really Senator? Jesus made you vote for sin?

If you saw how the left-wing major media (including Fox News) reported today's Supreme Court arguments, it appears all but a foregone conclusion that 5 of the 9 justices will vote to homosexualize "marriage" this week, and release their decision in June.

For example, here's a quote from Justice Kennedy, supposedly the 'conservative' but open-minded swing vote, who today voiced concern about the estimated 40,000 children in California with homosexual 'parents': "They want their parents to have full recognition and full status. The voice of those children is important in this case," Kennedy said.

No, Justice Kennedy, those abused children really wanted one mom and one dad, they just didn't know better having been misled by California Judges who impose homosexual parents upon innocent kids, against their will, and against the will of California voters.

But here's some good news. 15,000 Christians marched on the Supreme Court today, demanding we define marriage as only valid between one man and one woman, for the sake of the kids, because every child deserves a mom and a dad. Let's petition with them, and let's be the voice of those abused kids, not only recruited into but used as pawns for the homosexual agenda, as proven in today's court arguments by Justice Kennedy himself.

While the national media covers only the debt crisis, Democrats in the Senate are attacking traditional marriage between one man and one woman, by attempting to repeal the 1996 Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA). Not satisfied with homosexualizing the military, or forcing gay "marriage" in states like New York, radical homosexuals testified on Capitol Hill today demanding homosexual "bonus pay" with more than 1,100 federal benefits that reward their acts of sodomy in all 50 states, taxing heterosexuals more to pay homosexuals to engage in immorality.

On Tuesday Senator Dianne Feinstein (D-CA) introduced, and President Obama quickly endorsed a new bill S.598 to promote homosexual marriage, mislabeled the "Respect for Marriage Act" (RFMA) to end federal law that defines traditional marriage between one man and one woman. White House press secretary Jay Carney told reporters Tuesday "President Obama is proud to support the Respect for Marriage Act," which disrespects traditional marriage by enforcing homosexual marriage upon all 50 states. Rios: Schools No Longer Teach Reading and Writing, Now Just Promote Homosexuality

On Monday, the American Family Association’s Sandy Rios hosted Linda Harvey of Mission America to criticize the Day of Silence, the anti-bullying event which Harvey has previously described as dangerous and blasphemous.

Rios, who once said that test scores are dropping as a result of schools “teaching” homosexuality, kicked off the program by arguing that public schools no longer instruct students in subjects like “reading, writing, cursive, spelling, grammar [and] punctuation,” but are instead completely dedicated to “cramming, twisting, perverting all academic subjects to the way of supporting homosexuality.”

Rios: That’s an advertisement for this Friday’s Day of Silence in American public schools. You know there was a day when American public schools actually taught reading, writing, cursive, spelling, grammar, punctuation, English literature, British literature, American civilization, but no more. For the last twenty-five years the National Education Association has been cramming, twisting, perverting all academic subjects to the way of supporting homosexuality. Now in an activist move to really further intimidate anyone who would object to it they incorporated a few years ago what’s called the Day of Silence.

The two also latched onto conspiracy theories that common core standards will lead to the “promotion of homosexuality” and criticized schools and publishing houses for offering “pro-homosexual novels.”

Rios: Common Core, do you know anything about what they’re doing to promote homosexuality? Do they have any stated goals with this?

Harvey: I don’t know the details, I do know that everyone believes that will be part of it as they get into the more social science areas, I think they are just in English language arts and math at this point, isn’t that the case? Even English language arts, oh my goodness, the choices for reading pro-homosexuals novels out there are vast; the publishing industry is going crazy. I have found many, many school districts recommend these on a selected and chosen school reading list and so you really have to watch for that.

Rios: If no other way, and it isn’t the only way, I guarantee you if you got kids in the public school this isn’t the only way but the reading lists, the suggested reading lists are enough to make your ears just smoke.

Harvey said that conservatives should “be rolling our eyes” at claims that LGBT youth face bullying and claimed that parents should not allow their children to “witness” the Day of Silence.

Harvey: Students pledge to be silent all day because they feel that as gay, lesbian, bisexual or transgendered [sic] students or allies, that’s other kids, that they have been silenced over the years; many of us will be rolling our eyes at that one with the loud homosexual militancy in our culture right now. But that’s what they’re claiming and they’re saying that the issue of bullying is so rampant and it is traditional values that is causing all of these kids to be bullied, it’s causing hatred and that they need to engage in a silent protest against that. And of course we’re all going: what? You can prevent bullying and stand against bulling without endorsing homosexuality but our kids are being manipulated into thinking that this is a social justice issue and that they can just make this into a protest day and it’s this Friday in many schools, April 19.

Harvey: What we are saying is find out about your school’s position on this, call your schools and say, ‘are you going to allow students to be silent to recognize this Day of Silence, this pro-homosexual day, Friday April 19 or any other day that they designation…are you going to allow to remain silent to protest the Day of Silence,’ and if so keep your kids home. We suggest that you not let your children have to sit there in class and witness teachers condoning this, other students being allowed to be silent in class. This is political propaganda and it’s manipulating an issue of kids. Everybody is concerned about bullying and it is manipulating kids’ compassion but it is all for supporting homosexuality. So we’re suggesting to people, if that’s the situation, keep your kids at home.

Rios: How do you think this issue has progressed in public schools? I wouldn’t of thought it could get much worse but what are we seeing now about the propaganda in our public schools?

Not only should parents pull their kids out of school on the Day of Silence, but according to Harvey, they should remove their children from the public school system altogether as the influence of gay “propaganda” in schools is now “beyond belief.”

Rios: How do you think this issue has progressed in public schools, I wouldn’t of thought it could get much worse, but what are we seeing now about the propaganda in our public schools?

Harvey: It’s beyond belief. I am very discouraged and I would urge any parent out there…if you are a parent and you have any ability at all to move your children to another schooling situation, Christian schooling, homeschooling, please to do so. You do not know all your children are being exposed to, this propaganda is throughout. Our kids are being told in so many ways, if it’s not direct instructional time it’s through their peers at school, that homosexuality is like race, it’s a social justice issue, which we know is not true, people do not have to be involved in homosexual behavior. This undermines the word of God, at the very bottom line your Christian kids; everything around them is undermining the clear instructions of the word of God.

Rios: Even if your kids are in so-called safe areas: conservative districts, conservative areas of the country; in their textbooks, the influence of their teachers who are part of the National Education Association, it’s really a very dangerous situation, I’m with you on that. There was a time when I used to think it was pretty outrageous to insist that Christian parents remove their kids from public schools, that seemed very extreme to me, but I have come a long way, I really am at this point where I would be frightened really to have my kids in public school.

Judith Reisman On 'Pornography, Homosexuality and the Gypsy Moth'

Liberty University professor Judith Reisman is out with a column in WorldNetDaily today which seems to blame homosexuality on “erototoxins,” or mind-altering chemicals, which she believes are emitted from pornography.

She points to a lecture which called pornography a “visual pheromone” to argue that sex-ed rewires the brain and consequently promotes homosexuality.

Reisman points to a case where pheromones were used to confuse male gypsy moths in order to prevent them from mating with females, which is apparently like how pornography could be confusing men and making them less attracted to women, or something.

On Sept. 21, 2012, Texas neurosurgeon Donald L. Hilton Jr., M.D., spoke on pornography addiction and sexual orientation, saying:

“Pornography is a visual pheromone, a powerful 100-billion-dollar per year brain drug that is changing sexuality even more rapidly through the cyber-acceleration of the Internet. It is ‘inhibiting orientation’ and ‘disrupting pre-mating communication between the sexes by permeating the atmosphere’ and Internet.” (emphasis added)

Hilton’s lecture, “Changing the Stamp of Nature: Pornography Addiction, Neuroplasticity, and the ASAM and DSM Perspectives,” put a hard neuroscience face on pornographic brain rewiring, implicating sex-education promotions of homosexuality as a normal genetic variation.

Pornography, homosexuality and the gypsy moth Hilton agrees, “Pornography is inducing a cultural pheromonic effect,” recording the mis-orientation of male gypsy moths.

In 1869 gypsy moths, imported to create an American silk industry, instead decimated our deciduous trees – oaks, maples and elms – and devastated our forests for the next 150 years. In the ’60s scientists found male moths mate with the female “by following her scent,” her “pheromone.”

A 1967 paper, “Insect population control by the use of sex pheromones to inhibit orientation between the sexes,” reported that scientists permeated the moth’s environment with strong, artificial female moth pheromone “This … scent overpowered the normal females ability to attract the male, and the confused males were unable to find the females.”

So, our trees got saved by what could be called olfactory moth pornography, a heavy-duty phony scent that unmanned male orientation to create an impotent moth population.

Hilton reports this abstract of the paper: “We have for the first time obtained experimental confirmation that pre-mating communication between the sexes can be disrupted by permeating the atmosphere with an insect pheromone.”

In 1972 another paper described mating disorientation as “preventing male gypsy moths from finding mates,” using pheromones. Called the confusion method:

“An airplane scatters … pellets imbedded with the scent of the pheromone … [that] overpower the male’s ability to find the female. He is thus desensitized to the natural scent of the female by this artificially produced pheromone. … The male either becomes confused and doesn’t know which direction to turn for the female, or he becomes desensitized to the lower levels of pheromones naturally given out by the female and has no incentive to mate with her.” (emphasis added)

Gypsy moth pornography? In the trapping method, male moths looking for the female, enter traps with no exit “only to find a fatal substitute.” As a neurosurgeon, Dr. Hilton concludes:

Scott Lively Links Gay Man's Death from Meningitis to Divine Judgment

On a post on the Defend the Family website, Pastor Scott Lively suggests that bacterial meningitis cases among gay men in New York and Los Angeles, where one gay man who contracted meningitis has died, is divine judgment.

While meningitis is not a “gay disease,” Lively links to a WorldNetDaily article which writes that the meningitis cases prove that “‘gay’ sex is becoming even more dangerous.”

After arguing that gay marriage will lead to a Communist government that murders the masses, Alan Keyes later told talk show host Stan Solomon that Satan is using gay-inclusive TV shows to destroy America.

Keyes claimed that “a key vehicle” for Satan’s plan to bring about the country’s “destruction” is the use of music, television shows and movies that “promote the acceptance of homosexuality.”

“It is almost as if they are creating programming now with the purpose of luring people into an experience that they can then use to promote these lies,” he said.

Later, Solomon agreed and warned that “homosexuality is destructive of the individual, destructive of the society and every society in the history of the world that has accepted homosexuality has crashed and burned,” before alleging that gay people were behind Nazism.

Keyes: We need to keep in mind that the Devil is not playing; he’s deadly serious about the destruction of America’s character, spiritual nature and the foundations of that way of life which stood against the devilish work in the 20th century and defeated it soundly again and again. Keyes: Gay Marriage Will Lead to Communism and 'The Murder of the Masses'

Anti-gay activists like Brian Brown have been trying to claim that the case against marriage equality is actually a “libertarian argument” because if you “put a falsehood into the law” then “a state that can do that is a state that pretty much can do anything.”

Well, Alan Keyes took that argument one step further during an interview with Stan Solomon, where he maintained that if the government goes against divine law and legalizes same-sex marriage then the state will have limitless power, ultimately becoming a Communist regime that will authorize “the expropriation of all property” and “the murder of the masses.”

“The aim is not compassion for homosexuals, respect for homosexuals and all of this,” Keyes maintained, “the aim in the mind of these hardheaded, calculating, leftist, Communist, totalitarians is to destroy the family and to establish the notion that once you have seized power there is no limit whatsoever to what you can do.”

Keyes, who is shunning his gay daughter, called marriage equality the “archetype of all crimes against humanity” in a previous interview with Solomon.

Charisma: 'There Is a Gay Agenda and It's Working Overtime to Send Millions to Hell'

Charisma news editor Jennifer LeClaire has long been warning readers about the perils of gay super heroes, laws protecting gays from violence and demon rape, which she says makes people gay.

After we reported last month that LeClaire is deeply troubled at the prospect of NFL players coming out as gay, she apparently has not enjoyed the attention she has received.

“The gay agenda swarmed around me like a shark that smelled blood,” she writes in a column yesterday, “the response from the gay agenda to God’s truth is often hate.”

She claimed that gays and lesbians are “lost souls” and people “the enemy has captured” who are now angry just as a dog yells when it is hit with a rock.

LeClaire doesn’t fail to play the victim card either, insisting that people are trying to “silence” her.

“I don’t agree with the gay lifestyle or the gay agenda’s determination to glorify a lifestyle that’s sending masses to hell,” she adds. “There is a gay agenda and it’s working overtime to send millions to hell.”

In response to “reports” from CBS that a gay NFL player was about to come out, I wrote an op-ed a couple of weeks ago suggesting that we don’t need gay role models in professional sports.

Mind you, I never suggested that gays can’t and don’t make positive contributions to society. And I have nothing against gay people. God’s heart breaks for their lost souls. That said, I don’t agree with the gay lifestyle or the gay agenda’s determination to glorify a lifestyle that’s sending masses to hell.

The gay agenda swarmed around me like a shark that smelled blood. I received emails that purposed to intimidate me. I was sought out on Facebook and repulsive messages were posted on my wall. I was told I would rot in hell. I’ve been labeled a bully who wields “clobber verses” despite the fact that my op-ed didn’t offer a single Scripture. I’ve been compared to white slave owners, deemed stubbornly close-minded, and, of course, there’s the tired old homophobe line. One email simply said, “f**k you.” I’ll stop there because to further expound on the evil that the gay agenda unleashed against me is not edifying.

What was my crime? Telling the truth. God’s truth is love, and it doesn’t always feel good or sound pretty. But the response from the gay agenda to God’s truth is often hate. Still, despite the persecution, I stand in prayer for those the enemy has captured. Like God's heart, my heart breaks for their lost souls. I am contending for light to flood in, deception to break and repentance to come.

It may be working. And that may be why I got so much backlash. There’s an old saying that goes something like this, “Throw a rock at a pack of dogs and the one that yells is the one that got hit.” Could it be possible that God’s truth is pricking the hearts of those yelling loudest? Could it be possible that conviction is trying to settle in on the hearts of the ones who make the loudest threats? I pray that’s the case because the alternative is that they are flowing in a reprobate mind.

I imagine this column will drive more hateful comments against me. But God’s love in me will not bow down to the threats and name-calling. There is a gay agenda and it’s working overtime to send millions to hell. I will not remain silent. I stand in hope that God will use my words to prick the hearts of some who may find freedom in Christ and work to help set others free. Amen.

Agema and Perkins Agree: Homosexuality Is Destructive Like Alcoholism, Leads to Drug Abuse and Early Death

Tony Perkins hosted embattled Republican National Committeeman Dave Agema yesterday on Washington Watch to defend his anti-gay Facebook posts that cited, among others, Holocaust denier Frank Joseph and Paul Cameron, an extremist and activist who poses as a researcher.

Agema told Perkins that the church should help gays and lesbians “get out of” their “lifestyle,” and tell them “about all the diseases you get, how it gets you into drugs, gets you into all these other things that you don’t want to be in.”

He said gay people should be treated no differently than alcoholics: “if you saw your friend for example dying of alcoholism would you just stand quietly by and watch it happen? Or would you speak up and say hey I want to help you.”

Agema lamented that wealthy and powerful gay activists are suppressing the facts and making the truth-tellers “shut up,” to which Perkins agreed and added that homosexuality is “personally destructive and harmful to the society as well.”

Agema: There’s definitely hate, they call you every name in the book. What I’d like to have the homosexual community know is I don’t hate them, as a matter of fact when Jesus caught the woman in the act of adultery when they brought her to him he said I don’t condemn you but go and sin don’t more. That ought to be the church’s goal here. We ought to be saying to these people: hey, we don’t agree with your lifestyle and we’ll help you get out of it, but we want you to know the facts of what’s going to happen to you if you stay in this lifestyle.

Study after study after study talks about all the diseases you get, how it gets you into drugs, gets you into all these other things that you don’t want to be in. So if you really love someone, if you really were concerned about someone, if you saw your friend for example dying of alcoholism would you just stand quietly by and watch it happen? Or would you speak up and say hey I want to help you. That’s what we should be doing. But the problem is the homosexual community is very organized, they got a lot of money behind them, as a matter of fact the average homosexual makes more than the average person does, has better education and they are very good at shutting anybody down and embarrassing him so they will shut up. So when this happened to me this time just like when it happened to me before I thought, I’m not going to keep quiet on them. It’s starting to backfire on them.

Perkins: I could not agree with you more. I think probably the most profound display of hate would be silence in the face of people making choices that are personally destructive and harmful to the society as well. I want to thank you for standing up because you are absolutely right, a lot of people have self-censored themselves because of the intimidation, they’ve simply backed away and said I don’t want people saying that stuff about me because that’s not who I am, and we’re not haters.

The Republican leader argued that marriage equality and LGBT-inclusive curriculum in school may eventually turn kids gay and make parents and churches victims of hate crime laws. He called on schools to teach kids that gay people “live twenty years less than the average person” and tell gay students about “all the diseases you’re going to contract.”

Perkins also told Agema that he agreed with his Facebook post and is only in trouble for “presenting the truth.”

Agema: I think what the people have to know is if this passes, what will happen is it is just a progression of events that will occur. First of all, what will happen to your school kids when they are in school, it’s already being taught in a lot of places that it is an accepted lifestyle. Then the next thing that will occur is your kids will come home and say I think this is a good thing and I think I want to be one, and if you as a parent stand up and say this is against my moral beliefs and my biblical beliefs, then the next thing you’re going to get into is hate crimes because you’re speaking against something that’s been sanctioned by the state. If you look at Denmark and others then the state also tells the churches you have to marry homosexuals and if you don’t what may happen in the United States is you might lose your tax exempt status.

So this all blew up and so I made a web page here listing several other studies that show the harmful effects of the homosexual lifestyle. Just imagine this, if our kids are in school instead of being told that this is an acceptable and OK lifestyle we are actually briefed and taught the ramifications of this lifestyle, that you’re going to live twenty years less than the average person, you are going to die younger and here’s all the diseases you’re going to contract, there’d be a totally different philosophy here instead of basically telling the kids that this is good. So I think we got to go into this with our eyes wide open and what the 2 or 3 percent of homosexuals what they are doing in the United States today is trying to get the courts to do what they can’t get the individual states to do, and that’s dictate that all states will accept homosexual marriage.

Perkins: I’m joined by Dave Agema; he is the Republican National Committeeman from the state of Michigan. We’re talking about a post that he put on his Facebook page citing facts, statistics regarding the homosexual lifestyle during the oral arguments before the Supreme Court on same-sex marriage. What is troubling to me is that your post has been called a form of hate but simply what you are doing is having a conversation presenting the truth. These are documented facts. I looked at what you put up there and some of it is the same information we have on our website, some of it comes from the CDC, comes from other medical sources, it’s all footnoted, there’s nothing hate in here it is just talking about the facts. This is troubling that you can’t even have a conversation about what’s in the best interest of our society without being a bigot or a hater.

Agema: That’s exactly how they get you to shut up.
