Gohmert Gives Netanyahu Book From End Times Fanatic

Family Research Council president Tony Perkins today had Rep. Jim Jordan (R-OH) on his radio show Washington Watch Weekly to discuss their recent trip to Israel with a delegation that also included congressmen Louie Gohmert (R-TX), John Fleming (R-LA), Doug Lamborn (R-CO) and Randy Forbes (R-VA). Perkins and Jordan recounted their meeting with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, which included Gohmert knocking over Netanyahu’s coffee cup when he “presented the Prime Minister with the latest novel from Joel Rosenberg”:

Joel Rosenberg is a Christian author who primarily writes about the End Times and frequently shares his thoughts with Glenn Beck. His latest novel describes a future time when Iran has a nuclear weapon and “[m]illions of Muslims around the world are convinced their messiah—known as ‘the Twelfth Imam’—has just arrived on earth.” Christianbook.com says that Rosenberg’s novel “combines the action and exquisite detail of Tom Clancy with the tense religious drama of Left Behind.”

Gohmert’s choice of Rosenberg’s novel as a gift for the Israeli Prime Minister is odd for a number of reasons, not the least of which is that Rosenberg actively works to proselytize to Jews and convert them to Christianity. On his website, the author revels, “Jews are turning to Jesus in record numbers, and they are getting excited about His Second Coming.” Rosenberg has also told Glenn Beck that he believes that we are in the End Times and headed into the Apocalypse as a result of an emerging Islamic caliphate.

During GodTV’s 9/11 Wake Up Call, Rosenberg claimed that God let the attacks on September 11, 2011 happen “to shake America, to get our attention, to wake us up,” later pointing to America’s abortion rate and pornography industry as national sins. He said that through earthquakes and hurricanes, “God is trying to shake us” because “He is trying to get us to let go of anything else, any form of ideology, philosophy, political belief, religious belief, material position, anything or anyone that we are holding onto other than Jesus Christ.”

This begs the question: is it really appropriate for a representative of the United States to give the Israeli Prime Minister a gift from an End Times fanatic who works to proselytize to Jews?

Robertson Calls Oklahoma Earthquake A Sign Of The End Times

Today on The 700 Club Pat Robertson said that the earthquake in Oklahoma this weekend was a sign of the End Times and that people must get “right with the Lord.” Back in August, Robertson suggested that the crack in the Washington Monument created by a Virginia earthquake was “a sign from the Lord.” Robertson warned today that the “intensity of earthquake activity” is a Sign of the Times:

Griffith: What in the world’s going on Pat?

Robertson: Well I think the earth is in a process of shifting around, these plates do move. Does this indicate some sort of a Sign of the Time? Jesus Christ said there would be earthquakes in diverse places and lo and behold we’re seeing an intensity of earthquake activity as the crust of the earth, which is floating all the time, it floats on the sea of magma, so these continents aren’t solid, they float and they move.

Ladies and gentlemen that’s just one more reason that we need to get ourselves right with the Lord. Regardless of what’s happening, the earth that we think is so solid, isn’t all that solid.

Bakker: "Anti-Christ Spirit" Of Liberalism Bringing In The Last Days

Jim Bakker, following the collapse of The PTL Club and a stint in jail for twenty four counts of fraud, seems to be having something of a revival. He has launched a new television program and founded Morningside, a Christian community in Missouri modeled after his failed and fraudulent Heritage USA project (Heritage USA is now the home of Rick Joyner’s MorningStar Ministries).

Now Bakker is out with a new book, “Big Book of History.” Promoting the book on his blog, Bakker explains that the courts and President Barack Obama “kicked God out of schools and eventually we even kicked Him out of the entire nation.” Bakker points to the 1962 Supreme Court case which found mandatory school prayer to be unconstitutional as the moment when America began to reject God and consequently went into decline, an argument made by many Religious Right activists. He goes on to say that liberal politics and secular society made a generation of “kids [who] are self-willed, insolent, and morally depraved,” which he calls a sign of the End Times. Bakker writes that as a result of the Church’s silence, “An anti-christ spirit is masquerading in our world as a champion of human rights”:

How many people do you think understand that rebellious children are a sign of the Last Days? I don’t think too many Christians actually do equate a rebellious generation with the soon coming of the Lord, but that is, in fact, one of the signs. It’s easy to spot the other signs: earthquakes, wars and rumors of wars, famines, pestilences, etc.

Isaiah 30:1 NCV “The Lord said, how terrible it will be for these stubborn children. They make plans, but they don’t ask me to help them. They make agreements with other nations, without asking my Spirit. They are adding more and more sins to themselves.”

This is the USA!

We are just as much the rebellious children of God who did not take council with the Lord!

I have a new book that I am making available to everyone that’s called “Big Book of History” that outlines the truth about history from the creation days until today. This is a children’s book, but even adults today need to be reminded about the things in our history that contributed to the situation we currently find ourselves in with this generation of rebellious children.

The following events and timeline are outlined in the “Big Book of History”:

1947 – Pres. Harry Truman declares the U.S. is a Christian Nation.

1948 – Dead Sea Scrolls discovered. Modern State of Israel created.

1962 – Prayer removed from state schools in the U.S. by order of Supreme Court.

1963 – The bible is removed from state schools in the US.

2005 – The Ten Commandments removed from public buildings in the US.

2010 – Pres Barack Obama declares the US is no longer a Christian Nation.

In the last 50 years, we have kicked God out of schools and eventually we even kicked Him out of the entire nation and then wonder why our kids are self-willed, insolent, and morally depraved! In all reality, we have sometimes inadvertently assisted the anti-christ spirit in its ability to proliferate. Even much of the Church seemed to be asleep when all of this happened.

“The people who wrecked swathes of property, burned vehicles and terrorized communities have no moral compass to make them susceptible to guilt or shame” said British journalist Max Hastings in an article titled “Years of liberal dogma have spawned a generation of amoral, uneducated, welfare dependent, brutalized youngsters.” The “liberal dogma” Max speaks about can be further explained in a Christian sense when we go a little deeper: an anti-christ spirit is masquerading in our world as a champion of human rights.

Robertson: Jews Must Convert To Christianity To Usher In End Times

Back in July, Pat Robertson proudly claimed that he was a bigger advocate for Israel than most American Jews. “You know I’ve been a strong supporter of Israel, it looks like liberal Jews in America have been kind of down on Israel,” Robertson said, suggesting that “self-hatred” was to blame for Jewish apathy. But Robertson’s support for Israel apparently does not include allowing Jewish people to maintain their faith.

Today on The 700 Club, Robertson made clear that his “support” for Israel does not mean he believes the Jewish people should continue to uphold and practice their faith. Robertson claimed that Jews must convert to Christianity for salvation and said that in the Last Days “there will be a returning of the Jewish people to their Messiah.”

Robertson’s view on Jewish conversion is at the center of Christian Zionist movement, where support for Israel is framed with End Times eschatology. As Rachel Tabachnick explained in the Jewish Standard, Christian Zionists like Robertson believe that Christ’s Second Coming “cannot take place until Israelis call for Yeshua (Jesus) to return as their messiah.” A similar prayer for Jewish conversions was made at Texas Gov. Rick Perry’s The Repsonse prayer rally where ‘Apostle’ Doug Finto prayed “for Israel to come to their own Messiah.”

Robertson Suggests Crack In The Washington Monument Was A Sign From God

During The 700 Club’s “The Sign Of The Times” series on the end of the world this week, Pat Robertson today addressed Tuesday’s earthquake on the east coast that left a four-foot long crack in the Washington Monument. Robertson, who consistently claims that because of sin, legal abortion and tolerance of homosexuality, America will receive the same lethal punishment as Sodom and Gomorrah, floated his claim that the fissure may have been a symbolic message from God, likening it to when the veil of the Holy of Holies was torn after the Crucifixion.

Watch:

Robertson: Ladies and gentlemen I don’t want to get weird on this so please take it for what it’s worth. But it seems to me the Washington Monument is a symbol of America’s power, it has been the symbol of our great nation, we look at that monument and say this is one nation under God. Now there’s a crack in it, there’s a crack in it and it’s closed up. Is that a sign from the Lord? Is that something that has significance or is it just result of an earthquake? You judge, but I just want to bring that to your attention. It seems to me symbolic. When Jesus was crucified and when he died the curtain in the Temple was rent from top to bottom and there was a tear and it was extremely symbolic, is this symbolic? You judge.

Robertson: "The Antichrist Is Islam"

This week The 700 Club is hosting a series about the End Times, and host Pat Robertson says he has identified the Antichrist: Islam. Robertson, a fierce critic of Islam who has likened Muslims to Nazis, told co-host Terry Meeuwsen during today’s program that Islam is the Antichrist which will usher in the end of the world. Recently, Robertson has been regularly warning of a treacherous alliance of radical Muslims, progressives and the media that he contends is seeking to destroy America and Christianity.

Watch:

Robertson: I think the Antichrist is Islam. I really do, and I think it’s a system.

Meeuwsen: It’s a system more than person?

Robertson: It’s both, it’s centered on Mohammed, who defied Jesus, he said Jesus wasn’t the son of God, I mean that’s Antichrist. And I think the system is the Antichrist system, because they’re trying to destroy the Jews and there’s a hatred, a virulent hatred, of Christians and Jews. So could that be it? I think.

Religious Right Activist Finds LGBT Community "Subordinate To Satan"

After warning that marriage equality in New York will hasten the coming of the Antichrist, Renew America’s Michael Bresciani claims that Satan is behind the LGBT-rights movement and using demons to spread lies that will turn people away from God. “In our world most of those spreading the gay lie are liberals, activists, spineless academicians, Hollywood sellouts, and now we can throw in a president and a large contingent of fully duped politicians,” Bresciani writes, adding, “There is little doubt that the entire gay and lesbian community is guided by a powerful demon spirit who is subordinate to Satan.” He claims that at the center Satan’s lie is that people are born gay:

The work of the devil throughout the centuries has kept pace with the so called enlightenment of man. He has not tried to lay ideas on us collectively until we were well prepped to receive them. I'll skip all the increments in between and pull you into the present. In the last days before the second coming of Christ the bible says demons are released in great numbers all over the earth. Their work is to prepare people who have already decided that God must have been wrong about a lot of stuff, to get ready to receive the, lawless one, otherwise known as the antichrist.

The lies will be disseminated by the willing propagandists that first believe the gobbledygook themselves. In our world most of those spreading the gay lie are liberals, activists, spineless academicians, Hollywood sellouts, and now we can throw in a president and a large contingent of fully duped politicians.

The greatest of them place rulers into place and guide nations and kingdoms while the lower level minions cover everything else in the realm of lust, greed, violence and perversion along with a few dozen other areas too many to mention. There is little doubt that the entire gay and lesbian community is guided by a powerful demon spirit who is subordinate to Satan.

One of the easiest ways to determine if a new trend is a lie of the father of lies is to compare it to what God has said. If it is off center, subtly askew or slightly perverted it is probably wrong. In the case of being gay, or even worse, being born gay, that lie is directly opposite of God's word.

Unlike the lie that alcoholism is a disease, this lie of Satan may endure until the second coming because it is part of what precipitates the final judgment over a lawless and reprobate world. In the absence of the magic alcoholic's gene that no one ever found, and the need to curb spending alcoholics were bounced off social security disability benefits all at once years ago. Gays are not drawing benefits for being gay but are yet clamoring for same sex civil unions and gay marriage benefits for their so called spouses.

The most damning aspect of Satan's lies about being born gay is that it reveals who the source of the lie is, and at the same time identifies the believers of the lies, as his very own children.

Rick Perry Partners With Pastor Who Thinks Oprah Is The Precursor To The Antichrist

Right Wing Watch has documented the close ties between Gov. Rick Perry’s The Response prayer rally and the International House of Prayer (IHOP), not the least of which is that IHOP’s affiliated The Call rallies appear to serve as a model for The Response. Mike Bickle, the founder and executive director of IHOP -- who along with Lou Engle made IHOP a prominent force in the Religious Right – is also an official endorser of The Response. Like Engle, Bickle is a radical who pushes extraordinary End Times prophesies.

In an undated GOD TV video about the End Times, Bickle claims that Oprah Winfrey will be one of the principal “pastors” of the “Harlot Babylon,” which he says is the precursor to the coming of the Antichrist. Bickle predicts that progressive Christians and humanitarian activists will work with Winfrey to create a unified one-world religion based on tolerance that will ultimately be used by the Antichrist to take global power and introduce demon-worship. Bickle goes on to argue that the End Times will see marriage outlawed due to the legalization of same-sex marriage: “Marriage as an institution will be forbidden in parts of the earth, as one of the signs of the times, the gay marriage agenda, which is rooted in the depths of hell, this is not about love, this is deception.”

Bickle: The Harlot Babylon is preparing the nations to receive the Antichrist. The Harlot Babylon will be a religion of affirmation, toleration, no absolutes, a counterfeit justice movement. They will feed the poor, have humanitarian projects, inspire acts of compassion for all the wrong reasons. They won’t know it, beloved they will be sincere, many of them, but their sincerity will not in any way lessen the impact of their deception. The fact that they are sincere does not make their deception less damaging. I believe that one of the main pastors, as a forerunner to the Harlot movement, it’s not the Harlot movement yet, is Oprah. She is winsome, she is kind, she is reasonable, she is utterly deceived, utterly deceived. A classy woman, a cool woman, a charming woman, but has a spirit of deception and she is one of the clear pastors, forerunners to the Harlot movement.

AFA: The Response Prayer Rally Needed To Stop Marriage Equality

Alex McFarland of the American Family Association, the group hosting Texas Governor Rick Perry’s The Response prayer rally, said that Perry’s event is needed more then ever after marriage equality passed in New York. During his radio show on the AFA’s American Family Radio with Marvin Sanders, McFarland lauded the Perry/AFA rally as “a very wonderful thing” to help America “turn back to God.” McFarland, who last said that homosexuality is “a learned response to emotional pain and sometimes molestation,” went on to say that the marriage equality vote in New York was a warning sign for the nation, noting: “righteousness exalts a nation, lifts up a nation, blesses a people, but sin is a reproach, and literally means an undoing, and we need to pray and I think Governor Perry.”

While cautioning that “our dear friends at Right Wing Watch are probably watching,” McFarland claimed that the world is now in The Latter Days and that we shouldn’t “confuse” LGBT rights with “human rights” because LGBT equality means that “immorality [will] become the law of the land,” McFarland warning that we now “live in that time that people call Evil Good and Evil a Good.”

Will Marriage Equality In New York Lead To The Coming Of The Antichrist?

Pat Robertson has already warned that God will destroy America over New York’s new marriage equality law, and now Religious Right commentator Michael Bresciani is saying that marriage equality may bring the coming of the Antichrist. Writing for Renew America, Bresciani claims that America is abandoning God and will be led into a “foreign tyranny and a ruthless ruler the scriptures refer to as the antichrist”:

The children of Belial could not be expected to understand it but the hour is late and never has there been a time in our history when the following has been truer of America. "Because sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil." (Ec 8: 11) If clamoring for gay rights and gay marriage is pushing the envelope then more laws to dignify such perversion can only be just more to push us over the top in God's patience.

No one says it better than the ancient prophet Micah. He was a contemporary of the prophet Isaiah and gave his message to Israel and Judah for a period of about fifty years. Although he like Isaiah saw the coming captivity that Israel would undergo after Babylon conquered them, those events were over 125 years into the future and no one paid much attention to either prophet on that matter. Micah saw the Assyrian captivity of Israel and that was only ten years away from his prophecies.

The results of our choices in America are closer than Micah's prophecies by far. But the result will be just about the same. We too will be led away captive but not to a foreign place but rather to a foreign tyranny and a ruthless ruler the scriptures refer to as the antichrist.

The condensed version of the pattern God uses is this; A call to repentance, a graduating scale of calamities, natural disasters and disruption of nature, a collapse of the powers and the economy of a nation. Need I remind anyone that America is already in stage three of this pattern? After this it gets far more serious, what exactly does that mean? My answer is both; you don't really want to know and stay tuned there is more to come.
