After finally being allowed to enter Canada, Peter LaBarbera got himself arrested for displaying anti-gay and anti-abortion posters and handing out literature on a college campus and then refusing to leave. Glenn Beck says that Congressional candidate Barry Loudermilk reminds him a lot of David Barton (and he thinks that is a good thing.) Rep. Michele Bachmann will speak at Liberty University tomorrow. In the wake of the Brendan Eich controversy, anti-gay activists are calling on Mozilla "to make a clear statement to its employees as to whether this incident is... MORE >

Peter LaBarbera was initially prohibited from entering Canada on his way to deliver a speech to an anti-abortion group, but the decision was later reversed and he was allowed to enter. Mike Huckabee warns that social conservatives will abandon the GOP if the party ignores social issues. Blah, blah, blah. We've literally been hearing this threat from them for twenty years. Bryan Fischer proclaims that the Nevada rancher locked in a showdown with the federal government "is the most law-abiding citizens that you're ever going to meet." It must be nice to be... MORE >

Americans For Truth About Homosexuality head Peter LaBarbera is demanding the notoriously anti-gay Liberty University fire theatre artist Geoffrey Goldberg, who was hired to choreograph the school’s production of Mary Poppins, because he is gay. On Voice of Christian Youth America’s Tuesday edition of Crosstalk, LaBarbera and host Vic Eliason ganged up on Liberty University and demanded Goldberg’s ouster. Liberty University has responded to news reports by saying that Goldberg is an “independent contractor supplied to the university through a third-party... MORE >

Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality was not happy last month when Chick-Fil-A CEO Dan Cathy said he was going to stop speaking out publicly against marriage equality, calling him a “sellout” who was “hurting the cause.” The anti-gay activist was even further dispirited by the charity World Vision’s decision – since reversed – to recognize the marriages of its gay employees. Speaking with talk show host Janet Mefferd yesterday, LaBarbera told evangelicals that you can’t “call yourself a Christian” and also... MORE >

Last week, Chick-fil-A CEO Dan Cathy told the Atlanta Journal-Constitution that he was not going to be weighing in publicly on the issue of marriage equality any longer, saying he had learned from his mistakes when his set off a controversy over the issue back in 2012. Cathy's new position is not sitting well with Bryan Fischer or Peter LaBarbera, who accused him of selling out the entire anti-gay movement. "For him now to say I'm going to pull back," fumed LaBarbera, "seems to be just a complete sell out." LaBarbera went on to lament that gay activists are playing... MORE >

On The Janet Mefferd Show yesterday, Peter LaBarbera of Americans For Truth About Homosexuality praised “countries like Uganda and Jamaica” for refusing to “follow the American path” and passing draconian anti-gay laws. He warned that the decriminalization of homosexuality opens a “Pandora’s box” and countries like Uganda “don’t want to learn this from America, we’ve become a very decadent nation and they want to preserve Judeo-Christian morals.” LaBarbera also waxed nostalgic for the good ol’ days when homosexuality was... Phyllis Schlafly must protect her good name from her own nephew because "alcohol has a connotation that is the opposite of conservative values." Bryan Fischer sours on Rand Paul and warms to Ted Cruz. Speaking of Cruz, he told a gathering of home-schoolers in Iowa that "school choice is the civil rights issue of the 21st century." A homicide detective will apply "his cold case investigation skills to the Bible" to determine if the evidence of "Jesus' death [will] stand up to today's standards for reliable eyewitness testimony" at...
