Cindy Jacobs' Five-Year-Old Daughter Can Stop Tornadoes

We already know that self-proclaimed prophet Cindy Jacobs has thwarted terrorist attacks and attempted coups with her prayers, but we learned in the latest episode of her show, God Knows, that supernatural powers apparently run in her bloodline. Jacobs’ husband Mike revealed on the show that their five-year-old daughter stopped tornadoes by simply shouting: “I told you to be quiet in Jesus’ name!”

Jacobs Claims to have Thwarted Numerous Terrorist Attacks

Self-proclaimed “prophets” Mike and Cindy Jacobs of Generals International continued to spew their predictions about terrorism, natural disasters and economic turmoil on their show God Knows. Jacobs—who previously alleged that she helped avert bombings—revealed that she along with other prophets were having dreams in 2011 about a looming terrorist attack, and explains that their visions were confirmed by the events in Benghazi.

Mike Jacobs contended that there were even more terrorist plots, but that they had been thwarted by “the prayer cover that has been placed over the United States by various prayer groups and individuals praying.”

Jacobs: People will be Required to get a RFID Implant to Receive Health Care

Earlier this year, Cindy Jacobs unveiled a new and improved United States Reformation Prayer Network which promised to "make a major shift in 2012" for this nation through targeted prayer that impact "some of the most significant decisions in the history of the United States." And for a mere $15 a year, anyone could become a part of the effort.

But it seems like the USRPN needs more supporters, as Cindy and Mike Jacobs released a video earlier this week touting the importance of the effort and urging people to join. In it, they attempted to convince viewers of the value of signing up by listing some of the ways in which the USRPN has been active already this year along with the sorts of information that only USRPN subscribers have gotten ... such as the news that the health care reform legislation apparently requires everyone to get an RFID chip implanted in their finger in order to receive health care:

Cindy Jacobs Claims American Schools Had No Problems Before 1962

Cindy Jacobs and her husband Mike on God Knows discussed a recent meeting they had with right-wing pseudo-historian David Barton where they agreed that problems such as “teen suicide, rape, murder [and] assault” are a result of a 1962 Supreme Court decision barring school-organized prayer. Claims that the Supreme Court’s ruling in Engel v. Vitale is responsible for America’s cultural and moral decline are commonplace in the Religious Right, and Barton even started his career by blaming the decision for a decline in SAT scores.

According to Cindy Jacobs, public schools in the U.S. had no problems besides “cutting in line” and “throwing spit wads” before 1962. Of course, Jacobs seems to ignore the egregious discrimination that African American students faced in the era of legalized segregation followed by the de facto segregation of schools, and even in integrated schools students like the Little Rock Nine in 1957 faced far more problems that spit wads.

While she argued that the end of school-organized prayer led to “every evil thing” in America today, her husband claimed that a recent meeting of prophets decided that the European Union’s current “fiscal hardships” are a result of the fact that “they refused to acknowledge God.” What they fail to mention is that Greece, the EU country facing the most severe financial problems, like other European nations actually has an official state church.

Watch:

Cindy Jacobs: 1962, when prayer was taken out of our schools by the Supreme Court, and in 1967 when Bible reading was taken out of our public schools, what happened? I mean in ’62 our biggest problem that we had in the United States was cutting in line, throwing spit wads.

Cindy Jacobs: Yeah, these were our problems, after we took the law of God out of our school, what happened? Teen suicide, rape, murder, assault, kids bringing guns to school, does it matter whether we pray? Absolutely it matters. Does it matter whether we read the Bible? Absolutely it matters. You know Mike when we were kids here in the state of Texas, we began our school with prayer and we prayed in the name of Jesus, I mean nobody was forced to do it, they didn’t have to do it, and then we read the Bible and nobody complained. It was amazing what happened in the nation, but when you take out God out of the house, God out of the schools, what happens is every evil thing comes in, there’s a void place.

Mike Jacobs: Remember the prophets were talking specifically about the European Union and that one of the curses that’s on them right now, one of the reasons they are enduring some of the financial, fiscal hardships right now, is they said when they were doing the founding documents, they refused to acknowledge God.

Cindy Jacobs: That’s right, it’s not in there.

Mike Jacobs: Bill Clinton Unleashed a 'Demonic' Outpouring of 'Sex Parties'

Self-proclaimed prophet Cindy Jacobs and her husband Mike recently hosted Rebecca Greenwood, who like Jacobs is a leading figure in the New Apostolic Reformation, to discuss ways how to cast demons out of people who view pornography. Like American Family Association spokesman Bryan Fischer, Mike blamed incidents of oral sex on President Bill Clinton. He said that Clinton helped bring about “an outpouring of demonic into our nation” as “kids started having sex parties where they were having oral sex” because Clinton “took it out of the dimension of being wrong.”

Watch:

The Bible talks about the sins of the fathers, that doesn’t necessarily mean your natural father. I remember some years ago when the President of the United States was caught engaging in oral sex. Cindy and I talked to ourselves and we said, this is going to open a door that is going to cause an outpouring of demonic into our nation. We’ve seen that happen, I believe you can show statistically that things that we did not encounter, that were not an issue in our nation, all of the sudden, kids started having sex parties where they were having oral sex. Why? Because the President said because, ‘oh that’s not really sex.’ So it took it out of the dimension of being wrong and so it opened the door for the future generations.

Brown: "Hypersensitive" Gays Want To Put Christians Into Jail

Cindy and Mike Jacobs host a weekly television program called "God Knows" where they discuss current events, like how abortion curses the land and how such sins then causes natural disasters.

On the last two episodes, the guest has been anti-gay activist Michael Brown, author of "A Queer Thing Happened to America" who explained that the ultimate agenda of gay activists is to put Christians into jail:

Mike Jacobs: So what is their ultimate goal, Michael? Do they have an agenda that they're marching down a path with?

Brown: There are absolutely gay activist organizations with tens of millions of dollars of funding, left and right, corporate America backing them as sweethearts. Even out president supporting them ...

Cindy Jacobs: Oh huge, celebrating in the White House ...

Brown: With an absolute agenda. The agenda is the complete normalization of homosexuality and the complete removal of any opposition to it whatsoever.

Cindy Jacobs: And that's us.

Brown: Here it is in a nutshell: the activists who came out of the closet about forty years ago first said "we demand our rights." Then they began to point to others and said "you have to accept our rights." Then they began to point to conservatives, especially conservative Christians, and said "we're taking away your rights." And next thing, they want to put us in the closet.

Cindy Jacobs: Or in jail.

Brown: Or in jail. In fact an attorney friend of mine said "cycle it once more: it's not just they came out of the closet and want to put us in the closet; they were put in jail, they want to put us in jail."

When Mike Jacobs asked why this topic is such an intense issue that creates such heated reactions, Brown asserted that it was because gays are "hypersensitive" because they know are not "affirmed by God":

We Are Seeing Natural Disasters "Because Sin Has Reached Biblical Proportions"

As we have noted in our last two posts, Cindy and Mike Jacobs have dedicated several recent episodes of their program "God Knows" to explaining that the Earth reacts to the sins of man and that natural disasters are manifestations of that sin and signs from God.

In this clip, Mike explains that we are now seeing natural disasters of biblical proportions "is because sin has reached biblical proportions" while Cindy explains that, as Christians, they are not subject to these disasters and can, in fact, take authority over the weather "if we know what to do":

Jacobs: "Sexual Immorality" is Like Putting the Wrong Fuel into Your Car

On their recent series about ‘healing the land’ on God Knows, Cindy and Mike Jacobs contend that there is no such thing as private behavior because any “sexual immorality” is an “abomination to God” that will cause “defilement to come onto the land.” Cindy argues that God “created your physical body to have a monogamous relationship between a man and a woman,” and “if you try to do it another way” like adultery or homosexuality, then “it begins to break down the physical body.” “Just like if you put the wrong elements into your car or into something that is created to be made a certain way, it needs certain kinds of fuel” Jacobs said, problems will inevitably occur, and due to the rise of such sexual sin, “the elements are going crazy.”

Jacobs: Ban Abortion Because it Curses the Land

Self-proclaimed prophet Cindy Jacobs and her husband Mike recently featured a series on their show God Knows, on how natural disasters are caused by sins which ‘curse’ the land. Jacobs famously claimed earlier this year that freak bird deaths in Arkansas were a result of the repeal of Don’t Ask Don’t Tell, calling it a sign that “nature itself will begin to talk to us” when the nation makes a “decision that is contrary to the principles of God.” Cindy Jacobs said that abortion “hurts the nation” because as Mike explained, it brings “a curse on the earth, bring a curse on the land.” As a result, Mike said that they have “a biblical right, to restrain you from doing that” in order to break the ‘curse.’

Watch:

Cindy Jacobs: You know abortion is wrong for instance, it’s wrong to kill a preborn child in the womb. However, we don’t understand, not only does it hurt that baby, that mother, that family’s legacy, it hurts the nation.

Mike Jacobs: The recognition of that concept is very important because today so many people say, ‘Well if a woman has an abortion, that’s between her and God, that’s just her, and therefore you have no right to put a restriction or a restraint on someone from doing that. Again, totally unbiblical understanding of earth because in Earth 101 you would understand that any behavior that will bring a curse on the earth, bring a curse on the land, and would impact me, I have a right, a biblical right, to cause a constraint on that behavior. In other words, people would say, you cannot legislate morality and they consider that a personal moral issue. No, no, no, no, no, biblically, if you take an action that is going to bring a curse on the land I have a right, a biblical right, to restrain you from doing that.

Jacobs: The DC Earthquake Is A Sign From God To Share The Gospel

Cindy and Mike Jacobs of Generals International have produced a new video explaining how the recent earthquake that struck Washington, DC is a sign that "God is awakening his people" and pointed to this prophesy that Cindy delivered last year:

On December 31st, 2009, the Holy Spirit spoke through me and said, “I’m going to shake the earth. You will begin to see earthquakes—I am going to shake everything that can be shaken. Look where the earthquakes are hitting because God is going to release a wind of Pentecost in those places.”

...

There is no doubt that God is speaking though nature. The earthquakes also tell us that the earth is “groaning” for the manifestation of the sons of God.

In the video, Mike and Cindy explain how God speaks to mankind through the Earth when we sin and violate His laws and that we the earthquake - and the ones that are coming in the future - are signs that Christians need to go out and spread the Gospel:

Cindy Jacobs Prophesies a Third Party Led By Marco Rubio

Today, Cindy and Mike Jacobs of Generals International held a webcast to discuss the meaning of last week's elections and Cindy proclaimed that despite the Republican wins, the nation would see the rise of a third party based on God's righteousness that will be led by people like Marco Rubio as proof:

I feel like we're in a testing time to see what will happen because the Lord wants to marry righteousness and justice. And the Lord would say I'm going to marry these two things because I am both a righteous God and I am a just God.

And the Lord would say there are those who have been righteous but legalistic, and there's been those for justice, but it's been unsanctified mercy at the expense of the abortion of babies, says the Lord.

So the Lord says I am going to raise up a new coalition unlike anything that's even seen and it will come out of the church first, says God. And I'm going to raise it up and God says you will see that I will raise up the Rubios. Now I don't know if you saw when Marco Rubio lifted his arm he had a pro-life bracelet on him that Lou Engle and The Call kids [wear]. He had a red pro-life bracelet and I feel that is such a prophetic intersection of the generations.

I have to admit that I had not noticed that, but Jacobs is correct:

"God Is Going To Do Something Supernatural In These Elections"

Over the weekend, Cindy and Mike Jacobs of Generals International hosted a three hour event in Dallas, TX designed to be a "powerful night of worship and prayer for the elections and the state of our government in the United States."

During the event, they showed the video David Barton produced warning Christians that God will hold them responsible for how they vote as well as two videos produced by Jim Garlow who wanted to be there in person but could not attend.

I've edited down the entire event to a short, two-minute clip featuring:

  • Cindy Jacobs declaring that the Holy Spirit had spoken to her and declared that if Latinos would vote "righteousness" and support candidates who oppose gay marriage and abortion, then God would see to it that they get comprehensive immigration reform;
  • Tom Schlueter getting on his knees and dipping the US flag to God, asking Him to break any elected leader who will not humble themselves before Him;
  • Randy Delp "praying in proxy for those about to be aborted," by screaming "Let Us Live!";
  • And finally Jacobs again declaring that thanks to their prayers, "God is going to do something supernatural in these elections"

Beck, Barton, Six Degrees, and Seven Mountains

When I received email alerts yesterday from Wallbuilders, Renewing American Leadership, and the Faith and Freedom Coalition announcing that their respective leaders - David Barton, Jim Garlow, and Ralph Reed - were all going to appear on Glenn Beck last night, I knew something remarkable was going on.

As it turned out, these men with also joined by several other Religious Right leaders, including NOM's Robert George and John Hagee (John Hagee!?):

The discussion went pretty much as you would expect it would when a bunch of Religious Right leaders who are convinced that America was, is, and ought to always be a Christian nation team up with a far-right conspiracy nut ... so it is not really worth covering.

Instead, I want to use this to further explore something I mentioned last week in my "The Religious Right and Six Degrees of Dominionism" post: though not every person who shares a stage with a controversial figure can be said to share that figure's views, those who either invite such figures to participate in their events or else themselves agree to appear at events hosted by such figures are offering, on some level, their validation of such views.

In the case of last night's Beck program, it would be unfair to say that Robert George shares the radical views of John Hagee just because they shared the stage; but it is fair to say that Beck does, at least in part, or else he would never have invited Hagee on to participate in this panel.  By the same token, by appearing on Beck's program, George is signaling that he is entirely comfortable using that venue as an outlet through which he is eager to share his own views with an audience who shares Beck's views.

Which brings me to my main point: two of the men featured on Beck's program last night also appeared at Convergence 09:

Perhaps you recall our posts about Convergence 2010, where Janet Porter prayed for control over the media and Cindy Jacobs discussed her personal interactions with Jesus and conducted faith healings and Harry Jackson was declared to be a "modern day Martin Luther King" and Jim Garlow explained how he brought in Lou Engle to lead spiritual warriors in fasting and prayer to pass Proposition 8.

Well, Convergence 09 also featured Jacobs, Jackson, and Garlow plus several other prophetic intercessors like Dutch Sheets, Chuck Pierce, and Seven Mountains leader Lance Wallnau ... as well as David Barton.

According to the schedule, Barton spoke for three hours, but unfortunately I have not been able to find any video of his speech ... but he clearly was there:

And I did manage to track down this email announcement from Generals International announcing the conference - note especially the militant language and central role that spiritual warfare was to play in the event:

Mike and I would like to invite you to gather together with us and intercessors from across the world to raise up a prayer army to both awaken and reform this nation.

One does not have to be prophetic to realize that we are at one of the most serious junctures of history our nation has ever known. Some are even suggesting that the United States as it stands is in the balance. Critical times require us as intercessors and believers in the Lord Jesus Christ to rally for troop training. We need a new generation of Generals to arise and war for the soul of our nation!

With this in mind, we know that we cannot pray the way we have in the past season. We need new prayers for a new day. Every army has to come aside for training and equipping. They need to learn how to work with spiritual intelligence and use their weapons of warfare.

We have often said that if we want to see what we have never seen, we have to do what we have never done. This also means that if we want to see this nation not lose her destiny, then we are going to have to fight to ensure that we become the city set on a hill our forebearers fought for!

With this passion in our hearts, we are calling you to come and prepare for battle in what we are calling Convergence ‘09: Raise Up An Army! We have brought together one of the finest teams of equippers we could find to help us mobilize to change the nation, including David Barton, Dutch Sheets, Lance Wallnau, Chuck Pierce, Harry Jackson, Jim Garlow, Cheryl Sacks, Jim Hennesy, Klaus Kuehn, Mike Jacobs and Cindy Jacobs.

Again, I have been uable to find any of the video from the conference, but I did find these "action shots" of Jacobs performing some sort of faith healing on stage:

Now, I will admit that I have been following Barton's work closely for quite some time now and have never heard him talk about Dominionism or the Seven Mountains Mandate.  But I also had no idea that he associated with Dominionists like Jacobs and company either.

Barton is currently traveling the East Coast with Jim Garlow on their Next Great Awakening Tour and Garlow clearly has deep ties to Jacobs and Engle and Seven Mountains theology.

As I have said, there is a danger in playing "six degrees" with some of these connections ... but it is also completely fair to point out these connections, especially since they seem to be playing a bigger and bigger role within the "mainstream" of the Religious Right as a movement.

Generals International on Israel, The Oil Spill, And Demonic Vortexes

Yesterday, Cindy and Mike Jacobs of Generals International hosted a special webcast with Chuck Pierce on their website that focused primarily on explaining how the BP oil spill in the Gulf is due to President Obama's poor treatment of Israel.

Jacobs explained that years ago Bob Jones prophesied that following the death of Oral Roberts, the Gulf Coast would be hit with an oil spill and two hurricanes.  Apparently that prophecy is now coming true and it is because God is angry with Obama's attitude toward Israel.  Chuck Piece agreed, but also noted that God had sent Hurricane Katrina because He was upset about the United States' treatment of Israel and He intended Katrina to be a "purifying wind," but the US failed to get the message "so now look at the gunk that's coming up on top of us":

I should also point out that both Cindy Jacobs and Chuck Pierce sponsored and participated in Janet Porter's May Day 2010 prayer rally.

Frankly, I have no idea what they are talking about in that above clip, but apparently the idea that the BP oil spill is God's punishment for our failure to properly support Israel is becoming an increasingly accepted explanation.

But, it turned out, the real purpose of the webcast was for Cindy and Mike Jacobs to ask for money.  Generals International has been having financial trouble lately but had recently been offered a $15,000 matching grant and desperately needs donors to give money so that they can take full advantage of it.  The only problem is that GI has been under attack from four vortexes of demons which have been preventing the financial resources they need from getting through to them:

Cindy Jacobs went on to recount a recent instance in which God knocked her out cold while she was on stage preaching so that he could give her a vision of armies to angels descending to earth on horseback, but I didn't record that because she said they would be putting the footage up on their website soon and I didn't want to ruin the surprise.

Have I mentioned that Generals International is not some fringe group, but is actually a member of the Freedom Federation, the right-wing super-coalition that includes the Family Research Council, American Family Association, Concerned Women for America, Eagle Forum, Liberty Counsel, Traditional Values Coalition, Wallbuilders and dozens of others?

Cindy Jacobs' Prayer Warriors Target Prop 8 Case

Last week, Cindy and Mike Jacobs sent out an urgent email to their Generals International Reformation Prayer Network featuring updates on the Prop 8 court case from ProtectMarriage.com Executive Director Ron Prentice.

In addition to the updates, the Jacobs asked their "intercessors" to to "join with us in fervent intercession for the preservation of traditional marriage in the State of California and the nation" as they wage a "spiritual battle for the soul of the nation":

Why is this so important?  For a variety of reasons not the least of which is that the overturning of the Marriage Amendment in California by a Federal Court will automatically overturn DOMA, the Defense of Marriage Act on a Federal Level that declares marriage between a man and a woman.

God tells us in Genesis that His image is expressed through male and female and in Epheshians it tells us that marriage is to be a testimony of the relationship between Christ and the Church.  THIS IS MORE THAN JUST A COURT CASE THIS IS A SPIRITUAL BATTLE FOR THE SOUL OF OUR NATION!

This is not a battle against flesh and blood as the word says and cannot be won with carnal weapons.  It is a spiritual battle that must be won in prayer.

Please pray and fast through the day of the trial. Let us humble ourselves under the mighty hand of our God and repent and renounce all compromise, complacency and apathy within the church that has allowed us to come to this place at all.  Let us cry out to God for mercy, for Him to take what the enemy has meant for evil and turn it to our good and His Glory!

Always seek God for His Direction in prayer and then as lead agree on these Prayer Points:

  • For God's wisdom, protection and direction for Andy Pugno and his team
  • Pray for all veils of deception to be loosed off of the eyes of the Judge and the prosecuting attorneys
  • That God's presence, life, love, wisdom and truth prevail in that courtroom.
  • That every rebellious, defiant, angry, violent spirit be bound and forbidden from manifesting.
  • Pray God's tangible presence of love be all that people experience when they encounter Christians
  • Pray for a pre-triggering of every trap and snare of the enemy on the enemy's head (Ps 141:9-10)
  • Pray for God's word to be fulfilled for the destruction of the works of the enemy and the open show of the triumph of God.
  • For the souls held in captivity to the homosexual lifestyle to come to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ, that their eyes be enlightened to the truth of his love and saving power
  • Pray through the attached Questions for Closing Arguments submitted by Judge Vaughn Walker to the attorneys
  • Pray protection for all of the intercessors and their families on the ground at the Courthouse

GI's Reformation Prayer Network was created in order to ignite "a holy reformation in every sphere of society" in order to "legislate in the heavens through reformation intercession" and "turn the tide on unrighteousness in the nations of the earth."

May Day on the Mall: Lifting The Curse That Obama's Election Has Brought Upon America

On Saturday, May 1, Religious Right leaders and public officials will gather at the steps below the Lincoln Memorial to beg God to forgive America for having elected wicked leaders like President Obama. If you can’t make it to the national mall on Saturday morning, you can watch live on God TV or via webcast thanks to the American Family Association.

The "May Day - A Cry to God for a Nation in Distress" event is the brainchild of Janet Porter, a Religious Right activist/conspiracy theory-promoting radio host, and member of presidential hopeful Mike Huckabee’s inner circle. Porter believes America is under a curse for having “made the choice of death” by electing President Obama (even though God TV warned us not to). She announced the May Day event at last fall’s How to Take Back America conference.

Since then, Porter has lined up support from a significant number of Religious Right heavy-hitters like former Focus on the Family head James Dobson, who recorded an audio message recruiting pastors to get involved, and at least five members of Congress, including  Randy “Pray Against Health Care” Forbes (Virginia), Trent “Obama is an enemy of humanity” Franks (Arizona), Louie “Hate Crimes Act is a Pedophile Protection Act” Gohmert (Texas), and Steve “Know Your Enemies” King (Iowa).
