Farah: 'Homosexualists' Are 'Part Of A Religious Cult' Trying To 'Kill The First Amendment'

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah is fuming over the demise of the “right-to-discriminate” bill that passed the Arizona state legislature, arguing that Gov. Jan Brewer’s veto is “one more nail in the coffin of the First Amendment.”

In a column today, Farah defends anti-LGBT job discrimination and lambasts “homosexualists” as “part of a religious cult” that unfairly smeared the Arizona legislation in an effort to “kill the First Amendment.”

“Soon the land of the free will no longer be,” he concluded.

The homosexualists, who, whether they admit or not, are part of a religious cult themselves, went to work. Their friends in the media joined in the chorus, proclaiming the law would create Jim Crow-style situations in which a class of people would be denied service at lunch counters. And Jan Brewer vetoed the bill.



The kind of “discrimination” we don’t like is when people are unfairly treated on the basis of their race, ethnicity or religion. That’s what this bill sought to do. But is it wrong to discriminate against people on the basis of their behavior? Let’s say a male job applicant wearing a dress comes for an interview at your office. Should you be forced to weigh his credentials and experience on an equal basis with others who are dressed more conventionally?

I don’t think so.



On almost a daily basis now we’re seeing one more nail in the coffin of the First Amendment.

Soon the land of the free will no longer be.



For heaven’s sake, if you want a wedding cake with two men on the top layer, hire a baker who thinks it’s cute. Don’t pick the one with the fish on the window. And don’t kill the First Amendment over it.

5. Satan Behind United Nations

The United Nations released a report this month that is heavily critical of the Roman Catholic Church’s handling of sex abuse cases. Church spokesmen were outraged by the scope of the study. “The range of the report appeared to infuriate the Vatican,” the Washington Post reported. “In blunt language, the committee took particular aim at church stances on sexual orientation, reproductive health and gender equality.”

Austin Ruse of the Catholic Family & Human Rights Institute (C-FAM) blamed Satan for the investigation. “Only the Devil could tell children they have a right to sex and abortion,” Ruse said in a message to C-FAM members.

“This committee has basically said that children have a right under this treaty to have sex, to use condoms and to get abortions. And that Church opposition to this is a violation of human rights,” Ruse said. “This Committee actually told the Church that its teaching on homosexuality has caused violence against the same-sex attracted.”

“What these radicals need a good shaking.”

4. Immigrants Will Turn Us Into Slaves

Phyllis Schlafly has been making the rounds on right-wing media to push her claim that Latino immigrants don’t share American values because they are less likely to vote Republican and back a right-wing political agenda. InfoWars host Alex Jones strongly agreed with Schlafly, and warned that immigrants will team up with George Soros to “support literally making those of us that produce their slaves.”

“This takes us back to a democracy where two wolves can vote to eat the sheep for dinner,” Jones said.

3. Michael Sam Helping The Gay Antichrist

Southern Baptist preacher Dwight McKissic is joining other anti-gay activists in criticizing Michael Sam, the University of Missouri defensive end who recently came out of the closet.

McKissic is especially concerned that the likely NFL draft pick will “become the face of the ‘gay rights’ movement that takes us down the road to Sodom and Gomorrah at a record setting pace.” America’s transformation into Sodom, McKissic warns, will bring about the coming of the Antichrist, who he thinks will probably be gay.

2. Google, Gawker Are Persecuting WorldNetDaily

WorldNetDaily insists that Google is unjustly threatening it for violating the company’s ad policy regarding the use of “derogatory racial or ethnic slurs to refer to an individual or group.” Adam Weinstein at Gawker noted that the right-wing website has published 670 stories on “black mob” violence, while WND editor Joseph Farah offered a less-than-convincing defense of WND’s handling of race issues.

Now Farah is striking back, arguing that Gawker has pretty much ruined the Internet with its “venomous, personal, ad hominem, groundless attack” against him.

“It’s mean-spirited. It’s irresponsible. It’s childish and immature,” Farah writes in an editorial today. “You can see it for yourself, but I would caution you the coarse, vulgar language and name-calling is pretty rough. Don’t blame me. I’m just the target. Visitor beware.” Thanks to Gawker, this “early Internet entrepreneur and pioneer” is “starting to hate the Internet.”

Farah added: “I wonder if people like this Gawker guy would allow his children to read his posts – if he has children or knows any. I guess it would be even more disturbing if he would or does. What are their standards? Do they have any? Is it supposed to be funny?”

1. Gay Marriage Leads To Parent-Child Marriage

Mitch McConnell’s GOP primary challenger Matt Bevin is doing the best he can to link the incumbent senator to a recent federal court ruling that struck down part of Kentucky’s ban on same-sex marriage. The Tea Party-backed candidate told a Religious Right talk show host this week that if same-sex marriage becomes legal, soon parents will be able to marry their children.

Bevin’s campaign spokesman defended his remarks and accused Right Wing Watch of “gross misrepresentation” of the candidate’s comments…which we merely quoted verbatim.

Joseph Farah And Alex Jones Wonder If Obama Will 'Try To Stay In' Or Just 'Hand-Pick A Successor'

It was an exciting day for right-wing conspiracy theorists as WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah joined Alex Jones on InfoWars for a lively discussion of various elements of anti-Obama paranoia.

After rattling through conspiracy theories including the “civilian national security force” the “DHS ammo buy” and the “military leaders purge,” Jones and Farah turned to the president’s future plans.

“Do you think there’s any danger he might actually try to pull something and stay in,” Jones asked, “or just put so much evil in place that he leaves and then all of his operatives just keep running things?”

“I think a part of him actually is going to be tired of being president,” Farah responded. “I think the bigger danger is laying the groundwork for tyranny that cannot be easily undone when he’s gone. Maybe he’s going to hand-pick a successor, I don’t know.”

When asked in 2012 whether Obama might try to seek a third term, Farah said, “I wouldn’t rule it out.”

In a column today, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah takes issue with Bill O’Reilly for telling President Obama that his “heart is in the right place.” Farah writes that it is “entirely possible God is hardening the heart of Obama,” just as “God hardened the heart of Pharaoh to serve His purposes” in Exodus, in order to “deliver His people from bondage once again.”

He goes on to say that Obama isn’t a Christian but an evildoer who is trying to “make government our god the way the children of Israel made one of a golden calf.”

In Egypt, God hardened the heart of Pharaoh to serve His purposes. God sought to deliver His people from bondage in Egypt. Is it entirely possible God is hardening the heart of Obama today to deliver His people from bondage once again?

The Hebrew people were not excited about leaving bondage in Egypt. As bad as conditions were, the unknown frightened them. Even after the Red Sea was parted, saving them from annihilation by the Egyptian army, many sought to return to Egypt from the safety of the wilderness.

In a similar way, I believe Obama’s role is to force Americans to make a decision about their future:

I will believe Barack Obama’s heart is in the right place when he turns from his wicked ways, scrupulously follows the law of the land and listens not only for the voice of God but for the voice of the people he is sworn to serve.

Birther Leader Joseph Farah: I Am Not A Birther!

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah, one of the most outspoken champions of the birther conspiracy theory, is desperately trying to cover up his birther history as he encourages the Canadian-born Ted Cruz to run for president. In a WND column today, Farah insists that he never even came close to suggesting that President Obama was born outside of the U.S.:

Now I have seen dozens of blog postings and “news stories” about my commentary, and they all pretty much say the same thing – suggesting or outright stating that I peddled a theory that Obama was born abroad. This is patently untrue.

In the hundreds of thousands of words I have written and spoken on this subject, I have never theorized Obama was born abroad.

Actually, Farah in several WND editorials suggested that Obama was born in Mombasa, Kenya, based on a discredited claim that the president’s grandmother said he was born in Kenya. WND has also published many “news” articles and columns indicating that Obama was born outside of the US.

The WND editor adds that the Canadian-born Cruz is eligible to be president simply because he loves America and is much more patriotic than President Obama or even Hillary Clinton. He goes on to accuse everyone but himself of hypocrisy on the issue of presidential eligibility:

I’m actually being called a “hypocrite” today for saying I don’t have any concerns about Ted Cruz’s eligibility. Here’s why I don’t: The man has been forthcoming and released his birth certificate – even before his candidacy. It’s a Canadian birth certificate, as we all expected. It lists his parents – one a Cuban citizen who later became a U.S. citizen and the other an American citizen who conferred U.S. citizenship on her son. Cruz is in the process of renouncing his Canadian citizenship. He loves and reveres the U.S. Constitution as much as his Cuban-born father does. This is different than, say, Sen. Marco Rubio. Neither of his parents were U.S. citizens when he was born – neither of them able to confer on their son what the founders deemed “natural born citizen” status. The fact that he was born in the U.S. is of lesser, if any, significance.

Cruz has released all his papers without being asked – even before seeking the presidency. If someone else wants to make the case that he is not eligible, I’ll listen skeptically and respectfully.

Some of the attacks on my column have even suggested I “endorsed” Cruz for president. Listen, I like the guy, but he’s not even running yet. I like many potential candidates. It will be some time before I endorse anyone. To my mind, I’m satisfied. I do not see any potential for divided loyalties for Ted Cruz, which was the founders’ principle reason for including the “natural born citizen” clause in the Constitution. If he ran against Hillary Clinton, I’d enthusiastically support him. He’s much more of an American than Hillary could ever be.

But I’m not here to defend Ted Cruz’s eligibility. I’m here to say that America needs one standard of eligibility – not one for Republicans and another for Democrats, not one for conservatives and another for liberals, not one for people we like and another for people we don’t like.

Birther Leader Joseph Farah Has No Problem With Canadian-Born Ted Cruz Running For President

In another round of birthers embracing Ted Cruz, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah — one of the leading voices of the birther movement — writes today that he has no problem with the Texas senator running for president even though he was born in Canada.

Farah explains that because the “media elite” quashed his conspiracy theory that President Obama is ineligible to be president because he was born in Kenya to an American mother and a Kenyan father, it doesn’t matter that Cruz was born abroad.

Of course, the main difference is that Cruz was actually born in Canada — to an American mother and Cuban father — while Obama was born in the United States.

While Farah has made a career out of insisting that the Constitution requires the president to be born on U.S. soil regardless of the citizenship of his or her parents, apparently this rule doesn’t apply to Tea Party heroes like Ted Cruz…and it’s all the media’s fault.

With all this heavy-duty investigative journalism and newfound faux enthusiasm for the Constitution suddenly on display, it’s obvious the No. 1 fear among the elite media is that Ted Cruz might actually run for president.

They fear him not because he was born in Canada. They fear him not because of any concern for the U.S. Constitution. I will even be more generous to the Cruz smear machine than it was to me when I questioned Obama’s eligibility by rejecting the notion it is because the senator from Texas is Hispanic. They fear him because he is a bold, eloquent, charismatic, principled, committed defender of American liberty.

I have been labeled by the Big Media as “the birther king.”



So if anyone has the right and the duty to weigh in on Ted Cruz’s eligibility, it’s me – even though no one is asking.

My answer is, “I don’t care.”

I don’t care because the Constitution was not written and ratified to be applied to some and not others. If no one cared about Obama’s questionable eligibility, despite his shocking lack of transparency and thin paper trail, then they have no business questioning Ted Cruz – who has released his birth certificate, renounced his Canadian citizenship and upheld every provision of the Constitution to the best of his ability throughout his life.

For the record, I would have preferred if the issue of natural born citizenship were openly debated and discussed before Obama assumed office and began his all-out jihad on the Constitution. I would have preferred if my colleagues in the news media had taken seriously their responsibility to be watchdogs on government and hold all politicians accountable to the rule of law. I would have preferred if the motivations of those of us seeking the truth about Obama’s eligibility status and life story had never been impugned.

Farah: Obama Proves He's Evil By Watching House Of Cards

Joseph Farah, the editor of WorldNetDaily, is outraged that President Obama is a fan of the Netflix series “House of Cards,” and is particularly scandalized by the president’s joking observation that the show’s ruthless lead character, House Majority Whip Francis Underwood, is “getting a lot of stuff done.”

Anyone who actually watched the president’s comments could tell that he was clearly joking, but Farah claims that Obama is “shamelessly promoting” Underwood’s corrupt behavior and sees him as a “role model.”

“Is it appropriate, responsible and thoughtful for a president of the United States to champion blackmail, extortion, threats, intimidation, lies, provocation and murder as the best way to do business in Washington?” Farah asks in his column today. “He’s not even the least bit self-conscious about proclaiming his admiration for a character who is rotten to the core.”

We can only imagine how much fun it is to watch TV with Farah.

You can tell a lot about people by what they watch on television.

They say you are what you eat. It’s also true that what you choose to consume with the eye says much about your soul.



It’s about how corruption is the key to getting things done in Washington.

It’s also explicitly pornographic. You won’t see a single episode that doesn’t include the most ridiculous examples of gratuitous sex, meant only to appeal to the prurient interest of voyeurs.

All that would be disturbing, given the occupant of the White House has become a public promoter of the show. But it’s much worse than that.



So I have to ask myself: What is Barack Obama doing promoting this show? Why is he giving interviews saying he wishes things could be done the way Frank Underwood does them? Is it appropriate, responsible and thoughtful for a president of the United States to champion blackmail, extortion, threats, intimidation, lies, provocation and murder as the best way to do business in Washington?



But Obama is shamelessly promoting it without any caveats whatsoever.

Worse yet, he is out there suggesting Frank Underwood – a murderer – is a role model for him.



Make no mistake about it if you haven’t watched the first season of “House of Cards”: Obama has expressed admiration for a character who is a ruthless thug – a godfather-style figure who will use any means necessary to get his way.

Of course, that character is a liberal Democrat – so it’s OK.

None of this surprises me.

Obama is not a virtuous man of character. We know that after five years in office. But he’s not even the least bit self-conscious about proclaiming his admiration for a character who is rotten to the core – a cheater, an adulterer, one who even plans and executes the murder of a fellow member of Congress.

He’s setting a great example for the nation, isn’t he? He’s really raising the bar on expectations of the next generation, isn’t he? Is he going to recommend the show to his own children, even as he publicly extols it to the entire nation without any reservations?

We’ve come a long way since George Washington, haven’t we?

Farah: Don't Honor 'Unrepentant Terrorist' Mandela

In a column today, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah claims that the late Nelson Mandela was “an unrepentant terrorist” who should not be mourned. Farah takes issue with the federal government’s decision to lower flags to half-staff in honor of Mandela. Americans should “mourn instead for the tens of millions of innocent victims of Communism and other forms of totalitarianism Mandela promoted,” he writes.

Last week, Farah argued that Mandela was an advocate of white genocide.

WND's Farah: Nelson Mandela Was A Racist Terrorist

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah writes today that the death of Nelson Mandela should not be mourned because “the system Mandela’s revolution brought about” is bent on “the deliberate, systematic elimination” of the white race in South Africa.

In an editorial entitled, “Don’t Mourn for Mandela,” the right-wing activist claims Mandela was a terrorist and “the Mandela mythology is as dangerous as the terror he and his followers perpetrated on so many innocent victims – white and black.”

Apartheid was inarguably an evil and unjustifiable system. But so is the system Mandela’s revolution brought about – one in which anti-white racism is so strong today that a prominent genocide watchdog group has labeled the current situation a “precursor” to the deliberate, systematic elimination of the race.

In other words, the world has been sold a bill of goods about Mandela. He wasn’t the saintly character portrayed by Morgan Freeman. He wasn’t someone fighting for racial equality. He was the leader of a violent, Communist revolution that has nearly succeeded in all of its grisly horror.

You will read today many stories describing Mandela as a “political prisoner.”

In fact, he served 27 years in prison for 23 specific acts of sabotage and attempting to overthrow the government.

It was only a year ago that some of the international press began to report the truth about Mandela for the first time. Last December, the London Telegraph reported that, indeed, the records showed Mandela was not only a member of the South African Communist Party, he held a “senior rank.”

By the way, Mandela was offered his freedom while incarcerated many times. All he had to do was renounce terrorism. He wouldn’t do it.

Of course, it’s fashionable to forget about all of this today. Nelson Mandela is dead. He is being proclaimed a saint all over the world.

Nevertheless, these inconvenient truths need to be stated by someone because the Mandela mythology is as dangerous as the terror he and his followers perpetrated on so many innocent victims – white and black.

Farah: Tiny Klayman Rally Was 'A Show Of Force By The American People' That Will Save The Country

Earlier this month, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah wrote that “millions of tea-party activists are just waiting, like me, for an invitation to come to Washington to show the world some Americans still care about the principles upon which the nation was founded.” He got his wish with Larry Klayman’s event where, Klayman said, “millions” would “occupy Washington D.C.” for a “Second American Revolution.” Farah even spoke at the rally.

Of course, the rally was a complete bust. Only around one hundred Tea Party activists showed up, far from the millions Klayman predicted would “occupy parks, sidewalks, public areas” until Obama resigned or was forced out of office.

But Farah was so inspired by the tiny rally that he believes it will launch a new anti-Obama movement, lamenting that the media refuses to cover the “growing undercurrent of rebellion.” In a column this week, he describes the gathering as an event where “hundreds rallied near the White House to make the case for what amounts to a second American revolution through a show of force by the American people.”

“There’s a growing recognition that America is nearing the point of no return,” Farah writes.

Nobody is yet daring to address it in what is euphemistically called “the mainstream media,” but there’s a strong and growing undercurrent of rebellion among some of the most accomplished retired military brass in the nation.

Yesterday, retired Maj. General Paul E. Vallely made his most passionate and forceful case for the “forced resignations” of Barack Obama, Vice President Joe Biden and the top leadership in Congress from both parties for policies he says are “destroying America.”

He’s calling for massive demonstrations in the streets like the kind that brought down the government of Mohamed Morsi in Egypt.

“We are in a war for America,” he told WND.

He’s right.

And he’s not alone in making such dire observations.

Of particular concern to the generals – including Lt. Gen. William G. Boykin, a founder of the Army’s elite Delta Force, and Medal of Honor recipient Maj. Gen. Patrick Henry Brady – is what appears to be a purge of the top officer class in the U.S. military characterized by some as part of an all-out attack on America’s armed forces.



Yesterday, for the first time, hundreds rallied near the White House to make the case for what amounts to a second American revolution through a show of force by the American people.

Among the speakers at that rally was former Rep. Bob Barr who holds a unique role in American history. He was the very first member of Congress to call for the impeachment of Bill Clinton. It came at a time when the idea of impeachment was considered preposterous by the ruling class and the media. Yet, it came to pass within a relatively short period of time. Today, dozens of members of Congress are already on the record as supporting the impeachment of Barack Obama for high crimes and misdemeanors.

Those crimes have been well chronicled in the book “Impeachable Offenses” by New York Times best-selling authors Aaron Klein and Brenda Elliott, published earlier this year.

There’s a growing recognition that America is nearing the point of no return – a historic moment of critical mass, the threshold, the boiling point.

It’s all part of a conscious betrayal of the principles upon which America was founded. The only thing that can stop it is a massive outpouring of strength and force by the remnant of Americans who will dare, as America’s founders did, to sacrifice their lives, their fortunes and their sacred honor to preserve and restore liberty, morality and common sense no matter the cost.

It’s time to decide whether you will sit back and watch the American Dream pass quietly into the night or if you will stand up boldly and courageously in response to the clarion calls for an uprising.

GOP Congressman Trent Franks To Appear At Rally Calling For Obama's Overthrow

Update: Molly Redden of Mother Jones reports that despite Klayman’s claim, Franks’s office says the congressman will not be attending the rally.

Larry Klayman, the right-wing activist who hopes to literally overthrow President Obama, claims that Rep. Trent Franks (R-AZ) will address his upcoming coup d’état rally.

Franks and Klayman will be joined by right-wing leaders such as Larry Pratt, Bob Barr, Pamela Geller, Alan Keyes, Bradlee Dean, Joseph Farah and Zeeda Andrews, who believes President Obama might actually be Osama bin Laden :

Among speakers scheduled, according to the Web posting, are Alan Keyes of Declaration Alliance, Pam Geller of Atlas Shrugs, Floyd Brown of Western Center for Journalism, Joseph Farah of WND, Joe Kaufman of Americans Against Hate, Klayman, Bradlee Dean of Sons of Liberty, Vincent Forras of Gear Up Foundation, Belinda Bee of 2 Million Bikers to D.C., Zeeda Andrews of Ride for the Constitution and Larry Ward of Constitutional Rights PAC.

Klayman told WND that Rep. Trent Franks, R-Ariz., former Republican congressman Bob Barr and Larry Pratt of Gun Owners of America also are scheduled to attend.

According to the Reclaim America Now website, groups such as Accuracy In Media, GrassTopsUSA, Gun Owners of America, Pacific Justice Institute and several Tea Party organizations are cosponsoring the rally.

Klayman has suggested that there may be a violent revolution if his November 19 rally fails.

He issued a new Declaration of Independence to promote the rally:

  2. The rules of engagement, which favor Muslim jihadists, must be changed in order to preserve the lives of American military units.
  3. The attempt at socializing the United States of America by enacting the unconstitutional health care plan Obamacare must be blocked, and Obamacare as it stands must be repealed.
  4. The current administration must agree to significantly lower taxes for all U.S. citizens.
  5. The Internal Revenue Service must be abolished entirely leaving in place only a reasonable consumption or flat tax.
  6. Immigration reform is critical to our nation's survival. We must seal the borders and not allow any illegal immigrants into the country. We must come up with a plan that does not involve amnesty.
  7. The budget deficit must be significantly reduced.
  8. The president must submit himself to examination and appear in front of a citizens' grand jury to answer questions under oath regarding his illegal, treasonous and impeachable actions during his presidency.
  9. The president must provide a physical, original copy of his birth certificate to We the People and submit himself to the scrutiny of qualified forensic experts.
  10. The United States must not push for a Palestinian State on the West Bank.

Religious Right Self-Victimization In Full Force At Values Voter Summit: Fear Of Christian Concentration Camps, Bishops In Jail

After enjoying Glenn Beck’s speech about supposed anti-Christian persecution by the Nazis, participants at the Family Research Council’s Values Voter Summit attended breakout sessions focusing on how Christians in the U.S. are facing repression under President Obama.

In a breakout session entitled “Standing Up To the Assaults On Our Faith,” Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily alleged that the Obama administration’s supposed persecution of Christians is so bad that it is proof we have entered the Tribulation, a key period in the End Times. Farah cited Pope Benedict’s remarks “seemingly embracing homosexuality [and] seemingly embracing universalism” as further evidence of imminent doom.

Political efforts to curb the arrival of the Last Days are so few and far between, Farah said, that Christians can only rely on prayer. He urged attendees to “harness spiritual weapons that give us the real power.” Specifically, Farah called on people to join his 9/11 prayer initiative, which he hopes will guide their spiritual struggle.

Janet Porter [née Folger] also warned that the End Times are upon us, for which she naturally blamed gay people. She repeated her claim that gay marriage was responsible for Noah’s flood and announced a new project with Liberty University’s Judith Reisman to sue schools that “corrupt minors” with LGBT-inclusive curricula.

Vision America’s Rick Scarborough agreed with their dire assessments, saying that “infidels” now pull the strings of government. According to Scarborough, the Obama administration is “hell-bent on silencing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.” Christian unity, Scarborough feared, “is not going to happen until a bunch of us are thrown into concentration camps.”

He also concurred with Porter’s anti-gay rhetoric, telling the audience: “You are not born gay, you are recruited.”

The speakers on a later panel, “Where Do We Go From Here? Challenging Tyranny,” were just as pessimistic.

One person in attendance asked a question about the purported takeover of the legal system by “militant homosexual leftists” while another questioner, who said she was from Nigeria, claimed that the Obama administration is even worse than Nigeria’s former military dictatorship.

Kenneth Blackwell, the former Ohio secretary of state now with the Family Research Council, alleged that President Obama, through his supposed abuses of executive power, is giving cover to dictators who hope to undermine the rule of law. He described the President’s actions as a “disservice to humanity.”

Alabama attorney general Luther Strange charged the Obama administration with leading a “direct assault” on religious freedom and claimed that state anti-discrimination laws are inconsistent with the “fundamental fabric of the Constitution.”

Dean Clancy of Freedom Works lamented that the Supreme Court issued “tyrannical” decisions in Roe v. Wade, Lawrence v. Texas and US v. Windsor, accusing the Justices of “imposing [their] radical worldview” on America. To push back against the “tyrants” in “black robes,” he urged conservative activists to push for constitutional amendments to return power to the states.

Both Clancy and co-panelist Terry Jeffrey of CNSNews said that civil disobedience against the Obama administration is on its way.

Jeffrey predicted the imprisonment of Roman Catholic bishops, followed by the laity, under Obama, whom he called an “enemy of our freedom.”

He concluded: “We ought not surrender our souls to Barack Obama.”

Farah: Government May Deny Health Care To Create Society Of 'Dependency And Serfdom'

Taking a page from Bryan Fischer, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah claims that Democrats will use the Affordable Care Act to deny Americans health care so people can never “say no to Washington in the future” because they will be “dependent on government to see a doctor.”

Farah calls for the government to be shut down as long as possible in order to prevent this looming “future dependency and serfdom.”

“In some future conflict within government, how will Americans feel about being deprived of life-saving health care?” Farah asks. “In a future dispute over what deserves funding and what doesn’t, is it hard to imagine another Harry Reid holding Americans hostage by using the government’s monopoly on health care and threatening to shut all medical services down?”

The childish, predictably actions of Obama in scaring Americans and making them feel discomfort during this partial government shutdown only illustrate clearly to anyone with half a brain that this old adage is a truism that applies to the very source of this political showdown.

In some future conflict within government, how will Americans feel about being deprived of life-saving health care?

It’s not a far-fetched scenario.

Harry Reid said he didn’t care about saving the lives of children battling cancer. He wouldn’t vote to fund the program. In a future dispute over what deserves funding and what doesn’t, is it hard to imagine another Harry Reid holding Americans hostage by using the government’s monopoly on health care and threatening to shut all medical services down?

It’s not hard to imagine at all.

It’s as predictable as clockwork if Americans make the mistake of giving Washington this power.

Again, are Americans discerning enough to see what’s happening now and project into the future how government’s stranglehold on health-care options might be used like a sledgehammer to get whatever the Washington power brokers want? Obamacare could, if fully implemented, once and for all change the balance of power in the United States of America between government and the people.

Instead of being a government of the people, for the people and by the people, government would have monopoly power over life-and-death decisions it could hold over the head of its former bosses. Government officials would no longer be servants of the people, they would become their masters.

Do you think Americans are a little bit close to understanding the critical component of what’s at stake in this debate – and how it is evidenced by Obama’s desperate and sometimes shocking abuses of power to see that he gets what he wants?

Today, the government is shut down because of Obamacare. But, as a result of the conflict over Obamacare, we may be getting a glimpse into the future and the consequences of what the next government shutdown will cost all Americans. Imagine the next government shutdown. Imagine the next fight over a debt-limit increase. Will Americans dare to say no to Washington in the future when they are dependent on government to see a doctor?

Better to say no now.

Better to keep it shut down than acquiesce into future dependency and serfdom. This may be our last chance to preserve the U.S. as a unique and lasting experiment in self-government, limited government, the rule of law and the will of the people.

Farah: Navy Yard Shooting Part of Obama's Plan to 'Render the Population Helpless' Before Government

In his WorldNetDaily column today, Joseph Farah hints at what you might call a false-flag lite theory on last week’s Navy Yard shooting. While stopping short of saying that the Obama administration deliberately staged the attack, as Fox News regular Erik Rush quickly did on Twitter, Farah speculates that the mass shooting was all part of President Obama’s plan to “disarm Americans” and “control the population from the top-down.”

“This is going to sound brutishly harsh and judgmental,” Farah writes, “but, I believe, he is consciously using the escalation of violence his anti-gun policies knowingly and predictably cause to render the population helpless before a government with a monopoly on force.”

“Sometimes I fear there is a creeping resignation that these tragedies are just somehow the way it is,” he said at the outdoor service at Marine Barracks Washington, less than three blocks from the base where three women and nine men died in the recent Navy Yard attack. “We must insist here today there is nothing normal about innocent men and women being gunned down where they work.”

He couldn’t be more wrong.

It is normal to see increases in gun violence against the innocent when you strip them of their means of self-protection. What is so difficult to understand about that? It literally invites gun violence from those who are not law-abiding and who desire to inflict harm on others.

Unlike many of my friends, I don’t believe Obama is stupid. Nor do I believe he is incompetent. I believe he has another motive to disarm Americans – one that has nothing to do with safety. It’s about control of the population from the top-down. This is going to sound brutishly harsh and judgmental, but, I believe, he is consciously using the escalation of violence his anti-gun policies knowingly and predictably cause to render the population helpless before a government with a monopoly on force.

Again, let’s look at who the shooter was in the Navy Yard attack.

He has repeatedly broken gun laws. He was never prosecuted.

He was stark, raving bonkers, and the Navy Yard was even warned about him by Rhode Island police. Nobody paid attention.

He used a shotgun, the kind of self-defense weapons recommended by none other than Vice President Joe Biden. He still managed to kill 12 people and injure many more.

Isn’t it obvious all of the prescriptions of the Obama administration and the gun-grabbing crowd are doing exactly what they are intended to do?

Joseph Farah Blames Florida Facebook Murder on Liberals, of Course

WorldNetDaily founder Joseph Farah dedicates his column today to the Florida man who allegedly killed his wife and then posted a picture of her dead body on Facebook, which Farah of course argues is all the fault of liberals. Farah writes that the murder, which was all over the news, was in fact “not even news” because, in the words of Farah’s brother David, “our politically correctly liberal culture is condoning and glorifying all of this and calling it ‘tolerance.’”

The argument is hard to summarize because it makes no sense, so we’ll let the Farah brothers take it from here:

“On his Facebook page, Medina claimed to be a supervisor at a property management company and to have appeared in the Miami-based crime drama ‘Burn Notice,’ though his name doesn’t appear in online credits for the show. But he’s out there bragging: ‘I was on TV! I was on “Burn Notice”! I killed my wife; I put it on Facebook! Hey, Facebook friends, I’ll he see you later! You’ll be seeing a lot of me!’ My brother, David, sent me a note. He says, ‘You’re right about one thing, wrong about the other. We’re experiencing no greater depravity today than ever. It’s the same, because human nature is human nature.’

“Then he said, ‘I think there is a striking difference now in America, in that our politically correctly liberal culture is condoning and glorifying all of this and calling it ‘tolerance,’ and you know, that is right. That sort of rings the bell for me. That’s what it is. It’s not that it’s happening; it’s always happened, this kind of depravity. ‘There’s nothing new since Genesis.’ You’ve heard the old thing. What is bothering me is that it doesn’t bother as many people.

“It’s [Daniel Patrick] Moynihan, the ‘defining deviancy down’ business, and we end up condoning this stuff – and if we don’t condone it, we glorify it, because the left wants to take every one of these acts of depravity and use it to advance their agenda or an element of their agenda, such as guns or what have you. ‘We have to understand the rage,’ it’s said. ‘We have to be tolerant of people who have come from unfortunate, low-class socioeconomic circumstances.’

“It’s called tolerance and acceptance and understanding, rather than some of this stuff being condemned and dealt with, and that’s what’s disturbing. Then you add to it that the secular left, the people that traffic and love immortality, love throwing standards out the window; they don’t want any standards. That’s exactly what it is. It is the lack of being shocked, lack of revulsion, and even the laughing at and acceptance of this stuff. ”

Rush used the word “depraved.” He also described the news item as an example of the way “the descent our culture is taking [us] toward the sewer.” All of this is very accurate.

But we should recognize it for what it is: “The descent into depravity.” Of course ugly, sinful, immoral and repugnant behavior has been going on since Genesis. But today, it’s normal. It’s not even news.

And that’s how a nation, a culture, a society descends into depravity.
