Right Wing Leftovers - 12/7/12

  • The Supreme Court has agreed to hear two important gay rights cases involving California's Proposition 8 and a lawsuit challenging the Defense of Marriage Act.
  • Robert Knight is not happy about a recent gay wedding at West Point: "It's a disgrace that West Point allowed same-sex so-called 'marriage' in the chapel. That's a blasphemy against God. It goes against the Defense of Marriage Act, a federal law. It's a finger in the eye of God and the American people who still hold to biblical morality, and it was done deliberately."
  • Allen West spent four times as much as his challenger in trying to save his Congressional seat and still lost.
  • Joseph Farah calls for a boycott of the military.
  • Janet Porter is, once again, calling for prayer and fasting in a desperate effort to see her "Heartbeat Bill" legislation pass in Ohio.
  • "Kinky sex is the realm of the Jezebel spirit, which sanctions sexual immorality" and leads people into "spiritual bondage." So keep that in mind.
  • Quote of the day from Buster Wilson: "Those who wish to redefine marriage do so to satisfy their own fleshy lusts and perverted human desires only, and all the while wrongly blaming God for making them that way."

The Ten Most Absurd Stories at Rick Santorum's New Home, WorldNetDaily

Angling for another presidential run in 2016, Rick Santorum’s decision to join WorldNetDaily, the organization best known for promoting birther conspiracy theories, may not be the worst idea as birthers were projected to be a majority of Republican voters.

Finding the ten most absurd stories at a website which publishes multiple outlandish articles each and every day is a Herculean task, but here is a good start:

1. The Bible Code Forecasts a Romney Victory

WND’s “award-winning” executive news director Joe Kovacs just before the election wrote an article based on a YouTube video he saw about how the “Bible Code” prophesizes “bad news for Barack Obama” as apparently the “hidden texts in the Holy Bible indicate Mitt Romney will be America’s next president.” Not only would Romney win, but the Bible Code even predicted Romney will be a “fitting president” who has God’s favor.

2. Romney Can Still Win Despite Election Defeat

Tea Party Nation head Judson Phillips also works as a WND columnist, where he has argued that if enough states boycott the Electoral College, then the House of Representatives will get to pick the President and give Romney one last shot. “That is how we can still pull this election out and make Mitt Romney president in January,” he writes. “We need this concept shared with every tea party, liberty and patriotic group throughout the country.” Of course his proposal is completely without merit, but that didn’t stop at least one Republican state legislator from hopping on board.

3. Obama Building ‘FEMA Concentration Camps’

WND commentator and Faith 2 Action president Janet Porter wondered if President Obama was using the fears about the Swine flu to “round up American citizens” and put them into “FEMA concentration camps.” Porter has also used her WND column to push fears that Obama would enact “jail sentences for those who seek treatment outside the socialized health care system” and create a massive “food shortage” so opponents will be “starved to death.”

4. Obama Plans Negotiations with Osama Bin Laden

Porter in WND predicted that Obama bin Laden will be overjoyed by Obama’s election as President and will even be able to meet with him personally. Like most other predictions in WND, this one turned out to be false.

5. Obama is a Gay, Secret Muslim, Foreign-Born Imposter

The group’s most well-known “reporter,” Jerome Corsi, believes that President Obama wears a Muslim ring (confusing a loop-like pattern with Arabic), was married to his male Muslim roommate, orchestrated the murder of his gay ex-loverswas born somewhere outside the United States and his father may be Frank Marshall Davis.

6. Gays Behind the Holocaust and Preparing to Lead the Next One

WND columnist Scott Lively, who is best known for his work in shaping Uganda’s Anti-Homosexuality Bill, is the author of the book, The Pink Swastika, about how gays were behind Nazism and the Holocaust in order to have “vengeance against the people whose moral laws had relegated pagan homo-occultism to obscurity and ignominy.” WND Super Store sells his bizarre book and WND editor Joseph Farah eagerly endorsed Lively’s claim while warning that the gay rights movement may bring Nazism to America. Another WND columnist, Erik Rush, even maintained that gays are planning a Holocaust against Christians, and WND commentator Judith Reisman argued that gay-straight alliances are modeled after the Hitler Youth. WND’s Molotov Mitchell has also praised Uganda for making homosexuality a capital offense because the founders would’ve agreed.

7. Obama is Orchestrating the Next Holocaust

If gay people don’t do it first, then President Obama must be the one behind the next holocaust. Farah claimed that he discovered proof that Obama wants a new Holocaust in a speech he delivered at Buchenwald where he used the line, “We are here today because we know this work is not yet finished.” Farah admitted that he is taking the line, which was about the need to combat Holocaust denialism, out of context. But since Obama has a tendency of “speaking in code” to Muslim audiences, Farah explained, then he must be sending a secret message to Muslims to kill Jews: “So, I ask you, am I really taking Obama’s words at Buchenwald out of context? Or am I the only one seeing them in context?

8. Secession Now

WND is extremely sympathetic to the secessionist movement, they only differ on the reasons. Farah believes that America may be forced to “literally…break-up” the nation if states continue to legalize same-sex marriage and WND columnist Vox Day called for a white supremacist secession movement to repel the “African, Asian and Aztec cultures” and “immigrants from various non-European nations.” Mitchell even released a video criticizing Abraham Lincoln for his stance against secession.

9. Norway Terrorist Attacks a ‘Fabrication’ by the Victims

After far-right activist Anders Breivik targeted the left-wing Labour Party’s youth group and the Norwegian government in deadly terrorist attacks, naturally, WND suggested that the attack was a “cover-up” and a “fabrication of the Labour Party,” blaming the left’s policies for apparently encouraging Breivik’s radicalism. WND also is the home of Pamela Geller, who said that Muslims were behind the attacks and tried to justify Breivik’s actions.

10. Soy Turns Kids Gay

Yes, WND ran a six part series about how soy in children’s formula leads to “sexual confusion and homosexuality.” We only hope that WND commentator Victoria Jackson writes a column about her new idea that genetically modified food is “making more men gay these days.”

BONUS: Just today, Kovacs wondered if the Obama administration will construct the Death Star.

Farah Warns of an Obama Third Term

The folks at VCY America regularly promote all of the insanity posted on WorldNetDaily by its senior reporter Jerome Corsi, broadcasting his claims that President Obama’s wedding ring (yes, his wedding ring) transmits “secret communications” to Muslims and also publicizing Corsi’s “scoop” that Obama is secretly gay. Yesterday, VCY America’s Vic Eliason interviewed WND editor Joseph Farah, who claims that Obama won reelection due to voter fraud because his campaign accepted money from foreign donors (it didn’t) and stuffed ballot boxes in urban precincts (also not true). After ranting about massive voter fraud while not pointing to any real evidence of it, Farah then talked to Eliason about what he considers the all-too-real possibility of Obama undermining the Constitution in order to serve a third term.

Eliason: Interesting on Fox this morning, there is somebody promoting that there is a possibility if certain things happen that the President could be in for a third term, I got chills.

Farah: Listen, if you don’t believe in the Constitution and you’ve got a President who is not even eligible under the Constitution to serve, anything is possible, isn’t it? See the difference with the United States of America is that we’re supposed to be a country under the rule of law and that starts with the Constitution and that’s the most important law we have. And yet we ignore it every single day in Washington, every single day. Most acts of Congress are unconstitutional; we’ve gotten to that point. And the President has no—, he thinks we have a living Constitution that could mean whatever he wants it to mean. So hey, I wouldn’t rule it out.

He went on to claim that America is “on the brink” of losing “elections in the future” because of all the (non-existent) voter fraud and Obama’s re-election. He even took one last dig at Gov. Chris Christie for working with President Obama on relief efforts following Hurricane Sandy: “Unfortunately, instead of turning to God he turned to Obama for help, that’s the problem that we have in America.”

Farah: I don’t believe there is any way we are going to overturn this election because of what I’m telling you now, but what I am concerned about is this country, its future, elections in the future. We are very near the point, I believe, where elections won’t matter anymore. When elections don’t matter anymore, that means you don’t matter anymore, your rights don’t matter anymore. We’re on the brink of that. That’s why it’s important for us to make a lot of noise about this and demand reforms be made.

Eliason: The tipping point. I tell you we need to pray for our country. As we are facing the next four years, I was listening to some of the secular news this morning, they were talking about Armageddon.

Farah: They recognize it. A lot of things coming together at once, super storms and all these kinds of things, and it makes even the disbelievers believe, doesn’t it?

Eliason: You know I was on the air on our morning show talking about 2 Chronicles 7:14, but oftentimes we forget 13 and 15, verse 13 talks about the penalties and God’s judgment, and it talks about the locusts and the pestilence. I made a comment that morning just warning people that this may be God dealing with us, considering the storms and all of the things that are happening. I turned on the radio as I left the studios and here was Chris Christie and out of his mouth came, ‘I’m looking for the locusts and the pestilence.’

Farah: Unfortunately, instead of turning to God he turned to Obama for help, that’s the problem that we have in America. It’s a problem that we have in Israel, for that matter, Israel relying on its own strength and America’s strength for its survival and so forth.

Farah: America is about to be 'Destroyed by God'

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah has been beside himself over the President Obama’s election victory, writing that his re-election is proof that the U.S. is “where ancient Israel was before being destroyed by God.” He now claims that “the election, whether it was the result of voter fraud or stupidity or both, suggests America is turning rapidly away from God,” and now “we are in full apostasy boogie.”

Do you want to know where America is today in historical and biblical terms? It’s where ancient Israel was before being destroyed by God.

In Hosea 8, God speaks to the prophet about the precipice on which Israel stands: “They have set up kings, but not by me: they have made princes, and I knew it not: of their silver and their gold have they made them idols, that they may be cut off.”

We are in full apostasy boogie.

We have left our Judeo-Christian roots, values and heritage and are pursuing other gods. We think we’re too sophisticated for accountability to God.

God’s laws and judgments are, well, too judgmental for a secular and advanced society like America’s.

Nevertheless, the election, whether it was the result of voter fraud or stupidity or both, suggests America is turning rapidly away from God.

In America we are not only repeating the ancient vows, we are re-enacting the plot. We are indeed setting up kings, without regard to God. We are making princes who He knows not. And we are making idols of material things, so that we may be cut off.

Lord help us.

Right Wing Leftovers - 11/14/12

  • Gary Cass says that progressive Christians "cherry pick things in the Bible they prefer and despise the rest. This is intellectually dishonest and hypocritical. By exalting their own ideas of morality, they have cut themselves off from God and His revelation. They have made themselves their own god, therefore they have become God’s enemy."
  • David Lane blasts Jim Daly for supposedly flying the “white flag of surrender” to the Right's political opponents on social issues.
  • Gary Bauer declares that "the Left is determined to 'fundamentally transform' this country, and it fights day after day after day. It never gives up and we cannot either!"
  • It seems that President Obama has been chosen by God "like Nebuchadnezzar of Babylon, whose insane capriciousness enlarged the voice of godly prophet Daniel in the midst of a godless culture."
  • CWA's Penny Nance tells the GOP "we will leave you if you betray us" on the issue of abortion.
  • Finally, Joseph Farah says God's judgment will soon fall on America and Christians have to "figure out ways to insulate ourselves from what they are bringing down on all of us. We need to be prepared for the economic calamity they are causing. We need to be prepared for the spiritual judgment they are bringing down on all of us. We need to be prepared for the repression they will inflict on us. And we need to be prepared to rebuild what they are destroying."

Joseph Farah Compares himself to Martin Luther King over his Voter Fraud Conspiracy Theory

Naturally, the far-right fringe is blaming Obama’s election victory on voter fraud. WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah released a new column which started with the line, “I am not a conspiracy theorist.” Farah said that Obama must have won through fraud because he won in states with Republican governors and legislatures, and also claimed that Obama “welcomed foreign contributions,” including one donation under “the name Osama bin Laden.” The bin Laden donation hoax has been debunked before – the Obama campaign notes that while some contributions “may have initially appeared to have gone through when the donor completed the transaction,” they were later rejected.

Tim Wildmon of the American Family Association and his fellow staff members appear to believe any conspiratorial column which reaches their desk, and so he once again invited Farah onto his radio show to explain how voter fraud swung the election to Obama, since it is inconceivable to them that the majority of Americans would vote for him.

But Farah said that WND’s possibly illegal donation to Obama using bin Laden’s name is just like “what Martin Luther King did, sometimes you’ve got to actually commit civil disobedience to get people’s attention to the injustices that are going on.”

Later, Wildmon talked about the decision by UPS to pull funding from the Boy Scouts of America over the group’s ban on openly gay members, which is making the prolific boycotters at the AFA consider a pressure campaign. Farah said that the decision is proof that the “culture is deteriorating” and urged Religious Right activists “to figure out how to reverse this or stop this real fast.”

Wildmon: Have you heard about the Boy Scouts and UPS?

Farah: I saw that and it’s just astonishing. It’s harder to get packages delivered—

Wildmon: I know, pretty soon we’re going to have to move to the mountains and live off the land. It really is and that’s why we here at the American Family Association, we don’t call for boycotts very often despite our reputation, and when we do we’re serious about it and we’ve exhausted every means of appeal to a particular company, like we have done with Home Depot and their sponsorship of gay pride parades. At the same time it doesn’t hurt to inform people about what these corporations do, if you don’t call for a boycott just let people know because if they do business with these companies and they might say if you do any business with UPS just tell your driver or your local office, ‘hey guys, you realize what you did, and I will have to consider how much business I see with you because of this,’ and that moves up the food chain.

Farah: Tim, I want you to think back to twenty years ago and try to imagine that we would have corporations essentially declaring war on the Boy Scouts of America.

Wildmon: We live in the Twilight Zone.

Farah: Try to imagine going back twenty years and you’d have a real powerful movement for same-sex marriage, and it’s actually winning now on ballot initiatives in several states, this is how rapidly the culture is deteriorating. It’s not happening in a vacuum, it’s happening because there are people and forces, powerful forces, that are making it happen and we have to figure out how to reverse this or stop this real fast.

Wildmon: That’s exactly right.

The Men of the American Family Association Explain how George Clooney Swung the Election to Obama

American Family Association president Tim Wildmon and research director Ed Vitagliano today spoke to WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah about how they are all still astonished that Obama won re-election. Vitagliano apparently did his research into the Obama campaigns strategies, and figured out that “they hooked women to Obama through these Hollywood stars” like George Clooney and Sarah Jessica Parker. Vitagliano said that our “devolved” culture has made women voters simply think, “‘I love George Clooney, George Clooney loves President Obama, therefore I love President Obama.’” Farah concurred and said Hollywood is “bombarding” Americans with “unconstitutional” and “ungodly” ideas, and asserted that even law schools no longer teach the Constitution.

Vitagliano: They said ‘what Hollywood star do women love’ and they found that they love overwhelmingly George Clooney, so what they did is they went and got George Clooney to have a dinner with President Obama and then they had a big fundraiser and they said to women, ‘if you want to have dinner with George Clooney and President Obama here is how much you pay per plate for this big fundraiser.’ They did the same thing in the east with Sarah Jessica Parker, who was a beloved icon of many women. So what they did, and it’s brilliant even while cynical, is they hooked women to Obama through these Hollywood stars. These women were saying well ‘George Clooney loves President Obama,’ and a fair number of them I’m guessing said, ‘so I love President Obama,’ and the same thing with Sarah Jessica Parker. That to me, and this is obviously an overstatement, that to me is not what the Founding Fathers envisioned that when they were hoping for a well-informed electorate being advised of the issues and studying the issues, no, what we’ve devolved to is ‘I love George Clooney, George Clooney loves President Obama, therefore I love President Obama.’

Farah: That’s right. We think these decisions that America made on Election Day every four years or every two years but they’re really not; how does George Clooney become this icon to women? How does Sarah Jessica Parker become an icon? That’s the culture that is operating 365 days a year, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, it’s bombarding us with these immoral, unprincipled, unconstitutional, ungodly ideals. That has an effect. You can’t deny that it has an effect. Who is speaking for God in our culture? Who is standing up for God in our culture? Who is standing up for the Constitution in our culture? Is it being taught in our law schools? Come on, it hasn’t been for years.

Farah argued that America is now facing God’s judgment and it is “going to get worse” because “the little pockets of blue are dictating to the big swaths of red.” Apparently, Farah hasn’t figured out that those “little pockets of blue” evidently have more people residing in them than the “big swaths of red” and that geographical size doesn’t determine population. Later, Wildmon expressed utter amazement that Americans re-elected Obama, and Farah said a person randomly selected from a phone book should have been able to defeat the President.

Farah: When you look at that election map and you see the big swaths of red and the little pockets of blue and the little pockets of blue are dictating to the big swaths of red. This isn’t new, this isn’t just in 2012, this has been the case for many, many years, every election in my lifetime has been like this but it’s getting worse. So what’s the answer? I think there’s only a couple of things we can do, we’ve talked about them before together, I think it is very important that Christians get down on their knees and tremble before God for what has happened to this country, what we’re going to be experiencing for the foreseeable future here and really take a good look at 2 Chronicles 7:14. That is not talking about the whole country coming to repentance, it’s talking about the people who are ‘called by my name,’ it’s us, it’s the believers, if we do this, God will answer. I really believe that, I think we have got to embrace that view very strongly in the days ahead. I do believe America is facing judgment and I think we’re in the midst of it and I think it’s going to get worse.

Wildmon: This was history made Tuesday night in this respect: a fellow won re-election for president who was by all measurements a failure, an utter and complete failure.

Farah: It’s so unbelievable, unthinkable, inconceivable, by what standard of measurement do the American people use to evaluate this guy? I mean if he was running against just some guy you picked out of the phone book you would have thought they would’ve rejected Obama because he is a complete and total failure.

Right Wing Leftovers - 11/7/12

  • Roy Moore, the "Ten Commandments Judge," was re-elected to a seat on the Alabama Supreme Court after having been removed from that very position in 2003.
  • It is amazing to see Newt Gingrich returning to his "reasonable and rational"  commentator persona now that the election is over.
  • Finally, Bryan Fischer knows how to get the GOP back on track: Rick Perry 2016.

Right Wing Leftovers - 11/6/12

Porter: Obama to use FEMA to 'Stifle Dissent'

As FEMA helps the millions of people affected by Hurricane Sandy, Janet Porter of Faith2Action is warning that the agency is actually out to suppress conservatives. Porter has previously suggested that Obama is going to throw Americans into FEMA buses and put them in internment camps, all while conducting peace negotiations with Osama bin Laden. Today she used her radio alert to warn that FEMA Corps may be “a standing army to stifle dissent.”

Is it a standing army to stifle dissent? That’s what some think the real purpose is for the new group that the government calls FEMA Corps. In September, the Department of Homeland Security graduated its first class of 231 students, consisting of 18 to 24 year olds who were recruited from the President’s AmeriCorps volunteers.

Some question whether they are really part of a new civilian security force that President Obama has called for in speeches. Reasons for the concern include FEMA’s 2,500 new armored vehicles that come complete with slots for machine guns.

I know it sound’s unbelievable, but so does the fact that Homeland Security has purchased more than one billion bullets this year.

It’s time to take a closer look into FEMA Corps!

FEMA Corps is actually a partnership between FEMA and AmeriCorps “designed to give members comprehensive skills to help relief efforts in nationally designated disaster areas” by training “young volunteers to physically and psychologically handle the demands of working in hazardous areas.” Fire Chief editor Mary Rose Roberts adds that “FEMA Corps members’ assignments can range from rehabilitating low-income housing, responding to natural disasters, cleaning up streams, helping communities develop emergency plans and addressing other local needs.”

In fact, 240 FEMA Corps members are aiding the response to Hurricane Sandy. But maybe they are going to put conservatives into prison camps? Who knows!

Not to be outdone, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah today argued that conservatives, veterans and people of faith all may be sent to jail if Obama is re-elected. He argues that Obama get rid of free elections and the media as his “biggest critics will be rounded up in the name of national security.” How? According to Farah, the new Homeland Security Partnership Council, which works with NGOs in responding to natural disasters and preventing terrorist attacks, is actually going to “deputize ‘community organizers’ like him to determine who represents a real threat to the republic.”

I know it’s Halloween, but this is more terrifying than ghosts and goblins and vampires.

I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again: If Barack Obama is re-elected Nov. 6 for a second term, he will declare a full-scale war on his domestic opposition.

There may not be another free and fair election in America.

I would expect due process to go the way of the horse and buggy.

I think he will move to shut down and destroy all independent media.

In fact, I think his biggest critics will be rounded up in the name of national security.

Last week, for instance, with little fanfare, Obama issued an executive order establishing something that sounds so innocent on the surface – but it could prove to be a vehicle for the kind of political putsch I am describing.

It establishes the “White House Homeland Security Partnership Council.”

Essentially, Obama wants to deputize “community organizers” like him to determine who represents a real threat to the republic.

If any Republican, conservative, independent journalist, pro-life activist, returning veteran, gun-rights activist, constitutionalist, Bible believer or critic of Obama thinks they will be safe in a second term under this would-be despot, they had better think again – real fast.

Religious Right Attacks 'Demonic' and 'Mean' Obama in Final Debate

"Mean," "Demonic," "Retard" -- just some of the words Radical Right leaders used to describe President Obama in his winning debate performance on Oct. 22. Find out who said what.

Right Wing Leftovers - 10/10/12

  • Joseph Farah wonders if President Obama was on drugs during the first debate.
  • It really is amazing that the Right treats Dinesh D'Souza as if he is some sort of intellectual.
  • Patrick Mahoney says Christians "must pray against the re-election of President Obama based on his radical and extremist policies on abortion, his redefinition of marriage, his crushing of religious freedom through the HHS Mandate and his lack of commitment to the oppressed and needy."
  • Peter LaBarbera reports that his organization has had its tax-exempt status restored.
  • Finally, Liberty University continues to defend Donald Trump's "get even" message.

Farah: Gay Rights Groups are 'Like the Anti-American Poofy Sect of the Taliban'

After their shortstop wore eye black featuring a Spanish phrase that translates to “you are a faggot,” the Toronto Blue Jays decided to suspend Yunel Escobar for three games, in keeping with the team and league policy against defamatory statements. The MLB had also penalized John Rocker in 2000 for making racist and anti-gay slurs in an off-field interview and suspended a Braves pitching coach this year who made anti-gay remarks and sexual gestures at fans, as it is within the league’s authority to reprimand certain actions of its players and coaches. Not according to the Religious Right, however, as anti-gay activists are now coming to Escobar’s defense.

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah said that the MLB’s actions represented a victory for the “gay gestapo” and “homosexual fascists – who are like the anti-American poofy sect of the Taliban,” and maintained that Escobar should be excused since, Farah claims, “you are a faggot” is used “far more often by homosexuals than by heterosexuals.” Scott Lively of Defend the Family International also loved the article, but doesn’t seem to know what a baseball looks like.

Are Mom and apple pie next?

Those may be the next targets of the homosexual fascists – who are like the anti-American poofy sect of the Taliban.

It’s not enough to institute speech codes in colleges and universities. It’s not enough to chill free speech in the media. It’s not enough to shamelessly parade their sexuality in front of America’s children on the streets, in schools and on television.

Now the crude, vulgar, name-calling, arrogant pink-shirt gestapo is going after baseball and other American sports.

Here’s the latest example: Yunel Escobar is a native of Cuba who plays shortstop for the Toronto Blue Jays. He probably thought once he left Fidel Castro’s island paradise that he would be able to speak his mind, joke around and not fear the thought police. Was he ever wrong.

A couple weeks ago, Escobar, like so many other sports stars, put a little message on the eye black they use to cut down on the sun’s glare. It said, “tu ere maricon.” In English, that roughly translates to “you are a faggot” – a term used, ironically, far more often by homosexuals than by heterosexuals.

Escobar will be required “to participate in an outreach initiative to help educate society about insensitivity and tolerance of others,” according to an ESPN report. Tolerance? Who’s being intolerant here? The gay gestapo – that’s who.

Yes, I think Mom and apple pie, 6,000-year-old moral standards and freedom of speech are all endangered species nowadays.

The American Family Association’s Buster Wilson railed against the gay rights group Truth Wins Out, which asked in a blog post if Escobar “deserve[s] a similar punishment for his use of an anti-gay slur” as the Braves pitching coach, a question which set Wilson off into another unhinged rant. Wilson called the “Big Gay” group “heterophboic, christiphobi [sic], and conservaphobic” and claimed “Big Gay wants to take over our lives and see us harmed, censored, and punished in some way when we speak the truth of the Big Gay agenda against those of us who believe in traditional values!”

Read this and see if this hate filled, heterophobic, christiphobic, and conservaphobic group doesn’t want to stifle your free speech in this country!

But, I would fight for this ball player’s right to speak his mind in this country. It is a guaranteed right, constitutionally, in this country. So is Big Gay’s right to call us names. But the name callers in this country, though they have the right to do so, will never be considered a serious part of the discussion because they are name callers. This ball player has every right to speak in this way without the fear of losing job or income simply because TWO and Big Gay are offended.

But I would never advocate that anyone lose income simply for something they said. And NO, that’s never been what ANY of AFA’s boycotts have ever been about. So don’t come back with that attack, guys. It won’t swim.

They have argued that we are only spouting hate rhetoric when we say that Big Gay wants to take over our lives and see us harmed, censored, and punished in some way when we speak the truth of the Big Gay agenda against those of us who believe in traditional values!

Farah Remembers September 11 by Warning that Obama is Ushering in God's Judgment

When not peddling birther myths, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah has been warning of America’s imminent doom. To remember the September 11, 2001 attacks today, Farah pushed the work of a messianic rabbi who said that 9/11 represented divine judgment, and that the tornadoes that hit in Washington and New York last weekend were also signs of the ultimate “destruction of the nation.”

Is it possible that it has taken us 11 years to understand there was more to 9/11, the single most devastating attack on the American mainland, than met the eye?

I am convinced that it was intended by God as a wake-up call to a nation founded on biblical principles – a warning eerily similar to those ignored by ancient Israel before the judgment and, ultimately, the destruction of the nation.

• In June, Barack Obama, one of the three U.S. leaders who spoke the ancient vow of Isaiah 9:10, in his Inaugural Address in 2009, once again fulfilled the prophecy in June of this year when he scrawled a message on a steel girder on the new World Trade Center building, a message that would seem meaningless to those who have neither read “The Harbinger” nor seen the video documentary “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment.” It said: “We remember,” he wrote. “We rebuild. We come back stronger!”

• In 2007, the U.S. National Park Service banished God from a key display on the Washington Monument. It was an engraving of “LAUS DEO,” which is Latin for “Praise be to God,” on the east side of the aluminum cap of the Washington Monument. So what happened in late 2011? A highly unusual earthquake struck Virginia, knocking out power and cell service from Washington to New York. Only later was it discovered that the foundation of the Washington Monument was so severely cracked it has been closed to the public ever since.

• At the Democratic convention in Charlotte, for the first time in the history of the party, all references to God and Jerusalem as the capital of Israel were stripped from the party platform. But that wasn’t the end of the story. When news of the intentional omissions spread, Obama told party leaders to reinsert the references. When put to a floor vote of delegates at the convention, God was rejected three times by the party before leaders overrode their voice votes and reintroduced platform mentions of God and Jerusalem.

• And just last week, something even more bizarre occurred. Tornadoes, not known to hit Washington and New York – especially at the same time – did just that. And they did so on Saturday, just three days before the anniversary of the 9/11 attack.

None of this will mean much to you unless you are familiar with the revelations of “The Harbinger” and “The Isaiah 9:10 Judgment,” which show the significance of the shakings of America’s foundations that began Sept. 11, 2001, and continued ever since.

Fake Journalist Interviews Fake Obama about Fake Issues

At last week’s BookExpo America in New York, birther extraordinaire and WorldNetDaily editor-in-chief Joseph Farah caught up with Obama impersonator “FauxBama” and pressed him on his birth certificate and college transcripts. FauxBama, it must be said, was slightly more believable as Obama than Farah was as a journalist:

Before he landed his big FauxBama interview last week, Farah was best known for breaking a series of stories about things that never happened, like Obama’s birth in Mombasa, Kenya. Additionally, he uncovered Obama’s war with God, revealed that gays and radical Muslims are working together to destroy America, and discovered that God sent last year’s earthquake in Virginia.

Joseph Farah: Obama Is 'At War With God'

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah is upset that Republican congressional candidate Samuel Wurzelbacher, better known as Joe the Plumber, believes President Obama is a Christian (which he explained in a rather peculiar and patronizing letter to David Brody), because according to Farah, Obama “has been at war with God before he took office and ever since”:

But what is the evidence of Obama’s Christian faith? His attendance for 20 years in Jeremiah Wright’s schizoid, America-hating, Liberation Theology cult? What does this have to do the Jesus? Nothing.

Is this naiveté on Joe the Plumber’s part, or is this politics?

Where is the evidence that Jesus is the Lord of Barack Obama’s life? Calling oneself a Christian does not mean one is a Christian.

Yet, Joe the Plumber insists he doesn’t question Obama’s faith.

“I don’t question his faith, and when I read or hear people claiming he’s not a Christian because of this or that, I don’t like it,” he wrote in his letter to CBN. “[But] Barack Obama once famously told me he just wanted to spread the wealth around and I take him at his word about that as well. After three years of watching the policies he’s put forth, the agenda he’s pushed and the detrimental effect it’s had on our country, I don’t question it one bit.”

How about this?

• his support of same-sex marriage

• his support of open homosexual activity in the military

• his support of killing innocent babies in the womb

• his support for withholding life support for survivors of abortion

• his support for forcing those of Christian conscience to provide sterilization and abortion services to their employees through mandatory health-care programs

Barack Obama has been at war with God before he took office and ever since.

Farah: God Sent Earthquake to Punish America for Moral 'Lawlessness'

In a speech at a Strategic Perspectives Conference hosted by Chuck Missler’s Koinonia House, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah repeated his claim that the 2011 Virginia earthquake was a punishment from God for “lawlessness in our world today.” Farah described how he was “chatting on instant messenger” with Sean Hannity when they both felt the earthquake, messaging each other in jest, “It’s the end of the world.” He continued to say that the earthquake was not the end of the world but a sign from God that He will no longer tolerate “disobedience and indifference to Him and His law,” and warned that “you can safely expect many more signs of that kind and even more ominous ones.”

Watch:

When that earthquake finally hit, I was chatting on instant messenger with Sean Hannity.

Within seconds, we both messaged each other, simultaneously, both in jest, ‘It’s the end of the world.’ This is the thought that went through the minds of many in an instant, our world was shaken and when our world shakes there is really only one power in the universe who can do that, and it’s the Creator.

Why does God do that? I believe that He shakes us up in small ways and big ways as a sign to us of the consequences of disobedience and indifference to Him and His law. It’s really that simple, He wants us to return to covenant, which means living under His rules. Given the extent of lawlessness in our world today, I think you can safely expect many more signs of that kind and even more ominous ones.

Joseph Farah Explains 'What Same-Sex Marriage Advocates and the Terrorists of the Gaza Strip Have in Common'

While using the exact same arguments of opponents of legalizing interracial marriage, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah is joining with Bryan Fischer in asserting that gays and lesbians already have full marriage equality because they can simply marry members of the opposite sex. Farah claims that since gays and lesbians actually don’t face any legal discrimination, they only want to legalize same-sex marriage in order to “destroy” marriage…in the same way the terrorist group Hamas wants to destroy Israel!

Anyone in the United States can participate in the institution of marriage – if they choose to do so.

Homosexuals don’t usually choose to do so because they usually don’t want to be married to members of the opposite sex. But it’s their choice.

So why do homosexual activists make this claim? And how do they get away with making a patently false charge against a 6,000-year-old religious institution and the civil laws that it inspired? Same-sex marriage advocates no more care about the legality of same-sex marriage than Hamas cares about the creation of a Palestinian state.

Neither is interested in creating something new – something that has never been before. Instead, what same-sex marriage advocates and the terrorists of the Gaza Strip have in common is their desire to destroy something they find repulsive. In Gaza, it’s the Jewish state of Israel. Among homosexual activists, it’s the institution of marriage.

By making the bogus claim that marriage, as it has been known through the eons, is inherently unfair because some people don’t want to participate in it as it has always been defined, homosexual activists are able to establish for themselves what appears to be the political high ground of the victim. In exactly the same way, Arab terrorists are able to portray themselves as the victim by claiming they have been denied a state.

But scratch beneath the surface of these two movements and you will soon learn that their objectives go far beyond same-sex marriage and a Palestinian state.

It is amazing how quickly the same-sex marriage advocates have been able to rally support from the media, the cultural establishment, the government elite and the judiciary for a radical social experiment that challenges the fundamental building block of human civilization – the family.

They’ve done this by inaccurately portraying themselves as victims of discrimination. They are no more victims of discrimination than any other radicals who believe forcibly remaking society in their own image is their inalienable right.

WND's Birther-in-Chief Welcomed Back to CPAC

For the last several years, there has been a feud underway between various Religious Right groups and the organizers of the annual CPAC conference, primarily over the participation of the gay conservative group GOProud.

Religious Right groups had been boycotting the event in recent years, but the American Conservative Union, which organizes the event, got a new chairman last year who has made it a priority to try and unify the movement.  As such, GOProud has been kicked out and now the Religious Right leaders are flocking back to the event.

But it is not just Religious Right leaders that CPAC is wooing back, but even Birther king Joseph Farah of WorldNetDaily.  Since 2009, Farah has been on a crusade against CPAC, stemming mainly from a refusal to allow him to host a panel questioning President Obama's citizenship.

But it looks like any hard feelings between Farah and CPAC have likewise been patched up as Farah will be hosting a panel on Friday morning:

Santorum Wins Backing of Fringe Religious Right Leaders

One day before the crucial South Carolina primary, Rick Santorum is beginning to win the endorsements of not just Religious Right luminaries but also fringe activists, including some who previously backed the failed presidential campaigns of Michele Bachmann and Rick Perry. Santorum recently won the backing of Religious Right activists such as James Dobson, Gary Bauer, Richard Viguerie, Maggie Gallagher, Penny Nance and most recently, former Perry booster John Stemberger.

Today, Viguerie released the names of additional Religious Right figures that are supporting Santorum, including Paul Pressler, the Southern Baptist leader who hosted the recent Texas meeting of social conservatives.

But other Santorum endorsers are less well-known:

  • Elaine Donnelly of the Center for Military Readiness, who has dedicated her career to fighting the rights of gays and lesbians to serve openly in the military, argued that it would lead to a draft along with “forcible sodomy.”
  • Michael Geer of the Pennsylvania Family Institute who has crusaded against marriage equality, calling it a “tragedy.”

All in all, about the people you would expect to endorse Rick Santorum.

WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah is pleased with CPAC’s decision to ban GOProud, a gay Republican group, but thinks that the event's organizers should go even further and bar any supporter of marriage equality as well. Farah argues that commentator S.E. Cupp, who bowed out of the summit to protest GOProud’s exclusion, shouldn’t have been invited in the first place. According to Farah, no one can be conservative and favor same-sex marriage, which he calls “one of the most radical ideas considered since child sacrifice.” Hey, S.E.! It has been figured out.... WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah cites a new study which found that “suicide has overtaken traffic accidents as the leading cause of injury deaths in the U.S.” and blames it on the fact that public schools teach evolution, environmental science and comprehensive sex-education. He argued that the suicide rate has increased as a result of schools teaching children “promiscuous sex,” “that human beings are merely the result of billions of years of evolution” and that the earth “would be better off without us.” Farah also seems to imply that it is... WorldNetDaily’s Joseph Farah has a new project: erecting billboards listing the Ten Commandments in major American cities. So far, he just has a handful of billboards up in Las Vegas, but he’s hoping that eventually he will be able to fund “hundreds of thousands” of them across the country. Farah joined Janet Mefferd yesterday to talk about the campaign, telling her that our economic troubles are “just a symptom, frankly, of a moral problem,” namely that the national debt violates the biblical commandments against covetousness and stealing. Farah might be... MORE >

The Christian conservative magazine WORLD notes that while abortion is illegal in South Korea, abortion rates there are “double the U.S. rate.” As we’ve said before, abortion rates tend to be higher in countries where it is criminalized.  Tomorrow, Rick Santorum, Rand Paul and Tony Perkins will speak at the March for Life [PDF], while Speaker John Boehner will send in a video message.  New Mexico Republicans want to prosecute rape survivors who terminate the pregnancy with a felony charge of “tampering with evidence.” ... The right-wing press really can’t get enough of the comparisons of President Obama to Adolf Hitler and Joseph Stalin over his new executive actions and proposed gun laws, including the reauthorization of the Assault Weapons Ban. While the first Assault Weapons Ban that lasted from 1994 to 2004 didn’t produce a fascistic dictatorship, WorldNetDaily editor Joseph Farah writes today that “Obama’s gun grab” is how “every mass-murdering tyranny in the history of the world started.” Farah claims that the left will bring about “the end of liberty... While preparing up for the 2016 presidential election, Rand Paul visited Israel in a trip that “was arranged by the American Family Association and included 53 prominent evangelicals and conservative activists.” This wouldn’t be the first time the far-right AFA worked closely with a potential Republican presidential candidate, as the group also put together Texas Gov.
