Boykin: Communist Dictator Obama Is Using Psy-Ops On Americans

Yesterday on “Trunews,” Family Research Council executive vice president Jerry Boykin said that President Obama has committed impeachable offenses but is getting off scot-free because the president, with help from the Muslim Brotherhood and LGBT advocates, is “brainwashing” Americans.

Boykin said that Obama “orchestrated the invasion” of child migrants fleeing violence in Central America in order to “establish a voter bloc that would be in perpetuity would be a bloc for the Democrats.”

“It is treasonous behavior,” Boykin said, explaining that Obama should be impeached “but nobody is going to do it” and so now he is going to become America’s all-powerful “king.”

Boykin agreed with host Rick Wiles that Obama is employing Islamist-Marxist “psy-ops,” or psychological operations, to manipulate Americans in order to hold onto power.

“The Islamists are running an influence campaign, trying to change our thinking and you saw the evidence of that when the president stood up last week and said ‘ISIS is not Islam.’ That’s an influence campaign, that’s brainwashing the American people trying to get them to believe that nonsense,” he said. “You see that also with the Marxists, Marxists are doing exactly the same thing. The LGBT lobby is doing the same thing, they are bombarding us with this messaging that is really about changing the way we think, changing our attitude.”

The two right-wing commentators then agreed that Obama is a full-blown Marxist and “the first ‘Red’ president.”

Jerry Boykin Is 'Being Persecuted, Literally' For Being A Benghazi Conspiracy Theorist

Family Research Council executive vice president Jerry Boykin said in an interview on “Washington Watch” yesterday that people like himself who believe in discredited conspiracy theories surrounding the 2012 Benghazi attacks are facing “persecution” because no one believes them and dares to think there are political motivations behind their accusations.

“The plight of not only the young service men and women in trying to ensure that their government is going to come and get them, but there is a plight of persecution today of those of us who want to stand up and demand that there be accountability on this,” he told FRC president Tony Perkins. “They’re persecuting us, the leftist media is coming out with all kinds of accusations about what our intent is.”

“We’re being hammered by the media now, being persecuted, literally, by the media as being on a witch hunt and being people that are not willing to accept the truth that has already come out. The truth hasn’t come out yet.”

Boykin insisted that no one has investigated the Benghazi attack yet…even though, as Media Matters notes, the House Intelligence Committee, along with “the State Department's independent Accountability Review Board (ARB), the Senate Select Committee on Intelligence, and the House Armed Services Committee” have all “repeatedly debunked right-wing Benghazi myths that have persisted since the attacks, including the falsehood that a ‘stand down’ order was given to troops stationed in Tripoli and the myth that the administration lied about the attacks having been caused by an anti-Islam YouTube video.”

But who cares what four — including two GOP-led — panels found, because Boykin knows the truth and won’t rest until investigators agree with him.

He also made the extraordinary claim that his goal in promoting Benghazi conspiracy theories “is not to go after Hillary or the president.”

Boykin: Obama Can't Handle Foreign Policy Because He's Surrounded By Experts On Marxism, Gay Rights, And Climate Change

On yesterday's edition of "Washington Watch," Family Research Council president Tony Perkins interviewed FRC's Executive Vice President Jerry Boykin about the Obama administration's response to Islamic radicals in the Middle East, in particular the takeover of the residential annex to the U.S. embassy in Libya by militia forces, which Boykin declared was essentially an "invasion" of the United States.

"By international law, that is sovereign American soil," Boykin said. "We've been invaded, Tony, but you won't hear that out of this president or this media."

Boykin went on to assert that this incident demonstrates that nobody in the Obama administration knows anything about foreign policy because Obama has only surrounded himself with people who are experts on Marxism, gay rights, and climate change.

"I just think that our president is inept. I think that his administration is incapable of dealing with these foreign policy things. He's surrounded himself by people that advise him that the only thing they're experts on is Marxism, socialism, LGBT agenda, and climate change. Otherwise they don't know anything about foreign policy and he hasn't reached out to the people who do":

Jerry Boykin Edits Obama Quote To Claim He Ignored Murder Of Iraqi Christians

Family Research Council executive vice president Jerry Boykin yesterday charged President Obama with ignoring violence against Christians in his recent speech on ISIS.

Just like Religious Right broadcaster Rick Wiles, Boykin edited a quote from Obama’s speech to claim that the president is ignoring the murder of Christians.

Here is what Obama said about ISIS:

They have murdered Muslims, both Sunni and Shia, by the thousands. They target Christians and religious minorities, driving them from their homes, murdering them when they can, for no other reason than they practice a different religion.

Obama has also denounced the persecution of Christians in the Mideast in past remarks:

As ISIL has marched across Iraq, it has waged a ruthless campaign against innocent Iraqis. And these terrorists have been especially barbaric towards religious minorities, including Christian and Yezidis, a small and ancient religious sect. Countless Iraqis have been displaced.

And again:

We will continue to work with the international community to deal with the growing humanitarian crisis in Iraq. Even as our attention is focused on preventing an act of genocide and helping the men and women and children on the mountain, countless Iraqis have been driven or fled from their homes, including many Christians.

National Prayer Breakfast:

More broadly, I’ve made the case that no society can truly succeed unless it guarantees the rights of all its peoples, including religious minorities, whether they’re Ahmadiyya Muslims in Pakistan, or Baha’i in Iran, or Coptic Christians in Egypt. And in Syria, it means ensuring a place for all people -- Alawites and Sunni, Shia and Christian.

Orthodox Easter:

This weekend, Michelle and I extend our best wishes to members of the Orthodox Christian community here in America and around the world as they observe Holy Friday and the Feast of the Resurrection. For millions of Orthodox Christians, this is a joyful time. But it’s also a reminder of the sacrifice Christ made so that we might have eternal life. His decision to choose love in the face of hate; hope in the face of despair is an example we should always strive to follow. But it’s especially important to remember this year, as members of the Orthodox community have been confronted with persecution and violence, particularly in the Middle East and North Africa. For centuries, the region and the world has been enriched by the contributions of Orthodox communities in countries like Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, and Iraq. As a nation, we reaffirm our commitment to protecting universal human rights including the freedom of religion. And in this season of hope and restoration, we celebrate the transformational power of sacrificial love.

Jerry Boykin Wants To Know Why The US Didn't Kill Bowe Bergdahl

Yesterday, The Daily Caller posted an interview that Ginni Thomas conducted with the Family Research Council's Jerry Boykin in which he called for President Obama to be impeached over the Veterans Affairs scandal and Benghazi while wondering why captured Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl was not killed by the US government like Anwar al-Awlaki had been.

As Boykin sees it, the trade of five Taliban leaders in exchange for Bergdahl's return was "so phony" because Bergdahl was a known deserter who was no different than al-Awlaki.

"Al-Awlaki was an American citizen," Boykin said. "He was assassinated by the Obama administration because he was a traitor, he had turned on America. I'm glad he's dead. I have no issue with that. But what's the different between al-Awlaki and Bowe Bergdahl?"

Saying that Bergdahl had already been found guilty of desertion by the military, for which the punishment is death, Boykin declared that "there's no logic" to the swap "except that this was all about closing Guantanamo and they had to have the sequence of events unfold the way they did so they could release these five people out of Guantanamo":

Awkward: Jerry Boykin To Speak Alongside Grover Norquist, Who He Thinks Is A 'Muslim Brotherhood Facilitator'

According to the schedule [PDF] for tomorrow’s Road to Majority summit, the annual event organized by Ralph Reed’s Faith and Freedom Coalition, Family Research Council vice president Jerry Boykin’s address will be followed by a speech by Grover Norquist, the Americans for Tax Reform leader.

This might be a bit awkward since Boykin has frequently smeared Norquist as a secret Islamist, claiming that the conservative lobbyist is a “is a Muslim Brotherhood facilitator” who “has been involved with some very questionable insurgent elements from the Muslim Brotherhood here in America.”

A similar episode occurred at least year’s Road to Majority conference, when outspoken immigration reform advocate Rev. Samuel Rodriguez was immediately followed by Eagle Forum head Phyllis Schlafly, who used her speech to call for primary challenges against any Republican who votes for a reform bill.

Richard Land And Jerry Boykin Claim Obama Is God's Judgment On America

On yesterday’s “Washington Watch,” Religious Right leaders Jerry Boykin and Richard Land agreed that President Obama is — in Land’s words — “a judgment of God on the United States.”

Land, a former Southern Baptist Convention official, blamed Obama for the current conflict in Iraq, saying that he lost the Iraq fight just as Americans abandoned the South Vietnamese.

Later in the program, Land reassured a listener who asked if impeaching the president “would start a race war.” Land responded that it wouldn’t because African Americans would realize as a result of the impeachment process that Obama “was doing things that were illegal” and so “ it would not break out into any sustained episodes of violence.”

Army Reprimands Ex-General Turned Religious Right Leader Jerry Boykin

Back in 2003, President Bush repeatedly rebuked then-General Jerry Boykin for giving public speeches framing the war on terror as a holy war between Christianity and Islam, speeches that also violated military rules.

Boykin then retired from the military and has since become a full-fledged Religious Right activist who campaigns against the rights of Muslim-Americans and gay people in his role as executive vice president of the Family Research Council.

The Washington Post reports today that last year the Army issued “a scathing reprimand following a criminal investigation that concluded [Boykin] had wrongfully released classified information" in a book he published in 2008.

The reprimand [PDF], released in response to a Freedom of Information Act request, says that Boykin “violated [the] Uniform Code of Military Justice” for his “wrongful disclosure of classified information” and “conduct prejudicial to good order and discipline in the armed forces.”

The Department of the Army found that Boykin’s book, “Never Surrender: A Soldier’s Journey to the Crossroads of Faith and Freedom,” had “disclosed classified information” and failed to undergo a “classification review before the book’s publication.” The reprimand goes on to cite Boykin’s “gross lack of judgment” and “unprofessional behavior.”

Boykin, however, insists that the reprimand was driven by politics:

Asked why he was reprimanded, Boykin questioned the Army’s motivation, insisting that he had received approval to write his book before it was released and that all information in it had been disclosed previously in other books, movies and news reports.

“You draw your own conclusions,” Boykin told The Post. “Why would they reopen it? What was the purpose of reprimanding me basically five years after they started an investigation? Did it take that long to determine whether I had written anything classified?”

Boykin told The Post that if he “realized there would be this many accusations hurled against me,” he probably would have submitted “Never Surrender” for a Pentagon review before it was published. He didn’t fight the reprimand because he was retired and did not see a point to doing so, he said.

“Any reprimand has to be taken seriously, so I don’t want to come across as flippant about it,” he said. “But at this stage in my life, it really hasn’t had any impact on my life like it would have if it had happened when I was on active duty.”

'Holy Laughter' Pastor To Organize Latest Religious Right Prayer Rally

Rodney Howard-Browne is organizing a Washington D.C. prayer event, Celebrate America, complete with a promotional video that includes a gay couple alongside images of a strip club, mass shootings, terrorist attacks, and Agenda 21 as threats to America.

Back in 2012, the preacher organized a right-wing prayer rally with Focus on the Family to coincide with the Republican National Convention, and the Family Research Council recently held a prayer meeting to support Celebrate America.

Howard-Browne is a pioneer of the Holy Laughter movement, which you can see on display here with Howard-Browne alongside the late Oral Roberts:

At another Holy Laughter event, Howard-Browne says he healed a man of cancer.

Jerry Boykin and Harry Jackson have also endorsed the event, with Boykin telling the Christian Broadcasting Network that America is “beginning” to “completely self-destruct”:

"At the root of America's problem, we really have a spiritual cancer that's been eating away at our nation," Bishop Harry Jackson, senior pastor of Hope Christian Church in Beltsville, Maryland, told CBN News.

Retired Gen. Jerry Boykin used to fight America's physical enemies overseas. He's now working with the Family Research Council fighting spiritual foes.

Boykin said without a Third Great Awakening, forces like those that took down mighty empires of the past will also bring down the United States.

...

Howard-Browne pointed to the epidemics of abortion and illegal drug use in the nation. "Three-thousand babies aborted every single day in this country. We have over 300 million people; we use over 70 percent of the world's drugs," he said.

...

They'll be holding 14 days and nights of mega-sized meetings and street evangelism in the nation's capital as America celebrates its 238th birthday. They're calling it Celebrate America.

"We've come to light the fires right in the belly of the beast, if you can put it that way," Howard-Browne said.

Boykin: Don't Ask Don't Tell Repeal Led To The 'Absolute Destruction' Of The Military

On yesterday’s edition of Washington Watch, Family Research Council vice president Jerry Boykin said that America is experiencing an “absolute destruction of our military readiness and our military morale because the leadership in our military has not been willing to stand up to the President” on issues like the 2010 repeal Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

Boykin was talking to host Tony Perkins about a recent BuzzFeed post that said President Obama “was unwilling to compromise with service leaders over DADT during a meeting in 2010.”

Boykin likened generals who supported Obama’s efforts to end the ban on openly gay service members to former general Harold K. Johnson, who regretted not resigning over President Johnson’s handling of the Vietnam war.

“I believe we have some people in the Joint Chiefs of Staff today who will live to regret the decisions that they’ve made in terms of supporting the radical policies of this administration,” Boykin said, before arguing that military leaders should have resigned to protest the lifting of the ban on gay service members: “It is a matter of honor, it is a matter of honor in doing what you believe in and standing on principle and not on career, career has to take a second seat to principle and I don’t believe that these guys are operating on principle.”

Land: We Love Gays Enough To Tell Them They Are Pawns Of Satan

Yesterday on Washington Watch, Jerry Boykin of the Family Research Council sat down with Southern Baptist Convention leader Richard Land to discuss of Military Religious Freedom Foundation founder Mikey Weinstein, who is loathed by the Religious Right for his work against religious coercion in the military. Boykin urged listeners to pray for Weinstein because “he could be just like the Apostle Paul, if we could ever get him to open up and see the light” and become “a tremendous asset in the Christian world.”

Land added that the Religious Right’s opponents are pawns of Satan who need deliverance: “We do need to pray for our enemies, those that oppose us, because they’re victims. Our enemy is the Devil, our enemy is that old lion that walks about seeking whom he may devour and who is the god of this age and the prince of the power of the air and he has these people in their thrall.”

The same goes for gay rights advocates who criticized the charity World Vision for reversing its policy on married gay employees, he said.

“It’s not that we hate gays, it’s that we love scripture and love gays enough to tell them what the truth is,” Land said. “And the truth is that God does not condone same-sex sexual relations, period. They are an abomination to him and if we really love these people we are going to tell them the truth.”

Boykin: Nothing Else Matters Besides Benghazi

Even after a congressional Republican report debunked the myth about a Benghazi “stand down” order, Family Research Council executive vice president Jerry Boykin told the alternative CPAC gathering today that the order did in fact take place and that the Obama administration is covering it up.

In fact, he said that the non-existent Benghazi cover-up is the most important issue facing America today.

This is about American character. If we don’t get to the bottom of this, there are a lot of other things in America that don’t matter. If we let this go, if we do not doggedly hound elected representatives in this nation to get the answers out, to get to the bottom of this, then a lot of other things simply don’t matter because this is so fundamental.

The 'Grover Norquist Is A Secret Muslim Brotherhood Agent' Conspiracy Returns Just In Time For CPAC

Anti-Muslim activist Frank Gaffney has unveiled a new petition, with support from Allen West and Andy McCarthy, demanding that the American Conservative Union kick Grover Norquist and Suhail Khan out of the upcoming Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC). CPAC had actually kicked Gaffney out in 2011 after an internal report found his accusations about the supposed ties between Norquist and Khan and the Muslim Brotherhood to be baseless and rooted in bigotry, but today the Huffington Post reports that Gaffney is embarking on yet another anti-Norquist campaign.

The conservative movement’s sowing of anti-Muslim paranoia and discord to help win elections is now coming back to bite it as even top conservative leaders like Norquist, who is married to a Muslim-American, are facing attacks.

At a 2011 right-wing summit, The Awakening, Gaffney was part of an event that immediately followed a panel featuring Norquist, where he delivered a presentation alleging that Norquist is “both enabling and empowering Muslim Brotherhood influence operations against our movement and our country.”

On his radio show last month, Gaffney said that Norquist is advancing the “civilization jihad of the Muslim Brotherhood.”

But Gaffney is not alone.

Rep. Frank Wolf (R-VA) denounced Norquist from the floor of the House for associating with “unsavory people and groups out of the mainstream.”

Glenn Beck and Jerry Boykin, the executive vice president of the Family Research Council, also dedicated an entire program to discussing Norquist’s supposed role as “a Muslim Brotherhood facilitator.”

Not holding back, anti-Muslim activist David Horowitz attacked Norquist as a “ practicing Muslim” who has “infiltrated” the GOP, and Robert Spencer said last year that Norquist’s presence at CPAC turned the gathering into a “Sharia-compliant conference.”

“They are enforcing the Sharia,” Pamela Geller said of CPAC after the summit rejected her panel last year, which she blamed on “the influence of what can only be described as Muslim Brotherhood facilitators or operatives like Suhail Khan and Grover Norquist.” She was still able to host a nonofficial event where one speaker said he was “proud” of attacks against mosques.

But perhaps our favorite rant against Norquist came from Cathie Adams of Eagle Forum, who said that she knows Norquist is a secret Muslim because “he has a beard.”

Boykin: When Jesus Comes Back, He'll Be Carrying An AR-15 Assault Rifle

Last fall, the Family Research Council's Jerry Boykin spoke at the WallBuilders' Pro-Family Legislators Conference where he declared that when Jesus comes back, he'll do so carrying an AR-15 assault rifle.

As Boykin explained once before, Jesus was a tough guy and real "man's man," and that is because he is a warrior who will come back covered in the blood of his enemies and carrying an assault rifle ... which is why every Bible believing Christian must own one as well:

The Lord is a warrior and in Revelation 19 is says when he comes back, he's coming back as what? A warrior. A might warrior leading a mighty army, riding a white horse with a blood-stained white robe ... I believe that blood on that robe is the blood of his enemies 'cause he's coming back as a warrior carrying a sword.

And I believe now - I've checked this out - I believe that sword he'll be carrying when he comes back is an AR-15.

Now I want you to think about this: where did the Second Amendment come from? ... From the Founding Fathers, it's in the Constitution. Well, yeah, I know that. But where did the whole concept come from? It came from Jesus when he said to his disciples 'now, if you don't have a sword, sell your cloak and buy one.'

I know, everybody says that was a metaphor.  IT WAS NOT A METAPHOR! He was saying in building my kingdom, you're going to have to fight at times. You won't build my kingdom with a sword, but you're going to have to defend yourself.  And that was the beginning of the Second Amendment, that's where the whole thing came from. I can't prove that historically and David [Barton] will counsel me when this is over, but I know that's where it came from.

And the sword today is an AR-15, so if you don't have one, go get one. You're supposed to have one. It's biblical.

Boykin Blames Obama For PTSD And Sexual Assault In Military

Family Research Council vice president Jerry Boykin yesterday blamed President Obama for the high rate of Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) and sexual assaults among military service members.

Speaking with FRC president Tony Perkins on Washington Watch about an Associated Press story on the increasing number of military officers leaving the Army due to misconduct charges, Boykin said that Obama and his “radical agenda” are responsible for the problems in the military.

Boykin claimed that leaders of “true American values” are “electing to leave the military” because the Obama administration “has proceeded down the path of social engineering in our military and forced its very radical agenda on our military" and now people with “questionable backgrounds and character” are taking their place, contributing to growing rates of “sexual assault and fraud and all kinds of things.”

He added that Obama is bringing “lawlessness” into the military.

Boykin even linked Obama to PTSD cases: “One of the reasons I think we see so much PTSD today is because of this lawlessness, it’s because of the declining moral climate and troops are in a situation where they actually don’t know what the standards are — moral standards, value standards — they don’t know what they are because they don’t see it at the highest levels, all the way up to the Commander-in-Chief, and as a result of that I think from time to time they do bad things that they live with the rest of their life.”

Another Benghazi Conspiracy Theory Collapses: The David Petraeus Hero Narrative

When CIA director David Petraeus stepped down from his post after an extramarital affair went public, former general and right-wing activist Jerry Boykin confidently claimed that Petraeus resigned in order to expose an Obama administration scandal surrounding the Benghazi attack.

Boykin, now vice president of the Family Research Council, suggested in 2012 that Petraeus was “held hostage” by administration officials and resigned because “he reached a point where he was unwilling to continue spouting the party line [on Benghazi] to the American public and continuing to breach his own integrity.”

Glenn Beck, who regularly hosts Boykin on the Blaze network, suggested that Petraeus stepped down from the CIA in order to reveal information about the Benghazi attack that could bring down the Obama administration.

But, stunningly, nothing Boykin or Beck said about Petraeus came true. In fact, Petraeus recently cited former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s “extraordinarily resolute, determined and controlled” handling of the incident as a reason she would “make a tremendous president.”

“She’d make a tremendous president,” Petraeus says in the new book “HRC” by Jonathan Allen and Aimee Parnes.

And for Petraeus, Exhibit A in why she would be a tremendous president is the very thing for which Republicans most aggressively attack Clinton: her performance as Secretary of State when the U.S. consulate in Benghazi, Libya, was attacked.

“Like a lot of great leaders, her most impressive qualities were most visible during tough times,” Petraeus tells Allen and Parnes. “In the wake of the Benghazi attacks, for example, she was extraordinarily resolute, determined, and controlled.”

Petraeus was director of the Central Intelligence Agency at the time of the attacks, which killed four Americans, including two who worked for the CIA and the U.S. ambassador to Libya, Chris Stevens.

As Kyle pointed out, the GOP-led House Armed Services Committee released a report today that thoroughly debunks the conservative conspiracy theories surrounding the Benghazi faux-scandal.

This is more bad news for Boykin, who predicted that the House would uncover a massive scandal and pressed Speaker Boehner into launching additional investigations. With his conspiracy theory unraveling, Boykin is even implicating Boehner in the Benghazi “cover-up” since the House investigations have failed to discover the “scandal” he is trying to find.

But don’t expect conservative pundits like Beck and Boykin to reconsider or retract any of their outrageous and delusional Benghazi claims that don’t hold any merit outside of the right-wing echo chamber.
