The leader of the Religious Right gun group Gun Owners of America is warning that the government, through the health care reform law and a new service program, is going after everyday Americans. Larry Pratt, the organization’s executive director who has ties to white supremacists, appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk to float a number of conspiracies. Pratt alleged that the left is to blame for the Benghazi attack because of its “profound dislike of self-defense” and refusal to “believe in self-defense either personally or as a matter of national self-defense.”

Later, he also spoke to a caller about the latest right-wing conspiracy that FEMA Corps, a program dedicated to training “young volunteers to physically and psychologically handle the demands of working in hazardous areas,” is actually an armed brigade that may be used to persecute political opponents.

Caller: They have this website, “FEMA Corps First Graduating Class,” somebody found it on ItMakesSenseBlog.com and it was like 231 kids and they’ve got 2,500 armored fighting vehicles ready to go, I was just wondering if you have spotted any of that information yet.

Pratt: Now that is very interesting that FEMA would have armored personnel carriers, that is what it sounds like you are describing, is that helpful in fighting the aftermath of a Hurricane? That’s really amazing. It shows the total disconnect of the federal government from the Constitution.

But Pratt wasn’t done yet, as he went on to say that Obamacare will help the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to “take away your guns.”

There’s a big one that doesn’t get much attention as a gun measure but it is, and that’s Obamacare. Obamacare among its many unconstitutional aspects, I’m sorry Supreme Court, has made privacy something that only applies between consenting adults but not certainly our relationship with the government. It says that all of our medical records are available to be pawed through by bureaucrats somewhere in Washington, looking for a reason to disenfranchise gun owners, to say ‘oh you have a medical diagnosis that means you might be a danger to yourself or others so we’re going to come and knock on the door for the BATF to take away your guns.’

Of course, the law that screens out people such as mentally ill individuals through the National Instant Criminal Background Check System to prevent them from purchasing guns was signed by President Bush, and the health care reform law [PDF] explicitly does not allow for a gigantic gun owner database or discrimination against people who own guns:

‘‘(c) PROTECTION OF SECOND AMENDMENT GUN RIGHTS.—

‘‘(1) WELLNESS AND PREVENTION PROGRAMS.— A wellness and health promotion activity implemented under subsection (a)(1)(D) may not require the disclosure or collection of any information relating to—

‘‘(A) the presence or storage of a lawfully possessed firearm or ammunition in the residence or on the property of an individual; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use, possession, or storage of a firearm or ammunition by an individual.

‘‘(2) LIMITATION ON DATA COLLECTION.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used for the collection of any information relating to— ‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition;

‘‘(B) the lawful use of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(C) the lawful storage of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(3) LIMITATION ON DATABASES OR DATABANKS.—None of the authorities provided to the Secretary under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act shall be construed to authorize or may be used to maintain records of individual ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(4) LIMITATION ON DETERMINATION OF PREMIUM RATES OR ELIGIBILITY FOR HEALTH INSURANCE.— A premium rate may not be increased, health insurance coverage may not be denied, and a discount, rebate, or reward offered for participation in a wellness program may not be reduced or withheld under any health benefit plan issued pursuant to or in accordance with the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act on the basis of, or on reliance upon—

‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use or storage of a firearm or ammunition.

‘‘(5) LIMITATION ON DATA COLLECTION REQUIREMENTS FOR INDIVIDUALS.— No individual shall be required to disclose any information under any data collection activity authorized under the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act or an amendment made by that Act relating to—

‘‘(A) the lawful ownership or possession of a firearm or ammunition; or

‘‘(B) the lawful use, possession, or storage of a firearm or ammunition.’’

Conservative talk show host Janet Parshall joined Crosstalk host Vic Eliason of Voice of Christian Youth America this week to promote her book, Buyer Beware: Finding Truth in the Marketplace of Ideas. The two spent much of the time discussing Parshall’s time working for VCY America, before becoming a leader of Concerned Women for America and National Religious Broadcasters, but soon began discussing a prior Crosstalk program that blamed Hurricane Sandy on the gay community. While Parshall said she is not in the position to say whether God used the hurricane to punish New York for legalizing same-sex marriage, she did claim once again that Satan is the main culprit behind the push for LGBT rights.

Parshall: While this gets debated in the halls of Congress and while it gets adjudicated from the high courts of this country, in the end this is a spiritual battle and we need to put on spiritual eyes and understand that the Father of Lies hates the model of marriage because it is such a profound message of Christ’s unconditional love for us, the church. So we begin to see all of these skirmishes, so battles for same-sex marriage are nothing more than the Great Deceiver himself still rattling his tail saying to a watching culture, ‘did God really say’? And the answer back from the church has to be without blush, hesitation or embarrassment: ‘yes he did, and here I stand, marriage is and always shall be one man and one woman.’

Homeschooling advocate Colin Gunn is unrelenting in his attacks on the public school system in his documentary, “IndoctriNation: Public Schools and the Decline of Christianity in America,” which seeks to end the teaching of evolution and eradicate the “sinful” and secular public school system that he says subjects children to the philosophies of gays, progressives, and abortion rights activists.

In an interview with Voice of Christian Youth America’s Vic Eliason on Crosstalk, Gunn asserts that even the school bus is emblematic of the United States’ “totalitarian education system.”

Gunn alleges that public schools are persecuting Christians and compares public school education in the US to Nazi indoctrination through the Hitler Youth. Eliason echoes Gunn’s abhorrence of the public school system. According to Eliason, the teachers in the public school system who do not uphold and instill Christian ideology are performing “mental molestation,” which deserves to be recognized and punished alongside physical molestation.

Gunn: Draw a parallel between Nazi Germany where you have an authoritarian government that took over the whole nation, partially through the youth movement by co-opting all of the youth movement into the Hitler Youth, and therefore indoctrinating them into the class of this unbelief and this idolatry of the state. And so sadly that’s what we’re seeing very much today and we wonder why, why can’t people understand the abortion issue or these other issues that are political—well it’s because they’ve been indoctrinated. And we really can’t fix any political issue until we fix the public school system, controlling the future of America by controlling the hearts and minds of all the children that are sent there.

Gunn: The nature of the public schools is it allows your child to be subject to those philosophies, whether it is gay rights or the progressives or evolution, if you send your child there be aware that he’s open to all of those views which he wouldn’t be if you kept him home or you put him in a private school.

Eliason: Right now the news is a blare with a man who molested children, and he’s going to prison for the rest of his life. That’s physical molestation. But folks, there is mental molestation going on in the public school, and the people are getting by scot-free. And I’m not criticizing many fine Christian teachers who are trying to do their very best as they are employed in the public schools, but the molestation is a philosophy that is being pushed over all that literally is a molestation of the mind and nobody has a penalty for that.

Gunn does not stop at equating public school education to Nazism. He further claims that the teaching of evolution can contaminate “the culture of a school” and trigger violent incidences such as the Columbine school shooting. Gunn cautions that the “faith of many children are undermined very quickly in the science class,” and that the Bible should be basis of “understanding of real science.”

Gunn: We cover the story of Columbine where a man loses his child to a system that teaches evolution, because as a result of the culture of the school, he lost his own son. So it’s really important to hear the testimonies in our film and be warned.

Eliason: I was talking to [Creationism advocate] Ken Ham about a pastor who was telling his young people, he said there are some people who believe in Creation in six days and some people who believe in the Big Bang Theory, but whatever you like that’s fine, and Ken put it this way, he said, if you can’t be sure about the miraculous power of God to create as the Bible says it, why should a kid believe anything else that’s in that book?

Gunn: Absolutely, I think the faith of many children are undermined very quickly in the science class when they’re taught and the Bible is literally discredited in front of them rather than it being an understanding of real science, which is creation science.

Eliason also alleges that the public school system is being pervaded by homosexuality, which he calls an “abnormal, aberrant lifestyle,” and claims that there is a correspondence between gay awareness and academic mediocrity.

The godless mentality of the issues of lifestyle, we’re talking about homosexuality being diversity, and pressing for diversity training to kids. And of course we’re not talking about hating people, but when you have abnormal, aberrant lifestyles that are being paraded as normality, isn’t there some wonder that parents would be upset?

Some years back, Colin, here in the Milwaukee school system, they had manuals, three ring binders, hard-cover binders, complete with about at least an inch of material that had been put together. And they had hundreds of these binders that were being passed out to the teachers. The binders and the booklets were made by GLSEN, which is the Gay Lesbian Straight Alliance [sic]. They were hoping to provide vital information to teachers as how to infuse the subject of homosexuality in a way that would give more normal handling of it, as they talked about Heather has Two Mommies, or somebody else has two daddy’s. And we’re seeing this type of thing along with the weakness of academic excellence.

Birther queen Orly Taitz remains isolated in her quest to prove that Barack Obama was not born in the United States and is ineligible to be president. In an interview with Vic Eliason on VCY America, Taitz alleges that Barack Obama’s Social Security number is invalid, insists that “we are getting very close to a dictatorship” in the United States today, and expresses disappointment that she has not received support from fellow birthers Donald Trump and Sheriff Joe Arpaio of Arizona.

Taitz claimed that Obama’s Social Security number is a “Connecticut number which was issued to another individual,” and states that the number he is using is “not a valid number.” She was stunned that her “persuasive” evidence was rejected by courts in Georgia. Taitz concludes that judges continue to shoot down her allegations against the president not because they are wrong, but because the conspiracy goes all the way to the top. Eliason affirms this belief, asserting that judges are merely “intimidated” by “dealing with a case that is so volatile, [that involves] the highest executive in our country.”

Eliason: I cannot understand at a time when the vetting of a presidential candidate, checking if they are qualified, how all of this can be just brushed aside like a fly on the table and ignored completely when there’s been an awful lot of evidence brought forth.

Taitz: You should ask the judges, people are allowed to write to a judge and ask those questions, I’m the person who brings all this evidence. You know I had a case in Georgia and there I spent a lot of money, I spent $14,000, I brought witnesses, I brought a senior deportation officer from the Department of Homeland Security testifying that Barack Obama’s social security number is invalid, that it’s a Connecticut number which was issued to another individual, we brought E-Verify showing that this number that he’s using that he posted on his tax returns that he put online that it’s not a valid number. We had all the evidence and at the end the judge there ruled that it’s not persuasive enough and to me it’s just hard to believe, how could that not be persuasive enough, when you have a senior deportation officer providing this evidence?

Eliason: Could it be Dr. Taitz that there are judges who are so intimidated dealing with a case that is so volatile, dealing with the highest executive in our country, and then to find — I think maybe there are those that say they are afraid of the truth because if this comes to light and it is verified there is going to be egg all over the face of who knows how many.

Taitz: Yeah, yeah.

Taitz said that her inability to remove Obama from the ballot is further proof that “we are getting very close to a dictatorship” akin to the Soviet Union.

Eliason: Folks the thing that has me bewildered, Dr. Taitz, is if someone is an imposter, someone who is portraying something that they are not, if they were caught flying an airplane and they weren’t a pilot or somebody in a bank that was functioning in a way that they were not qualified, you wouldn’t wait for six months or a year to deal with it, you deal with it immediately, why is it that elections suddenly bring immunity?

Taitz: You know I lived in the Soviet Union which was a dictatorship and now we’re seeing such enormous corruption in the government that we are getting very close to a dictatorship.

Yet even the greatest supporters of the birther movement have failed to back Taitz. Taitz was “disheartened” that Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio, a leader of the “Cold Case Posse,” did not show up at her trial to testify. Donald Trump has also been unresponsive to Taitz.

Taitz: I have to say that I attempted to subpoena Sheriff Joseph Arpaio and I’m really disheartened by the fact that he did not show up, we tried to subpoena him in Georgia, Mississippi and Indiana and I’m really concerned about the fact that Sheriff Arpaio went around the country, raised several millions of dollars on this issue, did press conferences, but when he is asked when appear in court, either he or Mr. [Mike] Zullo, and I was willing to pay for them to fly here, they are not appearing in court. That’s something hopefully your listeners will address with Mr. Arpaio because if he would’ve been here today there is a very high likelihood that the judge would’ve granted a preliminary injunction.

Taitz: For example, Donald Trump, you know he talks about this quite a lot but I don’t see him, I’ve never heard back, he never donated one cent, just to give you an idea, it is extremely hard for me to put up evidence.

We have been watching anti-Muslim conspiracy theorist Avi Lipkin making the rounds on Religious Right radio shows, and yesterday he spoke to VCY America’s Jim Schneider on Crosstalk about how President Obama plans to “Islamicize America.” While this time Lipkin didn’t talk about how the Free Masons and the Illuminati secretly control the world, Lipkin did claim that the “useful idiots in the Democratic Party, including many Jewish people,” are tools of President Obama’s Islamic plot. Lipkin warned that the pro-Obama “black agenda” is “closely linked with this fanatic Islam” and part of the push to make sure “America falls to Islam.”

Forget about Israel, America is the primary and ultimate target of Islam because when America falls to Islam the rest of the countries in the world will fall like dominoes, and so the effort of President Obama is to Islamicize America and that’s why I’m saying that he’s going to bring 100 million Muslims to America to do this. He’s going to bring 100 million Muslims from countries where they’re going to be starving and they are going to be starving because the Muslim Brotherhood is a crazy, failed system and they cannot feed their people. It’s very important for Christians and Americans to wake up, what is Islam? What is the leadership today of the United States? I think you have a lot of useful idiots in the Democratic Party, including many Jewish people, who don’t realize the big mistake that they’re making, thinking that the Muslims are the good guys and the blacks are the good guys. A lot of black people are good guys but the black agenda, which totally supports Obama, is very closely linked with this fanatic Islam.

Later, Lipkin repeated his assertion that Obama will use Agenda 21 to bring 100 million Muslim immigrants to the U.S., after stating that he and his wife knew about the 9/11 attacks beforehand and the Islamic plot to control the U.S. government.

I have to tell you guys something, before the 9/11 attacks and in my first book which came out in 1998, which is four years before the 9/11 attacks, I was talking about the 9/11 attacks. Everybody said I was nuts and then when it happened everybody said I’m a prophet, I said I’m not a prophet, I just listen to my wife because my wife listens to them. They said they were going to take American planes and crash them into the World Trade Center. The problem with the American people is the American people doesn’t listen to what the enemy is saying. The Muslims say Obama’s a Muslim, he’s a Muslim. The Muslims say we’re going to have a Muslim in the White House in 2008, then they have a Muslim president of the United States. All you have to do is look at what he has done, how he has ignored the Christian prayer breakfasts and the National Religious Broadcasters and he’s always quoting the Quran and his whole life is around Islam. The bottom line is, he’s going to make America a Muslim country and he’s going to weaken America, make America an internationalized country. Agenda 21, the takeover of American land, farms, forests, natural resources, will be done in order to accommodate 100 million Muslim immigrants who will be brought in the next four years.

MassResistance has updated its report, “What same-sex ‘marriage’ has done to Massachusetts,” and the group’s head Brian Camenker appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk to go down the list of all of the so-called negative impacts of marriage equality.

Anyone who thinks that same-sex "marriage" is a benign eccentricity which won't affect the average person should consider what it has done to Massachusetts since 2004. It's become a hammer to force the acceptance and normalization of homosexuality on everyone. The slippery slope is real. New radical demands never cease. What has happened in the last several years is truly frightening.

Camenker rehashed the typical claims about how gay rights is leading to anti-Christian persecution, but also told host Vice Eliason that marriage equality is responsible for an uptick in the state’s domestic violence cases. Experts say that domestic violence has increased nationwide, likely connected to economic stress, Massachusetts included.

But Camenker says gay couples are responsible for the increase, arguing that “the rates of domestic violence among homosexual couples is many, many times that of heterosexual couples,” which he alleges is a manifestation of “the dysfunctional nature of homosexual relationships.”

However, Jane Doe Inc. The Massachusetts Coalition Against Sexual Assault and Domestic Violence writes, “Gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender individuals are abused at approximately the same levels as heterosexual couples, but the abuse may be exacerbated by social isolation caused by societal oppression and discrimination.” The Center for American Progress also notes that “studies have found that domestic violence occurs among same-sex couples at comparable rates to straight couples,” not “many, many times that of heterosexual couples” as Camenker claims.

Eliason: Domestic violence, what’s happening in that field dealing with this new lifestyle?

Camenker: Well it’s well known that the rates of domestic violence among homosexual couples is many, many times that of heterosexual couples for all kinds of reasons. What’s happened in Massachusetts is that it has gotten so high that the legislature is having to budget more and more money, millions of dollars now, toward dealing with this problem up from a hundred thousand dollars just a few years go.

Camenker: It’s interesting at homosexual related events, you know gay pride events and all this stuff, they’re handing out all this gay domestic violence, partner violence literature, which is funded by the state. Apparently this has become a big problem; it’s even being passed out at high school gay clubs and all of this stuff. You know, the dysfunctional nature of homosexual relationships, which nobody wants to talk about, is being manifest more and more we’re seeing.

Peter LaBarbera of Americans for Truth About Homosexuality yesterday appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk, where he joined Vic Eliason in railing against the supposed “LGBT Tidal Wave” in America. LaBarbera, who earlier tweeted that out CNN anchor Anderson Cooper should stop reporting on LGBT issues, doubled down while speaking to Eliason and a caller, arguing that “his reporting was extremely pro-homosexually biased” and “he shouldn’t be reporting on these homosexuality cases because he’s proven obviously that he is more of a gay activist than an actual reporter.” “So much for CNN,” Eliason lamented.

Caller: We just had another person this morning came out saying he’s gay, Anderson Cooper.

Eliason: He came out? This morning? Well that was no secret.

LaBarbera: And Vic, Anderson Cooper was touted by the homosexuals in their magazines, everybody said he was a homosexual, his reporting was extremely pro-homosexually biased. I think he shouldn’t be reporting on these homosexuality cases because he’s proven obviously that he is more of a gay activist than an actual reporter.

Eliason: Well, so much for CNN.

The two anti-gay activists also went on to decry the presence of police officers at gay pride parades, as LaBarbera claimed that “the police have become the protectors of homosexuality.” He also insisted that such parades are “inappropriate for children” but “the gay family movement is foisting innocence children, forcing innocent children to be exposed to this filth.”

LaBarbera: What other area would you find a parade in which children are all over the place, you know parents are bringing children, and there is this incredibly X-rated homosexual stuff going on, what other area in our society would you find it?

Eliason: And it goes on, I remember some years ago in the city of Milwaukee when they had the gay pride parade and at that time they found sympathy in the chief of police and he assigned the marching band, the police band, to lead the parade down Wisconsin Ave.

LaBarbera: Right, the cops are always at these parades now so the police have become the protectors of homosexuality. Vic, in Chicago here’s another example, in the Chicago parade there was one guy walking down the street, he was Captain Bisexual. There is a Bisexual Flag, as there is a sadomasochism flag by the way, in case you didn’t know, and so Captain Bisexual was waving a big banner that said “Bisexual Justice.” Now has a parent supposed to explain that to a child watching? He sees somebody who looks like a cartoon figure hawking bisexuality. These parades are inappropriate for children. The gay family movement is foisting innocence children, forcing innocent children to be exposed to this filth.

After warning that gay rights will lead to bestiality and the collapse of the United States, Eliason gave Right Wing Watch a shout out and said their appearances on RWW should be considered a “badge of courage”:

Tom DeWeese of the American Policy Center, the group which blends typical right-wing warnings about looming one world government with conspiracies about efforts to protect the environment, on Monday’s edition of Crosstalk claimed that carbon dioxide (CO2) is not a threat to humanity or the earth at large because “trees give off carbon dioxide; all the plants around us give it off.” In fact, DeWeese said the earth may not have enough CO2, and called people who believe in human-influenced climate change “idiots.”

However, trees and plants break down CO2 as part of photosynthesis and therefore play an important role in combating the escalating rates of CO2 in the atmosphere. Deforestation, on the other hand, leads to increased rates of CO2.

DeWeese: The bottom line is, CO2 is not a poison to human beings, CO2 is not affecting the atmosphere, there is absolutely no evidence, I can say this with absolute confidence, there is no evidence of man-made global warming causing problems. We are actually going through a cooling period right now, which is going to increase over the next few years, it’s cyclical, it happens. I used to have a weatherman in my hometown who started the weather by saying ‘whether it’s cold or whether it’s hot, we’ll always have weather, whether or not’ and that’s exactly what this is. Every time we have a dry season or we have strong hurricanes or we have a really hot summer or a mild winter, these idiots start this drumbeat again, ‘global warming, see here’s what it is.’ They tried to say that this year is the warmest on record, it’s not. They will just keep coming up with his stuff, it’s just craziness.

Trees give off carbon dioxide; all the plants around us give it off. The fact is some scientists have done some studies saying we’ve got a carbon dioxide shortage right now. That then causes plants to die, that causes environmental damage.

While one Religious Right writer last week claimed that the environmental movement came from Nazi Germany, DeWeese told host Jim Schneider of VCY America that environmentalism actually came from communist leaders who were looking for a new way to destroy freedom after the fall of the Soviet Union and the Eastern Bloc:

Schneider: Aren’t we really talking about a worldwide, socialistic plan with this?

DeWeese: Absolutely, there is nothing else, that’s what it’s about. We wouldn’t give up our liberties in America when we were facing the Cold War and the Soviet Union and they tried to make the argument that Marx was superior, we wouldn’t give up our liberties then. When Communism fell back in the beginning of the 1990s, all these leaders of these countries, these communist countries and some of the organizations connected to them went into the environmental movement and they got us to start to sacrifice our liberties with the threat of environmental Armageddon. These Chicken Little scares that ‘the world is coming to an end, it’s selfish for you to want to have your job, build your home and have your family when the earth is going to come to an end, there is nothing you can do, you can’t escape.’ That’s been the argument all this time. There is no science to it. There is no science that supports this environmental Armageddon, these scare tactics that they are using but they continue to do it so that’s what we’re up against here.

After the American Family Association closed its Center for Law and Policy, right-wing attorney Steve Crampton joined up with another fervently anti-gay group, Liberty Counsel, where he now serves as the organization’s Vice President of Legal Affairs. Yesterday, he appeared on VCY America’s Crosstalk with host Jim Schneider to discuss Liberty Counsel’s claim that the Department of Justice compelled a public university in Arkansas to allow a transgender woman, Jennifer Braly, to access the women’s restroom.

However, the DOJ says that it simply sent a letter to the university, following protocol, to notify the school that they received a complaint from the woman, noting that “department’s letter stressed that it had reached no conclusions as to whether a violation of federal law had occurred. This was an initial inquiry, and the department never directed the university to take a specific action or change any of its policies.”

Crampton spent his time on Crosstalk by twisting that fact and attacking the LGBT community. He said Braly is “confused” and under a “delusion,” arguing that she and “those who really hate God” are “attempting to destroy the distinctions that God has built into mankind.” Later, Crampton wondered, “If I self-identify as the President of the United States, am I then entitled access to the Oval Office, can I go stay the night in the White House because that’s who I think I am?”

In response to a caller who compared homosexuality to cigarette smoking, Crampton and the host agreed that it is inconsistent for the government to defend the rights of LGBT people while opposing smoking, alcoholism and obesity. Crampton dubbed homosexuality “the most dangerous lifestyle out there,” asserting that it is “virtually a suicidal undertaking”:

Schneider: We put all these rules and laws and disclaimers on packs of cigarettes and alcohol and all these issues but, what about homosexuality? What about its impact upon health? We have the First Lady who is out making sure we don’t sell soda and potato chips in our schools but what about this Steve, in which we are actually seeing a shortened life expectancy by those who are practicing the very lifestyle that the Department of Justice is promoting?

Crampton: Again, an excellent point from the caller. The data is in, even the homosexuals’ own researchers, the CDC and the federal government all confirm what we have long known: homosexuality may be the most dangerous lifestyle out there, with respect to their own people. This is virtually a suicidal undertaking, and there risky behavior increases year after year despite all the educational efforts and attempts to distribute condoms and so forth. In response to the question, what about that argument? Rest assured, we make that argument regularly. Sadly, there is a blindness both on the part of the homosexuals themselves and frankly on the part of the courts for the most part. It is just too hot a potato for the courts to take under these circumstances, so the argument has not proven all that successful. But as you point out Jim, the double standard is just stark and startling in its application here isn’t it? Cigarette smoke, sodas at the school, you can’t pass out candy at certain schools and so forth, and yet they want to say ‘just come on down’ for this homosexual lifestyle.

Crampton concluded by warning that the “ruthless” supporters of the “homosexual agenda” are not attempting to have equality but are instead trying to “do away with the church” as they are “dead set against Christianity and all that America has stood for over the ages”:

When we put into office a man who has come out and openly embraced same-sex marriage as a civil right we should not be surprised that his Department of Justice is really not about neutrality, this is about the promotion and furthering of a particular agenda. An agenda, by the way, that I think is wholly inconsistent with and perhaps contradictory to the foundational principles on which our nation was built. It is dead set against Christianity and all that America has stood for over the ages.

It really isn’t about equality, is it? You know, a lot of folks want to go to sleep on this issue, don’t want to discuss the homosexual agenda, want to say, ‘let’s just leave them alone; after all, they’re not hurting anyone.’ But this is where it leads. Inevitably, once they seize power, they are ruthless in wielding it.

You know the oft-used phrase of Edmund Burke, ‘All it takes for evil to triumph is for good men to do nothing.’ I’m afraid, in the end, the buck stops with us, does it not? We know better as believers and we have condoned by our inaction the takeover of our institutions and our political power as well, it’s been said here by [callers] Jerry and Judy and others, it is high time, it is beyond time, for believers to get on our knees and take it back. There is what scripture says is a natural enmity between the world and God and the church, and that enmity is playing itself out now. Christians and true religion is identified as an enemy of the state. They are not out there to gain equality; they are out there to do away with the church.
