David Horowitz Hopes Trump Administration Will Jail George Soros

Former GOP congressman J.D. Hayworth invited right-wing activist David Horowitz onto his Newsmax program yesterday to discuss an earth-shattering Daily Caller report that a foundation funded by George Soros sought to influence the Supreme Court’s recent immigration decision through the sneaky means of “a sophisticated amicus brief and media strategy.” (Dozens of organizations filed amicus briefs on both sides of the case, a common feature of Supreme Court cases.)

Horowitz said that while that nefarious activity was “horrible enough,” the big picture is that Soros is “a Jew-hater, an Israel-hater and an America-hater” who ought to be in jail, something for which the only hope is a Donald Trump administration.

“Soros should be in jail,” he declared. “Somebody’s got to be suing him—you know, of course you can’t put him in jail—he should be in jail for fomenting civil unrest, getting those policemen killed, tearing up cities. Surely there can be a civil suit. You can’t expect a Justice Department that’s headed by a criminal or an FBI that’s in bed with them to do something about this. But hopefully Trump will win the election and when the Republicans come in, I hope they go after Soros and shut him down.”

“The Achilles heel of western civilization,” he added later in the interview, “is its tolerance for people that hate it. This man is an enemy of western civilization and of America in particular and he’s treated like he’s just a normal actor. He needs to be in jail. He needs to be charged with the crimes of destroying Ferguson, Missouri, destroying Baltimore.”

Larry Klayman: 'Traitor' Obama Would Have Been Impeached By Now If He Weren't Black

Larry Klayman, the right-wing lawyer who is currently suing President Obama for endangering his life as a white man, claimed on Friday that the $400 million sent to Iran earlier this year was motivated by the “half-Muslim” and “anti-Semitic” president’s “affinity for Iran,” claiming that the “traitor” Obama would have been impeached by now if he weren’t black.

Implying that a shipment of cash to Iran, which conservatives have falsely claimed was a ransom payment for U.S. hostages, was worse than the Reagan-era Iran-Contra scandal, Klayman said that the whole thing was driven by Obama’s father’s Muslim faith. (Obama’s father was actually, according to some reports, an atheist.)

“Look, he’s half-Muslim, he associates with his father, he wrote a book extolling the virtues of his father … so he feels some affinity for Iran, and he’s acted that way at the expense of Israel,” Klayman told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg. “They’re now on the verge of nuclear weapons if they don’t already have it. And it’s totally consistent with his, frankly, anti-Semitic behavior and anti-Israeli behavior for the last seven years.”

Klayman added the president is also a “traitor” for having publicly criticized GOP presidential nominee Donald Trump.

“Now, suppose Donald Trump actually wins the election. What has he done? He’s undercut the United States,” he said. “This man, frankly, is a traitor to our country. If he had been anything other than African-American — and I don’t mean to cast aspersions on African-Americans, we have many colleagues that are that way and actually stand for really good values — but he would have been impeached and convicted by now. He’s a traitor to this country, Steve, and we’ve seen it over and over again and this is the latest example of it.”

Former GOP Congressman: Learning Spanish Is 'Cultural Surrender'

J.D. Hayworth, a former Republican congressman from Arizona who now hosts a program on the conservative Newsmax network, said on his program yesterday that it is “cultural surrender” for Americans to learn Spanish.

Hayworth, discussing the Democratic National Convention with anti-immigrant leader Dan Stein of the Federation for American Immigration Reform, played a clip of Dreamer activist Astrid Silva speaking at the convention, where she warned that Donald Trump’s immigration plan amounts to “ripping families apart.”

“Hey, Dan, there’s just one thing about family reunification,” Hayworth said. “Families can stay together when they go back to their country of origin, can’t they?

“J.D., think about how offensive this is to the American people,” Stein responded. “The people who have crashed our borders come illegally, now have the temerity to interfere with our political system. Between the illegal aliens going out and get out the vote campaign for president Obama and the Mexican government using its consulates in this country to actually organize people to work on candidates, you have a gross interference in our political process.”

“We don’t owe this young lady anything as a nation,” Stein continued. “What we owe her is a certain amount of respect, which implies, one, addressing her in the English language, as she has to us. When politicians talk in Spanish to any constituency, they’re demeaning them by saying, ‘Oh, you can’t learn English.’”

“You know, it’s worse than that, Dan,” Hayworth said. “When I had some friends taking Spanish — and of course there’s a Spanish population in Arizona — I’d say to them, ‘Oh, you boys gonna go take your class in surrender?’ Because it’s a cultural surrender, part of the mindset.”

Wayne Allyn Root Thinks It's Time For White Men To Speak Out

On “Newsmax Prime with J.D. Hayworth” on Monday, right-wing activist Wayne Allyn Root declared that it was about time for white men to have their voices heard in the political system, calling on white men to finally speak out on the 2016 election so that Hillary Clinton doesn’t bring about “the end of America.”

“We won’t survive another term of Barack Obama and Hillary has said she wants to be an extension of Barack Obama, except from their campaign rhetoric, she’s headed toward Bernie Sanders, which is even more spending than Barack Obama, even more socialism than Obama,” Root said. “So anyone who stays home and sits on their hands and won’t vote for Trump, you get what you deserve. You’re gonna have a socialist nation and the end of America, in my opinion.”

Root, who has campaigned alongside Donald Trump, said white men will be the new “soccer moms.”

“Look at Nice, which just happened days ago,” Root continued. “What a tragedy. And according to Barack Obama, we need some sort of a truck ban, some sort of truck confiscation, truck-free zones. It’s so ludicrous to think the reaction to terrorism is to ban guns in the hands of good people like me and you, JD, and most of middle class America. That’s why I wrote a book called ‘Angry White Male.’ It’s time we spoke out. We’re the soccer moms of the 2016 election.”

Larry Klayman: 'Revolution' Needed After Clinton Email Announcement

Larry Klayman, the founder of the Clinton-hounding conservative group Judicial Watch, has spent the last several years calling foramassuprising ora coup to depose President Obama and prevent Hillary Clinton from winning the presidential election. Unsurprisingly, Klayman returned to this theme yesterday in response to FBI Director James Comey’s announcement that his agency would not recommend that prosecutors press charges against Hillary Clinton for misuse of email at the State Department.

“This thing has been rigged from the start, Donald Trump is absolutely right, I said it long before Donald Trump,” Klayman told Newsmax’s J.D. Hayworth. “Our legal system is corrupt to the core and I think, you know, we just celebrated our Independence Day. We’re back to 1776. I advocate civil disobedience a la Martin Luther King. It’s going to take another revolution to bring this country back.”

“What I’m saying is that if we want justice, we the American people are going to have to rise up,” he said. “It’s only one day after July 4 and our forefathers rose up against King George III. Frankly, he was a better ruler than either Hillary Clinton would be or Barack Obama or Bill Clinton or, for that matter, some of the Republicans. And we’re going to have to take our country back and it’s going to have to be done in a peaceful way with civil disobedience. We can no longer rely on the courts.”

He added that his nonviolent, 1776-style revolution would require “extreme, nonviolent measures.”

“I don’t advocate violence, I never have,” he said, “but it worked for Martin Luther King, it worked for Lech Walesa in Poland, it worked for Mahatma Gandhi in India, and in South Africa.”

Brigitte Gabriel: If Orlando Shooter Was Gay, He Would Have Shot Up A 'Heterosexual Club'

Responding to very early, unconfirmed reports that the terrorist who killed 49 people at a gay club in Orlando last weekend could have been gay himself, anti-Muslim activist Brigitte Gabriel said yesterday that if “his gayness” had been “an issue” in the shooting, he would have attacked “a heterosexual club” instead.

Gabriel told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg that reports that the shooter may have repressed his sexuality were just an attempt by liberals to “divert the issue” from President Obama’s and Hillary Clinton’s “failed policies” by noting the anti-gay nature of the attack.

“And, by the way, if this guy, if his gayness is an issue because he is gay and he wants to kill, you would think he would go into a heterosexual club and start shooting people out of complete frustration that he was not created like them or maybe heterosexuals look down at gays,” she said.

Dan Stein: Immigration Advocates Want To 'Radically Alter' The ‘Ethnic Base' Of America

Dennis Michael Lynch devoted his entire Newsmax TV program on Friday night to discussing “Islam in America” with an entirely Muslim-free panel that included the Federation for American Immigration Reform’s Dan Stein and Act! for America’s Brigitte Gabriel.

Lynch, who began the segment by playing an excerpt of his recent anti-immigration film “They Come to America 3,” asked Stein why anybody who complains about immigration is labeled “a hater.” Stein responded that it is because immigration reform advocates are simply using the issue to “radically alter” the “ethic base” of America and “reengineer the demographics of the electorate.”

“It’s interesting, because there are a lot of organizations and politicians who simply want to use immigration to reengineer the demographics of the electorate,” he said. “They don’t like the old America, they want to make it something new. Just like the far left, they want to disrupt. They’re not sure where they’re going, they just know they want to reengineer the demographics through immigration. The rest of us are saying, ‘Why are we doing this?’ Immigration shouldn’t be stopped just to preserve the ethnic base, but you shouldn’t use it to radically alter it either. It should be something that serves the American people today.”

Although Stein says that his group’s opposition to immigration isn’t “just” meant “to preserve the ethnic base” of America, FAIR’s founder, John Tanton, was less shy about his goals, once writing, “I have come to the point of view that for European-American society and culture to persist, it requires an European-American majority and a clear one at that. I doubt very much that our traditions will be carried on by other peoples.”

The panel also discussed Donald Trump’s proposed temporary ban on Muslims entering the United States, which Stein said is “something that the American people would probably never support” but “as a practical matter …. unless somebody’s got a better idea, sounds like it makes pretty good sense to us.”

But what the United States really ought to do, he said, is “suspend all immigration for about 30 years and get our own house in order, that would make the most sense.”

David Horowitz: Trump Protesters Are The Real Nazis

Conservative commentator David Horowitz claimed yesterday that comparisons of Donald Trump to dictators like Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini are off base and that it is instead people who protest at Donald Trump events who are “fascists” and resemble “what led to the rise of Hitler.”

“This kind of fascist tactic — which is what it is, breaking up meetings, they went in to disrupt the meeting — it’s what led to the, you know people hate this analogy, but it is what led to the rise of Hitler in the ‘30s, the communists and the Nazis broke up the meetings of the social democrats and that’s how Hitler was elected,” Horowitz told Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg. “But they’re fascist tactics anyway, the left is dedicated to shutting down the free speech of anyone who disagrees with them by calling them names like ‘racist’ or ‘sexist’ and by physical violence. And we’ve seen it from Ferguson and Baltimore, out of control leftist mobs.”

After declaring that the “only real fascists in America are on the left,” Horowitz echoed Trump in saying that protesters should be arrested, adding that student demonstrators in the 1960s should have been expelled and Black Lives Matter protesters should all be “in jail.”

Horowitz has close ties in the GOP, frequently recruting leading Republicans including Texas Sen. Ted Cruz — to rub shoulders with anti-Muslim activists at retreats that he holds at a beach resort in Florida.

GOP Rep: 'I Don't Know' If Military Would Follow Orders To Close Gitmo

Late last year, Rep. Mike Pompeo of Kansas and a handful of his fellow Republican members of Congress sent a letter to the Joint Chiefs of Staff urging them to “seek appropriate legal advice before following any executive order to transfer Guantanamo Bay … detainees to the United States,” which Pompeo explained was a way of telling the military leaders that the members of Congress “have their back” if they choose to defy Obama administration orders to close the detention facility.

Now that Obama has sent Congress a plan for closing the Guantanamo Bay prison, Pompeo is repeating his warnings, telling Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg today that if the president were to carry out such a plan through an executive order, “I don’t know” if the military will comply with it.

If Obama were to issue such an executive order, Pompeo said, “The men and women of our military who he would ask to carry out that mission would have to look very carefully at whether the direction that they were being given was consistent with what their counsel was telling them about what was legal. I hope the president won’t put anybody in that position and won’t present risk to America, but we’ve watched the president behave in lawless ways.”

The president, he said, needs to “make sure he understands that we’re not going to let that happen.”

“Are you saying that there’s a possibility, remote as it may be, that after consultation with whomever, that the military members who would be charged with closing that facility down may not do it, may disobey the order?” Malzberg asked.

“You know, I served, Steve, in the military for quite a while,” Pompeo replied, “and if there’s one thing you understand it’s chain of command and following orders, but there’s another duty: When you take an oath to the Constitution and to defend America, your oath is different … So it would be an incredibly difficult spot that they would find themselves in, and I just literally pray that no commander in chief would ever put the soldiers, sailors, airmen and Marines in that kind of position.”

Malzberg pressed him again on if he was saying that the military might disobey an executive order closing the prison.

“I don’t know, Steve,” Pompeo responded, “it’s difficult to answer yes or know.”

GOP Rep. Slams Trump As Not 'Very Much Involved At All' In 9/11 Recovery

Rep. Peter King, Republican of New York, was not pleased with Donald Trump’s harsh words about President George W. Bush at a recent presidential campaign, issuing a press release at the time calling Trump a “feckless pretender” and “a poor man’s imitation of Michael Moore.”

In an interview with Newsmax’s J.D. Hayworth posted online on Friday, King continued his tirade against Trump, saying that he “never saw Donald Trump being very much involved at all” in New York’s recovery after the September 11, 2001, terrorist attacks.

“J.D., from all I know and from my recollection at the time, I never saw Donald Trump being very much involved at all,” he said. “He talks about having hundreds of friends of his who were killed an, I’m not trying to minimize anything, I’m not aware of funerals he went to or any efforts or causes he was involved in, including the 9/11 Health Act or anything, really. I’m sure there could have been some private donations he made, but he was certainly not an active force at all in New York after 9/11 as far as the whole World Trade Center tragedy.”

He demanded that Trump apologize to Bush, before attacking the presidential candidate for praising the late musician Michael Jackson.

“Quite frankly, I found it interesting last night,” he said, “he was saying what a great friend of Michael Jackson that he was and he was saying great things about Michael Jackson, who, as far as I’m concerned, was a pedophile, the same week that he’s calling President Bush a liar is, to me, almost sacrilegious.”

The exchange starts at around 2:30 into this clip:

Conservative Legal Activist Admits GOP SCOTUS Obstruction Is All About Politics

Within hours of the news breaking of Justice Antonin Scalia’s death on Saturday, Republican politicians and conservative activists circled the wagons and vowed to block the confirmation of any person President Obama nominates to replace him.

Some have tried to come up with bogus new “rules” about not confirming justices in a presidential election year. Some have tried to claim, as Sen. Marco Rubio did in Saturday’s Republican presidential debate, that more than 10 months before the next election Obama is already a “lame duck” president. Sen. Rand Paul went as far as to say that Obama has a “conflict of interest” in nominating judges who might consider the legality of things the executive branch does.

But some have been less coy about the purely political calculation behind the attempt to block an Obama nominee, including the Judicial Crisis Network’s Carrie Severino, who announced in a Newsmax interview yesterday that it would be “political malpractice” for Senate Republicans to allow President Obama to put another justice on the Supreme Court.

In a statement shortly after Scalia’s death was announced, Severino declared that Obama is “the last person” who should be nominating Scalia’s successor because he has “shown such contempt for the Constitution and the laws.”

Severino’s group was founded during the George W. Bush administration as the Judicial Confirmation Network, with the stated mission of ensuring “that the confirmation process for all judicial nominees is fair and that every nominee sent to the full Senate receives an up or down vote.” After President Obama was elected, the group conveniently changed its name and its mission.

Ben Carson: Ask Trump His Views On Marriage And 'Abnormal Relationships'

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson said on Friday that GOP frontrunner Donald Trump could prove his conservatism by answering questions like, “What are your feelings on marriage?” and, “What constitutes a normal relationships or is an abnormal relationship?”

Carson has previously referred to LGBT people as “a few people who perhaps are abnormal.”

Newsmax TV host Steve Malzberg asked Carson on Friday if he was “concerned about Donald Trump’s lack of a conservative record.”

“I think maybe people put too much emphasis on labels,” Carson responded, adding that interviewers should instead “delve deeply into what he believes.”

“Why not examine him?” Carson said. “Say, ‘What is your feeling about life? When does life begin? What are your feelings about marriage? What constitutes a normal relationships or is an abnormal relationship?’ You know, question him on these things and see what he says.”

When Malzberg asked him if he thought Trump skipped last week’s Fox News presidential debate in order to avoid such questions, Carson responded, “I don’t know. I don’t think it’s because he was afraid of Megyn Kelly.”

Sarah Palin Identifies With Ben Carson's Struggle To 'Dig Into The Idiosyncrasies' Of Policy

In an interview with Newsmax’s J.D. Hayworth broadcast yesterday, former GOP vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin somewhat condescendingly praised Ben Carson’s “innocence,” which she said makes the presidential candidate “the antithesis of Hillary Clinton.”

Palin, however, seemed to identify with some of Carson’s struggles to master foreign policy issues, saying that “it is tough, jumping up there on a national stage when you hadn’t been there before to really dig into the idiosyncrasies of some of the issues the details of some of our especially foreign policy issues.”

She added that she admires that Carson is “not letting political consultants or those around him who would ever kind of want to change his message, just not letting anybody try to shape you or mold you into something that some consultant wants you to be.”

All of this, she said, was in contrast to Clinton, who is “still trying to buffalo voters into choosing” her even though she was by President Obama’s side and “shining his boots” while he was “growing government and creating this less secure, less sovereign nation of ours, fundamentally transforming it.”

Jesse Lee Peterson: Obama Trying To Replace 'The White Man' With 'Some Black Person That Agrees With Him'

Conservative activist Jesse Lee Peterson gave a typically confounding interview to Newsmax’s Steve Malzberg yesterday, explaining that President Obama has expressed support for the Black Lives Matter movement because he “grew up hating white Americans” and wants to “replace the white man” with “some black person that agrees with him.”

Peterson, who was on the program to promote his new book “The Antidote: Healing America From The Poison of Hate, Blame and Victimhood,” explained to Malzberg that President Obama’s mother “taught him that America was a racist society against black people” and so he “grew up hating white Americans.”

This hatred, Peterson said, along with the “emptiness” left by his father’s absence, left the president with “a lot of anger, so that’s why he can relate to Black Lives matter and others.”

“I know for a fact, and right now I’m the only one who’s saying this, that racism is an illusion,” Peterson continued. “It doesn’t even exist. And that’s why, over the last 40 years or so, we have not been able to end this idea of racism, because it doesn’t exist.”

Instead, he said, politicians like Obama are pretending that racism exists “in order to redistribute power and wealth.”

“And that’s why Barack Obama has promoted this insanity that’s happening around the universities,” he concluded, “because he wants to replace the white man, take the power away from him, and put in some black person that agrees with him, and that’s why he’s pushing it.”

Ben Stein: Maybe Obama Hates America Because He's 'Part Black'

In an interview with Newsmax TV’s Steve Malzberg yesterday, conservative pundit Ben Stein called President Obama a “bad joke” and a “very real danger” to America, speculating that the president may have a “strong hatred of America” because “he’s part black.”

“I think the question is why is he so angry at America?” Stein said. “I don’t think there’s much question that he does not wish America well. He has a real strong hatred of America. Is it because he’s part black? I don’t know. Is it because his father was mistreated by the British in Kenya? I don’t know.”

Richard Land Gets Behind The Starbucks 'War On Christmas' Outrage

The War on Christmas season began early this year, with some honestly incomprehensible right-wing outrage over Starbucks’ insufficiently festive red holiday promotional cups.

The Starbucks cup outrage got a prominent new backer yesterday when Richard Land, the former political leader of the Southern Baptist Convention, said that Christians should boycott the coffee chain over the perceived snub.

Land was a guest on the Newsmax TV program hosted by former Arizona congressman J.D. Hayworth, who introduced the segment by playing a clip of the new Seth Rogen movie “The Night Before,” which Hayworth said was also part of the War on Christmas.

The Rogen movie, Hayworth said, is “raising a lot of concerns about Hollywood and the prevailing culture of the left, essentially trying to leave Christ out of Christmas or attack the whole notion of Christ at Christmas.”

On top of that, he said, “Christians get the feeling that Starbucks is waging a war on Christmas.”

“Starbucks has embraced the Left,” Hayworth told Land. “So much for diversity. Is it a big deal that they’ve gone to a red cup?”

“Well, for Christians it should be,” Land responded, “and it certainly will impact my patronage of Starbucks. You know, I’d probably have a chance to let them know, ‘By the way, I would have bought some coffee today if you had had a cup with Christmas ornaments on it or if you had a cup that was clearly Christmas, but I’m not, so that’s money you’ve lost.”

Land, riffing off a viral YouTube video in which a self-proclaimed evangelist said he got around a supposed Starbucks ban on saying “Merry Christmas” by giving his name as “Merry Christmas” to a barista, said that he would give his name as “Joseph, father of Jesus” in order to make Starbucks employees say the words.

Phyllis Schlafly: Transgender Rights Advocates 'Trying To Turn Our Boys Into Peeping Toms'

Phyllis Schlafly reacted yesterday to a Department of Education finding in favor of a transgender girl in Illinois by saying that advocates for transgender rights are “trying to turn our boys into peeping Toms.”

“They’re trying to turn our boys into peeping Toms,” Schlafly declared in an interview on Newsmax TV. “I can’t imagine why else they would want to go into their girls’ restrooms.”

She added this cryptic bit of analysis: “The word used is ‘sex’ and ‘sex’ is a word that has a lot of meanings, and they want to use it for this.”

Huckabee: Congress Should Defund The White House To Stop Immigration Plan

Mike Huckabee reacted yesterday to the news that the Department of Homeland Security was reportedly planning ways to circumvent a Texas judge’s injunction of President Obama’s executive actions on immigration by suggesting that congressional Republicans should stop the Obama administration from functioning altogether by cutting off funding for the White House.

“I think he probably will. Why wouldn’t he?” Huckabee said in an interview on Newsmax TV. “He’s got a Republican Congress that has never tried to slow him down on his unconstitutional actions. They don’t try to slow down the judicial branch when it goes into judicial overreach and practices what Thomas Jefferson would have called judicial tyranny. They’ve ignored the typical checks and balances that are the constitutional duties of the other branches of government. So I think Obama’s going to just go ahead and do whatever he thinks he can get away with, and up until now he’s gotten away with pretty much anything he wanted to do.

“And I hold the Republican Congress responsible and accountable. It’s time for them to step up, and if they have to cut the funding out of the White House and simply not appropriate funds for him to function, they have the power of the purse, they simply need to start exercising it.”

Rand Paul: The Polls Are Skewed!

Sen. Rand Paul has been trailing in Republican presidential polls, with a new Quinnipiac poll in Iowa placing him with single-digit support, behind Ben Carson, Donald Trump, Marco Rubio and Ted Cruz.

But the Kentucky Republican isn’t giving up hope, telling Newsmax TV in an interview posted online yesterday that the polls have been “skewed” by the presence of “a celebrity reality TV star.”

Ben Carson: 'PC Methodology' Is Persecuting Christians

Republican presidential candidate Ben Carson told Steve Malzberg on Newsmax TV yesterday that there is rising anti-Christian sentiment in America because people “buy into the PC methodology.”

“I don’t think most people, if they really stopped and thought about it would say, ‘I’m anti-Christian,’ but they buy into the PC methodology and hence they find themselves going with that crowd,” he said.

One way to stem the tide, he said, would be for Congress to pass legislation undermining the Supreme Court’s marriage equality decision. “I’m not an anarchist, it is the law of the land, but that doesn’t mean we can’t change it,” he said. “It doesn’t mean that there isn’t a reason that we have separation of powers and checks and balances, and clearly when one branch oversteps their boundaries, it’s time for the next one to act.”

Later in the interview, Malzberg claimed that President Obama doesn’t care about the persecution of Christians in the Middle East or terror attacks in Israel, falsely claiming that the White House didn’t respond to an attack that killed three rabbis in a Jerusalem synagogue last year.

“I don’t think he’s moved by dead Christians or dead Jews,” Malzberg said, “I think he’s moved by dead Muslims and dead thugs at the hands of police.”

“Well, you know, the sad thing is that a lot of people are buying into his way of thinking,” Carson responded, “and it’s very dangerous. We need to understand that America is a unique place. You can be, you can have an American dream. But is there a dream for any other place? I don’t think so. And we shouldn’t be so anxious to give it up, give up all our values and principles for the sake of political correctness.”
