On his radio show today, Focus on the Family founder James Dobson discussed the Supreme Court’s marriage equality rulings with Family Research Council president Tony Perkins and Bill Becker, an attorney affiliated with right-wing groups such as the Alliance Defense Fund and the Discovery Institute. As you could imagine, Dobson was aghast at the decisions, arguing that same-sex marriages “threaten the entire superstructure” of society. “I believe it can come down,” Dobson warned. “This has been devastating. Even if eventually legally we somehow walk it back... MORE >

James Dobson’s son and Family Talk co-host Ryan Dobson appeared alongside insane End Times radio broadcaster Rick Wiles last week on TruNews, where the two warned that the Obama administration might deny healthcare to conservatives. That wasn’t the only conspiracy theory the duo discussed. During the interview, Dobson pushed the discredited claim that the Obama administration blocked military intervention during the Benghazi attack. Dobson also repeated the false allegation that Operation Fast and Furious operation was designed to push gun control legislation and cited a debunked... MORE >

During a Family Talk program to promote his wife’s “National Day of Prayer” effort, James Dobson floated a claim by a pastor that Christians must prepare for imminent and severe persecution and that pastors may spend the rest of their days in prison. While Dobson didn’t name which pastor told him that, he asked his guest Greg Laurie of Harvest Ministries whether he was onto something. Laurie argued that America is experiencing “a complete, total moral meltdown” that seems to “be happening at an accelerated rate.” Dobson: If I’m reading... MORE >

In the second part of Jim Garlow’s post-election sermon at a conference with James Dobson, the California pastor claimed that President Obama’s re-election marked the death of America. Garlow, who warned of America’s impending doom if Obama was re-elected, said that “if a tombstone were to be prepared for America I think it might say ‘1776-2012.’” Garlow went on to compare the prospects of America’s survival to a clinically dead patient miraculously coming back to life. 18 months before the election from May 2011 on I started saying privately... For the past two days, Focus on the Family founder James Dobson has been promoting his new dystopian novel, “Fatherless,” about a conspiracy to depopulate the earth. Dobson’s guest on Family Talk was co-author and former Focus vice president Kurt Bruner, who joined him in warning that the U.S. is entering a demographic crisis. Yesterday, Dobson lamented that “recently this nation has lurched to the left” and that “everything I have fought for is on the line and is in danger now.” Dobson’s sentiments reflect his monthly newsletter where he said... Dobson on Obama's Reelection: 'Nearly Everything I Have Stood for these Past 35 Years Went Down to Defeat'

James Dobson in his January newsletter for his Family Talk radio program reflected on President Obama’s re-election and the Democrats’ gains in Congress by lamenting that “moral and spiritual issues” took “a beating on November 6th.” “Nearly everything I have stood for these past 35 years went down to defeat,” Dobson said, arguing that the Democratic Party’s platform “represents a kind of spiritual warfare that has not been seen before in American politics.” The Focus on the Family founder went on to state that “Barack... Ryan Dobson Defends his Father's Comments About Sandy Hook, Calling Him 'a Man who is Making a Stand for Righteousness'

Shortly after the tragedy at Sandy Hook Elementary School, James Dobson weighed in to declare that the shooting was evidence that God has "allowed judgment to fall upon us" because the nation has turned its back on him by accepting things like abortion and gay marriage. Those remarks, not surprisingly, generated some controversy and so, last Friday, Ryan Dobson sought to set the record straight on "Dr. James Dobson's Family Talk" radio broadcast where he asserted that his father's remarks were taken out of context and that he is the victim of an agenda-driven... Dobson: Connecticut Shooting was God Allowing 'Judgment to Fall Upon Us' for Turning Our Back on Him
SUBMITTED BY: Kyle Mantyla, Monday 12/17/2012, 10:32am
James Dobson dedicated his radio program this morning to discussing Friday's tragic shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary school in Connecticut, which he attributed to the fact that God has "allowed judgment to fall upon us" because the nation has turned its back on him by accepting things like abortion and gay marriage: Our country really does seem in complete disarray. I'm not talking politically, I'm not talking about the result of the November sixth election; I am saying that something has gone wrong in America and that we have turned our back on God. I mean...
