Conservative pastor and regular Fox News guest Jesse Lee Peterson of BOND appeared on TruNews with Rick Wiles last week, where Peterson argued that Obama is “racist” against white people because his mother “hated being white.”
After Wiles claimed that Obama’s family “had connections to the New World Order,” Peterson said Obama's mother, Ann Dunham, “hated her color” and raised Obama “not to accept that side of himself.”
Of course, then Wiles insisted that it really has nothing to do with race because Obama “is red... MORE >

As we have noted several times in the past, Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND) has carved out a very unique niche as a black right-wing activist who specializes in accusing Democrats, and especially black Democrats, of being racist while defending white people who are accused of racism.
Earlier this year, Peterson made news when he declared that he would like "to take all black people back to the South and put them on the plantation so they would understand the ethic of working." So it comes as no surprise that Peterson has now decided to... MORE >

Conservative columnist and frequent Fox News guest Jesse Lee Peterson today asserted that he is “certain without a doubt that Barack Hussein Obama is NOT a Christian.” Peterson, head of Brotherhood Organization Of A New Destiny, agreed with Rick Santorum’s remarks on how Satan is attacking the United States and even went on to link Satan to Obama’s election in 2008: “I do agree with Santorum that this is a 'spiritual war' and that 'Satan is targeting the U.S.' which is precisely why I believe Barack Obama was selected and elected.” He said that Obama is... Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny has carved out a unique niche for himself as the far-right's arbiter of who/what is racist and who/what is not racist in today's political environment.
Thus, we see him declaring that "Barack Obama hates white people – especially white men" and claiming that he was elected by "by black racists and white guilty people" while defending the racist rants of people like Michael Richards and Duane Chapman.
Given Peterson's rather limited role, I was a little confused when he announced that he was... MORE >

The last time I wrote about Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND) I noted that he had managed to carve out a rather unique niche for himself among right-wing activists:Peterson, who is black, has carved out a niche for himself as an outspoken foe of racism ... or rather, an outspoken foe of black racism which, in his view, is the same thing as being a Democrat, like when he declares that Barack Obama was elected president thanks to the votes of "black racists and white guilty people" and proclaims that black ministers who supported... Despite all of the predictions that the Religious Right was on its deathbed, they sure do seem to be extremely active of late. Of course, they don't seem to have any new ideas or desire to change their agenda in any way, but in last few months have seen a flurry of new groups popping up designed to fill some unseen void that has been apparently responsible for their current predicament. In the last few months we seen the arrival of the Faith and Freedom Institute, which was followed by Ralph Reed's Faith and Freedom Coalition, while Newt Gingrich was unveiling his Renewing American Leadership... Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND) is one of those right-wing fringe figures who is, in general, taken seriously by absolutely nobody (with the exception of Sean Hannity).Peterson, who is black, has carved out a niche for himself as an outspoken foe of racism ... or rather, an outspoken foe of black racism which, in his view, is the same thing as being a Democrat, like when he declares that Barack Obama was elected president thanks to the votes of "black racists and white guilty people" and proclaims that black ministers who supported Obama... You just know that when Jesse Lee Peterson of the Brotherhood Organization of a New Destiny (BOND) releases a statement, it is going to be something ridiculous ... and once again he doesn't disappoint:According to BOND ACTION, Inc, Founder and President, Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, the Obama campaign and its surrogates have knowingly used race as a wedge issue to scare black voters and mischaracterize Republican positions on the issues. Rev. Peterson said today, "If the McCain campaign doesn't start aggressively combating these false allegations it will cost them the election... MORE >
