Anti-Immigrant Zealot William Gheen Boasts Marco Rubio Is Now 'Quoting My Lines'

William Gheen, who runs the one-man anti-immigration group Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, is the subject of a fawning profile in WorldNetDaily today that focuses on Gheen’s latest grand scheme: compiling an “America hate group list” of politicians and organizations that have every said or done anything in support of immigration reform.

Claiming that “tens of thousands of Americans have been killed” and “massive atrocities” have occurred because of undocumented immigrants, Gheen tells WND, “These open-borders traitors have opened America and Americans up to every unwanted thing around the globe.”

“There’s a host of motivations,” he adds, including some who “see it as a way to destroy the U.S. and lead to the eventual displacement of our citizens.”

One politician who hasn’t been spared a place on Gheen’s list despite his about-face on immigration reform is Florida Sen. Marco Rubio, even though Gheen boasts Rubio is “out there right now quoting my lines.”

Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., who like Paul has expressed interest in running for president in 2016, voted in favor of SB 744 but has been talking lately as though he is against amnesty.

“He’s out there right now quoting my lines. He was on Sean Hannity’s show a couple of weeks ago and my lines are suddenly on the lips of Marco Rubio,” Gheen said.

And it won’t take much to get on the list. Even if a candidate has a solid voting record, such as Paul, one comment that is made in favor of granting leniency to illegal aliens will be enough to land him on the list permanently, Gheen said.

“Once you go on the list, you’re always going to be on the list. You don’t get any second chances,” Gheen said. “Once we put you on that list, we are going to do everything in our power to make sure you are never elected or re-elected.”

He added, “Our plan is to make this the most comprehensive amnesty list in the country, so that when loved ones get the bad news that someone’s been killed by an illegal immigrant, or they lose a job, or lose their home, or maybe they lose a local school or hospital resource, they will know who to blame.”

“This is our America hate group list. It’s an America-hating group,” Gheen said. “That’s why the Southern Poverty Law Center will eventually be listed, as well as La Raza.”

Gheen said ALIPAC’s ultimate goal is to create two lists. One with amnesty supporters in business, politics and the nonprofit world and a second showing the victims of illegal immigration.

“We hope if we receive enough support that this list will be married to another list that will be for all those Americans that have lost their lives due to illegal immigration. It will be an online monument to the massive atrocities that have been committed against our citizens by this betrayal,” he said. “We’re now looking at a situation in which tens of thousands of Americans have been killed by this plan that has been furthered by the likes of Marco Rubio, George Bush, Jeb Bush, John McCain, Lindsey Graham, George Soros, Mark Zuckerberg, the Chamber of Commerce and the list goes on. The blood from these victims of the illegal immigration invasion cries from the ground, and we hope to see the American people correcting the injustice.”

Gheen said ALIPAC does not have actual numbers of Americans killed due to the non-enforcement policies of the federal government, but he believes they are in the thousands.

“It’s through murders, drunken-driving deaths, deaths by diseases that have come in through unscreened illegal immigrants, including the Mexican flu,” he said. “These open-borders traitors have opened America and Americans up to every unwanted thing around the globe. We’re wide open to it. The defenses of the United States are down. There’s a host of motivations. Whether it’s corporate greed or liberal socialists with a political agenda, and some see it as a way to destroy the U.S. and lead to the eventual displacement of our citizens.”

William Gheen: Terrorists Not Attacking US Because They're 'Pleased' With Obama

In an interview with WorldNetDaily today, anti-immigrant activist William Gheen insists that “large numbers of terrorists” have come through the southern border but “they are not attacking us is because they are so pleased with the way things are going under President Obama.”

“If there were another 9/11 style attack, it would increase the public pressures to secure the border,” the Americans for Legal Immigration PAC leader explains. “Illegal immigration and Obama are doing more to destroy America than any terrorist attack could ever hope to achieve, so why would any terrorist want to upset what is already happening?”

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC or ALIPAC, said Babeu is just the latest in a long line of sheriffs growing increasingly frustrated by the federal government’s lack of interest in border security.

“Here you have a sheriff trying to do his job with no support,” said Gheen. “Large numbers of terrorists have already exploited the inadequate patrol of our borders, and the reason they are not attacking us is because they are so pleased with the way things are going under President Obama.”

Gheen said he believes thousands of potential terrorists have entered the country but are not attempting any attacks because they are quite happy with current policies coming out of the White House and the feeble Republican leadership.

“If there were another 9/11 style attack, it would increase the public pressures to secure the border. Illegal immigration and Obama are doing more to destroy America than any terrorist attack could ever hope to achieve, so why would any terrorist want to upset what is already happening?” Gheen asked. “The cartels are the same. We know there are thousands of cartel members all around us in America, but they’re not killing in the volumes they do in Central and South American because their agenda is proceeding and they are harvesting billions of dollars of wealth in America by turning our children into addicts of their chemical weapons, primarily cocaine and methamphetamine.”

Gheen said that while the main culprit right now is Obama and his administration, “he is being facilitated and assisted by Republicans in Congress,” such as Rep. John Boehner, R-Ill., and Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., along with the Republican National Committee and the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.

William Gheen: Obama Wants ISIS To Attack US So He Can Win Election, Impose Dictatorship

William Gheen of the anti-immigrant Americans for Legal Immigration (ALIPAC) told WorldNetDaily yesterday that undocumented immigrants are a greater threat to America than ISIS, but that President Obama will still encourage ISIS to attack America so that his party wins the upcoming elections and he can impose a dictatorship.

Gheen echoed the recent comments of Pat Buchanan, who said on the Laura Ingraham show that Democratic-voting immigrants are a greater threat to the country than ISIS terrorists.

Gheen also told WND that Mexico’s efforts to stop the influx of Central American child migrants to the southern U.S. border are in fact part of a plot to provide political cover for Obama until after the elections.

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration or ALIPAC, also said he believes concerns about ISIS overseas pale in comparison to the threat of rampant illegal immigration. He did not hear the Buchanan interview but made similar statements Monday to WND.

“ISIS could cut off the heads of journalists once a month for the next five years and that’s not going to destroy America, but Obama’s pumping of illegal immigrants into the country will,” Gheen said.

He said the Obama administration was “going into full stealth mode” to continue its open-borders policy as quietly as possible, and may even give the impression to some on the left that it is abandoning its commitment to “comprehensive immigration reform,” which is a euphemism for amnesty. The progressives will shout and scream that Obama is backing away from his pledge to grant amnesty by delaying the inevitable, but this is all political theater, in Gheen’s eyes.

“The only thing I believe that will stop Obama’s next window of completing the dictatorship plans is if there is a massive sweep of conservatives at the election polls in November that outdoes the historic shift of 2010,” Gheen said.

He said Obama is going “deep underground” with unmarked vans full of illegals being transported into the interior of the country. The administration has enlisted the help of various progressive groups, paying nonprofits, faith-based charities and private individuals to resettle the unaccompanied minor children in cities across the U.S.

“These individuals and groups can receive up to $10,000 a month to provide housing facilities and other aid,” Gheen said. “Obama has gone into full stealth mode.”

The government of Mexico is on board, helping to shield the operation, Gheen said, citing recent articles, including one by the Associated Press, that explain how Mexico is cracking down on undocumented Central Americans heading to its border with the U.S.

Mexico has also set up moving roadblocks, checking the documents of passengers on interstate buses.

“Mexico, also a partner in the planned North America Union, has taken steps to stem the flow of illegals until after the election,” Gheen said. “They’ve cleared the Beast (freight train) of illegals. They’re aware of the backlash and they’re trying to turn off that flow for now, until we get past the election.”

Gheen believes the news about the ISIS terrorist group’s atrocities in the Middle East also helps Obama and the congressional incumbents.

“If you look at history, the unfortunate result of terrorist threats and attacks has been to favor incumbents in Washington,” he said. “The American public’s prior reactions to terror threats and acts has been to support incumbents. There is a psychological theory that when citizens feel threatened they will instinctively cling to the devil they know, to the people in power that are familiar to them.

“Which means the Obama administration now has a political incentive for ISIS to threaten or actually carry out attacks because the precedent is that the people will reward you with more power and more money, which is what we did after 9/11, so when I see all this publicity of ISIS chopping off heads, I see it as political theater, I see it as psychological operations and attempts to manipulate the American public in the mid-term election cycle. It benefits all incumbents but because the Democrats control the Senate and White House it benefits them the most.”

Anti-Immigrant Leader Warns Response To Obama Executive Action Won't Be 'Peaceful And Political'

William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, one of the key organizers of this month’s sparsely attended but prominently endorsed anti-immigrant protests, warned WorldNetDaily today that if President Obama were to issue an executive order preventing the deportation of some undocumented immigrants, that would amount to instituting “martial law” and Americans would face a choice between “subjugation” and actions that are “outside the purview of my peaceful and political efforts.”

Gheen frequently hints thatillegal and violent” means might be needed to push back against Obama immigration policies, although he denies supporting such means .

William Gheen, president of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, said any acts by the Obama administration to declare amnesty should be shot down immediately.

“That should not be possible because Obama doesn’t have the constitutional authority to declare any such amnesty for any group of people, and any declaration is a declaration of dictatorship and a form of martial law,” he told WND.

ALIPAC is organizing a second wave of national protests against amnesty starting Saturday, Aug. 2, and continuing through Oct. 24-25.

“I’m calling it martial law because it will be a form of law that is not the rule of law, not rule by Congress or the Constitution,” he said. “If Congress does not move to immediately correct the abuse of power, which Boehner has said he will not, then that leaves the American public with some very dire choices.”

Gheen said he didn’t want to discuss what those choices might be.

“One of those choices is subjugation; the other is outside the purview of my peaceful and political efforts, but I hope that people will channel their anger into the 2014 election cycle to politically destroy and remove from office as many Obama allies as possible, every Democrat and every Republican like Lamar Alexander and John Boehner. John Boehner is protecting the president. He is protecting Barack Obama.”

Gheen is now organizing a “second wave” of anti-immigrant protests in the states and districts of Republicans who he sees as too open to immigration reform or friendly to the president.

William Gheen and Alex Jones: Obama Using Obamaphones To Recruit Central American Kids To Become Child Soldiers

Americans for Legal Immigration PAC president William Gheen joined conspiracy theorist Alex Jones on his “Infowars” program yesterday to discuss Gheen’s pathetic nationwide rallies against Central American children fleeing to the southern border.

In just a few minutes, the two conspiracy-theory-minded activists combined their mental powers to develop a grand theory that President Obama is luring Central American kids with “Obamaphones” to recruit them to be child soldiers in a private army that will confiscate guns and crack down “in a totalitarian fashion against American citizens.”

“They’re doing that by bringing in people who have no shared national or cultural experience with us, that are willing to literally say or do anything that their new masters call on them to do to protect their positions,” Gheen said. “Once Obama brings these ‘kids’ in, gives them their Obamaphone, enrolls them in Obamacare, puts them in a public school, pays for their housing, pays for their foods…These people will do anything that their leaders call them to do, and I mean literally anything.”

“The problem about trying to take up full gun confiscation and cracking down in a totalitarian fashion against American citizens is, who amongst the country hates their fellow countrymen and women so much that you can turn them to do that? They only have a small section of people that are willing to do that, and it’s probably going to be the people who remain loyal to Obama to the very end,” he continued.

“These people that come in, if they come to them and say, ‘You must do this for your glorious leader or you’re going back to the jungle and you gotta give the phone back and the food back and the free lodging back,’ they’ll probably, most of them will make the decision to do about anything.”

“That’s like the African child slave soldiers,” Jones responded. “That’s how all those African countries are run is off of poor kids, they grab at 12 and give a machine gun to. Obama talks about his national security force, just as big, just as strong as our military. It’s so bold, but when you look at it, they really are doing that.”

William Gheen: Undocumented Immigrants More Dangerous 'Than Anything Al Qaeda Could Blow Up'

In an interview with the Tea Party News Network earlier this month, anti-immigrant activist William Gheen warned that undocumented immigrants are more dangerous than “anything that Al Qaeda could blow up, short of a nuclear detonation.”

Speaking with TPNN host Larry Altman on July 8, Gheen said that undocumented immigrants would “displace millions of American workers, cost untold Americans their lives, cost untold Americans their families and their homes and their mortgage payments” and warned that American children will be turned away from college “because invaders have been brought in the country and put in those seats ahead of” them.

Gheen said he was especially concerned about undocumented immigrants “coming from China,” possibly a reference to his theory that China will recruit immigrants to fight America from within.

Gheen, through his Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, was one of the primary organizers of last weekend’s not-so-successful rallies of anti-immigrant extremists.

Altman: Thousands of illegals crossing our border with basically no control. How many might be affiliated with maybe Al Qaeda, as an example?

Gheen: Well, what the illegals that are coming — and especially the ones that are coming from China — are going to do to America are much more powerful and lasting impacts than anything that Al Qaeda could blow up, short of a nuclear detonation.

You’re talking about millions of people that are going to displace millions of American workers, cost untold Americans their lives, cost untold Americans their families and their homes and their mortgage payments. Hundreds of billions of dollars of taxpayer resources. And how do you put a price tag on a family, let’s say that’s been in the United States for 300 years, and four or five different members of that family have gone off to World War II and Korea and maybe World War I to fight for the American way of life, and then finally they get to their grandson that’s alive in the year 2020 that doesn’t get to go to the college of his choice because invaders have been brought in the country and put in those seats ahead of him. That child’s life, that negatively impacts that child’s ability to self-actualize, to be all they can be, impacted because the future has been stolen by this usurpation, this treason, this treachery from the highest levels of our own government right here in the United States of America.

It is beyond the pale, it is outlandish, but it is a type of weapon from which the American people can never recover. Once they get enough people in here to get the boat really sinking, and then they get the borders destroyed and they start taking up all the guns and we’ve got wave after wave of future illegal immigrants pouring in and pouring in, the existing stock of Americans are going to be so politically and economically buried under this wave, that it’s a weapon from which we can never recover.

William Gheen Warns Minorities Want To Lynch And Stab Anti-Immigrant Activists

Yesterday, anti-immigrant activist William Gheen explained the abysmal turnout at a string of anti-immigrant rallies that took place over the weekend by alleging that the “liberal media” promoted violence against opponents of immigration reform.

In an appearance on former congressman Ernest Istook’s radio show “Insights, Issues & Istook,” Gheen said journalists put conservatives “in danger of physical assault or harm” and attempted to issue a “threat of implied violence against you or your family members or your children in school.”

The Americans for Legal Immigration PAC president even warned that minorities may attempt to kill conservatives: “If somebody hangs a hood over your head and gags you and ties you to a light pole in a large city’s minority neighborhood, you’re probably going to get beat up, shot or stabbed.”

Gheen quoted Sarah Palin, who said that she was the victim of a “blood libel” in the wake of a shooting at an event featuring Gabrielle Giffords, to claim that the media persecutes immigration reform critics.

Getting people to show up at physical events has been the most difficult thing on the illegal immigration issue because you’re going to have some liberal at the local paper trying to cost you your job and your community standing by defaming you, what Palin called the ‘blood libel.’ When somebody tries to say you’re a racist, they are not saying this because you are a racist. They are doing this because it’s a control word, it’s a command word, it’s like in the Planet of the Apes movie, it’s like, ‘bow your head.’ Somebody comes out and says, ‘racist,’ most Americans will bow their head and kneel immediately, otherwise they risk complete financial and political ruin. It doesn’t matter if you are a racist or not, they will just stick it in the paper and then there you go.

The other thing about this, if they convince minorities or groups of minorities that you’re a racist, you’re in danger of physical assault or harm. It doesn’t matter whether it is true or not. If somebody hangs a hood over your head and gags you and ties you to a light pole in a large city’s minority neighborhood, you’re probably going to get beat up, shot or stabbed. And so there is the threat of implied violence against you or your family members or your children in school if they just lie about you.

The other thing is, all the major networks, CBS, ABC, NBC and now even Fox News are all on the same billionaire, elitist, talking point plan of supporting immigration reform, which translates into changing our laws to accommodate millions of illegal immigrants, which is a form of amnesty. And if that happens, the borders of the United States are gone forever.

Anti-Immigrant Protests A Bust: Five Things This Weekend's Rallies Tell Us About The Nativist Right

For weeks now, anti-immigrant groups have been hyping a “National Day of Protesting Against Immigration Reform, Amnesty & Border Surge,” meant to be two days of protests in cities across the country in reaction to the Central American children who are coming to the southern border to flee violence in their home countries.

The protests were a bust. Local news reports and pictures posted on social media show anemic turnout, from about 40 people in front of the United Nations in New York to just three at a McClellan, Texas, border control station who wondered if they had gotten the wrong address.

These small but vitriolic protests, although they didn’t meet the hype of their organizers, tell us everything we need to know about today’s anti-immigrant movement.

1. It’s driven by extremists.

This weekend’s protests were organized by three fringe groups: Make Them Listen, Overpasses for America, and Americans for Legal Immigration PAC.

Make Them Listen is run by activist Paul Arnold, who has close ties to the anti-immigrant front group behind last summer’s rally of extremists on the National Mall .

Overpasses for America is a group led by activist James Neighbors that organizes demonstrations over highway overpasses to call for President Obama’s impeachment. The group went a step further this year when it backed Operation American Spring, an effort meant to flood Washington with protesters and force Obama out of office , which also came up slightly short of expectations .

Overpasses frequently shares images like this on its Facebook page:

The group also uses the platform to share its views on immigrants, including this image and its accompanying caption.

Americans for Legal Immigration is a one-man anti-immigrant hate shop run by North Carolina-based activist William Gheen. Gheen has said that “illegal and violent” means might be necessary to remove President Obama from office and has a long record of virulent anti-immigrant rhetoric . Gheen’s last national action was encouraging his supporters to mail used underwear to undocumented immigrants.

Gheen also has ties to the right-wing militia movement: he personally invited the anti-government group Oath Keepers to join the weekend’s protests.

Other groups listed as “participating organizations” in the event included 2 Million Bikers To DC, whose leader wants to repeal all but the first 10 amendments to the Constitution and which deals in racist Facebook images, and Americans Have Had Enough Coalition, which is led by white supremacist Roan Garcia-Quintana .

The largest recent anti-immigrant protests — the attempts to turn back busses of migrant children in Murrieta, California, and Oracle, Arizona — were also populated by anti-government fringe groups. The Murrieta protest, which was organized by activists tied to the Minutemen and the John Birch Society, drew some of the same people who had recently set up shop at the anti-government standoff at the Bundy Ranch.

2. It relies on xenophobia.

Signs and chants at this weekend’s protests show that the movement draws its energy from Nativism and xenophobia.

A number of signs at the events drew from the ginned-up fears of migrant children carrying diseases. In New York, one protester parodied Emma Lazarus, shouting, “bring us your smallpox, bring us your malaria, your scabies.”

Another woman in New York held a sign calling “illegals” and President Obama “cockroaches.”

At the Raleigh event, attended by Gheen himself, protesters in front of the Mexican consulate held a large sign reading “No Way Jose.”

A protester in Texas held a sign saying, “We are a nation of immigrants, not a nation of welfare .”

Another protester in Florida wrote a sign that read, “Send Them Back with Birth Control.”

3. The fringe and the “mainstream” are closely knit.

The weekend’s protests were organized by fringe extremists, but they were promoted by large national groups that have access and influence in national politics.

The largest anti-immigrant organizing groups, the Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR) and Numbers USA quietly promoted the events: Numbers sent a notice about the events to its email list and a number of FAIR’s state affiliates directed members to events in their areas.

Prominent GOP-tied activists also promoted the events. The American Family Association’s Sandy Rios urged listeners of her radio show to attend events in their area and advertised the protest on Facebook. The Right’s favorite "constitutional scholar" Mark Levin also advertised the rallies on Facebook.

Rep. Steve King, the leading anti-immigrant voice in Congress, was spoke at a sparsely attended protest in Nebraska, telling his audience that the migrant children at the border represent an “invasion” the size of “Santa Ana’s army.”

4. The movement’s running on fumes.

The small turnout at the weekend’s rallies highlights the truth that the anti-immigrant movement is desperately trying to hide: it just doesn’t have that much support.

Reports from cities across the country show just small handfuls of people showing up to yell about the child migrants to passing cars.

About 12 people turned up on an overpass in Milwaukee. A similar number gathered in Oklahoma City and Placentia, California. An event in Dover, Delaware, seems to have attracted about twenty. About eight appear to have made it out to hang an “Obama Sucks” banner on an overpass in Chattanooga. Three people turned up on an overpass in Oregon. San Diego mustered 25 people. A small group of protesters in Columbus, Ohio, were disappointed that so few people had showed up. About 15 people made it to the parking lot of the Mexican consulate in Little Rock; consulate officials and local police assured local news that they weren’t too concerned about needing additional security.

Meanwhile, Think Progress reporters in McClellan, Texas, ran into a group of three anti-immigrant demonstrators who wondered if they had gotten the wrong address for the protest. They were drowned out by the more than 60 people rallying in support of the refugee children at the border.

The protests this weekend were an attempt to create the illusion of widespread outrage at the children coming to the southern border and at the concept of immigration reform. A number of the protest groups, however small, garnered local news coverage and were able to say that they were part of a large nationwide effort. A look at reports from across the country shows that that was not the case.

The anti-immigrant movement, for all its smoke and mirrors, consists of a small network of closely tied advocacy groups who rely on fringe extremists like Gheen and Neighbors to rally scant amounts of grassroots support.

5. The GOP is still listening.

The anti-immigrant movement may be smoke and mirrors, but it has some very influential people fooled. House Speaker John Boehner still refuses to bring immigration reform up for a vote in the House. Ted Cruz now says that deporting DREAMers is his “top priority.” Republicans in Congress, spooked by the victory of ALIPAC-supported David Brat in Virginia, say that immigration reform is dead — even though an overwhelming percentage of Republicans want Congress to take action to fix the immigration system and a majority of Republicans want that to include a path to citizenship or permanent residency for undocumented immigrants.

The child refugee crisis has brought out the true colors of the anti-immigrant movement. Even as some conservative groups are urging compassion and care for the children fleeing to the southern border, Republican leaders seem to be buying the narrative of the small, Nativist anti-immigrant fringe.

William Gheen: Immigration Reform Rooted In 'Anti-Christ Culture'

Mashable’s Gina Piccalo writes today about the split among evangelical conservatives on the issue of immigration reform. While some evangelical activists have cited biblical values to support comprehensive immigration reform, others — such as Phyllis SchlaflyDavid Barton and Bryan Fischer — are busily trawling through the Bible for passages to justify their opposition.

Piccalo interviews Americans for Legal Immigration’s William Gheen, who it turns out also takes a Christian nationalist view of his opposition to immigration reform. Gheen conveniently escapes any theological difficulty when it comes to dealing with the thousands of Central American child refugees on the southern border by claiming that the violence they are escaping is a hoax:

"Illegal immigration is the antithesis of Christianity,” says William Gheen, Raleigh, N.C.-based president of Americans For Legal Immigration. “It’s a gross mischaracterization of Christianity to apply it to tolerating the mass lawlessness, death and damages involved in illegal immigration.”

When asked about those children crossing the border in search of refuge from gang-related violence and death, Americans for Legal Immigration president Gheen said immigrant children are coached by money-hungry smugglers who give them “cheat sheets” with fabricated stories of woe, crafted to ensure their amnesty. “There’s no mass slaughter of children in any of the host countries,” Gheen said. “There’s no documentation of any mass slaughter...The children are reciting lines. This is being orchestrated.”

Gheen sounded the same note in an interview Tuesday with VCY America, linking immigration reform proponents with the “anti-Christ culture flooding up through the united states in our movies, in the TV shows, in the minds of people where they hate Duck Dynasty or anything associated with Christians.”

He said that immigrants’ rights groups are anti-Christian because “they don’t like laws, they don’t like borders”: “They like to equate Christians with Nazis and Klansmen and all sorts of stuff like that because Christians try to show any type of restraint on behavior. And they don’t want any restraint on any behaviors, whether it’s criminal or not. They don’t like laws, they don’t like borders. It’s anything goes, people do whatever they want.”

William Gheen Warns China Will 'Pull An Abraham Lincoln,' Recruit Undocumented Immigrants To Attack US From Within In

In an interview with Jim Schneider of VCY America on Tuesday, anti-immigrant activist William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC claimed that in the event of a U.S.- China war over the Taiwan Strait, China will recruit undocumented immigrants to fight the U.S. from within and will then give them American land, a move he compared to Abraham Lincoln giving land to former slaves after recruiting blacks to fight in the Civil War.

“Once again, with China, the Pentagon has reports from war colleges saying, ‘We’ve got large groups of people’  — and they won’t say who they are, but they’re talking about the 20-plus million illegal immigrants — they’re like, ‘We’ve got large groups of people that might not be fond of the Constitution that could be called upon by a foreign power in case of conflict,” Gheen said.

“What they’re talking about is, let’s say that the United States and China end up having to go to war tomorrow over the Taiwan Strait. Well, all the sudden, China pulls an Abraham Lincoln on us and says, ‘Hey, illegals, we’ll give you the whole place, just punch America in the gut for us.’ And America won’t be able to sustain our fleet. America can be taken out by a sneak attack from within.”

Gheen shared this theory at the end of a long rant in response to Schneider asking him if ISIS is trying to exploit the refugee crisis on the southern border to sneak terrorist sleeper cells into the United States.

Gheen replied that terrorist cells were already in the country in the form of Muslim-Americans colluding with Mexican drug cartels to send “precious and strategic metals” to China and get “everybody’s kids and grandkids” “hooked on cocaine and methamphetamine" and then snort their inheritances "all right up their nose and out of the country into Mexico and the on to Saudi Arabia."

“All of that destruction, the deconstruction of the United States, the planned demolition of the United States is all taking place, it’s a plan,” he said. “If you’re a terrorist, you really wouldn’t want to do anything to mess that up. If you’re a sleeper cell, you don’t want to go blow up the town hall and get the locals all upset because right now you’re bringing in more and more of your people and taking over whole communities and neighborhoods and building a mosque on every block.”

Earlier in the interview, Gheen claimed that President Obama is “sponsoring and facilitating” an immigrant “invasion” so “what he sees as evil Whitey can’t ever do anything to come back from it.”

The president, he added “may have our full destruction in mind.”

William Gheen Denies Calling For 'Illegal And Violent' Action Against Obama

For some mysterious reason, the Los Angeles Times has decided that William Gheen of the fringe anti-immigrant group Americans for Immigration Reform is a credible source for immigration policy stories, and last week invited him to participate in a live debate on the issue with two immigration reform advocates.

To her credit, Times report Ann Simmons confronted Gheen with the transcript of a 2011 radio interview — first reported by Right Wing Watch — in which he implied that “illegal and violent” tactics might be needed to stop President Obama’s war on “White America.” (Simmons mistakenly said that Gheen made the comments on the previous day.)

After hearing his comments read back to him, Gheen denied ever calling for violence because he is dedicated to “peaceful, civil-rights-type efforts," and said that because of his dedication to peaceful “civil rights” work, he wouldn’t discuss “those other things that are out there being discussed because of the dictates of Obama.”

He did, however, note that the president has “nullified the Constitution, nullified existing federal law, and nullified the outcomes of our elections.”

William Gheen Claims His 'Underwear Against Amnesty' Campaign Sunk Immigration Reform

Last week, anti-immigrant activist William Gheen urged members of his Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) to mail used underwear to House Speaker John Boehner and President Obama to be given to undocumented immigrants.

Now, Gheen is claiming that his “underwear against amnesty” protest so overwhelmed Boehner and Obama with underwear that, within 48 hours, it single-handedly sunk any hope for immigration reform.

Gheen writes in an email this morning:

Our 'underwear against amnesty' campaign became an internet and talk radio sensation, penetrated the American psyche, raised awareness rapidly of how John Boehner is the same as Obama on amnesty for illegals, and shut down John Boehner for 2014 within 48 hours of our launch!

We stopped John Boehner and now we need to stop Obama and his new illegal alien surge!

John Boehner went into full retreat because of our protest and because our assistance helping Dave Brat defeat Eric Cantor sent shock waves through the Republicans working to help Obama pass amnesty.

Obama did not get his amnesty bill so we have forced his hand to show what a dictator he really is. Obama is now proceeding to implement amnesty legislation that never passed Congress!

Gheen previously claimed that a photo he posted on Facebook that was shared 15 times stopped another effort at reform.

Gheen: Immigrants 'May Smile At You As They Hand You Your Cheeseburger' But They Really Want 'You And Your Whole Family To Die'

In an interview with the Tea Party News Network on Saturday, William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) claimed that Mexican American immigrants “may smile at you as they serve you your cheeseburger or cruise across your lawn with a weed eater” but in reality they want “for you and your whole family to die.”

Gheen claimed that Mexican schools teach students to hate America, so those who immigrate to the U.S. show “no type of mercy” to “anyone out there that’s not a flaming socialist, communist or liberal” and will vote Democratic, based on “racial identity” and “what they consider to be reparations.”

There’s no type of mercy that anyone out there that’s not a flaming socialist, communist or liberal is going to receive from these people. You’re not going to be able to just stand up and say, ‘Please, please spare us from this invasion.’

They’re like, look, they’re bringing in, they’re using in drug cartels to bring in a new block of 80, 90 percent Democratic voters. And there will be no way the Tea Party or any other grassroots organization is ever going to be able to succeed against 20 million that are voting on racial identity and that will vote for more benefits and what they consider to be reparations. Some of them hate us for their perceived status in life. They’re taught in Mexican schools that the reason they’re so poor is because their evil neighbor to the north stole all their mineral-rich land, and of course our ancestors slaughtered all of their ancestors.

And when you teach people this from the time they’re children, they develop a kind of hatred. They may smile at you as they serve you your cheeseburger or cruise across your lawn with a weed eater, but underneath it, when they look at you, they see a person who they blame to be responsible for their poverty and the genocide of their ancestors, and the only way you can make that even-Steven with them is for you and your whole family to die.

UPDATE: We have slightly edited the transcript of Gheen's remarks for accuracy.

William Gheen Asks ALIPAC Members To Mail Used Underwear To Undocumented Immigrants

William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC is urging his group’s members to “send the illegals and DC politicians a message” by mailing them used underwear.

Gheen’s plea comes in response to a routine ICE contract solicitation for underwear for immigrants at detention facilities, which was picked up by Brietbart News.

“Instead of using our tax money to buy illegals 42,000 pairs of new underwear, we would like to send the illegals and DC politicians a message by mailing them our used underwear, and some of our pairs are in really bad shape due to the bad economy and all of the jobs illegal immigrants are taking from Americans,” Gheen writes.

Washington, DC -- ALIPAC.us is calling for tens of thousands of Americans to mail their gently used underwear to Barack Obama and John Boehner to answer Immigration and Customs Enforcement's (ICE) need for free underwear for the new surge of illegal immigrants crossing America's borders, enticed by promises of immigration reform amnesty.

While many Americans will be tempted to send the underwear donations unwashed, ALIPAC is reminding citizens that DC is already full of dirty laundry.

"Obama and Boehner have proven once and for all that their talk of passing immigration reform amnesty, instead of enforcing America's existing border and immigration laws, only brings more unwanted and destructive illegal immigration!" said William Gheen, President of ALIPAC. "Instead of using our tax money to buy illegals 42,000 pairs of new underwear, we would like to send the illegals and DC politicians a message by mailing them our used underwear, and some of our pairs are in really bad shape due to the bad economy and all of the jobs illegal immigrants are taking from Americans."

Americans who want to help the illegals and Americans who are upset that John Boehner and Barack Obama are throwing the future for American children under the bus along with their Oaths of Office, the US Constitution, the outcome of our elections, and the current laws of Congress, are encouraged to mail their used underwear to Barack Obama at The White House, 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW, Washington, DC 20500, and John Boehner at Office of the Speaker, H-232 The Capitol, Washington, DC 20515.

Judicial Watch: Obama 'Engineered' Border Crisis To Force Vote On Immigration Reform

Yet another anti-immigrant activist is claiming that President Obama orchestrated the crisis at the southern border in order to push a vote on immigration reform.

Sean Dunagan of Judicial Watch tells the American Family Association’s OneNewsNow today that Obama “engineered” the influx of families and unaccompanied children in order to “make current immigration law look as cruel and inhumane as they possibly can to possibly build political support for some additional amnesty program”:

Dunagan suggests Obama is opening the floodgates to these young illegal aliens for purely political reasons.

"It seems to be that the administration is trying to make current immigration law look as cruel and inhumane as they possibly can to possibly build political support for some additional amnesty program," he says. "I absolutely believe that it's being engineered and exploited to try force action into bad policy decisions and bad votes on the issue."

Last week, Republican congressmen Steve King and Steve Stockman claimed that the influx of immigrants was part of an Obama administration plot to increase the Democratic vote . Anti-immigrant activist William Gheen has also claimed that the crisis was “orchestrated” by President Obama and George Soros.

On his program last week, Glenn Beck also claimed that the border crisis is part of a plot to pass immigration reform and to ultimately return Arizona to Mexico:

To his credit, Mark Krikorian of the Center for Immigration Studies, one of the anti-immigration reform movement’s most prominent spokespeople, has pushed back on the conspiracy theory.

Wanted: Volunteers To Stop 'Immigrant Youth Invasion,' Must Not Be Members Of 'Truly Racist Organizations'

William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC hopes to gather an army of civilian volunteers over the 4th of July weekend to “go to the border to shut down the new invasion of illegals who are minors” as part of what he’s calling “Operation American Shield.”

In an “emergency broadcast message” yesterday, Gheen pleaded with his followers to come to El Paso to stand against the “Obama orchestrated illegal immigrant youth invasion” which he claims is part of a strategy originating with George Soros to “pursue their overthrow of the American Republic disguised as ‘immigration reform.’”

Gheen writes that “Operation American Shield will be modeled after the very successful nonviolent passive resistance movements of historic note” and as such stipulates that his supporters be unarmed and have “no affiliations with any truly racist organizations.” He of course excludes his own organization from this caveat, writing, “This does not mean affiliations with all of the good groups like ALIPAC that have been falsely labeled racist or violent by Soros backed smear groups.”

While Gheen sees Operation American Shield as a “nonviolent passive resistance movement,” he compares his movement to the violent militia group Minuteman Project.

Gheen seems to be going at this project alone so far, since he adds a plea for a major national spokesperson to his alert: “We respectfully request that Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Senator Jeff Sessions, Congressman Steve King, Congressman Joe Wilson, Michael Savage, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Matt Drudge, Glenn Beck, Mark Levine, filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, Congressman Lou Barletta, Rep. Candice Miller, or someone with their level of remaining media access step up to lead Operation American Shield at the border.”

We are calling for a peaceful citizen protest of the new illegal alien amnesty plan being conducted by the Obama administration called Operation American Shield to take place in El Paso on the weekend of July 4, 2014, and we need as many of you to come participate as possible! We must go to the border to shut down the new invasion of illegals who are minors!

It has been a hard fought battle, but now Obama is violating his oath of office, the Constitution, and numerous existing federal laws simply because high level Republicans are unwilling to impeach and remove him since they serve many of the same global elites that Obama serves!

Our border is now besieged by a great flow of illegal immigrants under the age of 18 who are being persuaded by the Spanish language media in South and Central America to bum rush America illegally and immediately!

Our Border Patrol agents are calling out for help from lawmakers and the public because they are being forced to let in violent criminals and to engage in the kind of human smuggling they are sworn to fight on our behalf. We need to let them know that help is on the way

Obama's administration and much of the American media are orchestrating this invasion by sending the message that America's laws and borders have been overthrown from within by the highest levels of our own government, which is comprised of lawmakers who were elected through massive expenditures combined with lies and deception.

Already, planes have been landing deep inside America filled with these new illegal immigrant kids. Obama and the backers of immigration reform amnesty are betting that soft-hearted Americans would never dare turn away children, and they are using these children to pursue their overthrow of the American Republic disguised as "immigration reform."

The US Border Patrol has essentially been ordered to aid and abet the drug cartels and illegal immigrants at our borders.

This new form of invasion, which relies upon treachery and treason in the top echelons of our own government, represents a deadly threat to our entire system of national security! It is an overthrow of our laws, the Constitution and our elections because those we have elected to Congress have passed legislation saying none of this should ever be allowed to happen!

We are updating our homepage at www.alipac.us with as many stories as possible to inform you of this new level of threat where some estimate that around 250,000 new illegal immigrant kids are going to enter America rapidly in this fashion with the coerced support of the Border Patrol per orders from Obama who is probably acting on orders from his boss George Soros!

We apologize to everyone for our short delay addressing this new crisis in full, but our resources have been strained playing a role in the defeat of Eric Cantor. We are a political action committee and we would have even held back illegal immigration supporter Lindsey Graham if we had been able to raise and spend a few thousand more dollars! If the Border Patrol is going to fly all of these new illegal immigrant kids into the country, I say we send them all to South Carolina where they can be with Lindsey Graham and these Republicans who voted for their own electoral doom by reelecting him in last week's primary battle!

Operation American Shield will need many American citizen volunteers who have clean criminal records and no affiliations with any truly racist organizations. This does not mean affiliations with all of the good groups like ALIPAC that have been falsely labeled racist or violent by Soros backed smear groups. Operation American Shield will be a fully racially inclusive effort as one of our core goals is to unite Americans of all races and walks of life who support America's borders and existing immigration laws and the Constitution!

Operation American Shield will be modeled after the very successful nonviolent passive resistance movements of historic note.

All Operation American Shield participants will need to volunteer for affordable ($25) background checks and agree to serve gun free. While I am a huge supporter of the Second Amendment, it is imperative that we all go as sheep before the wolves. We must go unarmed to the border.

We are going to observe the border and document what is happening as we place ourselves physically in the way of the illegal immigrants. This is our nation and this is our border and we have the right to stand on it, in front of it, and to make a statement to the world that the border is closed to illegals.

When the Minuteman Project went to the US-Mexico Border in 2005, it was proven that citizen volunteers could secure sections of the border from illegal traffic. Furthermore, illegal crossings in all sections of the border slowed and stopped in reaction to the presence of civilian watchdog groups. In Washington, DC, politicians were forced to focus more attention on border security instead of trying to pass immigration reform amnesty which would permanently destroy America's borders.

Everyone in America must quickly realize that the Obama orchestrated illegal immigrant youth invasion that our Border Patrol agents are being ordered to assist with is what these treacherous elites have planned for America's future... Open borders and unending waves of people pouring into America until the current peoples, laws, and values of Americans are permanently submerged beneath destructive waves of impoverished humanity.

We respectfully request that Laura Ingraham, Rush Limbaugh, Senator Jeff Sessions, Congressman Steve King, Congressman Joe Wilson, Michael Savage, Judge Andrew Napolitano, Matt Drudge, Glenn Beck, Mark Levine [sic], filmmaker Dennis Michael Lynch, Sheriff Joe Arpaio, Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann, Congressman Lou Barletta, Rep. Candice Miller, or someone with their level of remaining media access step up to lead Operation American Shield at the border.

Emphases are ours.

Tillis Borrowed 'Traditional Population' Phrase From Anti-Immigrant Extremists

TPM has dug up a 2012 interview in which North Carolina House Speaker and Republican U.S. Senate candidate Thom Tillis contrasts the growing black and Latino populations with the more stagnant “traditional population of North Carolina and the United States.” (The exchange starts about 2:45 into this video.)

Tills made the remarks while discussing the need for the Republican Party to reach out to and appeal to non-white voters — but the phrase “traditional population” as a euphemism for white Americans was lifted right from the racist, anti-immigrant fringe.

The Social Contract, the journal founded by anti-immigrant movement godfather John Tanton frequently uses the phrasetraditional Americans” to mean non-immigrants, and specifically white non-immigrants. One example, from an essay by Brenda Walker in the Fall 2012 issue: “The idea of diversity has been used like a club, to force obedience to the utopian multicultural state, as traditional Americans are assailed by affirmative action and benefits for illegal aliens, which are not available to citizens.”

The white nationalist website VDARE is also known to use the formulation. The late white supremacist writer Sam Francis, who was a contributor to VDARE, has also used the phrase.

The phrase is also a favorite of William Gheen, the leader of the anti-immigrant hate group Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, who warned earlier this year that immigration reform would “lead to a situation where traditional Americans, like those that have been here for hundreds of years in descendancy, will no longer govern our own nation.”

Eagle Forum, the group founded by Phyllis Schlafly, hinted at the same idea when it lamented that “non-whites, non-Christians, and non-marrieds vote Democrat out of group identifications. That is, they see it as being in their group interests to tear down traditional American culture.”

Famously, Fox News’ Bill O’Reilly made the same connection when he lamented that changing demographics mean "it’s not traditional America anymore.” Pat Buchanan’s 2009 column, “Traditional Americans Are Losing Their Nation,” got at the same point.

Even if Tillis meant what he said about reaching out to black and Latino voters, his use of the phrase “traditional Americans” as a euphemism for white people shows that he has a long way to go.

David Brat Sought Endorsement Of Anti-Immigrant Hate Group ALIPAC

David Brat’s upset victory over House Majority Leader Eric Cantor in yesterday’s Republican primary in Virginia’s seventh congressional district was driven in part by Brat’s no-compromise position on immigration reform, which put him even farther to the right than the not-exactly immigration-friendly Cantor .

Among those celebrating Brat’s surprise win is William Gheen, head of the anti-immigrant hate group ALIPAC , who used some of his group’s meager funds to send out a robocall in the district in the days before the election, playing up the fear that undocumented immigrants would “vote with or against you in future elections.”

While the robocall was an independent endeavor, Brat had actively sought ALIPAC’s endorsement.

In February, Brat’s campaign manager filled out ALIPAC’s candidate survey, which asked prospective endorsees to choose between the enforcement of “immigration laws as the U.S. Constitution requires for the protection of American jobs, elections, taxpayer resources, health and lives” and immigration reform, which it said would “lead to a new voting bloc of 11-20 million illegal immigrants, which would in turn destroy any future hopes of border or immigration law existence or enforcement.” Brat chose the former, and earned Gheen’s endorsement .

Gheen — who is ALIPAC’s chief cook and bottle-washer — is a fringe extremist, even in the already extreme anti-immigrant movement. Here is just a smattering of his paranoid, racist rhetoric, that would have been easily accessible to the Brat campaign through a quick Google search:

William Gheen Robocall Warns South Carolina & Virginia Voters That Immigrants Will Take Their Jobs, Welfare And Votes

Updated

Despite his group’s perpetual financial woes, William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC has managed to scrape together enough funds to deluge 122,000 households in South Carolina and Virginia with a robocall attacking Rep. Eric Cantor and Sen. Lindsey Graham for supporting immigration reform, Brietbart reports today.

“Remember that a vote for Cantor or Graham is a vote for tens of millions of illegal immigrants to get amnesty, jobs, welfare payments and a vote with or against you in future elections. Remember who to thank for amnesty. Thank Eric Cantor and Lindsey Graham” Gheen says in the robocall, which he tells Breitbart will reach 26,000 Republican households Cantor’s Virginia district and 96,000 in South Carolina.

Cantor, meanwhile, hasn’t explicitly endorsed immigration reform and is actuallyfundraising off the claim that he blocked reform from moving forward in Congress.

Gheen is one of the most extreme figures in the anti-immigrant movement, who has warned of a violent revolution if the immigrant “invasion” can’t be stopped and said that immigration reform would amount to “national rape.”

UPDATE: It looks like Gheen’s South Carolina calls violate state law, which of course gives Gheen another opportunity for self-aggrandizement. The State reports:

State law bans automatically dialed calls that deliver unsolicited, prerecorded consumer or political messages without assistance of a live operator, S.C. Republican Party chairman Matt Moore said in a memo sent out last month as a reminder to campaigns.

Graham’s campaign spokesman, Tate Zeigler, said of the automated calls, “We don't do illegal robo calls.”

Americans for Legal Immigration president William Gheen said his robo-calls comply with federal law. Gheen was not familiar with S.C. law. After reading it, he said he would turn himself in if any prosecutor decided to charge him.

He also said he would beat any charges.

“I feel quite confident in my ability to defeat this in a court of law,” Gheen said, adding he is defending his right to engage in political speech. “For our republic to function, people need to be able to communicate with voters.”

Gheen said he has one request for anyone who plans to arrest him: “The only thing I ask is that they do it before Election Day, please."

UPDATE II: Gheen has issued a press release hyping his own martyrdom, even though there has been no indication that he will even be charged under the rarely-enforced South Carolina law:

The President of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC William Gheen is facing possible charges and arrest after bumping into a unique, obscure, and unenforced state law banning automated campaign calls that are designed to warn South Carolina and Virginia voters about how the immigration reform amnesty plans of Senator Lindsey Graham and Congressman Eric Cantor will affect them.

...

"I know that nobody likes robo-calls, but isn't it ironic that I might be charged for violating an obscure unenforced state law curtailing freedoms of political speech while more than 12 million illegal immigrants flagrantly violate numerous federal laws designed to protect Americans from real damages?" said William Gheen of ALIPAC. "A few seconds of an annoying call is nothing compared to the millions of devastated American lives that are a result of Lindsey Graham's and Eric Cantor's support for amnesty for illegals."

William Gheen: Undocumented Immigrants Joining Military Have 'Hatred And Contempt For Americans'

William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC (ALIPAC) commemorated Memorial Day weekend by sending an email to members of his group warning that a proposed measure to allow undocumented immigrants to join the military would “bring great joy to America's enemies in China and the Islamic world as taxpayers will now be forced to replace their own children in America's military with illegal aliens who will swear an oath to anything while maintaining their hatred and contempt for Americans.”

He further laments that the bill would “put military assault rifles and grenades into the hands of illegal aliens.”

We need your help to be able to return to the fight this Tuesday where we need to take action to stop the latest amnesty ploy in Washington.

The latest attempt seeks to put military assault rifles and grenades into the hands of illegal aliens who will join the military in exchange for amnesty for themselves and their relatives. This will be bring great joy to America's enemies in China and the Islamic world as taxpayers will now be forced to replace their own children in America's military with illegal aliens who will swear an oath to anything while maintaining their hatred and contempt for Americans.

Claiming that “tens of thousands of Americans have been killed” and “massive atrocities” have occurred because of undocumented immigrants, Gheen tells WND, “These open-borders traitors have opened America... William Gheen of Americans for Legal Immigration PAC, one of the key organizers of this month’s sparsely attended but prominently endorsed anti-immigrant protests, warned WorldNetDaily today that if President Obama were to issue an executive order preventing the deportation of some undocumented immigrants, that would amount to instituting “martial law” and Americans would face a choice between “subjugation” and actions that are “outside the purview of my peaceful and political efforts.” Gheen frequently hints that “ illegal and violent...
