Renew America: Ray Rice Is The Real Victim

Renew America columnist Sylvia Thompson writes today that Ray Rice is the victim of a “sick, twisted, and evil” culture that hates men and that “Rice finds himself in the hands of a veritable lynch mob of leftists who seem hell-bent on destroying him.”

Since “Rice is not a homosexual man,” Thompson argues, “he suffers the full wrath of the holier-than-thou leftist mob” of “a pernicious feminism that pollutes the entire culture.”

She adds that “disgusting” feminists are “destroying the nation and many of the decent people in it” such as Rice, whom she views as the real victim of domestic abuse and an effort to usher in the “destruction of black men.”

“Radical feminists need to be taught that lesson,” she continues. “In their quest to destroy men, they have elevated domestic violence well beyond offenses of a much more grievous nature.”

While Thompson supports Ray Rice, she has strongly denounced gay athletes Michael Sam and Jason Collins as minions of Satan.

Everybody knows that if Ray Rice, the football player who is being systematically destroyed by leftists, were a homosexual who had decked another homosexual male (of any color), this fiasco would be played out vastly differently. The leftist media and sports industry would be doing everything that they could to justify the behavior – lobbying for counseling, calling for sympathy, shielding the perpetrator in every possible way. Excuse, excuse, excuse – that would be the mantra. But Ray Rice is not a homosexual man, so he suffers the full wrath of the holier-than-thou leftist mob (and all the misguided people who follow them).

What the mob is doing to Rice is beyond disgusting – it is criminal. It is a mob influenced by a pernicious feminism that pollutes the entire culture; nobody has the guts to cross rabid feminists. Rice's wife and child are being completely ignored in this eternal quest for blood, anybody's blood, as long as somebody is destroyed. Our culture has become so sick, twisted, and evil, that I find it very difficult to participate in it. I doubt that I am alone in my sentiments.

Doctor Ben Carson is the only person that I have heard, of late, who is responding to the tragedy with a sense of decency. He has cautioned against "demonizing" Ray Rice, and that is about the only sane advice I am hearing.

I addressed the issue of women physically attacking men and expecting no retaliation in an earlier article. It seems to have been determined that Janay Palmer (then, Rice's girlfriend) initiated the physical violence. I will reiterate my earlier position. If you are a woman with any sense in your head, you do not aggressively attack men. They are physically larger and if not larger, they are likely stronger. Women ignore this admonition at their own risk. I also heard that alcohol played a part in this incident. And contrary to what some may think, alcohol can indeed induce violent behavior. I am from a long line of serious drinkers, and I can attest to that fact.

If the National Football League (NFL) wants to set rules of conduct for its players, they can do so, as any employer can. The draconian decision passed down regarding Rice, however, is purely the result of attempting to please leftist feminists, and that reaction in itself is disgusting, and hypocritical. It is asinine to deny a man his livelihood except for the most grievous offenses, and domestic violence, as bad as it is, is not the most grievous offense out there. Radical feminists need to be taught that lesson. In their quest to destroy men, they have elevated domestic violence well beyond offenses of a much more grievous nature, in my view.

This takes me back to my initial premise that one of the Left's many goals is the destruction of black men.

This black man, Ray Rice, spent much of his youth preparing to take on the job of an accomplished athlete. Sports, sadly, is one of the few venues that afford often poorly educated black children a chance to move forward in their lives, and not down that deadly spiral of poverty and imprisonment. And yet, Rice finds himself in the hands of a veritable lynch mob of leftists who seem hell-bent on destroying him. I'd bet that he does not quite know what has hit him.

My hope and prayer is that Rice and his wife will be able to find means of supporting their family and get beyond this hatefulness. And, perhaps later, they will join those of us who are in mortal combat against leftist thinking, which is destroying the nation and many of the decent people in it.

Mike Huckabee Promises Christians That The 'Sons Of Isaac' Will Defeat The 'Sons Of Ishmael'

Mike Huckabee closed out his remarks at last night's "Star Spangled Sunday" event by recounting how, many years ago, he used to watch Arkansas Razorbacks basketball games when they were re-broadcast late at night, especially when he already knew that they had won the game when it was played live earlier in the day because, no matter what the score was at any point, he knew that his team would ultimately win.

Huckabee urged those in attendance to apply this same lesson in response to the threat from radical Islam, saying that they should read the Bible in order to realize that the Christians will defeat the Muslims in the end.

"I got good news for all the dispirited and disquieted Christians in America who somehow are afraid that the Sons of Ishmael who are challenging us now in the Middle East will overwhelm the Sons of Isaac," Huckabee said. "Let me assure you, I have read the end of the Book! My dear friend, we win!"

WND Pundit: Feminists To Blame For Domestic Abuse, Ray Rice Case

Gina Loudon of WorldNetDaily knows who is really to blame for domestic abuse in America: feminists.

Loudon writes today that feminists have convinced women, such as Janay Rice, that “women are the same as men” and therefore do not need protection from their violent male partners, leading to “more abuse of women (and men).”

While Loudon doesn’t have any evidence that feminism is somehow linked to abuse, she believes no “intellectually honest” person could disagree with her analysis.

Where were the bra-burning, old-guard feminists this week in the Ray Rice abuse controversy? If women and men are truly the same as they claim, then why weren’t they screaming in protest of his punishment? If women are the same as men, then how can they argue that a woman beaten by her boyfriend deserves special protection? Were they consistent, the feminist hypocrites would be decrying the NFL for extending protection to women that they do not need (by their own standards).

Feminists demand that training be “equalized” to facilitate women becoming firefighters and combat troops (in mixed-gender units), but on the other hand, they sit quietly when special protections are extended to women. Is there one intellectually honest liberal who will point to this hypocrisy?

The difficult part is that for so long, feminists have said there is no difference between men and women, and the American Psychological Association has backed them up. If that’s true, then you can’t say that male abusers are more at fault than female abusers. That muddies the waters in cases like the Ray Rice controversy. The feminists have not done women a favor here. Clearly, Rice is at least double the size of his now wife. That is a clear difference that should not be overlooked. Despite old feminists’ fantasies, women and men are not the same.

American culture used to value the special protection of women, and now it doesn’t. Feminists burned bras and emasculated men to reach “sameness.” Now they have it, but real women are waking up and asking, “Do we really want to be the same as men?” Less than 20 percent of women today want to call themselves feminists. The old-school feminists wanted military equality (front-line combat), gender neutrality and partnerships instead of the protections for women and children in marriage.

I believe it is that shift to sameness over the past 50 years that has led to more abuse of women (and men). Now taxpayers are forced to fund these myths (that there is no difference between men and women) through “feminist studies” programs in our schools and universities. …

The Rice case is critical to the fiber of our culture, and to those one in four women (and men) out there who understand Palmer’s plight all too well. We can thank the old feminists for putting us here. The question is, can we be honest enough to look at the opposite sex, and admit that equal does not mean same?

Austin Miles: Obama Facilitating Terrorist Attacks In The US

Rev. Austin Miles, who believes President Obama is going to arrest him and throw him in jail any day now, took to Renew America on Friday to warn that the president is planning to use immigration to “destroy us from within.”

According to Miles, Obama has declared “war” on Christians and has “knowingly let in Islamic terrorists” in hopes that they will “initiate further attacks on America.”

Right after 9/11, it was suddenly OK to pray and bring God back into the life of America. Churches were filled bringing a different atmosphere to our country. Then cometh Obama.

When Communist trained Obama was PLACED in the White House (not voted in-but PLACED) war was suddenly declared on churches, Christians or any expressions of the Christian faith. They (the Christians) were the real enemy.

If Congress grants amnesty and citizenship to twenty million criminal invaders called illegals – and they vote – then we can say goodbye to the USA in fewer than five years.

By opening our borders to all comers, Obama has knowingly let in Islamic terrorists who have actually set up training camps in America. These camps are heavily guarded and left alone to do what they may. And they plan to initiate further attacks on America, on American soil, thanks to Obama who has opened the door for them to come in and set up shop.

Instead of protecting America, which a REAL LEGITIMATE President would do, he lets the Islamists have full access to our country so that they can destroy us from within.

'In America's Darkest Hour ... God Stepped In To Save The Day': A History Lesson From FRC

Last night, the Family Research Council hosted an event at First Baptist Church in Charlotte, North Carolina called "Star Spangled Sunday."

Billed as a celebration of 200th anniversary of the national anthem, the event featured speakers like Sen. Ted Cruz, Mike Huckbee, Rick Scarborough, E..W. Jackson and others and turned out to be primarily a promotional event for FRC's "123Vote.com" effort to register and mobilize Christian voters ahead of the midterm elections.

Kicking off the program was a video history lesson in which Kenyn Cureton, FRC's Vice President for Church Ministries, explained the many times that God directly intervened in order to establish and save America.

As Cureton explained, when the British burned Washington during the War of 1812, God sent torrential rains, and even a tornado, to put out the flames and kill the British troops.

"God brought a storm of biblical proportions to Washington," he said, "and unleashed it on those British invaders."

Time and again, "God providentially intervened" in American history to protect this nation, Cureton said, and He will do so again if only this nation will turn back to Him ... by which he presumably means "register and vote for Republicans":

FAIR: Immigration Will Cause US To 'Fall Apart' Like Iraq

Dan Stein, president of the misleadingly named anti-immigrant group Federation for American Immigration Reform (FAIR), told a radio host in Florida last week that only anti-immigrant activists like himself could save America from Iraq-like collapse.

“After we saw Iraq fall apart, a lot of us are wondering, are we going to see the same post-Obama disaster from, what, eight years of his decimating our immigration control apparatus” Stein asked host Joyce Kaufman on Tuesday.

Later in the interview, Kaufman lamented that too many news hosts are afraid of being “called a bigot, or anti-Hispanic, anti-Islamic.”

Stein responded that it was “brave” people like himself and Kaufman would save America from collapse: “Because in the end, you have to hope civilization will go forward and civilization will produce better political leadership in the future and more knowledgeable people who have a better sweep understanding of history, world history, who have a better appreciation of what is at stake if our civilization crumbles and collapses in this country.”

Stein: Even the New York Times is beginning to talk about the apparent disconnect between the real world, the world as we find it, and the president’s apparent worldview. And after we saw Iraq fall apart, a lot of us are wondering, are we going to see the same post-Obama disaster from, what, eight years of his decimating our immigration control apparatus? There’s a lot of stake in this issue.

Kaufman: The average TV anchor doesn’t want to be called a bigot, or anti-Hispanic, anti-Islamic, they can’t take it.

Stein: Well, there are, look, somebody once told me years ago, most people are cowards. But there are brave people like yourself, your listeners, hopefully most of us at FAIR, and people across the country who will not relent, will not give up. Because in the end, you have to hope civilization will go forward and civilization will produce better political leadership in the future and more knowledgeable people who have a better sweep understanding of history, world history, who have a better appreciation of what is at stake if our civilization crumbles and collapses in this country. And only by holding the light, the beacon of light, carried forward to get us through this very difficult period can we move on to greener pastures.

WND Columnist: Make The Quran Illegal

The far-right outlet WorldNetDaily, which regularly pushes conspiracy theories about President Obama and gay rights advocates plotting to eliminate religious freedom and criminalize Christianity, today published a column calling on the government to prosecute anyone reading passages from the Quran that could “constitute criminal incitement to murder.”

Lord Christopher Monckton today calls on Congress to pass a bill making it illegal to read passages of the Quran calling for the death of non-believers, which appear in the Hebrew Bible as well.

Craven public authorities have failed to act against the circulation of the Quran in its present form because they fear a violent backlash.

How, then, is this manifestly illegal text to be dealt with? It is not our custom to ban books, for freedom of speech is guaranteed by the Constitution.

However, it is our custom to prosecute for incitement to murder. And the fact that incitement is on every page of what is said to be a holy book does not diminish, still less extinguish, the offense.

A bill should be brought before Congress identifying all passages in the Quran which, whether in isolation or taken together, constitute incitement to murder.

The bill should specify that anyone who reads any of these passages out loud is to be charged with that crime and, if convicted, subjected to the usual penalty for it – a long prison term.

The bill should state that, after a grace period of a year, every copy of the Quran must clearly identify by emboldened and different-colored text the passages that constitute criminal incitement to murder, together with a clearly printed warning on the first page that reading any of these passages out loud anywhere within the jurisdiction of the United States may result in prosecution.

The prominent part played by the Quran in the radicalization of young Muslims so that they become willing to murder their own fellow-citizens demands that we act at once, before its dangerous influence incites the loss of any more innocent lives. The Quran as it now stands is illegal.

Paranoia-Rama: Obama's 'Demon Spirit,' 'Feminizing' Football And Hollywood's Gay Trickery

RWW’s Paranoia-Rama takes a look at five of the week’s most absurd conspiracy theories from the Right.

While the entertainment industry is slyly tricking women into becoming lesbians, President Obama is forcing Americans to engage in same-sex marriages as part of his Nazi plot against America.

5. ‘Girl-On Girl Movies’ Are Making Kids Gay

Pat Robertson is back with more words of wisdom about homosexuality, sharing his views yesterday on why some people, particularly young women, are gay.

According to Robertson, Hollywood’s penchant for “girl-on-girl movies” — along with sexual abuse — is to blame.

4. Obama’s Alien/Demon Pal

Jim Garrow has managed to bring several of his anti-Obama conspiracy theories together, including his claims that Obama believes he is the Mahdi of a branch of Shia Islam, communicates with aliens and is secretly gay .

Bathhouse Barry referring to himself as the "Voice in the Wilderness, like John the Baptist for Jesus". This was in reference to his belief that he will introduce the mahdi to the world (possibly an alien as in transdimensional being) aka demon spirit. You can't make this stuff up. Obama is doing far too much blow and weed. Someone needs to curtail his meetings with Reggie Love.

Sadly, Garrow has no new information on Obama’s plan to nuke America or attack us with Canadian troops.

3. Feminists ‘Chickifying’ The NFL

Who will speak up for the downtrodden, heterosexual male? Rush Limbaugh will, that’s who. After fretting about Michael Sam’s “assault” on heterosexuality, Limbaugh expressed his displeasure with those who are angry with the way the NFL handled the Ray Rice domestic violence scandal.

“Folks, this, none of this, this is crazy, we’re feminizing this game and it’s a man’s game and if we keep feminizing this game we’re going to ruin it, if we keep chickifying this game, we’re going to ruin it,” Limbaugh said, lashing out at the “feminized,” “politically correct” men who apparently dominate the NFL and sports media.

Limbaugh also linked the scandal to the Democratic Party (who of course are the real sexists), suggesting that NFL players are probably Democrats who abuse their wives: “‘War on women,’ these guys beating up their wives, are they all Republicans or are they voting Democrat [sic] you think? Who is really conducting the war on women here? Who is actually doing it? Who has brought all this about? All this supposed abuse on women takes place in the NFL, who are these guys, think they’re voting Republican? I kind of doubt it. I did just ask that, are these guys who are engaging in domestic violence, which is a war on women, are they voting Republican or are they voting Democrat? I think the odds are they’re voting Democrat, aren’t they?”

Media Matters captured the audio:

2. Obama Is Worse Than Hitler

Did you know that people are being forced against their will to participate in abortions and same-sex marriages?

At least, that’s the story according to Liberty Counsel head Mat Staver and his “Faith & Freedom” radio show co-host Matt Barber.

Staver, who once warned of “forced homosexuality” under Obama, said Christians have never faced such a horrible or more persecuted time in American history than they do under Obama’s presidency, and things have gotten so bad that the U.S. government is more punitive and cruel than Nazi Germany.

1. Dirty Democrats Helping ‘Uneducated’ People Vote

Unable to back up claims about the hazards of voter fraud with any actual proof, Republican officials now just seem to be giving away what their “election integrity” campaigns are all about.

Georgia state Sen. Frank Millar, for example, is upset that a government officials plan to open a polling location at a mall “dominated by African American shoppers” and “near several large African American mega churches,” and has pledged to stop the plan from going forward.

Millar explained that he isn’t upset that black people are voting, just that uneducated people (wink, wink) are voting: “I would prefer more educated voters than a greater increase in the number of voters. If you don't believe this is an efort [sic] to maximize Democratic votes pure and simple, then you are not a realist. This is a partisan stunt and I hope it can be stopped.”

Not to be outdone, Georgia’s top elections official, Republican Secretary of State Brian Kemp, expressed dismay that “the Democrats are working hard, and all these stories about them, you know, registering all these minority voters that are out there.” Kemp cited ACORN, a group which no longer exists, to substantiate his worries about voter fraud.
