Right Wing Bonus Tracks - 11/24/15

  • In his most recent video, Theodore Shoebat says that gays are "internal invaders, they are the enemy within."
  • Jan Markell supports Donald Trump's plan to monitor mosques: "We have an administration that will not confront Islam. So guys like Donald Trump are having to confront Islam. And my opinion is: I'm all for it, let's do it."
  • Mat Staver says Christians must be "prepared to suffer for Christ": "The homosexual lobby is forcing this agenda against people with deeply held religious beliefs, trying to crush Christian viewpoints and beliefs."
  • Gina Miller says that "Islam is a political-militant ideology born in Hell and authored by Satan himself. Allah certainly is Satan. Islam is one of his master stroke creations, leading millions to an eternity in Hell."
  • Finally, Mike Huckabee says that he would be willing to participate in a presidential debate hosted by Glenn Beck, which is interesting given that Beck hates Huckabee with a passion.

David Horowitz: U.S. Shouldn't Have Taken Refugees From Nazi Germany

Conservative activist David Horowitz, who has close ties with a number of prominent Republican elected officials, argued against the U.S. resettlement of Syrian refugees yesterday by implying that the U.S. rightly refused refugees from Nazi Germany during World War II.

In an interview with Bobby Gunther of WAEB in Pennsylvania, Horowitz stated his strong opposition to accepting Syrian refugees and, in an effort to emphasize his point, compared the current situation with the United States’ position during World War II. “Forget this refugee thing, we’re in a war!” Horowitz said. “You want to take refugees from Nazi Germany during the Second World War? Come on!”

Indeed, public opinion was strongly opposed to accepting refugees during World War II, with many citing fears that Jewish refugees would represent an internal threat to America.

Horowitz ended his commentary by stating that the Obama administration is “treasonous” for accepting refugees.

Beck: 'ISIS Is The Fruit Of Obama'

Glenn Beck dedicated a good part of his radio program this morning to laying out his case that the Obama administration is directly responsible for the rise of ISIS, the establishment of the self-proclaimed caliphate and, by extension, the recent terrorist attacks in Paris.

Relying entirely upon one heavily redacted Defense Intelligence assessment from 2012 that was released back in May, Beck entirely misrepresented its findings to declare that the Obama administration sought to use Al Qaeda in Iraq, the precursor to ISIS, to foment a proxy war in Syria in order to topple the Assad regime and allow the creation of a "Salafist Principality" in Eastern Syria.

"Now, I want to make this very clear," Beck said. "I'm charging that this president was the architect behind much of what was going on. I am charging that the president was not surprised by this at all. I'm charging that the president knew clearly these things would happen."

"ISIS is the fruit of Obama," he declared. "No good fruit can grow from a bad tree ... In reality, they saw ISIS coming, they wanted ISIS to come. Would Paris have happened if we would have destroyed ISIS in the first place rather than contain them, rather than arm them, rather than coddle them? This president sowed these seeds. We are now reaping what has been sown by our own president. Do not allow him to plant any more seeds!"

Beck's entire argument relies upon his false claim that these were "key goals" of the Obama administration when, in reality, the intelligence assessment asserted that these were merely "future assumptions about the crisis." The assessment simply noted that the on-going Syrian civil war could evolve into a proxy war, with the Syrian regime getting support from Russia, Iran, and China; not that this was in any way the goal of the Obama administration, as Beck asserted.

In addition, the assessment noted that Syrian "opposition forces will try to use Iraqi territory as a safe haven for its forces" and that "if the situation unravels, there is the possibility of establishing a declared or undeclared Salafist principality in Eastern Syria." Such an outcome was not, as Beck claimed, the administration's goal. In fact, the assessment notes in the very next bullet point that such developments would carry the threat of "dire consequences" for the region by providing Al Qaeda in Iraq an "ideal atmosphere" to thrive and by giving it "renewed momentum," which would represent a "grave danger" to efforts to unify and stabilize Iraq.

David Clarke: Refugees Should Be Recalled Like Contaminated SpaghettiOs

This week on his program on Glenn Beck’s TheBlaze radio network, Milwaukee County Sheriff David Clarke warned that if the U.S. continues to accept Syrian refugees, it will amount to “national suicide,” comparing refugees to contaminated cans of SpaghettiOs

“Campbell’s soup recently had a recall on SpaghettiOs,” Clarke explained. “A couple of cans of SpaghettiOs turned up with plastic chips in them. Campbell’s doesn’t know how they got in there. You know what Campbell’s had to do? They had to recall that entire lot of SpaghettiOs.”

Clarke said that Campbell’s had to “reasonably” and “safely” assume that every can was contaminated, and therefore had to recall all of the SpaghettiOs. The same logic, according to Clarke, should be applied to Syrian refugees because every one might be a terrorist. Thus, he said, the U.S. must put a full stop to accepting refugees from the war-torn country.

Jonathan Cahn Links Gay Marriage To Paris Terrorist Attacks

After linking the recent terrorist attacks in France to the country’s support for Palestinian statehood, End Times preacher Jonathan Cahn told televangelist Jim Bakker yesterday that America could face terrorist attacks as part of God’s wrath over the legalization of same-sex marriage.

Cahn, who described terrorist attacks as the “second harbinger” of God’s judgment on a nation, claimed that God will punish nations like the U.S. and France for their gay marriage “apostasy” by lifting up violent extremists.

He said that the “second harbinger,” or terrorism, could come to America due to its support for marriage equality “in a way that is greater than the first,” a reference to the September 11 attacks.

Michael Savage Hopes The Sicilian Mafia Will Protect America From ISIS Since Obama Won't

Radio host Michael Savage is convinced that President Obama secretly supports ISIS, and now he is counting on the Sicilian mafia to defend the people of New York.

Yesterday, he interviewed Giovanni Gambino, who was promoting his new book about “the good side of the Mafia,” “The Vindicators.”

Savage voiced concern that the government was going to go after him for his anti-ISIS work, but Gambino reassured him, saying, “I’ll break a few legs, I’ll break an arm or two. Listen, you have to do certain things for the good of the world.”

Gambino also told Savage that he saw “with his own eyes in Bay Ridge” Arab Americans celebrating the 9/11 attacks.

Jonathan Cahn: Paris Attack Was God's Punishment For France's Palestinian Activism

Yesterday, End Times preacher Jonathan Cahn appeared on “The Jim Bakker Show” for a program titled “Shocking France and Harbinger Connections” to discuss his claim that the Paris terrorist attacks were tied to biblical prophecy.

Cahn linked the massacre in Paris to the French government’s support for a UN resolution on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, which according to Cahn, angered God and became a curse on France.

Robert Spencer: Obama Inviting Terrorists To America To Make Us Like The Rest Of The World

Jihad Watch’s Robert Spencer reached deep into the well of anti-Obama conspiracy theories in an interview with Janet Mefferd last week, claiming that the fact that the president was once spotted reading a book by Fareed Zakaria shows that he is intent on making America “level” with the rest of the world by bringing in terrorists in the form of Syrian refugees.

The president wants to admit refugees from the Syrian civil war, Spencer said, “because he’s a leveler and he believes that the United States is the problem in the world.”

As evidence, he cited the fact that Obama was photographed in 2008 reading a copy of Zakaria’s “The Post-American World,” which Spencer — not exactly accurately — claimed argues that the U.S. should be “weakened militarily, politically and economically.”

“I think it’s unarguable that that’s been Obama’s program,” he said. “It certainly has weakened America in all those ways. And the thing is that this Syrian refugee crisis is part of the same thing, that he brings everyone over here, brings even jihadis over here, and here again then we’re just like the rest of the world where this kind of thing like the Paris attacks happens with much more frequency than it has here up to now. And it’s all part of this socialistic leveling and anti-American stance that the president has had not only as president, but throughout his career.”

Kevin Swanson: Homosexuality Is 'The Catalyst By Which Nations Are Destroyed'

Earlier this month, a lesbian candidate was elected mayor of Salt Lake City, and the news did not sit well with Religious Right radio host Kevin Swanson, who told listeners on Friday that this is just one more sign that the end of America is at hand.

Denouncing Mormonism as a “sham religion,” Swanson said that the Salt Lake City mayoral election shows that homosexuality is just “the tip of the iceberg” while other sins like child molestation and porn addiction “hide under the water.”

“Sure enough, the bastion of conservativism is ultimately the place at which the future of this nation is being eroded in the most fundamental sense,” he said.

This led Swanson to talk about a LGBT conference sponsored by The Economist, lamenting that the magazine wants “to be that edgy, progressive organization that promotes the homosexuality in the business world and the very thing that will destroy nations. People don’t believe that, that homosexuality will be the catalyst by which nations are destroyed, because they don’t believe that God exists and they don’t believe God is judge and they don’t believe that God has the right to determine right and wrong, good and evil as he does in the word of God.”
